Creating an Event Case on a Right-Click

Hello All,
Is it possible to set up an event case to occur on a right-click down when the cursor is over an image?  If so, please post details.
Thanks!

Yes, I think the event case for Mouse Down has a property (I think it is actually called the data node, but it is the drop down that appears on the left side of the event case) called Button which tells you which button was pressed.  Also, you can get the mouse coordinates from the event case data node and calculate whether or not the mouse was within the picture frame.  Hope this helps.  I don't have Labview, right now, so I can't create an example.

I can no longer create an event on iCal by double clicking on a time or date, nor can I double click on an existing event! HELP!
The only way I have to create an event is by using the "+" button, which is very limiting!
I am running the latest version of Mac OS X and all the updates.
Anyone know how I could get a proper use of my iCal ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
If you list the steps you have taken to fix this it will help.
Have you tried using the File > New Event menu item?
Have you logged the user account out/ restarted the computer?
Have you tried un-syncing any accounts synced to Calendar?
Is there some change made to the computer that may have triggered this?

  • Using link event on textarea with right click

I added 'event:' to the links in a textarea.htmlText because
i need to be able to track when the link is clicked, but
unfortunately this makes the link not work if they try to right
click it to open it in a new window, it also doesn't track the
click, the 'event:' shows in the new browser window url. Is the a
way to disable rightclicking on links in a text area?

    Hey there,
Make sure you have all the proper drivers installed for Boot Camp, which at this point you may have already done. Then below, is an article from Apple explaining how to right->click using BootCamp Windows. Hope this helps.

  • Create a desktop shortcut link when right clicking in Firefox

When I use Internet Explorer and I right click when I am on any website, there is a Create Shortcut option for putting that website onto my desktop.
When I use Firefox and I right click when I am on any website, there is no such option.
I want to know how to insert that option into Firefox for right clicking for myself.

You can drag the favicon on the left end of the location bar onto the desktop to create a shortcut.
You can also use an extension.

  • What Acrobat SDK Technology I need to build a plugin that creates a new item to the Right-Click context menu?

I want to develop a plugin for Adobe Reader that will be invoked through a new item in the Right-Click menu.
What is the right SDK Technology to build this new item? Javascript, Interapplication Communication or a C/C++ plugin?
I would feel more comfortable with JS or C#, but I don't know if I must use the C++ API to be able to build such level of integration.
    Thank you very much.

Plugins are written in C/C++ and especially something such as adding to the UI.
To add this to Acrobat, no license or fee is required - you can do it today with just the SDK and Acrobat.
However, to build a plugin for Reader, you will need to obtain a license from Adobe.  Details are in the SDK under "Reader Integration Key License Agreement" (RIKLA).

  • Need to create menu on mouse right click

I have a web application with frames with one frame have a tree.
Now i want to right click on one node and say "Copy" the node to another location in the tree..
My problem is that i am able to get how to create the menu option on right click.
Can anybody suggest how to acheive this

i'm pursuing the same thing. i believe ONE way of doing it is to add an ActionListener to the component, whether it be the frame or the node component you speak of. compare the action event object to the right click of the mouse, if it's true the trigger a menu, and ideally place the menu object next to the x,y coordinates of the mouse cursor (either to the left or to the right depending on where on the screen the cursor is.
as far as how a menu is created i do not really know and would also like some information on that.
i'm guessing it should be related to the JMenu object (directly a subclass of JMenuItem which in turn is a subclass of AbstractButton). That's a good place to start from. let me know if you get anywhere on this.

  • When right clicking on a doc file and choosing create a pdf file....Word 2013 launches and creates problems. We are using Acrobat Pro. Is there a way to turn off this feature in Word 2013?

Is there a way around Word 2013 hijacking Acrobat Pro "create a pdf" process? When right clicking on a doc file and choosing "create a pdf" .......the Acrobat process will beging but then Word 2013 jumps in and creates problems.

That's exactly why it needs to support it... The support means the
application was tested in the supported environment and is known to work
well in it. In unsupported environments you can get all kind of strange
conflicts like the one you're experiencing.

  • Problems with new start button right-click context menu

I have been unable to come up with a rhyme or reason to this problem.
For some reason the Windows 8.1 start button will no longer respond to a right-click.  The context menu will not come up.  You can see that the active window is no longer active because the border color changes.  The start button works as
    expected when left-clicking it.
I first noticed this on a brand new Windows 8 machine that I upgraded to Windows 8.1.  The problem occurred while I was messing with trying to customize the default user profile.  The next time I logged in with a new user account the start button
was broke.  The system I was using was stripped down.  It had NO additional software on it except the drivers and necessary associated applications, and all available Windows updates were installed.  I chaulked it up to something I messed up.
Next, I reformatted 20 lab computers with Windows 8.1 Pro and joined them to a Server 2003 domain.  Users have roaming profiles and folder redirection policies.  The folder redirection policies redirect AppData, Documents, and Desktop to a folder
on the server and the contents of these folders are shared between Windows XP and Windows 8.1.  The roaming profiles are unique and new.  Thus far all users have only logged on to Windows XP so they have the version 1 profile and when they logon
to the Windows 8.1 box a new .v2 profile folder is created.
Today, we logged about 12 users into these individual machines for the first time and about 3 or 4 of them could not right-click their start button.  Once the problem occurs, it never goes away regardless of what machine they log into.  The only
way to solve the problem is to default the profile off the computer and delete the roaming profile folder off the server.  The problem has reoccurred after this but I'm not sure what triggers it.
In addition, I have tried renaming the user's redirected application data folder and letting Windows 8.1 create a new one in case there was a conflict with a Windows XP setting.  This did not resolve the issue.

In my environment we had a network "Default User.V2" profile that we used with Win7 clients.  Now, with Win8 and Win8.1 we've configured the clients to use V3 and V4 profiles (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2887239/en-us).
That link is for the Win8 hotfix, which changes the roaming profile of users to .V3, but there's also one for 8.1 and it changes the profile folder to .V4.
Anyway, we have since deleted the Default User.V2 from our network.  In testing the creation of .V4 roaming profiles with Win8.1, I've figured out a little more about the WinX folder.  If I have a roaming profile and log into a Win8.1 computer
for the first time, the WinX folder is created as part of my profile during the "Hi, we're setting things up, many bright colors" spiel before you get to the Metro screen.  However, when I log out, because the WinX folder is in the Local AppData, it doesn't
get uploaded to my roaming profile location.  If I then log back into the same computer, everything is fine because that computer still has a local copy of my profile with WinX in the Local AppData.  However, if I log into any other computer, the
WinX folder doesn't get created and I can no longer right click on the Start menu (until I copy it to my Local AppData on that computer).
So, it seems that when I first log in to a Win8.1 computer and go through the "Hi....etc etc....many different colors" startup, the WinX folder is created and will work on that computer, but if I log into another computer, it isn't downloaded as part of
my roaming profile or re-created.  Also, if you have the GPO set to delete copies of roaming profiles off of the computer when a user logs out, I would guess that the WinX folder would then get deleted and when you log back in you'd have the same issue.

  • Create RightClick Events

I would like to know as to create events ( eliminate, save and cut) using RightClick in VB.Net for SAP B1.

    Hi Carlos,
First of all; copy, cut and paste are standard functionalities of SBO that occur on every text enabled field in SBO.
The example shows you how the rightclick event works.
    - A right click event occurs when a user right-clicks on a form (obvious )
    - You need to capture that event
    - On <i>BeforeAction = <b>true</b></i> you'll need to <b>add</b> your menu items to the rightclick menu
    - On <i>BeforeAction = <b>false</b></i> you'' need to <b>remove</b> those menuitems
That's all you need to do with the rightclick events. All that is left to do, to make something usefull off this, is capture the <b>menuevents</b> for the created menuitems, and create the functionality you need.
If this is not what you mean/need, <i>please provide us with <u>detailed</u> information what you need.</i>. We would like to help, but if you just post one line which could be interpreted in so many ways, we can't help you very much...
    Hope it helps,

  • How to use only one event case at a time??

Using LabVIEW, using the event structure is it possible to have only one event case execute at a time. For example, having event case controlled by keyboard, and the other event case controlled by mouse (clicking buttons) and only one being able to execute, not simultaneously. I was considering using a switch of some sort, but each case does not have a "stop if true/false" so I am open to a new method or work around. I attached code. I do not want output to be able to be sent from the keyboard case and mouse case at the same time.
    Thanks,

Ah, OK. all you need is to keep state in a shift register that ensures that all "key down/mouse down" events are discarded after each key down/mounse down event until a key up or mouse up (resp.) has occured.
Overall, you code is still way to complicated for this simple task. For example, you could eliminate all these "select" primitives and place the approriate diagram constant inside the respective case. On the other hand it is too simplistic, because you would think that certain key combinations should be allowed concurrently (e.g. up and left).
What does the receiver actually do with the codes? Do you have any documentation for this device?

  • New excel file cannot be opened with right click in any folder.

Usually I create a new file (.xlsx) by right click inside any folder of windows 7 . Recently I am observing that it is not being possible to create a new file (.xlsx) by right click when I am inside a folder. Whenever I right click in order to create a

I have turned off some option by mistake. Is there any solution to this problem? How can I have the opportunity again?

Thanks for your post, however, since this isnot an exchange issue, I recommend you post this in Windows Client Forum

  • Right click Open With sometimes not working (Photoshop Elements 9, Windows Vista)

We recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements 7 to Photoshop Elements 9. We are running Windows Vista.
Last night, my wife was right clicking on JPEG images in her My Pictures subfolders and choosing "Open With" to open the files with Photoshop Elements. In some cases, this worked. In other cases she would right click the file, Adobe Photoshop Elements would start, but the picture itself would not display.
I tested one of these pictures and was able to open it with other applications, and was able to open it by choosing "Open" from Photoshop Elements' file menu.
Has anyone run into this before? Why are some pictures not opening when you right-click and use "Open With"?

    Hi,
you can make PSE9 default program for opening any image on you vista machine.
    Then it souhld work fine.
    cheers,

  • Right click function in Java applet...

Hello, how's it going? I'm currently working on getting a pocket pc to load java applets through a web browser. I am currently using Netfront 3.0 for my browser and it contains JV-Lite 2 as its JVM. The applet loads and is functional. However, I am having issues with 'right clicking' functions. This particular applet is used as an interface for a building automation controller and it is necessary for right clicking to function (there are menus specific to functions that can only be accessed by right clicking). What are my options for fully functional java in a pocket pc web browser? Any help would be appreciated.
    Take care!
