  • File to Jdbc: how to get record count from DB table

    Hello,
i have a scenario file to JDBC....ihave to insert input file data to DB table.
now my requirement is ..if i insert a file with 50 records to db table on first time, and then next time if i insert the file with 100 records to db table....the count should start from 51 in db table.
if i insert another file 3rd time, with 25 records, the count shold start from 151...so how can i achieve this functionality....
    i think following options:
    1. in mapping write lookup to call JDBC sender channel and fetch count and map same to target filed of DB. if this is ok...please provide UDF code..2. db triggers (not suitable for my req.)
So kindly let meknow possible solutions and required UDF codes..please
    Thanks in advance...SARAN

    i think following options:
    Suggestions:
1)Create an id column in db table.  Talk to DB guy to create oracle sequencer for that column. So, every time you insert record that field will be updated with oracle sequencer. You dont need to handle this.
    Refer this link
    http://www.techonthenet.com/oracle/sequences.php
    2) If you want to handle via pi,  following suggestions..
If you use PI 7.1 or above, use jdbc lookup in the mapping and do the query  something like this
    Refer this link
    /people/jin.shin/blog/2008/02/15/sap-pi-71-mapping-enhancements-series-graphical-support-for-jdbc-and-rfc-lookups
    Do select query as below
    select count(*) from tablename;
the above query will return number of rows exist in the table. So use that value and map it in the target field.
If you use pi 7.0 or below then use the previous reply and do the UDF implementation for jdbc lookup during mapping. Because jdbc lookup does not support in those versions.
    Hope that helps.

  • Add Line Number To A PLD

    Hi,
I need your help about an issue on a General Ledger PLD.
I need to add the line number of each journal entry line printed in the repetitive section on the PLD.
Is there any way to do it ?
    Thank you in advance,
    Best Regards,

    Hi,
This PLD has all system variables only. You may not add any fields to it. Only customized report by yourself may meet your need.
    Thanks,

  • Inaccurate line number in C++ warning message

Compiling the following code snippet with SS11 or SS12 C++ compiler creates a warning which obviously carries wrong or inaccurate line number information:
    # cat warn.C
    class Test {
      public:
        Test(int);
        int var1;
    Test::Test(int var1) {
    //             ^^^^
       this->var1 = var1;
// and now, for something completely different...It says:
    # CC -c warn.C
    "warn.C", line 13: Warning: var1 hides Test::var1.
1 Warning(s) detected.line 13 is the comment at the end of the file. The right line would probably be 7 (as marked by ^^^^).
I know that it's just a warning, but it should be accurate though.
    Thanks,
    Jochen

Yes, the compiler should do better in providing the line number.
Please file a bug report on the C++ compiler at

  • Safari 6.0 Web Inspector CSS line number

Please add the line number of the class or id on the css web inspector.
The old version has the line number in front of the class
The new one doesnt, to see it you need too put the cursor on the little arrow and shows the path on a tooltip. Please change this like the other version.

would anybody plz help me regarding this.
    Thanks
    Hassan

I checked your suggestions after week end today and found that
the suggestion of Nalla did not provide the result in my required format
    rewrite it as l_email_text := l_email_text||CHR(10)||l_exm_text;
    Peter & Krithika:
I used html tag <BR> when and where needed and its gave me result in my required format
    e.g.: l_exm_text := l_exm_text ||'<br>'||rec_examined_ctrs.category ||': '||
    rec_examined_ctrs.total;
Now I want to know if there any html tag thru which I can define the column number so that my text will start from there.
means any html tag replacement of lpad (oracle funtion):
    Thanks

  • Link between Delivery schedule line counter from PO and the material docume

    Dear Gurus,
I have one PO with single line item having delivery schedule -
    Material 1 -
    delivery schedule 01.01.2009     2000
                                                         01.03.2009    5000
I have received quantity against this Po
I want to know where I can find the link between Delivery schedule line counter from PO and the material document
    Best regards
    Sar

There is no link from the MAterial document line item (Table Mseg) to the PO Schedule Line (EKET).
If this is for Evaluating an on time delivery or GR, you may consider the following approach.
    PO details Po Date  QTY
    Sch1   01Jun2009   200
    SCH2  08Jun2009   100
    GR Details
    GR1   01Jun2009   180
    GR2   07Jun2009   110
    GR3  09Jun2009      10
Calculate a *** total qty for the PO Line.
PO details Po Date  CUMUL QTY
    Sch1   01Jun2009   200
    SCH2  08Jun2009   300
Calculate a *** total qty for the ontime GR.
PO details Po Date  CUMUL PO QTY  CUMUL GR on time
    Sch1   01Jun2009   200                180
    SCH2  08Jun2009   300                 290 (180+110)  the 3rd GR was too late
Evaluate the PO SChedule Lines as follows:
Po SCL qty + CUMUL GR QTY - CUMUL PO QTY = ADJ GR ON Time Qty
    SCH1 01Jun2009
    200 + 180 - 200 = 180 on time for 01Jun2009 date ( 90% fill rate)
    SCH2 08Jun2009
100 + 290 - 300 = 90 on time for 08Jun2009 date (90 % fill rate) the first 20 of the GR on 07Jun2009 went to fill the late, early date.
    Best of luck !
    SCH2 100 +290 - 300 = 90 on time for 07Jun2009 date

  • How to add header line in a file from XI system using file adapters

    Hi All,
I need to add header line (Column names) in a file coming from XI system.
    I am using file adapters.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Gaurav Mittal

The Receiver File Adapter is configured, using the following settings:
    1) Choose File Content Conversion as the Message Protocol.
    2) You give the ‘addHeaderLine’ parameter as 1
    3) For the ‘fieldSeparator’ parameter you need to give field separator for both list and substructure (referring to the data type above). For eg: it may be a ‘,’ (comma) for substructure in a comma separated file.
    4) The ‘endSeparator’ parameter needs to given for substructure only. For eg: it may be a ‘nl’ (new line)
    5) Give the file name, the directory and the Construction mode. Activate all the settings. Receiver File Adapter with F.C.C. is configured.

Anyone know which render format I should use, my film will be used on a video wall (12 screens) and I need super quality. My footage format is 1080p HD resolution 1920x1080. I will be running the project from a mac with a direct line to video wall. Thanks in advance.

I do some VJ-type work, involving playback of QuickTime files from the computer to projections, and I get good results using ProRes 422. That's convenient, because ProRes 422 is such a great editing codec, too.
Traditionally, VJs use PhotoJPEG codec, which also works well, but it's a bad editing codec. So you would have to export an edited master, then convert.
If you want it to look as good as possible, definitely schedule some time to test the footage on the wall. You may want to change the color correction of your footage to match the projectors. And if you feed the video wall some flat gray, you can see if any of the projectors need to be  adjusted.
I'm not sure what application you're using for playback, but QuickTime Player 7 works well. It has an option to play fullscreen on an external monitor (View > Present Movie…).

    Hi ,
User Exits In Sales Document Processing
This IMG step describes additional installation-specific processing in sales document processing. In particular, the required INCLUDES and user exits are described.
    Involved program components
System modifications for sales document processing affect different areas. Depending on the modification, you make the changes in the program components provided:
    MV45ATZZ
For entering metadata for sales document processing. User-specific metadata must start with "ZZ".
    MV45AOZZ
For entering additional installation-specific modules for sales document processing which are called up by the screen and run under PBO (Process Before Output) prior to output of the screen. The modules must start with "ZZ".
    MV45AIZZ
For entering additional installation-specific modules for sales document processing. These are called up by the screen and run under PAI (Process After Input) after data input (for example, data validation). The modules must start with "ZZ".
    MV45AFZZ and MV45EFZ1
For entering installation-specific FORM routines and for using user exits, which may be required and can be used if necessary. These program components are called up by the modules in MV45AOZZ or MV45AIZZ.
User exits in the program MV45AFZZ
The user exits which you can use for modifications in sales document processing are listed below.
    USEREXIT_DELETE_DOCUMENT
This user exit can be used for deleting data which was stored in a separate table during sales document creation, for example, if the sales document is deleted.
For example, if an additional table is filled with the name of the person in charge (ERNAM) during order entry, this data can also be deleted after the sales order has been deleted.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine BELEG_LOESCHEN shortly before the routine BELEG_SICHERN.
    USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION
This user exit can be used to modify the attributes of the screen fields.
To do this, the screen fields are allocated to so-called modification groups 1 - 4 and can be edited together during a modification in ABAP. If a field has no field name, it cannot be allocated to a group.
The usage of the field groups (modification group 1-4) is as follows:
Modification group 1: Automatic modification with transaction MFAW
Modification group 2: It contains 'LOO' for step loop fields
Modification group 3: For modifications which depend on check tables or on other fixed information
Modification group 4: is not used
The FORM routine is called up for every field of a screen. If you require changes to be made, you must make them in this user exit.
This FORM routine is called up by the module FELDAUSWAHL.
See the Screen Painter manual for further information on structuring the interface.
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields at sales document header level. It is described in the section "Transfer of the customer master fields into the sales document".
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine VBAK_FUELLEN.
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields at sales document item level. It is described in the section "Copy customer master fields into the sales document".
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine VBAP_FUELLEN.
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields at the level of the sales document schedule lines.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine VBEP_FUELLEN.
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBKD
Use this user exit to assign values to new fields for business data of the sales document. It is described in the section "Copy customer master fields into sales document".
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine VBKD_FUELLEN.
    USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE
Use this user exit to define the number ranges for internal document number assignment depending on the required fields. For example, if you want to define the number range depending on the sales organization (VKORG) or on the selling company (VKBUR), use this user exit.
The user exit is called up in the FORM routine BELEG_SICHERN.
    USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK
Use this user exit if you want to include and assign a value to an additional header field in the communication structure KOMK taken as a basis for pricing.
    USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP
Use this user exit if you want to include or assign a value to an additional item field in the communication structure KOMP taken as a basis for pricing.
    USEREXIT_READ_DOCUMENT
You use this user exit if further additional tables are to be read when importing TA01 or TA02.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine BELEG_LESEN.
    USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT
Use this user exit to fill user-specific statistics update tables.
The user exit is called up by the FORM routine BELEG-SICHERN before the COMMIT command.
    Note
If a standard field is changed, the field r185d-dataloss is set to X. The system queries this indicator at the beginning of the safety routine. This is why this indicator must also be set during the maintenance of user-specific tables that are also to be saved.
    USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
Use this user exit to make certain changes or checks immediately before saving a document. It is the last possibility for changing or checking a document before posting.
The user exit is carried out at the beginning of the FORM routine BELEG_SICHERN.
User exits in the program MV45AFZA
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMKD

    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMPD
Use this user exit to include or assign values to additional item fields in the communication structure KOMPD taken as a basis for the material determination. This is described in detail in the section "New fields for material determination".
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMKG
Use this user exit to include or assign values to additional fields in the communication structure KOMKG taken as a basis for material determination and material listing. This is described in detail in the section "New fields for listing/exclusion".
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_KOMPG
Use this user exit to include or assign values to additional fields in the communication structure KOMPG taken as a basis for material determination and material listung. This is described in detail in the section "New fields for listing/exclusion".
    USEREXIT_REFRESH_DOCUMENT
With this user exit, you can reset certain customer-specific fields as soon as processing of a sales document is finished and before the following document is edited.
For example, if the credit limit of the sold-to party is read during document processing, in each case it must be reset again before processing the next document so that the credit limit is not used for the sold-to party of the following document.
The user exit is executed when a document is saved if you leave the processing of a document with F3 or F15.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine BELEG_INITIALISIEREN.
    User-Exits in program MV45AFZB

    User exits in the screens
Additional header data is on screen SAPMV45A 0309, additional item data on screen SAPMV45A 0459. These screens contain the Include screens SAPMV45A 8309 or SAPMV45A 8459 as user exits.
Fields which are also to be included in the sales document for a specific installation should be included on the Include screens for maintaining. If an application-specific check module is needed for the fields, this can be included in the Include MV45AIZZ. The module is called up in the processing logic of the Include screens.
For field transports, you do not have to make changes or adjustments.
    Example
A new field, VBAK-ZZKUN, should be included in table VBAK.
If the check is defined via the Dictionary (fixed values or check table) the field must be included with the fullscreen editor in the Include screen SAPMV45A 8309. In this case, no change has to be made to the processing logic.
    User Exits in Program MV45AFZ4

  • Putting Category Counts in a Tool Tip on a Line Chart -SQL Server 2008 R2

I have a line chart report that shows the total number of tickets processed each month. Within the same recordset is the data of who processed the ticket.  So I want to add in the ToolTip on the Datapoints the number of tickets processed  by each
persion.  There are just a few people.
So the line chart will have a datapoint at 20, but Joe did 5 and Jim did 15. What expression would I put in the tooltip? I even added datavalues for the Names and hid the data on the chart.  I am just not sure how to reference or write the expression
that says  joe has 5 and jim has 15 in the ToolTip.  Then I would want an "Other" with all Rogues not Jim or Joe.
    Example of Data
    Ticket #  DATE_REPORTED  ASSIGNEE_FULL_NAME
    1  2013-01-16 08:31:28.000  Joe
    2  2013-01-17 07:01:23.000  Jim
    3  2013-02-04 17:42:23.000   Jim
    4  2013-02-04 18:42:23.000   Bill
    Thanks in advance.
    DBA Developer

    Hi Paul,
As per my understanding, if we want to display some detail information depend on one field, we should add a group on that filed ahead. In your scenario, we should add a Category group or Series group in the chart, then write an expression to display the
detail information. While, if we additional add a group in the chart, the chart would showed with other manners. It will be different from the original chart. So, I think we cannot directly achieve the goal at the moment.
As a workaround, I suggest we can create another report to only display the detail information, then add a drill through action in the main report to jump to that report when we click the line. For more details, please refer to the following steps:
Drag a Line Chart on the design surface of the new report.
Insert [Count(Ticket__)] in the Values pane.
Insert the expression below as the Category Group Label expression and Group expression:
    =format(Fields!DATE_REPORTED.Value,"MM")
Insert the expression below as the Series Group Label expression and Group expression:
    =iif(Fields!ASSIGNEE_FULL_NAME.Value="Joe",Fields!ASSIGNEE_FULL_NAME.Value,iif(Fields!ASSIGNEE_FULL_NAME.Value="Jim",Fields!ASSIGNEE_FULL_NAME.Value,"Others"))
In the main report, right-click the line to open Series Properties dialog box.
Click Action in the left pane, enable Go to Report, then specify the new report name in the drop-down report.
If we want to see the detail information, we can click the line in the main report, it navigates to the new report. Then we can click “Back to Parent Report” action to return to the main report.
    Hope this helps.
