Why come to iWord to the account 24.07.08 -17.08.08 =7,45828 and not 7 ?
Wie kann man die Formel so ändern , das nicht der Fehler kommt :Zahl kann nicht durch Null geteilt werden

On my machine, = 24/08/08 - 17/08/08 returns: 0,109375 which is perfectly logical as it calculates the difference between two numbers:
(24 divided by 08 ) divided by 08
and
(17 divided by 08 ) divided by 08
If I replace the slashes by periods, I get a red triangle meaning syntax error
If I replace the slashes by commas same behavior.
If I stores 17/08/2008 in B2
and 24/08/2008 in C2
entering =C-B in D2 returns 7.
The result which you get means that your cells are not storing only dates but that they are storing time values (maybe the result of the use of =NOW() plus a copy-paste value only.
For instance, B1 17/08/2008
C1 24/08/2008 10:59:55
would give the returned value.
To get rid of that you must take care to enter pure date values (=TODAY() is the required alternate to =NOW() to do that)
Maybe the easiest tip would be to replace =C-B
by
=INT(C-B)
which would strip the decimals representing the time value.

interesting that my gmail account does work perfectly.

this may or may not help - but give it a try. On a forum some were reporting that talk21 is now under the yahoo umbrella. below are the steps this use listed. (This was an android forum, but the email settings should be the same. In short it looks like their server names have changed. An existing account may have simply been forwarded - but if you are reinstalling, it may want a clean install to the right servers.) Pay particular attention to the server names and port settings. (this thread was started based on a discussion of Imap vs pop - you are already an Imap person - so ignore that part)

why settle for pop3, when IMAP works with talk21 and not only does mail get pushed out faster with IMAP, but when you click refresh it will be received faster than pop3. The other advantage is subfolders are also supported with IMAP but cant be seen with POP3. This mail feature works with my android eclair & hero phone and the settings are exactly the same for win mobiles also (not tested). The mail setting up roadmap is the same from what i can remember once in the mail feature for win mobi.
This is what you need to do to setup Talk21 email with IMAP.
Incoming server settings
IMAP server - imap.mail.yahoo.com
Port - 143
Security type - none
Outgoing Server settings
SMTP server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port - 25
Security type - none Also important note - Enable 'require sign-in'
and enter your talk21 username and password The End...works a treat for me p.s. Its only taken me 3 years to work it out with win mobile and recently with android. Is there anything I can do other than Resetting the entire computer and re installing all of the software, apps, etc.etc.

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
          Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
          Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ First Aid

Action
Followed the notes
1) 633462 :Encryption credit data
2) 662340 : SSF Encryption Using the SAPCrytolib
3) 397175 : SAP Cryptographic Software - Export control
Problem
1. Note 633462 and 662340 is applicable only upto ECC 5.0, so looking for suitable note to do SSF Encrytion Using thr SAPCrytolib in ECC 6.0.
2. The SAP Cryptographic Software available at market place as per note 39175 is valid only upto AIX 5.2 , BUT need software for AIX 5.3.

Seems like the notes (see above) should be updated.
Don`t worry: if a feature was available in a previous version, it will still be working in a subsequent version - at least in the vast majority of all cases.

Accounting formatting of negative values

I have decided to leave Excel far behind, and I am starting to do all my financial analysis on Numbers (which I hope Apple isn't going to ignore, since it's a 4 year old application).
But I'm finding it difficult to do some standard accounting numerical formatting with Numbers. Right now, I'm stuck making negative dollars either with parentheses or in red (or as I usually do it, both). A negative sign, though acceptable in accounting, is rarely used since it's hard to see when scanning a multi-page document.

Apple is VERY CONSISTENT with these controls so once you get more familiar it will not seem as tough. To conditionally format the number use:
Be sure you select the cell(s) you want to format... then set the color based on the value being less than zero. The other way is to select the cell(s) then select the menu item "Format > Show Conditional Format Rules"

Signature disapears from my account.

I have added my signature to my account numerous times but it keeps disappearing when I go to create a new message. The signature chooser says 'none'
What could be happening?

This recently started happening to me as well. On my mobileme account, the default/Choose Signature keeps reverting back to NONE and on my POP account, the signature I have listed keeps disappearing.
Can't really define when exactly this started happening, but it only seems to be on one of my machines.

Mail and ical randomly change internal server settings for exchange account

Ever since upgrading to Lion, I randomly find that my exchange mail account, my exchange calendar account and my exchange address book go offline. When I look at the settings, I find that the internal server settings have been changed from the correct address to the word "sites". Cannot figure this one out. I have deleted and added the accounts numerous times. Cannot find any error messages.
Just wondering if anyone else has every experienced this.

E71 Multiple Email Accounts

Hello all.
I've been relatively happy with my new E71, but have set up two POP3 email accounts on my phone and have run into a major problem sending emails:
My first email account is Gmail set up through POP3 (I prefer to download the entire email, not just the headers, so I set up the POP3 account instead of IMAP).
My second email account is my corporate account. Using Mail for Exchange kept resulting in a HTTP 500 error (which I could not resolve with the IT department or looking online), so I decided to set up a POP3 account to download my work emails.
Both accounts download mail just fine, the problem comes when I try to send email. I get a message (using either POP3 account to send the mail) that "mailbox in use" and it just hangs when I try to send the email.
I have deleted both email accounts numerous times and tried to re-implement them one at a time and find when I have one POP3 account created I don't get this error, it's when I have both accounts created that the error results. It is not related to automatic retrieval, etc. as I get the same error message whether it is activated or not.
Any help would be great!

I just restored a new iPhone from iTunes and now it is continuously asking me for my email passwords. I can receive emails with no issue, but I cannot send any emails.

I've entered my passwords for both email accounts numerous time and it still won't send any email and continuosly asks for the passwords.

Error 72 trying to download adobe CC on Mavericks 10.9.5

I am trying to install adobe CC on Mavericks 10.9.5.
After double clicking the CC installer I am asked my Admin Password and then always get Error 72.
It stops downloading saying the file can't be downloaded...
I have tried the obvious things. I have uninstalled everything related to Adobe and Creative Cloud using the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool (except Premiere Pro CC 2014 - it works and I use it)
I have tried booting in safe mode, tried using a different network connection, tried installing it on a completely new user account, tried downloading the initial file many times. I am not on a managed network and do not have unusual firewalls or anything. I have checked my hosts file. I have checked my GlobalSign Root CA certificate.
I have been trying for months to get this to install. I do not have issue with other downloads or other programs installing/updating.
Every time it fails to download with error 72.
From my research other people have this issue unresolved. Someone did fix it by updating to Yosemite but others have this issue in Yosemite.

Update: Creative Cloud installed but doesn't work - connection error
Adobe techs spent over 3h in my machine remotely. They tried everything they could think of and got not far. This included deleting AAMUpdater and OOBE folders from both Libraries, opening up the permissions on the Adobe folders under both Libraries, turning off firewall, turning off passive FTP, force-quitting the Adobe processes. Re-installing on a brand new user account, numerous re-starts etc.
They did get the Adobe Cloud to install by downloading the whole installer directly, however now, under the Apps tab it says Download Error and lists no apps. I can only assume this is the same communication problem that caused the original error.
I take back what I said about Adobe techs, this time they were competent and thorough. But they couldn't fix it.
I don't have any firewalls, filters or security software running. Trying on the new account took any of the software I usually have running out of the equation. Could there be another 'hosts' type file that could be blocking an Adobe server?

A Google Mail wrong password fix in iOS Mail

This one had me pulling my hair out. I recently decided to update my password for Gmail and once I did it recommended I setup the 2 step verification option. I thought what the heck and did so. I usually look at Gmail in Safari but every now and then turn it on in Apple Mail on my iOS devices. Today when I did on both iPad and iPhone it would not accept my new password. After reinstalling the account, numerous different email attempt, searching Apple Dicussion and all over the web I finally found this and it worked. You need a different "special" 16 character password for each device. Good grief Google.

It isn't just Google. If you set up 2-step verification with Microsoft's mail or Yahoo mail or anyone else that offers it, the issue will be the same. You will need to use an application specific password because the applications (such as Mail) are not designed to prompt for and allow entry of the verification code.

Why can't I sign into Firefox?

I've reset my password several times, but FF still doesn't recognize me. I continually get error messages. FF recognized me one time in the last couple of months and then refused to sync. I thought it might have been my old Windows XP, but I now have Windows 7 and I'm still getting log in error messages even after resetting my password. I tried to retrieve my user name, in case that was the problem, but FF doesn't send the information even though it says the information was sent. Please send the link to reset or retrieve my user name.

I was able to sign in today, but I haven't been able to sync my FF features on either my old computer, which had previously run FF without any problem prior to the last update, or my new computer. I get a message that it will sync shortly, but nothing ever happens. There's no menu bar or any of the add-ons I've used for several years. The only thing appearing on a toolbar is "most visited" and "getting started". I've tried syncing the account numerous times. IE had no problem syncing my account preferences on the new computer, nor did Chrome. My security program doesn't indicate it's blocking anything from FF. I've run out of ideas.
No screenshot since I was able to sign in today. I'm not using Master Password. It's just the Sync Service that's a problem.

Gmail with iOS4

After updating to version 4 of the OS, I had anomalous behavior in Mail with my (IMAP) Gmail account: numerous messages dated 12/31/69 showing "No Subject" and "No Content" that could not be deleted, and no display of newly received messages.
Deleting the Gmail account in Mail and setting it up again seems to have solved the problem for me, at least for the moment.

.mac keeps randomly changing my email address

Every couple of months I get a message saying that I have to give my password for keychains to get my mail. When I go into the accounts part of mail, I notice that the info has changed...particularly my email address. I have set up new accounts numerous times (for the same email address), but then a few months later the info in accounts is changed again.
Any clues on how to keep it from changing?

I am being logged out of these forums every time I restart my browser, and this seems to be related to the fact that my Adobe ID is not an email address. This happens using different browsers, in Mac and Win machines, and with three different ISPs. Unortunately, I have been unable to change my ID to an email address, even though I have changed my email address several times and using different browsers and machines. The changes are accepted but, despite the many warnings, my Adobe ID is unaffected by changes of my email address.
When I am logged out, on entering these forums I am welcomed thus:
