Create & export Data objects work untill form is distributed

I have a form with a button's click even I run
event.target.createDataObject(cName,CValue)
event.target.exportDataObject(cName,nLaunch)
When I test this in preview it works.
When I test by opening the pdf pre distribution it works.
when I distribute the form  and open it with Acrobat pro test the button I get:
NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.

  • Posting Document not created (export data missing)

    We are working on ECC 6.0 and during creation of Cancellation Billing document type IVS for the Intercompany billing, the document did not create Accounting document giving the Posting status as G - Posting document not created (export data missing). However checked the Foreign trade data and the system states that Foreign trade is complete.
    Can any one suggest the solution for this?
    Thanks.

    Hello Mohammad,
    About this issue, the incompletion of this cancellation document
    arises might because the reference delivery has been archived/deleted.
    This is likely due to your current copy control settings (VTFL).
    If you have set ' ', in the export determination field this means that
    there is a common 'exnum' key between the delivery and billing documents
    LIKP-EXNUM & VBRK-EXNUM are the same.
    The result of deleting the delivery is that you also delete the FT data
    for the delivery, Because the billing document and delivery share the
    same foreign trade table entries, you have in effect deleted the FT data
    of the billing document too. This would most likely go unnoticed but if
    you then cancel the invoice the system has no FT to copy into the new
    cancellation billing document, which leads to this issue.
    Firstly you should set the export determination flag in the copy control
    of the delivery & billing documents. This will avoid this issue in the
    future. Set it to to 'A' or 'B' depending on your requirements.
    For the incomplete cancellation billing document, you could use userexit to
    set it as complete:
    You can use transaction CMOD.
    Create a project for example FT project button create short text: ....
    drop button Enhancement assignment & save use for example local object.
    Use the F4-help for Enhancement and look for V50EPROP.
    Drop button Components:
    here you will find EXIT_SAPLV50E_005 and EXIT_SAPLV50E_006
    In the userexits doubleclick on the includes ZXV50U05 and ZXV50U06
    The coding in the userexits should be: C_COMPLETE = 'X'.
    Afterwards activate generate ... and save.
    The development class is VEI.
    Please also check note 118573 which explains the FT user exits.

  • Populate BAM data object through adf form.

    I want to populate a BAM data object using adf form as we do in case of database table by creating a data control. How to do this?

    Hi Simanta
    1. I am seeing lot of posts from you regarding this Java to BAM Data Objects integration.
    2. What exactly are you trying to do. Dataobjects are very tightly coupled with actual Database component that is used to create that like Table or View etc.
    3. Best way is. Create a data object. Export that DataObject using "icommand". See docs for this command usage.It generate a pure .XML file with all the details like DataObject name, external referenced Database details (datasource name), external Table or View details. Then mapping for EACH column on this object and that database stuff. Just see the xml file, Its pretty straight forward. When you Export Reports also, it creates an XML File exactly like this only but with more details like all column Formatting information etc etc. Export one Report also and see that xml 4. file.
    4. Both above XML Files are stored in ORABAM Schema. Tables of interest are :SysIterDataset, SysIterParameter, SysIterParameterValue, SysIterReport etc.
    5. Oracle do NOT expose any Public APIs to handle above stuff. But if you really really want, you can always manipulate XML content and reload to those columns any time. Need to add few query parameters to get exact row like ReportId, or DataObject Id which are just PKs etc.
    Still, I am curious why and what is the usecase where you want to do all this from Java code. Because DataObject is a one time thing. And note that it is used in Report. So if you modify data object like remove a column, then Report will die.
    By the way, all the WebServices exposed may be for ReadOnly purposes. I am not sure if you have services to modify them.
    Thanks

  • Looking for a solution or service to export data from a dynamic form into a database

    As the title of this discussion states, I'm looking for a solution or service to export data from a dynamic form into a database to be used for reporting. Creating the dynamic form is not a problem, it's getting it into a database that's more of a nuisance. A dynamic form is needed in order to provide skip logic, hide/reveal, and other similar dynamic features.
    The database hasn't been created, so just looking for the easiest, more effective and dependable solution. The key is being able to run reports off the data later.

    So i set up 2 residential grade routers to test this out. Seems to be working okayish. I believe with directional antenae routers I should achieve what I need.
    As for security I configured each device separately. I set them so only allow the MAC address of the other through wireless. This seems to be the best system for me. Once they are connected even if a MAC is spoofed of the other router it drops automatically because they are always connected. My wired devices get plugged in and recieve an IP from my main network.
    There more testing to be done, but it seems to be working.
    Thanks for your input and suggestions guys. I will be marking this topic as answered.

  • Creating a Date object using an existing date object of different format

    I am stuck in a problem while converting the date formats:
    I have a date object in the format "yyyy-MM-dd" (e.g., 2009-08-21). And i want to create a date object in the format "MM/dd/yyyy" (e.g., 08/21/2009)
        String s = oldDate.toString(); SimpleDateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("MM/dd/yyyy"); Date newDate = formatter.parse(s);
    the above code gives parse Exception:
        java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: "2009-08-21"
    Any Clues ?

    my apologies for putting it into a wrong forum. Anyways thanks for the pointer.
    But i still feel that if i somehow get the desired Date object i can get through the problem. Something like this:
         public Date getdOJ() {
              Date oldDate = this.dOJ;
              SimpleDateFormat oldFormatter = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-mm-dd");
              Date newDate;
              try {
                               String s = oldDate.toString();
                               SimpleDateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("MM/dd/yyyy");
                               Date newDate = formatter.parse(s);
              } catch (ParseException e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();
              return newDate;
         }Unfortunately i am getting java.text.ParseException

  • Export data from a scanned form.

    Hello
    I have several forms that users will fill out and email back.  The data can then be extracted using Adobe's forms tools.  However, at times the form is returned either on paper or scanned.
    Is there a way to extract the data from the scanned form?  I am reading something about templates--I am not sure if that is the way I need to go.  I only want to extract the data-such as name, address, etc.  I am not wanting to convert to another format, such as word, etc.
    If someone could direct me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
    Thank you in advance for your assistance!
    I am using Adobe Acrobat Professional XI and LiveCycle Designer.  Some of the forms are developed in Adobe, some in LiveCycle Designer.

    Not in the same way. Printing and then scanning a form causes it to lose
    all metadata, including the field objects.
    The only way to do it at that point is to run OCR and then use a script
    that looks for the data in the same locations where the fields used to be,
    and export what it finds. This is not a simple task, though, and it's
    likely the results will not be 100% correct.

  • OIM 11g R1: Exporting data object permissions

    Hi all,
    Does anyone know if there is anyway to export/import data object permissions on roles?
    They don't seem to be exported with the role, or with role and organization metadata. Have I missed something?
    Thanks!

    What kind of DataObject permissions are you exporting ?
    Permissions are always associated with some OIM Components. When you export that component then it will be exported Automatically.

  • Should I use both GetList and  GetDetail for creating a Data Object?

    Hello, all.
    At first, Thanks for your interesting.
    1. I wounder that  I can make a BAPI Wrapper as Data Object using only GetList.
    When I make a BAPI Wrapper as Data Object using only GetList, SAP shows me a message.
    The message says Data Object can have one root node only (hierarchy = 1 ).
    It means I should use both GetList and  GetDetail.
    I understand that.
    If i need to use only GetList, is there any way?
    Thanks for your interesting again.

    Hi
    I think you are trying to import BAPI wrapper as data object and you are using only "Getlist" BAPI.
    In such case, the data object created will have only root node. i.e Hierarchy =1.
    This is becuse the GetList BAPI has only the info about root node.(i.e, table parameter).
    If you have multiple tables in BE and you want to create a DO with multiple node(hierarchy >1) using BAPI wrapper import, then you have to use "GetDetail" BAPI along with GetList.

  • Export data to anothe PDF form

    Hello all,
    I have a research company that needs to keep track of all patients we see by entering their initials, date of visit, date of birth and some other simple data in a cumulative log (a PDF form). When the patient comes to our site we gather this information in a PDF form that will become their record. Is there a way to create a button that exports some of the information from each specific patient's record to the cumulative log?
    Thanks for you help
    Regards
    Gustavo Canelon

    Yes it is posible
    You can submit the Acrobat form data to a database.
    You can also look at that database with a pdf form.
    But it is easier to look at the database with MS Access or a HTML form.

  • How do I export data object reference?

    Hello,
    I have a reference variable declared as below -
    DATA: go_myobject TYPE REF TO cl_gos_manager.
    This should be made available in another program. Export statement gives an error stating go_myobject cannot be or contain a reference.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks,
    Sita.

    Hi Sita,
    Let's assume your program name in ZTEST and you written below code.
    DATA: go_myobject.TYPE REF TO cl_gos_manager.
    CREATE OBJECT go_myobject.
    And have access methods of go_myobject.
    If you want to access reference of go_myobject of program ZTEST from other program and your program ZTEST would available in Stack which I assumed your case. You can access reference by get variable (ZTEST)go_myobject from other programs.
    Hope this helps.
