Created executable file problem

Hi everyone
I'm using NXT toolkit with my Labview 2010. Now I'm trying to built the executable file from my VI. My VI is pretty simple consists of 1 motor and 1 Knob as controller. I used the usb for the connection between pc and NXT brick. I attached the VI and the exe file below.
However, after successful built, the executable file seems like doesn't connect to the NXT motor. I mean even I move the Knob, there are nothing changes in the motor.
I found this link http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/522DF60F5531EA02862574F60074525A . In my case, however, I'm using USB instead of bluetooth and actually, I can't find the NXTToolkit.BluetoothLibraryReferences.vi in my pc. Therefore, I don't know how solve this hard problem.
Please help me to overcome this problem.
Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for your comment
That is the good sound for me while the NXT direct I/O is supported. I'm trying to use the motor unlimited in NXT Direct I/O. Howerver, I'm not familiar with using that. Therefore, my VI couldn't connect with the motor.
I attached the VI below. Please help me consider it and indicate the problem.
Please let me know if any clarification is needed of my issue.
Thank you so much and looking forward to hearing from you
Best regards

  • How to add dll file in a Jar to create executable file

    Hi All!
I have one Java file which use one Jar file & three dll file.
I create jar file as described in java tutorial
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/deployment/jar/appman.html
    1) I created Manifiest.txt by writting :
    Class-Path: C:\Flasher\jflashtrial\JFlash.jar
    Main-Class: Flaher2
    2) I create jar file by:
    jar cfm MyJar.jar Manifest.txt *.class
    It create MyJar.jar successfully.
After that I used Jar2Exe Wizard to create Myjar.exe
It also create MyJar.exe file, but when I tried to open It , It did open & also didn't give any error message too.
Before this I created one exe file by the same way except; that file does not using any dll or jar file so for that I create my jar file by simply without using Manifest.txt
    I wrote:
    jar cf MyJar.jar *.class
After that I creat it's exe bu using Jar2Exe, It create its exe file & it's work well.
So for my next try with one jar file & three dll file, what is wrong ?
I saved my exe jar file & dll filea file in a same folder. But still have a problem .
What I did wrong/skip in creating Jar file.
Your any help regarding this topic would be appreciated
    Kirti

    Hello,
Getting all of this to work right is a bit of a challenge. I haven't used jar2exe at all, but we have a number of native libraries that we support that have to use dll's. I would recommend adding a static initializer like
    public class flup {
    static {
    try {
    System.loadLibrary("flup"); // will look for flup.dll in the %PATH%
    } catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
This should give you a little more information about what is failing. Chances are the dll's are not in the PATH. You may be able to get around this by using regsvr32 to register the Dll's but I have had mixed results with that solution.
You also may be able to write a simple c++ program that uses the dll's (or maybe you already know of one) and use the "depends.exe" program from Microsoft's Platform SDK to examine the full dll dependency tree if you continue to have problems.
    Best of Luck,
    Andrew

  • How to Create Executable file for a project for Crio Platform

    hi,
i am using CRIO 9014  platform  for my application development.
i am controlling (   Reset  &  then Run )  FPGA   from RT application .
Through TCP/IP  communication the  Acquired data  (   from FPGA  then followed by some Computation Logic in RT )   is sending   to HOST computer .
    during the above process
First i am starting the RT Application    (  the TCP  network will be continuously in listen mode )    then
i am  starting my HOST Application   in the project .
here i want  to build my complete project as an  executable file
so that i no need to start  RT Application first and then HOST Application.
Could you please send me One sample Project           with built in simple  ADC Acquisition  loop /  logic  in FPGA  ,  then  one sample logic  / while loop   in RT   to   acquire  this ADC data from FPGA and  send to HOST    via  TCP/IP network then   the  HOST   with GUI    for  Display in the HOST .
This  complete project should be build in  .exe  file .
Please  complete project  files  and .exe file    as a  zip file.
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi,
I might be confused but what I understand from what you have mentioned is that you want to create a project having two VI's. One running on your FPGA target and another running on you host computer. You want to build a single executable file to complete the entire operation.
Unfortunately you cannot have both VI's in same executable file. You can build one executable file and deploy on your FPGA target that will start running as soon as the target is booted. And you can create another executable file for running VI on your host computer. And instead of using TCP to transfer data, you could use "Interface FPGA" from FPGA module to communicate between your host computer and communicate.

  • How to create executable file in labview 6.0

i have a labview VI file in 6.0 and now i need to create an executable file for that VI.

The Application Builder is an add-on package to LabVIEW and is available from National Instruments. You can use the LabVIEW Application Builder to create stand-alone executable programs, so that you do not need a copy of the LabVIEW development environment to run them. The Application Builder ships with the LabVIEW Professional Development System, but it may be purchased separately if you own the LabVIEW Base Package or the LabVIEW Full Development System.
This URL will help you determine if you have App Builder:

  • Unix Executable Files Problem

My husband moved from PC to Mac and had the Apple Store transfer his libraries to it - including picture files. Every time he opens iPhoto he is told that there are 14 files not yet imported. However, they can't be imported and on inspection turn out to be Unix Executable Files. Each time he does this another Recovered File folder appears in his picture folder on the HD.
I've tried to find out what the files are - but, of course, can't open them. I suspect that they maybe Clip Art from his PC version of Microsoft Office. They can't be deleted. If I put a Recovered File folder in Trash and Empty Trash, it just turns up in the Picture Folder again!
While not a disaster, it's very irritating. Is there anything he can do?

Quit iPhoto and right click (control click) on your iPhoto library (by default in the pictures folder) and select the show package contents command - find the folder names import (or importing) and drag it to the desktop, close the iPhoto library and launch iPhoto - you will be fine
Open the import(ing) folder on the desktop and see if there is anything you want to save in it - if there is import them to iPhoto and then trash the import(ing) folder

  • Creating executable files

    Hi,
i have a working java program and i would like to create an exe program (or installer if you would like to say) so that when I double click on it, it will install all the necessary files.
afterwards, I will also want to create a file that when double-clicked, will invoke my java application.
anyone how to do both of them ?
i want to have them working on both WINDOWS and LINUX (with more emphasize on WINDOWS off course)
if you know any links for them, I would also greatly appreciate
    thanks

For doing so, create a JAR file with the main class
information added inside the manifest fileYepp, that's the solution as long as the OP doesn't want to bundle and install a JRE with it, which I understood wa his/her intention.

  • Eclipse-jcop project building { create .cap file } problem??????????????

    hello all,
I am using jcop tool plugin with eclipse and my atr is:-
    --Opening terminal
    /card -a a000000003000000 -c com.ibm.jc.CardManager--Waiting for card...
    ATR=3B E9 00 00 81 31 FE 45 4A 43 4F 50 34 31 56 32    ;....1.EJCOP41V2
        32 A7                                              2.everything is fine with sample applet { it contain a empty process () or gives 90 00 for select applet apdu }
I am using eclipse ide and jcop plugin, basically my problem is to building project when any changes occoured, initially when i start a new project with steps like:-
    1- java card project
    2-java applet
    3-package id
    4-applet id
    5-basic template of applet
    N- finish
    ok
then when screen open, at the left side i saw cap file propery window ,and automatically there are cap file in bin folder.
It means jcop tool used converter to make .cap file, but when i add some lines according to my requirment,
I am unable to build it again or unable to get a new cap file. May be i need to set some build path , but first time it automatically build so it also indicate that there are no need to set the build path. I am confused in this area.
Is i need to reference the path of converter.jar { jcdk 2.2.1 }? or jcop plugin also have the required jar for converting .class to .cap , inside it. how i rebuild it and make a new fresh .cap file.
some jar file which i paste in plugin folder of eclipse are:-
    com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.demopack_1.0.2.jar
    com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.perftest_1.0.2.jar
    com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.signlite_1.0.2.jar
    com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.targetpack.gemplus_1.0.0.jar
    com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse.targetpack_1.0.3.3.jar
    com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse_1.0.3.3.jar
com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse_3.1.1.a.jarbefore i was using JCDE plugin for simulation process but here i did not use JCDE, I have only eclipse + jcop plugin
I tried to tell you, what is my problem, If you still have any doubt , Let me know.
Waiting for your reply and thanks for your time ............

Thanks Umer for your suggestion , but i dont need to do this, It was my silly mistake to handle the things properly.
Initially i was unable to getting the eclipse and JCOP concept, but now i do. now I am able to build the project or eclipse is building it automatically !!!! I faced this problem b'se i am a newbie in java card. but now things going good to me.
I want to share my getting here:--
My dout was - Is jcop intially have all the Jar's , converter which is required to create a cap file????
My ans is - Yes, EVERYTHING IT HAVE INSIDE.
you just get eclipse ide and get jcop plugin, and paste jcop plugin jar's inside the plugin folder of ecipse and START ECLIPS AGAIN.
NOW EVERYTHING IS SET FOR YOU,
NO REQUIREMENT OF JCDE-java card development envoirnment
no requirement of jcdk- java card development kit ,
no requirement of set any build path in eclipse. just make your applet , and run with jcop tool.ECIPSE AUTOMATICALLY BUILD OPTION WILL CREATE A FRESH .CAP FILE WHENEVER U MADE A NEW CHANGES
    cheers!!!

  • Unix Executable File Problem

Hi all - when I download photographs from my Sony camera via a FAt32 formatted photo storage portable hard drive, accompanying the photo files is a "MEMSTICK.IND' file. It shows as a black rectangle. At some stage I have copied this from the portable drive to my desktop and into a folder. Nothing I do seems to remove it. It shows as being zero KB, but once in the trash, it refuses to be trashed and blocks the clearing of some other files as well. If I drag it out of the trash it copies! It shows as being locked. If I unlock it, it still will not disappear. Now in my efforts to get rid of it, I seem to have duplicated it several times! More puzzling is that Spotlight shows it to exist in some folders that when opened are empty!
By the way, I am unable to re-format the storage drive - it is fixed as Fat32, as are the memory stick storage cards.
Any help would be gratefully accepted!

    Hi, catspaw.
You wrote: "...once in the trash, it refuses to be trashed..."See my "Solving Trash Problems" FAQ. In particular, you may find the utilities recommended therein for dealing with stubborn files especially helpful. The FAQ also discusses a number of techniques for dealing with Trash problems.
As to why this file is being created and what it is for, as a guess it is some kind of index (.ind) file being used by the firmware of the non-Apple devices in question. You might want to discuss Mac compatibility with the manufacturer of the unnamed "FAt32 formatted photo storage portable hard drive."
    Good luck!

  • SQLPLUS spool to create .dat files - problems

I am using spool from sqlplus to generate
.dat files for sqlldr. The problem is with
numeric fields. I have SET numwidth, numformat to no avail. The fields defined with specific numeric size number(n) always get spooled with a longer column size.
Also, the COLSEP character does not appear
after all columns. Any ideas out there ?
(I realize export/import is an easier solution )

Try using TO_CHAR, LPAD, SUBSTR and other character functions to achieve the same. Also, if you have not SET HEAD OFF, then do that, or use alias for the formatted columns in case you need headings.

  • Android reader and Paperport 12 created PDF files problem

i am having a problem with Android reader and documents created with nuance Paperport 12. The documents are a uniform 380k and contain a scanned monochrome image. The device is a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini running Android 2.1 update 1. I have duplicated the problem exactly on a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro.
What happens is when you zoom in on the document the page goes blank. There are no restrictions or security options on the document and the metadata shows nuance Paperport 12 as the creator. I can zoom in on the document on any other device other than the android handsets.

  • How do you create *.exe files using Labview6.0

I shall be grateful if anyone can give me the following info or direct me as to where i can find it..
    (a) What is the procedure of creating executable files using labview6.0
    (b) Do i require any other components other than the labview base package.

    In addition to previous post,
    a) after buying Application Builder (which is included only in LV6i Professional Package), you'll notice a new entry in LV Tools menu (Build Application or Shared Library[DLL]). This opens App Builder (a panel where you can setup many parameters for the VI/LLB to 'build'). It's not complicated and you can use default values for the first try (after selecting your VI)
    b) here is the link to start with App Builder [http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?lang=US&pc=mn&cid=2448]

  • Create Executeable File From .class

    Hi All,
I want to create executable file from .class. Is there any solution so that it should create only windows Dependent executable file so that it has to use windows DLL for all api calls.
    Regards
    Srikanth Addepalli

What he is saying is you will want to make your
.class -> .jar first. from here you can implement a
    variety of tools like
    http://www.excelsior-usa.com/articles/java-to-exe.html
    http://www.regexlab.com/en/jar2exe/
    http://jsmooth.sourceforge.net/
Those are all free however this one isn't
    http://www.bestvistadownloads.com/software/t-free-jar2
    exe-standard-edition-download-lmdepovu.htmlThanks for Reply.
But Every software you specified here is indirectly using the Java virtual Machine for execution.I need a software such a way that i should run without help of JVM.

  • Problems creating a jar executable file...

Hi there, I am new to these forums, my name is Jay.
I am trying to create an executable .jar file for my program I created in JBuilder 2005, with java files and several other files as well. I am having MAJOR problems with either the main class not being found or failing to load Main-Class manifest attribute.
I tried to make a .txt with two lines, including the first with the MAIN-CLASS: className and stuff and a second line blank, and use the cmf command line to run it and include it in there. I ran it and created it no problem, but then I try to run it, and I get the error of the main class not being found and I have specified the correct directory and class name.
Then I try to make my own manifest file with the correct directory and class name by making a txt file into an .mf file and when I try the cf command line this time, it gives me the error of failing to load Main-Class manifest attribute.
I have even followed the tutorials on the Sun developer website including Manifest making and stuff and everything.
I have worked on this program (java) for months and I am now STUCK. If someone could maybe give me some assistance or suggestions as to what my problem might be, I would greatly appreciate it so much. Or if you want, you can e-mail me, @ [email protected] with suggestions. Thank you all very much.
I have a folder in a directory. It's called SuperPassword, which is the folder where my project files and EVERYTHING is. my .class files are in the classes/superpassword subdirectory of the folder SuperPassword, my java files are in the src/superpassword subdirectory and my manifest file and txt files are in the SuperPassword main directory. Maybe that could give you guys a bit of a hint as to what I am dealing with, I want to explain it as clearly as possible.

JaySo I guess you have a directory path SuperPassword\classes\superpassword and the .class files are inside. Are the classes in a superpassword package? If they are, then the Main-Class must be something like "superpassword.MainClass" and when you jar the .class files you need to make sure they are in a superpassword directory inside the jar - like "jar cmf thejar.jar themanifest.txt superpassword\*.class"
You can check the directory structure by displaying the contents of the jar using "jar tf thejar.jar"
Also, remember that java is case sensitive.
