Create a new EngineProvider for bea Netio

Question

Hello, I want to implement an CEP adapter using UDP. To do that I created a new Netio EngineProvider an ConnectionProvider classes implementing com.bea.core.netio.spi.EngineProvider and com.bea.core.netio.spi.ConnectionProvider interfaces. Then using config.xml I declared the netio configuration:

where com.mypackage.MyUdpEngine is my EngineProvider provider implementation. My question is:
Where i need to place my jar file to be readinf by weblogic, so netio can instanciate my new class?
one more question I tried to create my Jar as an OSGI bundle but for some reason the netio bundle does not declare com.bea.core.netio.spi as exported package, then I cannot create my jar as an osgi bundle, just as a plain jar file. There is any reason for keep this interfaces private for the other bundles?

Hi,
As Andy pointed out, the NETIO SPI interface is not public, hence you can only make use of the built-in providers: default, non-blocking, blocking, native.
For UDP, you may want to look at Sun's NIO implementation.
