CRM :B2B: Want to display Message in the Order Basket: at Item Level

Hi all
I wanted to add some Message for every Product(item) being added into the Order Basket of the B2B (E-Commerce) application.
Hopefully i found a Badi at the ABAP Layer (CRM_ISA_BASKET_ITEMS) and implemented the interface CHANGEITEMS_BEFORE_IL(code added to display a sample text).
I am successful in adding TExt at the Top of the Basket. But my requirement is to add the Text for every Product present in the Basket !!!!!

Go to COMM_PCAT_ADM.Select Catalog type Both and choose details screen.Select S5 Text determination procedure for items.
SPRO>CRM>BASIC FUNCTIONS>TEXT MANAGEMENT>DEFINE TEXT DETERMINATION PROCEDURE>SELECT THE ROW WITH A TEXT OBJECT>PCAT_CTY>DIALOG STRUCTURE CALL UP THE PROCEDURE AREA.Select the row with text determination procedure s5 ,In the dialog strurcture ,call up the definiton of procedure area.Select text type.

i want to display message more than 50 characters, and the fm 'POPUP_DISPLAY_MESSAGE' can display just 50characters, my message maybe much long, what other fm can i use?
btw, i cann't use POPUP_TO_CONFIRM to let user select, the popup screen should only have one button to let user type in.

but 'POPUP_TO_DISPLAY_TEXT' just has two lines(every line has character limit), my message to be displayed may be much long.
why i need the fm is that, i want to display error message when user made error operation, if i use 'message msg type 'E' ', the message display in the status bar at the left-down place and cann't display the whole message if the message is to long.
so i had like to find a fm like 'POPUP_TO_CONFIRM' which can display multipul lines and just with one button(which is the user required...).

It is not possible to display message without calling that screen. You are currently on screen on 2000 and you wanted to display message on screen 3000
Try call screen 3000 and then try to display message

In my report I am displaying records for the specified month only.
I am able to display it in range of the dates, but i want to display name of the month at the top of page.
e.g.
i am giving range like
01.04.2008 to 30.04.2008
then, it shoud display April, 2008.

Use following FM to get month in words.
and then using TOP-OF-Page event print the month.
DATA X_MONTH(11).
CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_LDATE_OUTPUT'
     EXPORTING
       INPUT         = SY-DATUM
     IMPORTING
       OUTPUT        = X_MONTH.

Do we need IPC in CRM B2B Webshop for creation of ERP Sales order

Hi Experts,
can you pls guide in following scenario in CRM 7.0
We are using CRM B2B WEBSHOP, We are creating ERP SALES ORDER .
We have requirement to display price break up like base price, different discounts, taxes, freights while creation of Sales order on the webshop.
I would like to understand,
1) whether we need IPC to show price breakup in SALES ORDER in CRM WEBSHOP.
2) if yes, do we need enhancement at IPC to display complex discount types on webshop ?
3) do we need to download entire pricing ( customizing +condition records ) from backend ECC to CRM.
If anybody has worked on similer scenario ,requesting to help.
Any points , documents ,step by step guide will be highly appreciated.

Display document in the Single Document web item -authorization problem.

Hi Gurus,
I have a problem.
I have two types of users, users for display document in the Single
Document web item and users who can maintain and create new comment in
the Single Document web item.
My problem is I can't create users that can only display documents (all
users who can display the query can add new comment).
We use the new 7.0 Authorization.
The authorization object S_RS_ADMWB doesnu2019t influence about the
activity in the Single Document web item.
In the new authorization method, in PFCG or in RSECADMIN there is no
functionality that we can separate between the two types of users I
mention before.we used S_RS_COMP & S_RS_COMP1.

If you have Order and Notification Integration in spro ->PM->Maintenance and Service Orders -->Funcations and settings for Order types -->Define Order and Notification Integration .. then i believe u should be getting Notification number also when order is created ..

Additional tab item level on MIGO supresses the excise tab at item level

Hello Experts,
I have used MB_MIGO_BADI to add an additional tab at item level.It is working properly.
But now Iam facing a problem the additional tab supresses the excise tab that comes up dynamically at the item level,.
Now how do i reslove this problem.
Since excise details are entered later and the tab comes up dynamically my tab should not supress the excise tab at item level
it should come after the excise tab.
Now do I set this.
Please help . highly appreciated.

I have created a subscreen 'ZMIGOITEM' with screen number '9000'.
In the PBO of BADI MB_MIGO_BADI I have displayed this subscreen.
This is getting displayed at item level when I call Tcode 'MIGO'.
After fillin up the details for performing GR..and when I check it it gives me a warning to fill in the excise details when I fill in the excise details at header level and check as per the standards an excise tab at item level should come up right ?
Since i have added a additional tab the excise tab doesn't come up....the additional tab supress it ...

BAdI needed for transfer order split with the maxi.of 5 item level

BAdI needed for transfer order split with the maximum of 5 item level.
If a transfer order contains 12 item level, three separate transfer order should be created with item level 5,5 and 2.
This transfer order is for the material which bound to flow to production from warehouse.
Can anyone explain the step by step procedure to implement this BAdI?
It would be great if the procedure is for New BAdI.

Some body known how do we programmatically "enable" the Page to have
Item level security. - analogous to checking the box in the Page edit mode for "Enable item level security"

Hi, I only know portal.wwsbr_api.enable_ils_for_item.....
You can perform actions on multiple objects simultaneously.
Navigator > Page Groups(TAB) > PageGroup > Page > actions(link)
Click on actions link and in LOV, select "Enable ILS".

To do this goto IMG->MM->Purchasing->Version Management->Set up Version Management for External Purchasing Documents
Here Tick on Version Active & in Field Selection in the relevant fields where you want users to enter data make them as Required Entry. This will post an error message when ever it is not complete.

Displaying Messages to the user

Hi,
1. I have created one webDynpro application in which in default view I am using a tabStrip which contains 4 tabs.
2. 4 different view are associated with these 4tabs.
3. I am using messageArea UIElement in each view.
4. But if I try to display any message using wdComponentApi.getMessageManager().reportSuccess(), it displays the same message in each view.
5. So if I navigate through the tabs, it shows me same message in each & every view.
6. I don't want to display the same message in another views.
How to resolve this problem?

To display an error message:
wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("Your Error Message", false);
To display an warning message:
wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportWarning("Your warning Message");
To display an success message:
wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess("Your success Message");
This works in an iview other than do modify view.
if you are using another Java file, you need to pass
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDComponent wdComponentAPI
from your iview to use this messages in your application in that file.

Problem in displaying messages in the status bar

Hi all,
I have a custom form and whenever user clicks on the save button after entering any data in it, i would like to display a message in the status bar(as like in standard oracle forms).
I got the following solutions from some Guru's but it dint worked.
Sol 1: Setting the CONSOLE WINDOW property of the form to the custom window name.
I tried it and got the following error while compiling the form.
FRM-40735: ON-ERROR trigger raised unhandled exception
ORA-06508
In my ON-ERROR trigger i have the standard code
APP_STANDARD.EVENT('ON-ERROR');
sol 2: writing the following code snippet in POST-INSERT or POST-UPDATE trigger
clear_message;
message('Data Saved', NO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
synchronize;
With both the solutions i dint get any positive output.
Is there any other suggestions ?

A hack: at the end of init() put
ActionListener hack = new ActionListener() {
public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent evt) { showStatus("My status message"); }
new javax.swing.Timer(1000, hack).start();
Then 1000 milliseconds after init() completes it'll display your message.
There's got to be a cleaner way but if you're satisfied with this, great.
