Create a popup window in a portal

Hi all,
how to create a popup window when clicked on a role in portal, the iview contains the 4 regions or clients as radio buttons, when i click on radio button, the perticular iview or region should hold and trigger the perticular region or client RFC
i hope u people know this, tell me step by step in doing this

Hi charan,
You can set the property "Launch in New window" of the particular iview which needs to be open on click of the radio button as" Display in seperate headerless portal window".

I have a column named owner_id(number) .
My requirement is to display the owner name and in the future I want to allow creation of a new owner from this page, .So i have used an
[ Popup Key LOV (Displays description, returns key value)] for the time being which displays name(Description in other table)
I need to create a popup window that allows creation of the owner and writes the entity_id(owner_id) back to this page.

Hello All,
Iam using EP 7.0 SP19. I used Lightweight desktop for the user and assigned default home role. I am getting a popup window in the right top corner with the message as below "Closing Session". I checked that using HTTP Watch, its loading the DSM Terminator Component. How to avoid the popup window ?
It will appear while I am clicking the role and also Logoff. Once whole page refresh means, popup will appeared.
Please help me for this.

I have a requirement to show a popup window for a column in a table region. I have column which contains the XML data. Once i click on the particular data, the whole XML data should come in a small popup window.
I should not navigate to another page. I should see the data in the same page in a small popup window.

In R12 whe have a properties "Popup id" , Popup enabled for the item.
You can create a new region and you can map that region to the item popup id and Popup enabled "true".

hi, i would like to create a small popup once a button is clicked
this small window does not need to have anything apart from displaying a message, say for example "button clicked"
i remember there is a very simple way to do so, by which i can create a small window and has a default "ok" button on it, and also on the left side of the smal popup there can bean icon, either set to warning or infor. what is that object class called please? really cant remember and cant find out....

I know that this question's been asked already and I read all the postings, but I still can't work out how to do this (I must be really stupid).
Any sample code how to make this Popup class work will be highly appreciated. All I need is a small dialog that allows the user to enter a value in a text box and then to close that dialog. JOptionPane is not good enough as it does not support a password field.
