Creation of BP relationship " Has the responsible Scrapper" in CRM BP

Hi,
I am trying to create a BP relation ship " Has the responsible Scrapper" using the BAPI: BAPI_BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_CREATE between two BPs say BP1 to BP2 with the rel.type code as CRMS03. However it is creating the relation ship as "IS responsible scrapper". Is there a way or code to be used to create the correct relationship without interchanging the BPs.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Ayaz,
BP1 has relation 'Is the Responsible Scrapper For' with BP2 where as BP2 has relation 'Has the Responsible Scrapper' with BP1. So interchange your partners while passing them to FM.

  • Automatic creation of BP relationship at the time of creation of BP

When a user creates a new account using BP transaction we need to create a 'Has the responsible employee' relationship automatically. If we try to create the same on save ( Using function BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_CREATE in BAdI PARTNER_UPDATE ) it doesn't work as the account would not have got created at the time of save. Hence we took a different approach of trying to create the relationship when the user clicks on 'Relationship' button ( in portal it is 'Relationship' tab ). We couldn't find a suitable BAdI which would contain the details of the recently created account as its import parameter.  Is there any other approach we could use to solve this issue? Please let me know your ideas on the same.

    Hi,
You can implement this functionality using the BDT.
--> in the PAI event, update the relationships in memory using function BUB_BUPA_RELATIONS_MODIFY.
For BDT use, take a look at the following thread:
Re: How do I update custom fields in a partner when I save the record?

  • Automatic creation of BP relationship while BP is created

We are implementing CRM SALES and using Portal as the user interface.
The requirement is that a Sales Rep should be able to see only the
accounts and contacts (which is nothing but Business partners in the
GUI side) that they have created when they list account using  "My
Accounts" in Portal. We are configuring Portal in a such a way that
"My Accoounts" is the only view available for Sales Rep portal.
I have tested and found that if a relationship category of "is the
reponsible employee" is created from  the sales rep to the Account OR
Contact then that account or contact will be displayed in the "My
Accounts" or "My Contact"view in Portal.
But requesting a Sales Rep to create the relationship for every
Account and Contact that they create in CRM will NOT be accpetable at
    all.
Hence I am looking for an option with which a relationship of "is the
Responsible Employee" can be created automatically when an account or
contact is created by the Sales Rep.
Please let me know your ideas.

    Hi Rajadurai,
In the BADI - BUPA_FURTHER_CHECKS implement the method - CHECK_CENTRAL.
The following code could serve your purpose:
IF IV_ACTIVITY eq '01'. "Check if it is for creation
      CALL FUNCTION 'BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_CREATE'
       EXPORTING
        IV_PARTNER_1 = IV_PARTNER
IV_PARTNER_2 = LV_createdby "BP no of the creator
        IV_RELATIONSHIP = 'BUR011' "Code for emp. resp
        IV_DATE_FROM = SY-DATLO
        IV_DATE_TO = '99991231'.

  • In CRM relationship appends the Changed partner function in R/3 -Middleware

    Hi Experts,
Partner functions in R/3 are mapped as relationship categories in CRM and the transfer is happening through middleware.
However if I change the BP for an existing partner function in R/3, it is not changing the BP in corresponding relationship in CRM.Instead it is adding a new relationship category.
Currently we are in CRM2007(6.0 version).
    Ex.
    - An account in R/3 has a partner function "Sold to Party" as BP Id "01234". This does create a relationship category in CRM "has sold to party" with BP Id 01234. -- it is working fine.
    - Later if I "change" the BP id 01234 to a new BP Id "05678" in R/3 for Sold to Party partner function, it does not update the relationship category in CRM. Instead it adds a new relationship category for "Sold to Party" with BP Id 05678.  This is issue now.
We dont want to create a new relationship, instead we would like to update the relationship for new BP Id.
If anyone has any any clue how to resolve this, please share your thoughts. It is a very critical requirement.
    Appreciate your help on this.
    appends relationship in CRM

    Hi Shourav,
Thanks for your reaply. I agree with you for the general scenario. But my question is littlebit different what you understand.
I try to explain little bit detail this time.. Hope you undrstood my issue.
We are facing issue in partner relationship deletion  functionality from ECC to CRM.
Issue: Partner functions in R/3 are mapped as relationship categories in CRM and the transfer is happening through middleware.
However if I change the BP for an existing partner function in R/3, it is not changing the BP in corresponding relationship in CRM. Instead it is adding a new relationship category.
    Ex.
    - An account in R/3 has a partner function "Sold to Party" as BP Id "01234" and a partner function relationship as ship to party with BP id  u201C05678u201D  and it is replicating this relationship correctly in CRM .
    - Later if I "change" the BP id 05678 to a new BP Id "05679" in R/3 for Sold to Party partner function, it does not update the relationship category in CRM. Instead it adds a new relationship category for "Sold to Party" with BP Id 05679. This is issue now.
Any notes or work around solution for this issue is helpfull.

    Hi
This is an old post but did you come right?

  • Is it possible to delete a relationship from the BP ?

    Hello experts,
I'd would like to replace a function partner SH (having the same number as the DO) by another  from R3 to CRM5.
At the begining i have in R3 this partner
    AG 3901007
    RE 3901007
    RG 3901007
    WE 3901007
In R3 by the transaction VD02, I replace the partner SH by another
After the modify i have in R3.
    AG 3901007
    RE 3901007
    RG 3901007
    WE 5000000
When the replication is done in CRM using BDOC, i can see, by the transaction BP
the new ship to party partner(5000000) .
    The trouble is :
When customer access to ISA (standard version) to order product, he can select the partner 3901007 as shipping adress.
By ISA, he should have the partner 5000000 only.
Is it standard or is it a sap trouble ?
Is it possible to delete a relationship from the BP ?
I don't want to delete the BP partner, i just want to delete the relationship when then BDOC arrive in CRM.
i have found the oss note 596334 497146 757955 too but it doesn't bring me a solution.
    Best regards
    Christophe

    Hello
When you delete a Partner Function in R/3 the corresponding relationshipdoesn't get deleted in CRM. This is standard SAP behavior and not a
bug. Reason for this behavior has been explained in Note 490454.
You can change this behavior by implementing Note 497146. Also check
the note 682427 which will help you in clearing old data.

  • Where to find the information regarding relationships between the tables?

I am developing a Windows based app which among other things let’s users view SAP table schema and relationships.
If I use SAP GUI and dig up a bit on say the MARA table I can see that
Material Master (MARA) is related with
    1) MaterialDescription (MAKT) on columns MANDT and MATNR
    2) MaterialPlantData (MARC) on columns MANDT and MATNR
    and so on…
My question is - in which table the information regarding relationships between the tables is stored? There must be a data dictionary table which would be storing the relationships data. Which is it? Note: I will programatically access the table, NOT from the UI.

    Thanks a lot...
I am still working on it, but here are the current findings. DD05S, DD08L and DD08T: The schemas for these tables were very promising for the thing I was looking for. Unfortunately the data within dose not seem to serve my exact purpose.
I found another one DD26S, which has almost 90% of the relationships I wish to explore. Do you know what is it supposed to contain?
Thanks a lot for your help.

  • Anyone has the basic intro of FI terms explaination in SD?

    Hi Team,
Is there any one has the basic intro for FI terms in SD? Coz i really quite not understand those FI terms like G/L account/Accout group/revenue account determination..etc.
And what kind of deep relation between FI and SD.
    Thank you!!

    Hoo Laa
    1)  G/L Account
To create accruals and post payables, the system must first of all determine the correct G/L accounts for posting in FI.
In short, we can also call G/L Account as a book of final entry summarizing all of a company's financial transactions, through offsetting debit and credit accounts.
    2)  Account Group
Using the account group, you can group the G/L accounts according to functional area.
You can define any number of hierarchical structures of accounts for use in the information system, allocations and planning. These structures are called "Account Groups".  Each account group is assigned to a chart of accounts. You can only use an account group in multiple controlling areas if those controlling areas use the same chart of accounts.
The account group also defines the set up when creating a G/L account in the company code and chart of accounts. By defining the number interval and the screen layout, you simplify G/L account creation by reducing the number of entry fields.
    3)  Revenue Account Determination
You can define the Revenue Account for transferring billing values from SD to FI module. Revenue account determination is carried out using the condition technique.
Many companies require that revenues are calculated according to time period. This means that the revenues must be implemented in the posting period, in which the service was carried out, and not in the posting period in which the billing document was set up. The revenue recognition function in the SAP R/3 system helps you to fulfil these requirements and separate revenue recognition from the billing process. The R/3 system offers a flexible solution to companies using various methods of revenue recognition

  • "Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel"

During the configuration of DUET_E , when calling the DUET Application from SharePoint, the following error is shown :
"Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority 'MYSAPNW702SERVER:8001'"
I have already seen the Post :
Error in DUET Configuration at SSL
This mentions the error, but does not provide any answers on resolution.
The DUET_E troublshooting guide suggests that the SAP Standard SSL Certificate is added to SharePoint Central Admin > Security > Manage Trusts
    This has also been done.
We are using the Standard SAP SSL Self signed certificate - not one signed by an external CA.
Can anyone provide any guidance ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Min,
reading through your first post the problem might be the CN of the certificate. If you used the Wizard or the default way to create a self signed certicate, it is probably created with the CN server.domain (the fully qualified name of the server).
However, when you created the BDC models the URLs pointing to the WSDL is probably only the servername (at least that is what I would assume after seeing your error message).
Because of that SharePoint calls the SAP Duet server with the severname, but the certificate presented by the SAP system is not the servername, but the fully qualified servername. Because of that -- although SharePoint trusts the certificate -- the URL and certificate do not match and you get the error "Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority 'MYSAPNW702SERVER:8001"
If that is the case you have two options:
    1) you go to STRUST and create a new SSL certificate that has a CN of only the servername. Then you export this certificate and trust it in SharePoint
    2) or -- and this is the way I would recommend -- you try to adjust the URL used in the BDC model. Usually you get only the servername (and not the fully qualified DNS name) when you have not specified the profile parameter  icm/host_name_full. Which URL is currently used when you start transaction SAML2 or SOAMANAGER? If you have not yet set icm/host_name_full, then give this a try.

    Holger.

  • Multiple referenced relationships over the same intermediate dimension - generated processing query

Hi, I know the title is a bit confusing so let me try to explain it:
I have added 3 new dimensions do the AdventureWorks cube - RefA, RefB and RefC:
They are all related to the DimReseller table, and finally, to the FactResellerSales table. In the dimension usage chart, you can see that there are 4 referenced relationships using the Reseller dimension as the intermediate dimension. The Geography

As you can see in the comments, the generated query contains 1 join on the referenced table
per referenced relationship. This can slow down the processing if both the Fact table and the Referenced Dimension table are big (and they usually are, otherwise the design would be different). The thing is, all 4 tables are filtered in the
WHERE clause on the same condition, which makes perfect sense. This leads to the conclusion that all 4 columns could have been read from a single join.
I was quite surprised by this kind of query generation and I can't seem to find a reason why this would be so, or how it could be avoided. Naturally, the RefAKey, RefBKey, RefCKey columns could be added to the Fact table, eliminating the need for referenced
relationships, but this would add 3*4 bytes per row to the Fact table. The Fact table in my real example contains around 3 billion rows, so adding extra bytes is painful. (Yes, it's partitioned but still ... )
The referenced relationships could also be "dematerialized" by removing the famous Materialize check in the relationship settings. Then again, this would issue a join to the referenced tables at query time, slowing down the query.
Has anyone been profiling processing queries like this one and stopped to think about it?

I don't believe it's on the Essbase side, as it uses a fairly standard API to allow string input to such things, and it's limitation is well beyond 512 chars even for a direct formula input.<BR><BR>I instead suspect that a carriage return/line feed is being inserted by the ODBC driver as part of it's output formatting, and this is causing the API to consider the input record "completed." I could be wrong, of course, but if you examine the Memo field closely, you may find the formatting to have migrated to the Access database, and even if not, you are still using ODBC to access it on the output side, so we're back to the same issue.<BR><BR>Perhaps it really is an issue related to the ODBC drivers in Essbase, but it's not unique to dim build, to formulas, or Essbase for that matter. Allowing a single field to <i>output</i> more than 512 chars in a single field is where I believe you will find the real issue.<BR><BR>Again, we need an ODBC expert to weigh in on this. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><BR>

  • SAP TDMS - Could not copy A002 Relationships to the target system

    Hi,
I had used HCM package for PD & PA from TDMS to transfer the Organizational Management data for couple of records. Everything went fine except that the A002 relationship records were not copied to the target system.
I had verified the target ranges that were defined and it has the Object Type "S" included in it.
But still the A002 relationship records were not copied.
Can anyone help me out with a solution on how to transfer the A002 Relationship records to the target system?.
I had defined the Object Types CP, P, A, AG, BP, C, EK, ET, G4, G7, GE, NA, O, Q, RY, S, T, UG and US. Is there anything wrong with my target areas definition?.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Anil.

    Hi,
have your checked if there is a lock for that relationship in table T77Tr in target system?
    Regards,
    Ana

Your Solid State Drive and having enough space inside your Macbook Air & Pro
Solid State Drive usage premise, or the “more space / upgrade SSD” question
There have been questions posed and positions taken by many people who are trying to use their Macbook Air or Pro’s solid state drive (SSD) as a mass media storage device, for either pictures, videos, massive music collections or all three combined; but this should not be the working premise of a ‘limited’ SSD and its use.
In which, it’s the case of those users with either 128GB, 256GB, or even 512GB of internal SSD space, that have or are running “out of space”, that questions are raised. The immediate premise of some users can sometimes be “(how to / if) upgrading my SSD” when in fact in nearly all instances another approach is the logical and sensible one that needs to be looked into and exercised.
Any Macbook containing a SSD should be idealized as a ‘working platform’ notebook containing all your applications, documents, and weekly or bi-weekly necessary files. All collections of media files such as pictures, music, and videos, unless directly needed should be kept off the notebook and on an external hard drive or likewise. While the ‘working platform’ premise is also the case with larger internal conventional hard drives of 1TB+, its implementation isn't as critical except in terms of data protection.
Realistically, you should at most coordinate roughly 20 to 25% of your total SSD space to all audio-video personal use media (picture / music / video collections), leaving the remaining amount on an external HD.
Nobody should consider any notebook a data storage device at any time under any circumstance, rather a data creation, sending, and manipulation device; and in the case of a SSD, this is more important for purposes of having sufficient working space on the SSD and reducing SSD ‘bloat’ in which cases someone is wrongly attempting to use the SSD space as a large media storage nexus.
The rare exception to the collective usage and premise of SSD use in which a much larger SSD is truly needed are for those in video and photography professions that require both the extremely fast speeds of the SSD and the onboard storage for large and or many video and photography files. However this also falls under the premise of a ‘working platform’ for such peoples rather than the intent of many who are using the SSD as passive and static data storage for media files very infrequently needed or accessed.
All on-notebook data collections should be logically approached as to necessity, and evaluated as to whether it is active or passive data that likely doesn’t need to be on the notebook, allocations of space-percentages to as-needed work and use, apportioning space for your entertainment media, and questioning whether it should it be on the notebook for more than short-term consumption.
Considerations should be made in the mind of any user in differentiating the necessary system data (System hub) comprising the Mac OSX, applications, necessary documents that both must and should be on your internal SSD, and that of the users personal data (Data hub) comprising created files, pictures, music, videos, PDF files, data created or being created and otherwise, that likely unless being used soon or often should be parked on an external hard drive for consumption, or temporarily loading onto the internal SSD.
You both can and should purchase whichever SSD size you need or see fit, but even in the case of the largest of SSD, unless use-considerations are made, and SSD spaces are allocated as should be the case indicated above, one can easily and immediately run into this quandary of “needing more internal SSD space”, in which instance a different approach in usage must then be implemented.
However it is almost always the case, that such large media files are wanted to be stored internally rather than actually needed, in which case the external HD is both prudent as well as necessary. Additionally costs per MB are infinitely less on an external HD than an internal SSD in any consideration of data expansion needs.
    A Professional Example
In the case of a Macbook Air or Macbook Pro Retina with ‘limited’ storage on the SSD, this distinction becomes more important in that in an ever rapidly increasing file-size world, you keep vital large media files, pics, video, PDF collections, music off your SSD and archived on external storage, for sake of the necessary room for your system to have free space to operate, store future applications and general workspace.
You should also never be put in the position of considering “deleting things” on your Macbook SSD in order to ‘make space’. This is especially what your external HD is for.
Professionals who create and import very large amounts of data have almost no change in the available space on their notebooks internal SSD because they are constantly archiving data to arrays of external or networked HD.
Or in the case of the consumer this means you keep folders for large imported or created data and you ritually offload and archive this data for safekeeping, not only to safeguard the data in case your Macbook has a SSD crash, or gets stolen, but importantly in keeping the ‘breathing room’ open for your notebook to operate, expand, create files, add applications, for your APPS to create temp files, and for general operation.
Slim USB3 1TB external hard drive
    External Hard Drives
External hard drives are both extremely cheap and regardless of the size of your internal SSD (or even internal hard drive if the case), you need an external hard drive with your SSD equipped Macbook for several reasons:
    1. Data backup and protection.
    2. Redundancy for important data.
    3. Necessitated ideal space for large media files for collections of pictures, videos, and music etc.
While ever changing in price, typical portable 2.5” external hard drives in USB3 run roughly $65 for 1TB or $120 for 2TB small portable USB3 hard drives. Such drives range in thickness between 5mm and 15mm, with recent improvements in storage of 500GB drives in 5mm profiles.
There is almost no premise in which a small 12mm thick 1 Terabyte USB hard drive cannot be taken along with any Macbook as an external large storage extension inside any Macbook carry case or pouch. Typically such external HD profiles are not much bigger than a deck of cards.
External hard drives are a foregone necessity for purchase with any Macbook for at the very least Time Machine backups, data redundancies, and ideally for large media storage.

    Hi All,
There is a scenario in CQ5.5 where "Workflow A" has container step to initiate another "Workflow B" from it. Now the requirement is to identity the Workflow A's instance ID in "Workflow B".
Being quite unable to find any relationship between the workflows what have been triggered from parent workflow using container step.
Could any one share the pointers for the same?
    Thanks in advanced.
