Create a list of section under a department

Hi,
I am new. Can someone tell me how to create a list of different sections under a department. e.g. I have English department and under that, after clicking on the English Icon, users can see 3 other sections such as Eng 1, Eng 2 and Eng 3.

Hmmm ... not sure I'm following you exactly.
You have a site ... and a site can have "sections". Inside a section, you can have "divisions" and "courses". Inside "divisions", you can have "sections". "Courses" contain "groups" ... and groups look like tabs in iTunes. Lemme put that another way ...
A "site" contains "sections".
A "section" contains "divisions" or "courses".
A "division" contains "sections".
A "course" contains "groups".
A "group" contains "tracks".
What I'm not sure about is what you're mapping "department" to in that scheme.

Is there a way to create a new section under "Library"?

iTunes lists several sections/divisions under the heading "Library" (Music, Movies, Books, Apps, etc), but I have a lot of audio (and a few video) recordings of speeches that I would like to put in a division of their own, preferably called "Talks". Is there a way of creating such a section/division? Better still is there any hope that iTunes would ever come with such a division? I can't believe that I'm the only one who collects interesting talks.
(Just to be sure that I'm being clear, I am NOT asking how to use an "alternate iTunes Library". I want a new section within the exisiting Library. BTW, I know how to use playlists, but I don't want talks mixed in with Music or audiobooks.)

One thing I notice is that both sections sort on Newest vs Oldest which makes sense for such things. But I'd rather sort on titles. Ah, well, ya can't have everything. (Can you?)

I accomplished what I needed last night. I remembered I had picked my favorite images from each year and put them in a "favorite" folder by year. These folders included 500 to 1200 images per year. I pulled up the folder for each year and highlighted all images and clicked on "Keywords" and all keywords used for all images were listed. I made those keywords persistent. It took me a while to realize I had to click on each keyword to make it persistent. After doing this for all years, I assume 95% of all keywords I have used over the many years were back in my list. I'm sure there is probably a more "technical" way to accomplish what I needed, but this seems to have worked. I also exported my list into a word document and is saved on my hard drive.
If I had not made folders with my favorite images for each year, I could not have used this method, so if you figure out a better way, I like to hear it. Thanks for your comments and willingness to help.

ITunes created a second podcast section in my library, but my iPod can only sync with one

I've tried searching for something related to this, so apologies if this has been covered already.
Under "Library" on the lefthand side of iTunes I have

Movies
Podcasts
Podcasts
Itunes U
Books
Note that there are now two listings for podcasts. I have no idea how this happened. I've been using iTunes on this Mac, subscribing to podcasts, for just short of five years. Yesterday I was downloading some new items as podcasts from Librivox.org -- something I have done before, including in recent days -- and the new items unexpectedly went into the (just then created) second podcast section under "library". Not surprisingly, my iPod will only recognize one podcast section (happens to be the newer one).
Again, though this happened while at librivox.org, I have downloaded stuff from them clicking on the same things before, including just a day or two ago, and this never happened before.
1) How do I get all podcasts into one folder so I can choose from my whole library of podcasts when syncing with my iPod?
2) If item 1 above is not possible, at least how can I prevent this from happening again?

Need checkboxes in PDF that create a list of those items later in the same PDF

Hi Folks,
I create PDF travel guides in indesing and turn them into PDF. I also have Acrobat.
For each location in the travel guide I would like to have a checkbox available on the page, next to the title, that a reader could check if they decide they want to visit that location/activity. Then, those title results would populate a list in the same PDF eBook, in something like a notes section in the end of the document, so that the user has an easy list to view of what they decided to visit. They should be able to uncheck them later so that they can create new lists.
Is this possible in a PDF?

Sure it's possible. The easiest way to set this up would be to set the text you want associated with each check box as the export value of the check box, and set up a multiline text field in the notes section with a custom calculation script. It might look something like this:

This script assumes the check boxes are named checkbox1, checkbox2, ...checkbox10, so you'd have to modify to match your form. The field's calculate script will get triggered whenever any field value changes, so it will get updated each time a check box is selected or deselected.

How do I creat a list of records. I can't use an array because the groupings have different number of records and the records have different data types. For example
a record consists of a group, section, and a task/test. How do I create a list of these for me to process and report on downstream in my application?

Make an array of clusters. (This is going to get complicated, so I am
making a list)
On the FRONT PANEL:
1.Make a cluster
2.Make 3 arrays of strings labeled group array, section array, and
task/test array, then drag these arrays into the cluster listed
above.(I suggest strings because they can pass text and numbers
easily)
3.Make an array, then drag the cluster listed above into this array.
This will now make n copies of your cluster, each one having it's own
trio of arrays inside.
If for intance, a particular case has more than 1 task/test, start
listing the tasks in task/test array. Then when you finally unbundle
the arrays, do whatever you need to do until each array is empty.
Remember that making arrays and clusters eats up large amounts of
memory quickly, so this will probably slow the computer down.

No Advanced section under site settings?

I am trying to set up a POP/IMAP email account and there is no Advanced section under the site settings. Also, I keep getting this message " Your email is configured with an external provider. If you want to create E-Mail accounts you need to change your E-Mail settings. " Yet when I click on the button to go to make the change, it just directs me back to the Site Settings screen with no instruction on what to change! Help!

If you are using Third party email services, get MX records settings from your email provider and add it to Site Settings-> Site Domain, as explained here,

I think that all you need to do is to look at how I implemented the dependent detail for querying the Employees select items
Then you make sure the DepartmentsVO and the EmployeesVO have bind variable to query them according to the pre-selected value in their respective master list

Error when creating cache list

We have installed SAP PI 7.1 on AIX 5.3.
When we check Data cache Overview (RWB-- Administration) we are getting an error "Error when creating cache list"
Also
While trying to Test Cache Connectivity Test under RWB--->Component Monitoring,
we are facing the below issue "Cache notification from Integration Directory failed: Error when notifying cache receiver Unable to notify integration runtime (Java) of data changes
For input string: "ngsvawrk211.uk.corporg.net" Attempt to fetch cache data from Integration Directory not yet started or still in process".
Please help me to resovle this issue.

CHaRM : unable to create Task List

Hi All,
we are trying to configure Charm in our Solman 7.0 sp16.
when i create a project and and click on "Create Task List" under SystemLandscapte>>ChangeRequests Tab
error "The Project is not released. Hence cycle cannot be released.
Now when i click on the check button. the following errors are displayed
Check Logical Components
        No Consolidation System found for XXX-XXX(SM2-200) (Project Charm_Test)
        +No Tract for Project Charm_test with log. system SM2/200
Check Consistency of project CHARM_TEST
      + CTS Projects in production systems for project CHARM_TEST+
can anyone help me out here.

This issue is because of Solution Manger TMS is not configured properly.

Better use SPRO to configure STMS, Just follow SPRO step by step process.
SPRO->SAP Solution Manager->Configuration->Scenario-Specific Settings->Change Management
->Change Request Management->Standard Configuration->Transport Mnaagement System(TMS)
1. Do you try to activate ChaRM for any satellite system landscape(DEV->QAS->PRD?
OR
2. Do you try to test ChaRM in Solution Manager itself(SM100(DEV)->SM200(QAS)->SM300(PRD)?
If your test belongs to point 2, then follow the blog that i mentioned above. It gives a step by step details.
Note:
1. For anycase, DEV to QAS should be consolidation route and QAS to PRD should be delivery route.
2. SM TMS should have SAP transport layer as well as atleast one customized transport layer.
3. ChaRM supports only client specific transport management system.
Let me know if you need more help on this.

I don't have a "create new list" button in the reminder list when i press edit

I tried to create a new reminder list, I open the reminder app, under Lists, i pressed the 3 bar symbol on the upper right hand corner, then i pressed edit, but there is neither the delete button () nor the "create new list" button. Can someone tell me how to get the create new list button?

I had that problem too!
Do you have a hotmail account that you have connected to?
Because I do and I couldn't make a new reminder list!!
But I fixed it by going to settings and going to mail, contacts and calendar and then under "accounts" i went to Mail and then slided the little dot for reminders to off.
This fixed it for me, hopefully for you too!

Error while creating request list Unable to detect the SAP system directory

We are upgrading SAP BW (NW 7.0 EHP1) to SAP BW (NW 7.3)
source OS: Windows 2008 R2, source DB: MSSQL server 2008 R2 SP1 CU3
I had started the upgrade by running: STARTUP.BAT
I had started the DSUGui on the server (CI / DB on the same server) from: D:\usr\sap\BP1\upg\sdt\exe\DSUGui.bat
I ran both programs (run as administrators).
Once SAP Gui connects and was able to create userid/ password and when ready to start the initialization phase (click next)
gives me the error
Error while creating request list - see preceeding messages. Unable to detect the SAP system directory on the local host
I had tried STARTUP.BAT "jce_policy_zip=Z:\export-import\downloads\jce_policy-6' and still the same error.
I had started DSUGui.bat with trace and the trace file contents are
