Creating the container Object In Java Mapping

Hi,
i I have a scenarion where i have to set some parameter in the COntainer from the Java Mapping.
How can i get a reference to the current Container object from my Java Mapping . While using user defined function this object is already avaliable as a parameter and we do not have to create it .But in java mapping how do i get the current container object.
regards
Nilesh Taunk.

Nilesh,
sorry.. I think this is actually possible.
In the setParameter()
public static AbstractTrace trace;
public void setParameter(Map param) {
          map = param;
          trace =
               (AbstractTrace) param.get(
                    StreamTransformationConstants.MAPPING_TRACE);
Likewise, in this method setParameter, you can get and set Container objects.
I have shown how to use the TRACE .
Sorry for the confusion

Bhavesh

  • Fill Container Object in Java Mapping

    Hi Everyone,
    I use BPM and defined a container object of type integer. Now I want to fill this container object in Java Mapping. After I fill it in the next step there is a switch using the value of the container.
    How can I fill the container in Java Mapping?
    Thanks for the input.

    How can I fill the container in Java Mapping?
    Mandatory to fill the container in JAVA Mapping? If not then you can try the below:
    1) Define a Container Object...already done
    2) Let the JAVA Mapping create the required message....transformation step.
    3) include a Container Operation before the Switch step (and after the Transformation)
    4) Mode as Assign...Target will  be your Container Object (integer)....Expression will be the node from the output message of JAVA mapping.

    Abhishek.

  • Using Container Object in Java Mapping

    Hi All,
    I need to use a Container object inside a Java Mapping, just like the one wich is used in the Graphical Mapping.
    Here is the scenario:
    I have an Interface Mapping with three steps on it.
    The first step is a Java Mapping just to put some info in the Container. The second step is a XSLT transformation that uses an XSLT file to transforms from IDOC to xCBL. The third step is another Java Mapping that get the info from the Container and insert in the xCBL.
    Does any one knows how to do it inside the Java Mapping Code? We cannot make modifications in the XSLT file because of some internal restrictions.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    If you make the container variable is a part of your message (input of Java Mapping) then you can access as normal fields.
    Just have a look at these discussions-

    Hope this helps,

  • Class for creating the container in web dympro like include INCLUDE OBJECT

    Hi how can we use the macros swc_container. swc_set*** .. etc in webdynpro . ??
    I have to pass some vaules to the event container .
    As we cant user includes in webdynpro is there a class to carry out the same task .
    i.e;Class for creating the container in web dympro like include INCLUDE <OBJECT> or INCLUDE <cntn01>.
    Thanks ,

    Hi,
    You had the same question in worfklow forum. I suggest you to include your non-OO-compliant code to for example a function module. OR even better, you might want to take a look to function modules SAP_WAPI*. There are plenty of standard functions, which you can use to do the same things as the macros you are now trying to use. For example raising workflow events, etc.

  • Container Object in Java Class

    Hello ,
    I have a Mapping program using java class type (Java SAX in this case).  I need to access some Runtime constants and the mapping trace object.
    In message mapping is simple. We can use the container object that is pass to a UDF and the GlobalContainer Object.
    But how can I access the  Runtime constants  and mapping trace without a container object ?.
    Any ideas...?
    Thanks in advance.
    Yuvan D.

    in Your java mapping class
    you should import import com.sap.aii.mapping.api.*;
    public void execute(InputStream input, OutputStream output)
            throws StreamTransformationException {
            AbstractTrace trace = null;
            String RESULT = new String();
            trace =
                (AbstractTrace) param.get(
                    StreamTransformationConstants.MAPPING_TRACE);
    trace.addInfo(doc.toString());

  • How to create the exe files for java application

    How to create the exe file for java application?
    got any software to do that?
    Thanks

    In terms of converting java applications into exe files, there are 3 schools of thought:
    1) Instead of converting it to an exe, convert it to a jar file. Jar files are more portable than exe files because they can be double-clicked on any operating system. The caveat is that a Java interpreter must be installed on the target computer for the double-clicking to work.
    http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/Books/javaprogramming/JAR/
    2) Create an exe launcher that, when double-clicked, attempts to find a Java interpreter on the local computer and launches the Java application. The exe file is still double-clickable but whether your java application runs depends on whether a Java interpretor is installed on the target computer.
    http://www.sureshotsoftware.com/exej/
    http://www.objects.com.au/products/jstart/index.jsp
    http://www.duckware.com/products/javatools.html
    http://www.ucware.com/jexec/
    http://www.rolemaker.dk/nonRoleMaker/javalauncher/
    http://www.jelude.cjb.net/
    http://thor.prohosting.com/~dfolly/java/index.html
    3) Create an exe launcher that bundles a Java interpretor. Same as above but when the exe file is double-clicked, it searches for a Java interpreter and if one is not found, it installs one on the target computer. The caveat is that the exe file would have an overhead of 10 MB in size for the interpreter.
    http://www.excelsior-usa.com/jet.html (evaluation version available)
    4) Convert the Java application into a native exe file. The caveat is that if you use Swing for your GUI, it won't be converted. Also this option is still somewhat experimental.
    Can't think of any free options right now.

  • Start and stop the Communication channel from Java Mapping

    How to start and stop the Communication channel from Java Mapping in XI 3.0
    Scenario  PI - > MQ -> Third Party web application
    Web application is down and then Communication channels are stop manually .
    We need to automate this process,
    MQ Solution - Trigger will be set in MQ which will be called when web application is stopped
    Trigger will send u201CSTOP u201C message to PI
    How to configure PI scenario to stop different com channels when this message received ?

    check this link: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/45/0c86aab4d14dece10000000a11466f/frameset.htm
    make sure that MQ send http request to PI. i dont think a configuration scenario is required in PI. Only roles should be enabled with proper user provided to MQ team.
    However, for security reasons, you can configure a scenario if you dont want to expose PI infrastructure directly to 3rd parties.

    could not edit original smart object because the application which created the smart object could not be launched

    Hi there,
    I got this problem when I installed Adob master collection Over CS 5.
    I had children book story storis which created in Adobe illustrator CS 5 and I created art boards in Adobe photoshop cs 5.
    After installting CS 6 i tried to edit the smart objects and it was not opeinging the smart object file in Illustrator.
    I did some tests.
    1) Right click on smart object layer and click export contents. Save on desktopp or anywhere you want. (I saved on desktop)
    2) I had this file on my desktop (Vector Smart Object10.ai) but it didn't show any icon, which program should open this type of file.
    3) Double click on the file and it pop up a extension window 'Click on change and select adobe illustrator' and press OK.
    4) Go back to your photoshop file and right click on smart object layer and click dit content. now this time it opens up assets in illustrator.
    ENJOY!
    Thanks

  • How to create the digital clock in java swing application ?

    I want to create the running digital clock in my java swing application. Can someone throw some light on this how to do this ? Or If someone has done it then can someone pl. paste the code ?
    Thanks.

    hi prah_Rich,
    I have created a digital clock you can use. You will most likely have to change some things to use it in another app although that shouldn't be too hard. A least it can give you some ideas on how to create one of your own. There are three classes.One that creates the numbers. a gui class and frame class.
    cheers:)

  • Create DBF (dBaseiV) file in Java mapping

    Hello.
    I have one scenario: Abap Xi -> SAP PI -> 3 Party(dbf file).
    First, i made java mapping using java library com.linuxense.javadbf, but problem - not matching versions DBF (dBaseIII). This version does not suit the customer.
    Then I tried to use java library org.xBaseJ  and I have a problem with preservation of fractional numbers (FloatField). Maybe somebody have expirience how to create dbf (dBaseIV) using Java mapping? Or it possible create dbf file (dBaseIV) in ABAP?

    this is the code that I have used in a hp project:
    private static final String DELIMIT = ",";
    StringBuffer buf = new StringBuffer();
    public void addString(String str){
    buf.append(toEscapedStringLiteral(str.replaceAll(" ","").trim())).append(DELIMIT);
    public void sendFile( String strData ,
                                String strTitle,
                                String strContType,
                                HttpServletResponse res ) throws IOException {
              byte[] _filedata=strData.getBytes();
              res.setContentType( strContType );
              res.setHeader( "Content-Disposition", "attachment;filename="+ strTitle );
                     DataOutputStream out = new DataOutputStream( res.getOutputStream() );
              out.write( _filedata, 0, _filedata.length );
              out.close();
    public void addStringWhithReturn(String str){
              buf.append(toEscapedStringLiteral(str.replaceAll(" ","").trim()));
              buf.append( "\n" );
    private String toEscapedStringLiteral( String charSeq ) {
              if ( null == charSeq ) {
                   charSeq = "";
              return "\"" + charSeq + "\"";
    ....hope its help

  • Container object in Message Mapping

    Hello
    I am having a scenario where I want to reuse the previous value of a map to calculate another value.For the same I tried container parameters in Message Mappings by using a simple Java function calling
    container.getGlobalContainer().setParameter("test","value");
    in another simple user defined java method I used container.getGlobalContainer().getParameter("test").
    But my target value is coming as null.
    Anybody knows how to use container methods to reuse values in Message Mappings??
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Rajeev

    Hi,
    There is also another method by which you can use values across different functions.
    IN your Integration Builder, while you are in your Message Mapping, under the Design tab there is a small menubar.
    Choose the rightmost option which is called Edit Java Sections. Using this you can use global variables which have a scope of the entire mapping. That means you can use them anywhere in the mapping.
    Only remember to populate the variables with valid data before using them in other functions.
    Let me explain with an example.
    Once you click on Java sections, a smaller box opens up which has 3 fields.
    Under the first field called Global Variables we can give something like:
    String a;
    Under second field called Initialization Section we can give:
    a = " ";
    Now we can use this variable a in any UDF to store some value and this same variable can be used again to retrieve the value.
    This eliminates the need of using containers within the same mapping.
    Glad to be able to help.

  • Is the JTS Transaction Manager Java Mapping of Corba OTS using JSE Impl?

    Hi All,
    I was reading the Java Transaction Service Specification .95 Draft, and I am curious if the Java Mapping of Corba OTS 1.1 Interfaces Implementation is generally referring to the Java Standard Edition implementation of these classes, specifically the IDL code that is converted into Java classes in the tools.jar. I attempted to manually compile the IDL code in the OMG Transaction Service Specification 1.4 using idlj in JDK 1.6 and ran into one compilation issue after another, until I realized The CosTransactions Module, and other required Corba IDL interface are already converted into Java classes in the tools.jar of the JDK. My assumption was I should map directly to the classes in the JDK if I create a Java Transaction Manager for the Java Transaction Service Specification?
    Any help you can provide on this subject will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Aaron

  • Error while creating the proxy object to connect to a third party tool.

    Hi,
    I tried creating a proxy object with the wsdl file. I even created a HTTP connection to the third party tool. but when I try to execute the whole proxy object, I am getting the below error. Can anyone help me on this?
    "Proxy-Generierung: Fehler aufgetreten"
    "Incorrect value: Entity "<<document>>"(92 /3788 ). end tag 'ul' does not match begin tag 'p'"
    Thanks & Regards,
    Veerabhadra Rao A.

    do a check on the wsdl file and how you are passing values in the proxy. The tags for XML are not correct. Open the WSDL in IE and see there must be an error. Or probably when passing the actual values to the XML generated each element is not closed properly. Error says tags dont match.

  • Retrieval of the column name in Java Mapping

    Hi All
    I am presently working on JAVA mapping which retrives the data construct the xml I want to dynamically generate the xml tag name (table column names of the Table) is there any way to do it
    Thanks
    Jayaraman

    Hi,
    You can get column names from database tables as...
    ResultSet resultSet=statement.executeQuery("select * from table");
    resultSetMetadata=resultSet.getMetaData();
    String col1 = resultSetMetadata.getColumnLabel(1);  ---> to get first column name
    and use in XML node creation as...
    Document document = DocumentHelper.createDocument();
    Element root = document.addElement("Root");
    Element Node1 = document.addElement(col1);
