Using External JARs in Web Dynpro Dev.Component for NW04s SP16
Hi Kanwal,
Thanks for the link. I've followed similar steps, but still unable to get the jars in my library component.
Mr. Kent has resolved using Enterprise Application component. I don't know how to create an Enterprise application with the jars declared in its public part.
Please help,

How to create a Module Component containing a MAX().. GROUP BY Statement
Hi
What do I have to do, to get a module component, which, in the end, returns a statement like
SELECT mas_id, mas_name
FROM v_masken_zugriff
WHERE mzu_datenbank = 'database'
AND (UPPER(vur_name) = UPPER(user)
OR UPPER(vur_name) IN (SELECT granted_role
FROM dba_role_privs
WHERE UPPER(grantee) =UPPER( user)
GROUP BY mas_id, mas_name
i.e. how do I generate a GROUP BY Statement?
Thanks a lot!

Problem when I create a library automatically using a vi.
I create a library which contains a Shared Variable by the vi as the attachment shows, but the property of the autocreated Shared variable is not same with which I set in the vi, mainly in the propertys of Network.AccessType and Alarming.BadStatus.Enabled. But other propertys are same with which I set, What's wrong with this Vi?

After you dobleclick every shared varaible and click ok(without any change), then the libarary can be deployed successful!
It's very strange to me, can anyone explain this?

Can I create a JSP component library
I hope I make some sense here:
Instead of creating a tag library which contains compiled code (and in my case HTML, which I am trying to avoid), I would like to create a library of JSP files that contain small snippets of HTML/JSP to be included in JSP files across a number of contexts.
So the end result would be something like a jar file sitting in the <root>/lib directory for the server (i.e. Tomcat) where JSP files can be found to be included in other JSP files using the include directive. This will allow for a library of JSP chuncks that I can (re)use in various contexts/applications.
Why must they be JSPs? Well I would like to avoid compiling HTML and making it difficult for my designer to alter the UI (my designer doesn't know Java, so a tag lib is not really an option).
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
RobThanks for the reply...
But my problem is not the actually ability to do the include, my problem is where the files to be included are sitting in the filesystem releative to the mother page.
I am trying to build this such that it is convienent to use for possible third party developers.
Thanks,

Creating Sawtek filter library component
Hello all. I couldn't find anything related to my question so I'll write my first post.
I am trying to replicate the RF 70MHz on Multisim.
Then I encountered a Sawtek Filter 854660 within the circuit diagram.
I followed the steps on creating a new library component from the NI website:
http://www.ni.com/tutorial/3173/en/
but to no avail.
On the 854660 pdf datasheet, I cannot find the type of package required to create this filter on the multisim library.
Can any one offer some advice as to how can I create a new package for the sawtek filter? Or perhaps the package is already in multisim but I might have missed it?
Kind Regards,Sorry, I couldn't attach the files on the previous post.

How should I create JAR file which contain JMF library and project classes
Hi,
I installed the JMF windows pack. I compiled and ran successfully myApplet (which use JMF librarie) in Internet Explorer on my machine. When I run this applet on some different machine, where JMF isnt installed- its not running.
There is an error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/media/ControllerListener
I was trying to create jar file, which contain librarie JMF.jar and all other files which are require to run myApplet (*.jar, *.class, the files from folder MyApplet) and run it on the other computer. It still doesnt work.
Also I ran a JMF Customizer and created customize.jar but this file contains only JMF classes. I dont know how add other files to it.
How should I create a jar file which will contains all essential files to run myApplet on other machine (something like All In One J )
Im using Eclipse.
Can somebody help me?.
Thank You!
Best regards:

I have created a OData Connection to my Library and published to SharePoint online site.
To refresh the data, property is set like "Refresh when opening file"
When I downloaded and open the file, the new data is consumed to me successfully because this ODF file referenced to my local computer
If any other user downloads the file its not opening as reference file points to my local machine.
I want to keep this ODF file in "Data connections" Library (or in any site/Library) and establish the connection to the excel sheet. so that any one can use the ODF file.
or else any other alternative to use ODF file globally and get the SP Library data to excel ?Hi,
it will use the connection in the ADF library. I recommend though that you not save database connect information in the ADF library. Instead:
- define the ADF BC model to use JDBC data sources
- In the ADF library, configure it to only contain the data source name
- In the view project (the workspace) configure the database connection exposed by the library
When the library is imported, check Application Resources --> Connections and right click on the imported connection name to configure it

Failed to create delegate for component (Model Error)
Dear All,
I am getting exception while running one webdynpro application. Details of error is attached below.
I am getting this error just after binding the Component controller node to Model Node, without writing any code for model execution. My model is created from one webservice, and that web service is perfectly fine.
My server and IDE both running on same service pack SP12.
I have tried with re-creating model and rebuild the project but still getting the same error.
Kindly suggest.
Thanks & Regards
Manoj Sahoo

Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/tc/webdynpro/model/webservice/gci/WSTypedModelClass</b>hi,
the problem is that you are missing a jar file called: webdynpromodel_webservice_default.jar
which should be present inside:
C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\.dtc\3\DCs\sap.com\tc\wd\wslib\_comp\gen\default\public\default\lib\java
For this you need to add tc/wd/wslib(default) DC as used DC. Go to DC Metadata -> DC Definition and expand used DCs. check whether it is present or not. If not then add it.
Just check this. Hope this will solve your problem
thanks & regards,
Manoj

I have imported a lot of photos from a travel from friends in my iPhoto library. I created and ordered a beautiful book for them, but I do want to get rid of all the photo;s from my library. So I have used iPhoto Library Manager to create a library for all these photos. Unfortunately it did not copy the book itself. So I still cannot delete all the photos from my main library.
Is there a way to copy the photo book (it was a lot of work) to the new library or save it in any other way so I can delete their photos from my main library?no
Books are just databae entries and can not be moved independently - you can ony move the entire library - you can make a smaller library containing only the book for ease of moving and archiving - see Old Toad's Tutorial #9

What was it that solved your issue?

Error Service Component Container for Java Mailer is not running
Hi,
I installed Oracle Workflow 2.6.3 (Standalone) in Oracle Database 10g Release 1.
Actually there was no problem during the installation.
I have done the Setting Up from step 1 to 8.
I'm going to do the step 9 (Implementing Notification Mailer).
The problem is the Workflow Agent Listener WFALSNRSVC is not running
and I cannot run it using the Oracle Workflow Manager.
In the Oracle Workflow Manager there was 4 rows which related to the Container : WFALSNRSVC
1. Workflow Deferred Agent Listener
2. Workflow Deferred Notification Agent Listener
3. Workflow Error Agent Listener
4. Workflow Inbound Notification Agent Listener
The status is : Stopped.
I cannot run any of them.
Although the Startup Mode is Automatic, but none of them is running.
When I tried to push the Go button to Actions: Start, it showed this message
An error has occured
The Service Component Container is not running.
And after I tried to configure the Workflow Notification Mailer using the wizard
I didn't receive any e-mail after I push the Test Send Mail button.
I read in another post in this forum.
It states that when going to the Workflow Configuration Assistant (WFCA)
we must give the right entry in the LDAP paramaters and Java Mailer parameters,
otherwise those WFALSNRSVC and WFMLRSVC would never run eventhough we enter them in a later time.
Actually I didn't provide the paramaters (both of them) since they are optional.
My questions are:
1. Is there another way to run those service (servlet)?
I really need the Java Notification Mailer to send email.
2. Should I uninstall and reinstall my Oracle Workflow and provide those paramaters?
Do I have to uninstall and reinstall the Oracle Workflow Middle Tier too?
3. Is it okay if I drop and cascade the OWF_MGR user (my Workflow Manager schema)
and then I use the Workflow Configuration Assistant again and choose Install option
to create the OWF_MGR schema?
3. Are the LDAP and OID required before we use the Java Notification Mailer?
Actually I didn't understand the use of LDAP and OID which required in the LDAP paramaters?
Any help would be grateful.
Thanks,
BuntoroIn the service components page click on any container, select stop all from the LOV and Go. Once all the containers Workflow Agent Listener Service,
Workflow Document Web Services Service and Workflow Mailer Service are Deactivated then StartAll. After all the containers are started then check the components status.
Still if they are running bounce the apache. -
How to create custom MXML component accepting other MXML componenents as children
How can I create an MXML component that when I use it in the "main" MXML, accepts other MXML components...
For example:
<s:WindowedApplication>
<myComponent>
<otherMXMLcomponent></otherMXMLcomponent>
<otherMXMLcomponent></otherMXMLcomponent>
<otherMXMLcomponent></otherMXMLcomponent>
<otherMXMLcomponent></otherMXMLcomponent>
</myComponent>
<s:WindowedApplication>
How do you declare such a component?
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<s:Group xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark" xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx">
</s:Group>
Al posto dei puntini ci metto quello che voglio.. nel tuo caso i tuoi 2 famosi pulsanti..
All'esterno chiamerò :
<mioComponenteCustom>
<s:DataGrid>
</s:DataGrid
</mioComponenteCustom>
Dove DataGrid è un componente a caso qualsiasi.. Ora, con questa struttura non ricevo errori e sembra andare bene..
Dimmi se ho capito bene o volevi fare altro..

Hi,
There is great and easy way to create flash based component
in flash cs3 using action script 3.0.
I am going to make a simple My button component which will
behave likely same as flash native button component.
You can modify this according your requirement this is just
you give an idea about how we can go for creating a component in
flash cs3.
Follow these steps…
1. Create a fla file and save this file with any name
2. Create a movieClip and draw a rectangle shape on first
frame.
3. Right click on movieclip in library, select linkage
4. Provide class name in text field area [MyButton] (you can
use any name here which should matched with your class)
5. Click Ok button
6. Write class [MyButton]
(you can copy and use this)
* author @ sanjeev rajput
* [email protected]
* A flash action script 3.0 based component without extending
UIComponent class
package {
import flash.display.Sprite;
import flash.text.TextField;

init();

_background.graphics.lineStyle(_borderThickness,
_borderColor, 1);
_background.graphics.drawRoundRect(0, 0, _width, _height,
10, 10);
_background.graphics.endFill();
public function setSize(w:Number, h:Number):void {
_width = w;
_height = h;
draw();
7. Now right click again on your movieclip in library and
select component definition.
8. In class name text field provide same class name
[MyButton]
9. Click on ok button
10. Right click again on movieClip in library and select
Export SWC file.
11. Same your exported SWC file in (For window only)
[c:\Documents and Settings\$user\Local Settings\Application

12. Now just open another new flash file open component
panel/window reload component you will your component in component
panel with MyButton name.
13. Drag your custom component on stage provide inputs form
property window and text it.

Works just fine.
Made new movie, on frame 2 places Full screen action, on
frame 5 placed video component
and stop(); action attached to frame. Projector pops large
following by video playing
just fine.
I tried variety, first frame, many frames, all on one. Not
able to reproduce your problem.
Works on first go.

(ie. use what method call to get the associated application name/path according to the file extension).
Thanks very much in advance.Hi there:
can anyone help with this question, I did try to use the syntax of Runtime.getRuntime().exec("start abc.txt"), but some computers works, others don't. they are all running win2000, did I miss something on the system setting, many thanks in advance.
another question is I want to display the file using different icon according to their type, is there any way to get the icon info. of the registered application from windows registry?
