CRM-BI when i create infopackage system gets dump

Hi All,
I was changed the source system with BDLS. And in the new system i want to get data from source system to BI system. When i try, system gets the dump.

Hi,
Error code shows that you are trying to update DSO/cube.
Are you able to create any other object in the system, I mean is object chagability allowed.

    If your requirement is to launch Transaction IW52 after clicking apply button then you can use Transaction Launcher tool in CRM to integrate to CRM WebClient UI.

    1. Check for parameters specified .e.g. password. user name , authorization for the user , ip address etc.
    2. While creating source system 1st time in the BW , R/3 client should be open and its status should be changes allowed
    .(SCC4-> Double click the client ->
    Changes to transport & client specific setting
           Changes without automatic Recording
    Cross Client object changes
           Changes to repo. client ind. object allowed

  • DSWP - Nothing happens when you create new system

    Hi SDN
    How are you?
    We are on Solution Manager 4.0. I have already defined 3 systems in transaction DSWP.
    I have recently applied support packs 9 and 10. Now when I try to define a new system in transaction DSWP, nothing happens.
    When I click on the "New: button, I am prompted to enter the system and the Language.
    I enter PRD for system and keep the Language as EN.
    I then have 2 options "continue" or "cancel".
    No matter what button I press, nothing happens.
    I then tried to copy an existing system, and again nothing happens.
    Any help that you provide would be appreciated.

    SAP actually came back with a fix.
    I had to apply Note 1008717 )HTMLViewer: Postdata of length more than 255 gets)
    Once I applied this my problem was fixed.
    This was working prior to me implementing SP 9 and 10 on SolMan 4.0. So the above note might be needed for all who implement this support pack.

  • Why specify Integration server when create Business system?

    I had difficult understanding why we need to specify the assigned Integration Server when we create Business System. What is the reason for this? What is the mechanism underbeneath this?
    It is easy to understand that when creating BS, you need to specify TS name, product and SWCV. But why integration server?
    Will you please explain to what your understanding it regarding this topic?

    This is because the same SLD could be used to connect to more than one Integration Server. This is a typical requirement wherein the system landscape has Dev, Quality & Production systems and all the XI servers uses same SLD. At that time it would be easy to specify which Business system will refer the Integration Server of which XI system.

    After the BW upgrade from 1.2B to 2.0B or 2.1C or after an upgrade of an OLTP from an R/3 release lower than 40B to an R/3 release version 40B or higher, the Init selections in the source system in tables ROOSPRMSC and ROOSPRMSF are not filled because these were not filled for BW 1.2 or for an OLTP release lower than 4.0B, but are required for a BW 2.0/2.1 or for an OLTP release version 4.0B or higher. For this reason, the MESSAGE_TYPE_X short dump may occur when you maintain InfoPackages.
    This dump also occurs if a backup was imported in BW or in the source system because the administrative information of the roosprmsc/f- tables no longer corresponds to the equivalent BW management tables rssdlinit/sel.
    In addition, the dump may occur if the delta administration was deleted in the source system.

    To receive delta initializations in the source system and immediately be able to request deltas, run the 'RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE' report for the DataSource and the source system for which the Init selections are transferred from BW to the ROOSPRMSC and ROOSPRMSF tables in the source system so that the delta can continue. The report is provided with Support Package 18 for BW 2.0B or Support Package 10 for BW 2.1C.

    I have looked into your issue.
    For this service ticket, kindly check the Org Unit maintained in Transaction and table OFIC_BILLORG_SRV are same. If not same kindly make changes in the following path in SPRO.

    When I create a New Folder (on the desktop or in Finder), the system uses the Generic Document Icon instead of the Generic Folder Icon. How can I change this back?
    All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
    I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.
    Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks.

  • Getting error "Your session has expired. Restart this wizard to continue" when I create / configure service applications

    Last week, I installed 3 virtual servers (WFE, APP and DB).
    When I started to create the service applications on the app server, several of them gave me the following error at the end:
    "Your session has expired. Restart this wizard to continue. "
    Although the error occured, they actually are created. But I'm having difficulties with the Secure Store Service. I try to add a new Target Application and when I click Next, I get the same error.
    I tried to delete the application and recreate it. Tried to stop/start the Secure Store Service. I'm doing this as a local admin on the server (which was also used for installation and configuration of Sharepoint).
    No events in the eventlog. There is some logging in the ULS :

    It says that if your servername contains an underscore, these kind of errors might occur.
    And for sure, my servernames contain underscores. DOH!
    I'm going to change it and recreate the farm... just to be safe. Will get back with the results.

    I got this error:
    "When you create a PostScript file you must rely on system fonts and use document fonts. Please go to the printer properties, "Adobe PDF Settings" page and turn OFF the option "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts."
    This strikes me as bad practice. I only want to use system fonts and document fonts will muck me up.
    That being said, I could not easily find a way to fix this with Acrobat Pro XI. I opened Control Panel (Windows 8) and found the printer and mucked around in the various ways to get to change the PDF settings (there are several ways, and some of them present the choices as bold and not just regular). I found two separate switches for "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" and turned both off, BUT that did not work.
    Frustrated, I went back to FrameMaker and clicked File > Print Setup and then for the PDF printer, Printer Properties. There I found a THIRD instance of "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" that was set differently than the other two. This was the setting the error message meant. Change this one.
    Thanks for the convoluted UI, Adobe. What a pain, but there is the answer for all who follow after....

    This is not a supported configuration and probably does not work, due (I'm guessing) to driver API changes from XP to Win7, which would affect generating PDF and Ps output. This would affect Save-as-PDF and Print-to-Ps+Distill (unless you have a newer version of the full Acrobat product).
    As it happens, I'm going to attempt something similar: FM 7.0 on Win7 64 Pro. However, I'm going to install that old FM in "XP Mode".
    XP Mode is a 32-bit virtual machine running actual Windows XP inside Win7. It is (now maybe "was") available for Windows 7 Enterprise, Professional and Ultimate (but not Basic, Home or not-so-Premium). When XP went off support life earlier this month, Mr.Bill may have taken down the ability  to download XP Mode (or not, since some large enterprises are able to  purchase continued support for XP at some great cost). XP Mode never was supported for Win8. There are other VMs for Windows available.
    If XP Mode is still available, you also need a CPU that has hardware virtualization, which all recent 64-bit AMD processors do, but which is fused-off in many low end 64-bit Intel processors. AMD processors need a separate unobvious hot-fix patch installed before you do anything else about XP Mode.

    first of all: Happy new year
    This is our scenario:
    CM Services are running under CE 7.30 and CTS+ is running on PI 7.11 system (Support Package 7).
    I followed this guide to configure CTS+ on our PI 7.11 system:

    When we create the DEV system in STMS, we tick the checkbox "Development configuration" and give the URL to the SLD of our CE system (http://sapt62.xxx.com:56200/sld/).
    But when the changes are distributed (I guess that's the time when the CM development configuration is created in the CE system), we get the following error message:

    What can be the reason for that?
    The password for user NWDI_CMSADM is configured correctly on the CTS+ system.
    Could it be that the username/password for NWDI_CMSADM is configured somewhere in SLD?
    After the DEV system has been created we click on the "Development Configuration" button in STMS, the browser pops up with the CM Services and the following message:
    Missing application ID

    I've seen now that a Development configuration has been created in our CE system.
    But I cannot open it from STMS on our CTS+ system, because it gives me the "Missing application ID" message in the popping up browser.
    Is that normal?
    Another thing I've discovered:
    When I try to use the "Synchronize service" functionality for my CTS Dev Conf to load the missing SCA files, I always get this message when I click on "next":
    Failed to process the request: Request refers to an unknown session
    When I use the "Import service" instead, it gives me a NullPointer exception:
    java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.hashCode() of an object loaded from field com.sap.engine.session.AbstractSessionHolder.sessionId of an object loaded from local variable 'this'

    I would first check to make sure that you meet the system requirements for OS X to support Documents in the Cloud. For that your Mac’s needs to be running at least OS X Lion 10.7.5 or later to make sure that everything syncs. Take a look at the article below for more information.

    If so, I suggest performing an Archive & Install selecting preserve user and network settings. If not and you don't know exactly what your boy deleted (have you checked the Trash?), performing an A&I will take care of everything known or unknown at once.

    Now is also a good time to create a backup - preferably a bootable clone backup of your entire hard drive saved to an external firewire drive used for backup purposes only.
    And I also suggest creating a computer login account for your boy WITHOUT admin privileges and disable automatic login for your admin account which will require manually entering your log in password for your admin account during a computer startup, restart and with Fast User Switching.
    Before stepping away from your Mac or whenever it will be used by anyone that is unattended by you, log out from your account.
    Keep the install package for your Mac in a safe place but in a location that is not known by your boy.

  • No Entries in SMW01 when we create BP in CRM 5.2

    HI,
    In the process of Integrating CRM 5.2 and ISU , we have done all the necessary MW settings below.
    1.      Number ranges and groupings set both on CRM and ISU
    2.       Logical systems and RFC Destinations defined for both CRM and ISU .
    3.       Industry objects generated successfully.
    4.       CRMRFCPAR & CRMCONSUM Settings maintained
    5.       Site and subscriptions created for ISU in CRM
    6.       PIDE Settings done
    7.       We have downloaded all customizing objects from ISU
    8.       Queues registered in SMQR
    9.       SMQS Setting manually.
    Now, when we create a BP in CRM. Its saved with out any error. But no entry in SMW01. No queues generated at all. Hence not flowing to ISU.
    Did we miss anything? Pl  Give your inputs.

    I have checked the above settings.
    1)  BUPA_MAIN  initial load is not done because we dont need the initial download from ISU to CRM. We want to upload Business objects from CRM to ISU.
    2)  Business objects replication is not deactivated on R3AC4.
    3) In SM30 CRMSUBTAB, we have 3  FM's ( CRM_BUPA_MAIN_EXTRACT_GUIDS ) for BUPA. But all are Download only.
    4) sites and subscriptions are done correctly
    5) InTBE11 , the application BUPA is active.
    We did some digging in to the issue, the following points might help you in giving some pointers to solve this problem.
    1. Only for BP's,  the Bdoc's are not generated ( neither there are any queues ). When we create for example, an activity there are entries in SMW01.
    2. Can you please check the Note Number: 1064517? Is it because of the Support Package problem for CRM 5.2?
                            Our SP level  for SAP_ABA is currently 011 for Release 700
    We think , we have missed out some basic MW setting between ECC and CRM.
    Any Inputs are highly appreciated and rewarded accordingly.
