Creation of an order with hundreds items

Hi everybody,
we need to create orders containing more than 400 items and we have all the items details into an excel file.
We can copy and past (for example the material code) only few items (about 17).
Is there a smart way to copy and paste all the items in a single step without the creation of a custom programs?
Thanks in advance for your support

Hi MassiSap,
I think you will be better off creating an item proposal via SAP transaction VA51. Just create your proposal or proposals here by copying the material numbers in the list, give it a proposal number and when you create a sales document via VA01 you can click on the "Propose Items" widget in the top left of the screen. Then search or input you proposal document you created, and there are your items. Let me know if you need anymore help with this creation.

    Regards,
    Mackoy

    Dear Machoy,
    In IMG under
    Sales and Distribution -> Sales -> Sales Documents -> Maintain Copy Control for Sales Documents -> Copying Control: Sales Document to Sales Document
    or Transaction VTAA
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/70/a7853478616434e10000009b38f83b/frameset.htm
    If you create a sales document with reference to a preceding document, the system copies nearly all the data from the preceding document. The data in the preceding document originally comes from the customer and material master records. Because the data is copied from the preceding documents into the sales document, any changes that have been made to the master data records since the preceding document was created are not included in the sales document. If, when you create with reference, you add another item to the document that was not in the preceding document, the system determines the data for it from the master records, such as the material master or info record.
    You have created an inquiry and a quotation with reference to this inquiry. Before you created the quotation, you changed some data in the material and customer master records.
    You have changed the material description in the material master record. This description is stored in the sales document at item level.
    You have changed the terms of payment in the customer master record from ZB01 to ZB03. These are stored in the sales document at header level.
    When you created the inquiry, the system copies the original material description to the item. If you enter another item in the quotation for the same material, the system displays the new material description for the new item.
    However, the system continues to propose the original term of payment, that is, ZB01, for all items including the new one. This is because it is copied from the header of the preceding document into the header of the quotation, and the change in the customer master record has no affect on the quotation.

  • HOW TO CONTROL ON CREATION OF SALES ORDER WITH REFERENCE TO EARLIER SO?

    Nikhil

    Nikhil Deshpande,
          If you dont want allow create a sales order in referent to other one, just delete the copy control between these sales order type, so when the user tries to create a SO in reference to other one a message is displayed that is not possible.
    Thanks,

  • Creation of production order with reference to sales order

    dear all guru's,
                       i m having a requirement of creating production order with ref to sales order but without changing my old strategy of make to stock.
    regards
    ujwal

    Hi,
    For the purpose of creation of production order with reference to sales order while maintaing MTS strategy you need to maintain Make to stock strategy 40 in strategy group in MRP-3 View of Material Master.
    This is the only Make-to-Stock Strategy which enables you create Production Order against both Sales order as well as Demand / PIR.
    So if your strategy group is already 40 then you need not change it.
    However if you are using any other Make-to - Stock strategy like 10, 11 etc. then it is not possible to create Production Order against Sales Order since they dont consider Sales Order in planning.So you need to change them and set strategy group as 40.
    Hope this helps.
    Revert if you have any doubt.

  • Creation of service order with address data.

    Hello community,
    I have the following requirement: create maintenance orders with order address data, the creation of these orders will be triggered by an interface with a legacy system.
    For order creation I intend to use BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN but this function does not provide the possibility to enter address information.
    I would not like to have to create a partner and assign it to the order as this address will be used only once.
    Does anyone have suggestions how to do it ?.
    Thanks.

    Roberto,
    Try this:
    *& Report  ZPJA_ADDR_TX

    data: lt_adrc1 type  standard table of addr1_data with header line.

  • Creation of sales order with reference - Zfields in Add data B are not cop

    Hi all,
              Please help me in the issue . I am creating sales order with reference to returns order . All item fields are getting copied but the Zfields which are added in addtional data b of sales order are not getting copied. Can anyone please let me know the procedure to copy the custom fields.
    Thanks in advance,

    The setting of field when copy by reference is best done in the copy rules.
    If you go to transaction VTAA, and look to the order type you are copying to, you will find a data transfer rule number.
    Then go to transaction VOFM, menu option DATA TRANSFER -> ORDERS and find the matching data transfer rule number.
    Select and press the "Source text"  button, here you will find the data from the copied order in structure CVBAK, and you can apply the code to set the VBAK structure fields appropriately.
    This should then populate the data on the copied order.

  • BAPI for creation of Production Order with Ref to sales order

    Hi all,
    we are using BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE  for creating Production Order with ref to sales order.
    As per the Business Scenario, we are not creating any masters like BOM and Routing, instead
    we are creating Routing directly into the Production Order under operation overview screen.
    during creation of routing system is generating a default operation.
    the following is the error results after running the Bapi.
    "No routing selected"
    Best Regards.
    GTNRNR.

    Hi GTNRNR,
    with out creation of BOM you created routing and in routing for the operations which components did you allocated so that can be used to manufacture the final product. Can you be please specific?

    Please suggest me which settings i need to maintained to resolve the above issues.

    Hi,
    You need to maintain the logistic seetings Transactions>>Settings for Service>>Integration>> Logistic Integration>>Define Logistic Scenario for Service Material.
    There you need to maintain a Purchase Requistion document type for item category. Hope this will resolve the error.
    Thanks

  • Save Order with an item not confirmed

    Hello Folks!
    I hope you can have an answer for me:
    I have a sales order with 10 line items. Nine of them have enough stock to be covered but just one not. Currently I can not  save the sales order with the confirmation of the other 9 line items until this item without stock could be covered. This makes this order useless because my customer is complaining.
    What are the modifications needed in the system so that:
    - I keep the 10 line items,
    - confirm only 9 of them
    - leave 1 item pending until the stock arrives ( I do not want to delete the line item without stock from the order. I would like to keep it as it comes from the original order
    Any idea on how to solve this issue?
    Thanks for you time

    Hi María del Carmen,
    I think you should review it with your SD consultant. At first glance is  strange that it errors out instead of warning you, which would still allow you to save the order.
    I think some leads to the problem area: It could be the sales order type has an incompletion log rule that doesn't allow to save the sales order unless the stock is available  or the definiton of  schedules lines, at the order type level, requires stock availability for every line item of the order.
    Hope this helps.

  • Sales order with line items having multiple values in multiple currency

    Please suggest solution for creating sales order having line items with multiple values in multiple currencies.
    e.g. Line Item A Qty/1 No,  value 100INR100$100EUR. Customer wants all three values to display at sales order line item level and create billing in 3 currencies.

    Hi,
    As far as my understanding it may be possible round the solution,
    For 1 company code we can able to maintain 3 currancies,
    1 currancy is hard currance & other two are dual currancies.
    Create sales order with 3 line items having 3 diffrant currancies
    Spilt invoice on the basis of currancy
    Last pass to this invoices to accounting.
    Whole process is
    Sales order >>> Delivery >>> Invoice 1, Invoice 2, Invoice 3(Split invoice on basis of Currancy).
    Consult with FI Team they will tell you about dual currancy & hard currancy

  • Problems for creating a delivery from a order with less items

    hye, I have created a delivery from a sales order and all is ok. So, If I put less quantity in severals items, the delivery is generated ok and the sales order is OPEN status.
    Now , I want to generate a delivery from sales order, but I don´t want to include in my delivery all sales order's items. For example, if I have in my sales order four items (Itm1,Itm2,Itm3,Itm4) with theirs quantity, by SDK I want to generate the Delivery with Itm2 and Itm3 only. I can't do that. I hate It,jajajajajaja.
    With the next FOR, I get do it with all Items but I don´t know to say it that when status = 0 "jump" this item.
             delivery.CardCode = Order.CardCode
             delivery.DocDueDate = Order.DocDueDate
             delivery.DocDate = Order.DocDate
             For i = 0 To Order.Lines.Count - 1
                 delivery.Lines.BaseType = 17
                 delivery.Lines.BaseEntry = Order.DocEntry
                 Status = 1
                  If Status <> 0 Then
                       delivery.Lines.BaseLine = place
                       If i <> Order.Lines.Count - 1 Then
                          delivery.Lines.Add
                          place = place + 1
                       End If
                  End If
              Next
         retval = delivery.Add
    Thanks and I hope to get a solution.

    What is "it" that you cannot do (+ hate)???
    What is "status"? LineStatus???
    What is your problem when you try to skip an item?
    PS: You should always use enums instead of hard-coded values e.g.: Use the BoAPARDocumentTypes Enumeration for delivery.Lines.BaseType
