Creating a percent graph in a column in table

Hi,
I would like to display a percent bar graph which has contextual information corresponding to the particular row in a column of the table. When I drag a separate data control to the column, it is displaying all the bars corresponding to all rows in each row. When I create a view link and use detail data control, bar graph corresponding to first row data is displayed in all the rows.
Is it possible to display contextual information corresponding to the particular row using a percent graph in a column?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Creating multiple Line Graph having common values..

I've created one application process for creating Multiple Line Graph.
And i've integreted two tables in this graph, where values may be common for both the tables. In this case, for common values, instead of getting overlapped I'm getting scattered graph(its totally abnormal). Please help me if you 've any idea about this issue.....?

Is it possible to create an interactive graph/chart using Report Builder 3.0?

I am using Report Builder for the first time. Here is what I am trying to accomplish. The data I plan to use in Report Builder is coming from SQL Server and in the Report Builder I want to create an interactive graph(chart).
For example, The table in SQL Server consists of Hospital Name, Measure name, and Scores for each measures for different quarters.
The idea is to create a graph that will allow the user to pick the measure name(from a drop down list or something similar) and Hospital name, then the graph will display the measure scores for different quarters and corresponding target scores for that
particular Hospital.
The data in SQL server looks like this :

I was able to create the parameters and now able to select the measure and facility and display that data in the table and chart.
Now I am trying to see if I can add a line(target values) on top of the column chart to show the whether the scores of each measures, for each quarters are how far from the target values.
Please let me know if this is possible.

IOS Numbers - creating "legend" headings from a distant column

I have a spreadsheet where the rows are financial items and the columns are years.
I want to create a pie chart of one particular year (lets say in column G) and label each segment with the headings from column A.
How do I tell Numbers to do this?
I've managed to make a pie chart of column G, but the legend simpke contains "untitled" and I can find no way to specify the source for the titles, nor to edit them.
I can do this elsewhere and import it and Numbers understands it correctly, but I would like to do it in my iPad too. Is this possible.

Ok -cracked it and thanks for your input that made me think and work out how!
The answer lies in the fact that you can designate up to 5 header columns BUT, and this is the important bit, you can, in effect, specify which of them is picked up as a header for the graph by starting the area you select for the graph in that column. You then narrow down the selected area to one column and move that out to the one you wish to chart! The header markers are left over the first column.
This worked well for my moderately complex header columns which had been used to indent headings and sub headings To represent sub tables within the overall spreadsheet.
Always satisfying to solve a niggling problem!

There are different ways to achieve that. The simplest i could recall is to have 2 different charts, 1st bar chart and 2nd a line chart, lay one over the other and enable the transparency on the chart which on Top ( say Line ). also, crystal will allow you to control axes etc and make them transparent..

Here's a quick example I threw together that generates a sort-of-bell-curve shaped data distribution, then performs the binning and plotting.

Creating a view with existing GeoRaster columns and new SDO_GEOMETRY column

Hi,
In a nutshell, I already have 1 real table, which has several attributes including types such as text, numbers etc. but also a GeoRaster column. This table works great, has its metadata stored properly and is spatially indexed; no worries.
I am then creating a view based on the above mentioned table, including the GeoRaster column. This worked, no problems. However now I want the same view to also have a SDO_GEOMETRY column which explicitly stores the spatial extent for each GeoRaster. Note the original table does not have this SDO_GEOMETRY column. So, I have created a revised SQL statement to create the view, but now it dynamically adds a new column and puts the GeoRaster.spatialextents into the SDO_GEOMETRY column.
This worked, the data made it into the view, but when we try to view the SDO_GEOMETRY in a viewer, we get errors. I added a system metadata entry for the view, but this did not help. Also, it is not possible to spatially index a view so I knew that was not the problem.
I think what has happened is the SDO_GEOMETRY column is in a sort of "limbo", where because it was not contained in the original table (and indexed there) and it is not able to be indexed in a view, it cannot be manipulated/viewed/used spatially.
Here is a snippet describing the original table:

Note in the above statement that the "geor_extents" column is the new column added dynamically (and not in the original table). Note the new column with the SDO_GEOMETRY data is flawless, I have looked at the records in SQL developer and all the data is there.
Any ideas?
In case you're wondering, I do have reasons for: (i) wanting an explicit column with the SDO_GEOMTRY (serving via WFS), and (ii) not wanting to alter the original table to include the equivalent SDO_GEOMETRY column.

if you are having problems to display your view spatial columns in MapBuilder/MapViewer, you may be missing to register the view information in the metadata (name and spatial columns).
For example, lets see the following table that simulates your case:

There is no need to index the spatial columns if they have been indexed before.
Now, if you go in MapBuilder you should see the the view name in the list of geometry tables, and be able to create a theme on column GEOR_EXTENTS (select it on the combo box) and to preview it.
For the GeoRaster column, currently the view name is not shown on the list of GeoRaster tables in MapBuilder.
For GeoRaster data, MapBuilder uses the contents of metadata view user_sdo_geor_sysdata, and then it would be needed to register the view contents there. We will talk with Jeffrey to check if there is any problem in registering
view contents in this metadata view. If the view name and georaster column is registered in user_sdo_geor_sysdata,
then it should show in MapBuilder. But you can still create a GeoRaster theme for this view using a SQL command, and should be able to preview it in MapBuilder.

Set your columns back to one for the moment. In layout mode, insert a Text box. Place it in the upper left corner of your document, and drag down and right to the size of the container for your two columns. Click inside the Text Box, and now bump up your columns to 2. Your two columns are now contained in this resizable Text Box.

How to create new form fields in several columns (spreadsheet) and have them named consecutively?

Hopefully someone can help. I created a new form from an Excel spreadsheet, but the form field recognition didn't "take" well and very little of the spreadsheet translated into form fields. I need to create new fields (31) for each column (about 10) and I want the fields in each column to have a keyword from the parent column and the fields numbered consecutively. I'm really hoping I don't have to do this manually!
Next, is there a way to total the values in a column of fields (the same as the SUM function in Excel?) or does the form user have to dig out a calculator and add everything?
Can I create an email (submit) button and direct how (ie email) and by what method the form is sent?
Once the form is completed, is there a way for the user to lock it before sending it - ie a button they could press to make it no longer fillable? Or can I set the document to be a regular .pdf once it leaves the host machine?
I think that's it! Hopefully someone can help soon - this is a work project that could be potentially very time consuming if I have to create each form field manually. Thank you for any assistance!

Yes, this can be very tricky. If you don't get the exact right offset between each field, the difference will accumulate and after a while it will be completely off.
You just have to play around with it, until you get it right. Or almost right, and then adjust it manually.
Another thing I've noticed, is that when you select one field and right click for properties, you get an expanded version, as opposed to select/shift/enter for a bunch of cells only yields an abbreviated properties box - what's up with that? Is there a way to change this? For instance, I had set the properties for a column of 31 cells to be number, 1 decimal place. Halfway through my project, the lady I am doing the favor for tells me she would like 2 decimal places, requiring me to manually change each box for 62 cells! Apparently cell formatting is not an option in the abreviated properties dialogue! Is there a fix for that?
No, there isn't. Some propeties you have to set manually (or get right the first time, before copying and pasting...). There is a way to do it with a script, but it's a bit complex and requires using an undocumented method.
This next question is a bit more complicated, and may not be possible. The form I am creating is for payroll purposes, so at the moment it is generic (31 days) and the user fills in the month manually. Is it possible to get the form to recognize a month value (or create a pulldown menu with a selection of months to choose from) and limit the days accordingly? Or better yet, run a calendar function so that weekends and stat holidays are highlighted on the affected row? Kind of like what you can do with an Excel spreadsheet, which is what I designed the form in at the start (then printed to .pdf - the form field recognition did NOT work well on my spreadsheet! hence me doing every cell manually). Is this even possible, and if so, is it something I could learn to do?

If you want to do it yourself, you would have to learn a lot about both the Date object in JS and about the various date printing and scanning methods in Acrobat JS.
