Creation of Calendars and Books not possible

i cannot create calendars or books with iphoto '08. cards do work. there are no themes or pictures shown in the window. what shall i do?
software is updated.

To creat a new DC in shared repository do the following:
1. Create a DC in the local repository
2. Go to manage models, click on the newly created DC and you would see the icon with blue + (tooltip: Add to the source control)
3. Your local DC is now your shared DC

Calendar and Book not working

Please help. After selecting some pics (or an album or event), I click on Book and get the "Choose type" window, but none of the listed choices are available. Clicking on Calendar doesn't do anything at all, while clicking on Card works just fine. What's wrong?
I have all the latest versions installed. Removing com.apple.iphoto.plist in Prefs won't help. I have checked the Themes folder in Application Support and there are 298 theme files there. I've done a fresh re-install of iPhoto as I was having printing problems but that is OK now. Any ideas / suggestions would be much appreciated, as I'd love to have the hardcopy pics available ASAP.

The themes for the books and calendars have been deleted some how. Go to the HD/Library/Application/iPhoto and check the Themes folder. If it's empty move it to the desktop, delete the iPhoto application and any file with iPhoto in it that resides in the HD/Library/Receipts folder. Then reinstall iPhoto from the disk it came on. Run the latest update, 7.1 and repair permissions. That will bring back your book and calendar capability. I just finished doing the same thing.
Remember to remove the Themes folder first even if empty.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Invoice is been created successfully in SUS , XML transfered to XI which in turn created the IDOC in ECC.
I get the below error while transferring theinvoice IDOC from XI to ECC.

Diagnosis
In Financial Accounting customizing, the tax ID transferred in the invoice is missing so that the system cannot determine a tax code. The system could not determine an entry with the value V0 nor with the value VAT .
Procedure
In Financial Accounting customizing, include the external tax ID and a corresponding internal tax code for the present partner.
Please let me know if I am missing any setup in ECC as I have already maintained the setup in OBCA, OBCD and OMRY.

System error and restart not possible

Hi
I have developed the Proxy to SOAP scenario and it used to work normally as designed, But suddenly it started giving the System error and restart not possible,
I see the following error in the Runtime work bench on the Receiver CC
SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
Can anyone let me know what the error is

If this channel was in working state earlier, then this error would mean that the receiver webserver hosting the webservice has some problem. You may contact the receiver system for checking out if they have problem at their end and if they agree resend the messages and it should pass through.
It may be problem with certificates even.

Navigation of iPhoto and iTunes not possible by Remote Control

Navigation of iPhoto and iTunes not possible by Remote Control after upgrading from Leo to Mountain Lion. I miss this functionality because it was nice to see may photoes directly on the iMac-Screen as well to hear the Music on my Radio. No chance to implement this function again by a newer upgrade?

I am using already AppleTV, but only for streaming into a different room on to my TV - it is great!
But I like to hear all my iTunes Music by LineOut Cable from iMac to my Stereo Device.
I can activate music titles in iTunes by Apple Remote, but only for jumping from Title to Title and not back to Albums or Playlists etc.

Then you either have a network problem or a hardware problem or a corrupted hard drive. You might try:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
You can also try downloading from another computer on a different network connection.

With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a potential solution. We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you now using? What versions did you have previously?
what system version are you running?
what do you see when iPhoto opens?
are the calendars in the left hand pane?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

Your profile shows that you are running OS X 10.6.7. If that's true, you will need to update a iCloud requires OS X 10.7.5 or later. If you are running a more recent version of OS X and your data still isn't syncing, check to be sure of the following:
That your Mac and iOS devices are signed into the same iCloud account and have Calendars and Contacts turned on in Settings (System Preferences)>iCloud.
That you have selected iCloud as your Default Account for contacts in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars on your iOS devices and in Contacts (Address Book)>Preferences>General on your Macs.

Error Message: Creation of Temporary Table "#BIMC_SETS" not possible

I am trying to get data from HANA Virtual Data Model (VDM) from MDX connection in MS Excel. The VDM Views and models are visitble after the connection is successfully made.
But when I try to fetch the data, I get the following error:
"Creation of Temporary Table "BIMC_SETS" is not possible".
Can someone let me know how to resolve this?

I am getting the same error. We are trying to build a role for Adhoc reporting. The role has analytic privilege, object privilege with select on individual models in _SYS_BIC (models we want to expose and part of AP), object privilege on _SYS_BI with select and execute and also object privilege execute on REPOSITORY_REST.
I am able to execute the models using Lumira and Analysis for excel, however getting error with MDX connection.
Also we want to try and restrict direct ODBC access to HANA using query from excel. With the above privileges user is able to see all the M_ views and get data for it. Can we restrict this?

Calendars and Contacts not showing up in iPod

I'm trying to sync contacts and calendars to my iPod nano (the short chubby one - 3rd gen), but the information isn't appearing in the iPod.
When I enable disk use I can see that the calendar and vcard files are being created and have the right content on the iPod - but in 'Calendars', I see nothing, and I'm informed there are no contacts.
I've tried switching the vcard format between both settings in Address Book (v2.1 / v3.0); I have enabled/disabled 'transfer photos' in both Address Book and iTunes; I've tried unsyncing and resynching innumerable times, and I've reset the iPod completely several times.
I'm not using anything 'external' - no sync'ing with MobileMe, yahoo, or anything else (although I've tried yahoo); I'm just iTunes (8.02), iCal (3.0.6) and Address Book (4.1.1) on my Macbook, and the iPod.
Anyone got any ideas? I will be travelling without my laptop soon, and need my contacts and calendars with me...

IPhoto calendar and book font issue

On or near Nov. 30th, 2009, I launched iPhoto 8.1 to produce a calendar. The upgrade option came up and I proceeded to do the installation.
I attempted to upgrade to iPhoto 8.1.1 on a new 2.66 GHz Quad Mac Pro running OS 10.6.2. Install did not work the first time.
I then launched iPhoto to produce a new calendar. Prior attempts have not had any font issue.
When selecting my favourite font, Kon Tiki, a different font appears. When selecting that new font, yet another font appears. This continues indefinitely.
This issue also occurs when creating new books. Existing books and calendars in my Keepsakes retain their original font but I do not want to test if they change until this is resolved.
I tried reinstalling original application from Time Machine but error continues. I then tried a second successful time to install the upgrade to iPhoto 8.1.1
I have since tested this on my 3.06 GHz iMac running OS 10.6.2. This system had already been upgraded to iPhoto 8.1.1 but no calendars or books had been produced since the upgrade.
The same issues occur.
2.0 GHz MacBook running iPhoto 8.1 does not have this issue.

I ran Font Book and Validated all fonts. Cleaned up quite a bit but did not resolve the issue. Fonts are no longer as randomly selected (Kozuka Gothic Pro now selects Kon Tiki Kona consistently) but does show the secondary font choice of the font above it. Current version on Mac Pro seems to corrupt the iPhoto Library. Accessing those iPhoto Libraries from different computer (2.0 GHz iMac running iPhoto 8.1 resolves the issue and reinstates selected fonts).
Second issue now occurring where previously created Calendars are becoming Books on Mac Pro system. I have tried removing all iPhoto files and reinstalling from iLife '09 disc then upgrading to 8.1 but error still occurs.
How do you remove all iPhoto files and where are they. I can either reinstall them from iLife '09 disc (again) or copy them from MacBook system where they appear to be working.
I'm not completely able to locate all iPhoto files it seems.

Buy book not possible

Can somebody help me out in this. I build a book in aperture. And now it is not possible to buy the book. I can click on PRINT but not on BUY BOOK.
I never had this problem before. Is it becaus I choose custom instead of the prefab themes?
I hope I get an answer on this.

Very simple - find the missing photos nad fill the frames - typically the missing [photos are in background that requires a photo with a page layout with places photos in from of it making it hard to find - if you are getting that message you are missing one or more photos - jsut find them and eeither put photos there or change to a colored background instead of a photo background
