Follow the steps to create client
1.create one client thru SCC4 Tcode and there make one entry for ur client number like 400 and then save.
2.Then Copy the Clent 000 to ur created client 400 thru SCCL Tcode,Here u mention the source clent as 000 and destination as 400.
Then login to 400 client with the default user name,Ask the person who installed SAP in ur system.
3.Then go to SU01 and there create the User which u want to create with the profile as SAP_ALL.
Now ur client and user is created in 400.

Images have been generated on that pdf but it is creating problem for large size images as half of the image disappeared from that pdf.I am taking the image inside a canvas . I am having a similar and more serious problem. It takes a
long time to execute, but even attaching a small image balloons the
pdf to 6MB plus. After a few images it gets up to 20MB. These are

How to create client stub while deployign EAR on Oracle Application Server

Hi,
I have deployed an EJB on Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.2.0.2. And i want to call this ejb from other app server using ejb client. For that i need client stub.
Is there any way I can create client stub while deploying EJB on the OC4J?
I am sure there will be some options.

It depends on which transport protocol you use to transmit both the client requests and the server responses: either IIOP or ORMI.
Here's how it works: if you've chosen the IIOP protocol, the client stubs are generated at deploy time and stored in the iiopClient.jar file. Once created, you append this file to your java client's classpath.
Now, if your choice is ORMI, the client stubs are created on demand by the container, so there is no need to append any jar file to the client classpath.
Consult the OC4J Services Guide in the Official Oracle Application Server docs for further inforrmation on this topic, specially the "Remote Method Invocation" chapter.

Error while creating Client Proxy from SE80

Hi all,
I am trying to create Client Proxy with WSDL through SE80. There is no involvement of XI to create the Proxy.
I am using the option 'Local file' and uploading the wsdl file.
But I am getting the following errors.
"Proxy-Generierung: Fehler aufgetreten"
"Exception occurred in library handler"
"Illegal syntax: Element header has invalid enhancement attribute

If any one could understand them and worked in a similar scenario, pls help me out.

but actually, the error message tells a lot:

the second colon(, the one between wsdl/ and required, makes this expression an illegal one in any kind of a URI-like meaning (namespace, ref-URL, ...)

Need some help in creating client proxy to call webservice

Hi experts,
I am new to ABAP so couldnt understand the SAP ABAP jargons.
On of my colleague has written one search help exit function and i need to use that and have to write client proxy to establish connection to webservice.
I never worked on proxy or webservice so, struggling to understand the concept and steps.
I am following second part i.e Release 640 part of /people/thomas.jung3/blog/2004/11/17/bsp-a-developers-journal-part-xiv--consuming-webservices-with-abap weblog.
I couldnt find "To get the process started, we turn to our old friend SE80. From the Enterprise Services Tab, we are going to select Client Proxy and then hit create"
when i go to transaction se80 ObjectNavigator, i could see two dropdown lists after some tabs.
in first list, I have selected, "Application Hierarchy", and in second I am selecting "Package".
Not sure whether its correct or not.
Once i do this i could see long list of Object name and its description.
Now, what should i do ? where should i go for "Enterprise Services Tab" to create my proxy.
Any help would be appreciated.
Please send me PDF, having detailed steps to create client proxy.

Right click on the package and select Proxy object. In the Wizard select Service Consumer.
then give the url of the WSDL file you want to access or path if u have a local file.
then give the package for client proxy.
then complete the wizard. the client proxy will be create in that package.
Next step will be creating a Logical Port using the transaction "lpconfig". Give the proxy name of the service interface created under client proxy. and set the configuration as follows.
1. Make as a default port.
2. in the URL, give the url of the webservice (.asmx)
3. select "State Enabled" and "Message ID"
and after creating a logical port, set the proxy settings as in your webbrowser.
(Http proxy server and port).
then simply execute your webservice from SE80.

While creating Client from SAP000,can we get any standard data?

Problem in creating client database..

I am trying to add publicaion Items by using APIs and then publishing it by Packaging Wizard.how can i create client data snapshot by using APIs.Beacuse I am not able to create any client database on downloading this application on client machine.

If you are new to oracle lite i would suggest you just use the MDK or wtgpack to create your first application as it guides you through more, before tackling the APIs (which need more understanding of the process).
The normal purpose of using oracle lite is to create a database on a client evice that is synchronised with the server database. In order to do this you will go through the following steps
1) define an 'application' (sometimes called a 'publication') - the name of this will be the name of the client database. basic things you do is give it a name and a destination platform (WIN32, PPC2003 etc.)
2) for each table you want in the client database, you define a 'publication item' (basically a snapshot definition). This needs an internal name (MDK/wtgpack creates these automatically in the format WTGPI_nnnnn), the base schema containg the table, the name of the table, the refresh mode (complete or fast), basic conflict resolution (client wins or server wins), dml flag (only if you want read only items), a priority order (the order of inserts if there are multiiple table to deal with parent/child relationships) and a SQL statement
The basic for the SQL statement is
select * from schema.table - this selects all data
if you want to restrict the data sent, then this can be either fixed for all users
select * from schema.table where id between 1000 and 2000
or using a bind variable
select * from schema.table where assigned_user=:username
3) once you have the application and publication items defined you publish it to the mobile server
4) in the mobile server manager you will now be able to see the application you have defined, and all of the meta data related to the publication items
5) you now create a user
6) after creating the user, you go to access and link them to the application, and if you used any bind variables go into data subsetting and set the value for that user
7) next on the client device you need to install the oracle lite client - easiest done by going into IE and the link <mobileserver>/webtogo/setup and follow the instructions
8) next on the client run msync, specify the user, password and server url and the database should download

Default username and password for newly created client in minisap

Hi all,
I am using the free SAP minisap provided by SAP. In this system i tried to create a user from tcode scc4 . when i try to login to the new client with the username SAP* and password minisap i am not able to login. What will be the default username and password for the newly created client in minisap.

In the new installation
The parameter
login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to " 1"
You create the parameter with value "0" & restart application server.
& Try to login into New client as SAP* with password "pass" - ( For a Standard System) - I don't what will be the default password in minisap.

Creating Client 800 For ECC 6.0

I have installed ECC 6.0 IDES in my PC,i able use 001 client with DDIC user name but iam unable to open 800 client.

As you said client 800 is already created in defult
Tcode SCC4 check whether you have 800 client entry there,if you have then try to login with to 800 with sap/pass if it doesn't work then you need to delete sap and so that it will be recreated and you can login with sap*/pass
Login to the SQL prompt and execute the following command.
sqlplus"/as sysdba"
sql>delete from sapsr3.usr02 where mandt='800' and BNAME="SAP*";
where,
SAPSR3 is the schema.
mandt is the client
Bname is the user name
You also need to check parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to 0 so you can logon as SAP* password pass,you can find this parameter at /usr/sap/SID/SYS/profiles in Default profile or Instance profile

The unsatisfied link error should be because sapjco.jar cannot link to the sapjco.dll.
I tried to simulate the problem by
1) Opening a java perspective.
2) Create a new 'java' project.
3) Add libraries sapjco.jar from the path <Drive>:\Program Files\SAP\JDT\eclipse\plugins\com.sap.mw.jco\lib
You will see sapjcorfc.dll in this path
4)Add a new class file ,Wrote a sample jco code and executed and it worked..
The key is to have the sapjcorfc.dll in the same directory as sapjco.jar

Creating client proxy in ABAP failed

Hello,
I tried to create a client proxy for a WebService and got the same error like in this thread: [Error when create client proxy in ABAP; "Exception occured in library handler".
I've got only a little of knowledge about SOAP that's why I cannot edit the WSDL File. But I think there is no mistake in the WSDL. I used one in Visual C# and it works.
Is it possible to change settings of the proxy generator to ignor non-SOAP bindings?

Dear Experts,
I have an existing SAP system and I created new client via SCC4 without doing any client copy (means it's blank).
Can I logon to the newly created client via SAP* (since there's no other user id) and run Solution Builder to activate those SAP best practices Building Block? Will that affect other existing client (what I mean, will there be a cross-client customizing?

Yes, You can login to newly created client via SAP*. However, running or activation on empty client is not advisable.
Please copy the Newly created client from 000 or 001 and start the activation.

Essbase Administration Console error "failed to create client directory to write error file"

I am getting the following error while trying to load data using EAS v11.1.2.3
"failed to create client directory to write error file"
Any known root cause for this.

Check the default error directory while loading data? The error file in 11.1.2.2 points to C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\eas\client, which is already on the system where EAS is installed.
If the folder is not there then it is a bug, however you can change it to an existing path.

Failed to create client for Net8 Service

Using Windows 2000.
I have tried to install Oracle Forms and Reports 6i and Oracle 8i Personal Edition six times now with no success. I install Forms and Reports first. However, I am unable to get past an error when installing the Reports. The error message states "Failed to create client for Net8 Service". I get the erro about 30 seconds into the installation of Reports. Forms installs just fine.
The procedure I am using can be found at course.com using the ISBN # 0-619-03549-8 and the instructions for the 2nd edition of the "Enhanced Guide to Oracle 8i" by Morrison and Morrison for Windows 2000. This is for a class that I am taking at DeVry.
I have followed the instructions to a "T" during the installation process and also for when I uninstall the software to try it again.
Is there a simple answer to why the software can't create the Client for Net8 Service?
Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried to install forms in windows XP also. getting the same error message. One more thing. I was trying install forms and reports. If 'm installing forms first,It'll get installed with out any probs. Then this error will come in reports installation and vice versa.. 'm getting it from 3 workstations. plssss help me....

Create client classes in Abstract Factory

Let's we have one of the next classes in AbstractDesign patterns:
1.WindowFactory - abstract factory
2.MotifWindowFactory, MacWindowFactory - concrete factory
3.Window - abstract product

5.Client - client class
6.ClientCreator - class that creates our client class
The source code of Client is like this:

Client clientN = new Client(new MacWindowFactory());results in the creation of a factory for each client. This is unnecessary. Typically, you'd use a singleton here - this is mentioned in GoF 1995:
Client client1 = new Client(MacWindowFactory.getInstance());
Client clientN = new Client(MacWindowFactory.getInstance());This means that only one factory is created (assuming a singleton implementation within MacWindowFactory.getInstance).
This approach ties each client creation to a given factory type. If you want all clients to use the same factory type, then you would change the code to:
Client client1 = new Client(WindowFactory.getInstance());
Client clientN = new Client(WindowFactory.getInstance());where WindowFactory would return the appropriate factory type. Now if WindowFactory is an interface, then you create a "Factory Factory", or "Factory Manager". i.e.
Client client1 = new Client(WindowFactoryManager.getFactoryInstance());
Client clientN = new Client(WindowFactoryManager.getFactoryInstance());The implemenetation of getFactoryInstance can work any of many ways. If you've only one concrete WindowFactory for now, then hard code it into getFactoryInstance. If you have many, then you could have a setFactoryInstance method on WindowFactoryManager. Or getFactoryInstance could use reflection to create a factory based on a Property, etc.
