How do you create *.exe files using Labview6.0

I shall be grateful if anyone can give me the following info or direct me as to where i can find it..
(a) What is the procedure of creating executable files using labview6.0
(b) Do i require any other components other than the labview base package.

In addition to previous post,
a) after buying Application Builder (which is included only in LV6i Professional Package), you'll notice a new entry in LV Tools menu (Build Application or Shared Library[DLL]). This opens App Builder (a panel where you can setup many parameters for the VI/LLB to 'build'). It's not complicated and you can use default values for the first try (after selecting your VI)
b) here is the link to start with App Builder [http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?lang=US&pc=mn&cid=2448]

  • How do you run .exe files with wine by clicking on them?

    Hi, I need help with using wine on mac osx. I used to use wine on Ubuntu and Linux Mint and it was relatively simple. But on mac osx, I used macports to dowload/install wine, and i used winecfg to create a prefix. I can not figure out for the life of me how to launch an executable by clicking on it. It opens in TextEdit instead of launching in wine. Can someone explain to me how to make a .exe file launch by clicking on it? Do i have to register the filetype with wine? Wine is not in a .app format. I can run any .exe in terminal but it is less than convenient. Thanks in advance.

    So wrap Wine in an application, and bind the .exe's to the wrapper application.
    Platypus (free download)
    <http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19870>
    Can be used to turn any Unix program or script into a double clickable application, as well as a drag and drop target application.
    It should be possible to wrap Wine with Platypus.
    As an alternative, you might try Applications -> Automator -> Run Shell Script workflow, and save that as an application. Then bind your .exe's to that workflow you created.
    NOTE: I have not played with Wine, so your mileage may vary.

    JSP is used for server validation.
    So you need a an application server (like Tomcat or Jboss) to execute your jsp files.
    you can create the .war file of your simple jsp application and put it in the server.
    then you will have to access your page using a web browser.
    the URL will be
    http://<ComputerName or IP Address>:<PortNumber>/<WarFileName>/<MainJspPage>
    (eg: http://100.100.100.252:8080/SimpleApplication/mainPage.jsp)

  • How do I create a file using Alchemy?

    I have C++ code that uses the following method to create a file: open(filename, access, perms)  to create a file, just a standard C++ method from <fcntl.h> library. It works perfect in C++, it creates the file, however, if I compile it into a swc file and use it in my Flex project, it does not create the file. Is there any way I can use that method, compile that C++ code into swc and use it in Flex project and still be able to create a file?

    Hi Jim,
    That's right.Your understanding on my question is right.
    I know to write a file, we need record,file and sql object to work.
    record creates and instantiates the rowset for that record.
    sql fetches all fields using the by passing the record parameter and %selectall(:1) where bind variable is record name.
    File object helps to create ,open write and close the file.
    I wanted to know How could implement/integrate the rowset feature to filter and extract the data specifcally.Since I am new to App engine.I checked out people books where they have mentioned the syntax but not the integration.
    Regular code that i am trying with the above objects is like this below:
    Local File &MyFile;
    Local Record &rec1;
    Local SQL &SQL1;
    /*Create Instance of Record */
    &rec1 = CreateRecord(record.tc_help_me_tbl);
    &MyFile = GetFile“c:\temp\help_me.txt”, , “A” %FilePath_Absolute);
    &MyFile.setFileLayout(FileLayout.help_me);
    /*Create SQL object to populate rowset */
    &SQL1=CreateSQL(“%selectall(:1)”,&rec1);
    While &SQL1.Fetch(&rec1)
    &MyFile.WriteRecord(&rec1);
    End-While;
    &MyFile.Close();
    provide me the rowset code by integrating in between them(fill it with one field)
    Thanks and Regards

  • How can you create a user using mbean

    Or if you already created a user via console,
    how can you access it with mbean ?
    what is the domain, and type etc?

    Thanks Wayne. I'll have to try that. Although I'm wondering, doesn't Oracle have plans to use one-way password encryption at some point? making this method of password retrieval break?
    I've also found the following article. It talks about how the OIM API can get an authenticated user session from the authenticated WLS session. It's tantalizing! But doesn't really match my use case or reveal the inner mechanics of how the OIM API gets what it needs from WLS; and therefore I don't think I can subvert that mechanism to do impersonation.
    http://fusionsecurity.blogspot.com/2013/01/authenticating-oim-apis-without-end.html
    Another approach I'm looking at, which works if all i want to do is fire up a session for one specific user (e.g. an unprivileged service account), is to use creds (username and password) stored in the WLS Credential Store (CSF). See appendix A in:
    http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/oim/oim_11g/developing_oim_custom_approval_process_for_resource_provision/developing_oim_custom_approval_process_for_resource_provision.pdf

  • How do you open .exe files?

    Most of the stuff that I've downloaded on my computer lately has been .exe files and none of them will open? any advice?

    Hi denae8,
    Normally, an .exe (executable) is a Windows program/application. The only exception is if it's a .zip archive that was converted to a self extracting .exe file. Download the free Stuffit Expander from www.allume.com. Drag and drop the .exe file onto the Expander. If it's a converted .zip file, the files will be extracted. If not, then it's a Windows program file.

  • How do you generate log files using ActionScript 3?

    Is there any way to log activity using AS3 by using a Red5 Media Server?
    I cam across www.as3commons.org/as3-commons-logging but in this I have no clue how to access logfiles or where the logfiles are generated.
    I was wondering if there's a way to generate and store log files on a media server. Say for example, I need to log when the user starts recording a video, when the connection to the media server is successful and so on.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    In FMS backend scrips also works then log file can be create from beckend scripts.

  • How do I create a file using rowset

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement where I need to join two tables based on keys and I need to fetch the data from a single table.

    We are trying to create a client that does not use shared libraries.
    We have tried to use a -Bstatic option when linking the libraries but,
    we get the error /usr/local/tuxedo/lib/libtux.a(libtux.so.60): fatal
    error: input shared object in static mode
    We have tried several variations like moving the .a files, changing
    the options around and got no where.
    Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.
    Thank you.

    Hello,
    If you are using JSF, you can create a LOV by using the selectItem
    component.
    Look at this sample code:
    <h:form binding="#{backing_test.form1}" id="form1">
    <h:selectOneMenu binding="#{backing_test.selectOneMenu1}"
    id="selectOneMenu1">
    <f:selectItem itemLabel="option1" itemValue="1"
    binding="#{backing_test.selectItem1}" id="selectItem1"/>
    <f:selectItem itemLabel="option2" itemValue="2"
    binding="#{backing_test.selectItem2}" id="selectItem2"/>
    <f:selectItem itemLabel="option3" itemValue="3"
    binding="#{backing_test.selectItem3}" id="selectItem3"/>
    </h:selectOneMenu>
    </h:form>

  • Create .exe file for core java project

    how can i create .exe file or wrapper for my core java project

    To be honest with you this is going to be very difficult at best.
    And I'm not sure it's entirely realistic or legal. You'll need to install Tomcat and MySQL and all your stuff...Haven't ever tried doing so, but I think it might be quite possible sollution...
    There's a preconfigured version of Tomcat, that you simply unzip on the drive (so there's no nned of running installator).
    If OP would use some MySQL server's clone, that needs no installation (some time ago i was looking for thing like thatand found couple of those).
    All configuration (installing services etc.) as well as copying JSPs and other stuff to Tomcat dirs can be made with script files (.bat or whatever) or under another java application that will run all the commands...
    As cotton.m wrote... if it works, it's going to be hell lot of work...

  • Not sure if Mavericks is worth the effort of downloading and I prefer mountain lion.  How do you make a file in Finder.

    I am not sure if Mavericks is much better than Mountain Lion as an OS.  The maps part was okay but I could not view the map as shown on the apple website, there was no 3D.  How do you create a file in Finder on the MacBook Pro.?

    Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!!!!!!!!!!!!  YOU DID IT!  I cannot believe it!
    I changed "Move To Trash" to "Move to Trash" and selected a file.  I had lost all hope, so I took a minute to prepare myself for yet another moment of deep frustration.  Then I pressed F10, and bang! the file was trashed!!!  It took me a couple minutes to actually believe what just happened.  Thank you so much!  If I could, I would "like" you as many times as I can physically hit the "Liked" button!
    PS: what the heck is wrong with Apple though???  Wrong instructions, incorrect help instructions on their own site.  The chances of figuring this out before having a nervous breakdown were like one in a million (approximately, I did not actually do the math).  Last week, the keyboard and the trackpad stopped responding on my brand new macbook pro for a couple hours. I was not the only one with this problem.  Apparently, this was from a design flaw, which means it could happen again at any time.  iMovie doesn't work.  TextEdit keeps crashing all the time.  Emptying the trash can take hours.
    Since 2000, I bought a PMac G4 Quicksilver, a used PMac G3 Blue, a used iBook G4, a used Pismo PBook G3, a used Graphite iMac G4, a used iMac G3 (green, 233MHz I think) and I already had more problems with this brand new macbook pro than will all the other macs combined...  For such an expensive machine, with 16GB of RAM, that's a little dissapointing, especially from Apple.  Maybe I'm just not lucky.
    Anyways, thanks again!  Best moment of 2014!

  • How to create smaller .exe file use JBuilder7

    I am currently using JB7(EE), which can create native executable file for me. But I found it so foolish that add so many unneed classes to .exe(As I can use WinRar open it, but cannot change it).
    Does anyone know how to reduce the .exe?
    ps: As I use castor, so I had to include castor class in it, but I really don't want to add all of these to it.

    In the Wizar you employ to make the native executable,
    in the second step the Wizard ask you what to do with
    the libraries you have employed in the proyect,
    include all them include only the classes and
    resources nedded, or not include. This way you'll be
    able to control what is in you .exe file.
    AbrahamYes, I had tried it, and tried every possible combination/permutation of the four choice.
    But still bigger than it can be.
    For example: I used castor.xml library, but JBuilder include all castor include xml parser, html parser, xhtml parser, etc.
    As castor.xml --> castor.xxx(I cannot remember its name) --> castor.html-->...
    So JB7 maybe confused by the complex deps.
    So JB7 include ALL in my exe fiel.
    It may be impossible to create smaller .exe file with normal way.
    So anyone know any other way to create .exe file with the .jar file?
    As I can change the content of .jar, but cannot to .exe.
    thx for continous reply

  • How do you create a save as default folder for MP3 files used Captivate text to audio voices files?

    How do you create a save as default folder for MP3 files used Captivate text to audio voices files?

    Hi Ed
    Thank you for contacting me, however I already know how to save text to
    audio files via timeline using the Export feature.
    So my question was not entirely clear and I apologize for that.  To explain
    further, whenever I save a text to audio file, captivate takes me to a
    default save as folder where I then have browse back to my production
    folder where I am keeping all my Txt to Aud files.  This is very tedious
    process when you have alot of files to save.  So my question was is there a
    way to configure captivate so I can make my production folder the default
    file for whenever I save a Txt to Audio file through Export feature that
    the system automatically takes me to that production folder, and I am
    spared the long tedious process of saving the file manually to the
    prodcution folder I want.
    I have copy the pathway to the production folder in the URL filed in the
    Save As dialoge box and that workaround as cut the work down but I still
    have to paste that URL field to point the file to the right folder. So it
    would be nice if I could do everything automatically.  Microsoft makes this
    capability in their MS Office applications, so I was thinking Adobe might
    do the same thing.  Your help with this would be appreicated,
    Thanks
