Crystal report doesnt work in client`s pc

Hi! I have created my program inC# (visual studio 2010). However after making program I have created setup file of my program. However when I install my program there in my client`s pc everything works fine but crystal report doesn't work. When I try to show reports there in crystalreportviewer it shows me long error message which says:

I install crystarl report runtime & do't know where is the problem.
I seeach via google to find solution to this error, but do't find anything, So would you please tell me how should I solve this problem? I have to solve this problem as early as possible else my client will be disappointed. Please help me.

Hi, Amol;
The main point of the error is that there is a class that is not found or missing.
On the other computer, how did you deploy the Crystal runtime files? Have you installed a server version of Crystal to that machine, or does it have the full Enterprise product installed?

Crystal report not working when setup is made in VS 2010

Hi, i am new to SAP Business objetcts as well as in this forum.
I have made an application in VS 2010 (C# /WPF) and made its .exe file too.
The Crystal reports are working fine when i am running from Visual Studio.
But it gives error message while i am running the .exe.
I have made the .exe as normally we do.
Please help me out.

Adam assumed you were using Enterprise as the thread was posted to the ".NET - SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise, SAP BusinessObjects Edge, SAP Crystal Reports Server" forum.
Since you are using WPF viewer, I'm pretty sure this is not the case.
I am not sure how you are loading the report, so a code snippet from your app will help. Also, in your code as a test, hard code the path to the report. Does that work?
Looking at the [WPF|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/elearn?rid=/library/uuid/a09f7025-0629-2d10-d7ae-df006a51d1a8] demo is going to be worthwhile also.

Crystal Report not working in JAR File

I am using Eclipse All in one, which includes the Crystal Report... I Finished every thing and the Crystal Report is working in Eclipse.. But its not working in JAR files.. Anybody suggest me WHICH FILES SHOULD BE SET AS CLASSPATHS FOR CREATING THIS JAR FILE...

If your classpath includes all necessary JAR files and you are able to access all your resources from within your application JAR file, then I imagine there is a problem with the third-party crystal decisions JAR file or how you are attempting to use it.
My advice to you is to try and contact support with the vendor or provider of this API or possibly try posting on a support forum on their website to see if somebody can help you there.

How to get one crystal report to work with two different backends?

We have a software that can work with either SQL2008 or Visual Fox Pro backend. We are trying to compile One Crystal report that will work with either of the two backends. How to you make sure that your Crystal Report is compiled so that it will work with both backends?
Right now my reports were originally created using the SQL2008 backend and are retaining the DBO reference in the statement, which then will not allow the Crystal report to work with the VFP backend.

You can write your data sets as a command using hand coded SQL. As long as "dbo" is the only schema used in your SQL Server database, you don't need to specify it in the SQL. SQL Server will automatically assume the dbo.
The 2nd thing... The SQL needs to be 100% compatible with both SQL Server 2008 AND VFP. This will limit the list available functions to those that are common to both platforms AND work exactly the same in both platforms.
The other part is to make sure you are using an ODBC type connection instead of OLD/DB. That way all of the connection properties are set on the local machine and the report is simply looking for the System DSN name.

Cannot install Crystal Reports Server 2008 and Client Tools on same machine

I am having trouble setting up Crystal Reports Server 2008 with Client Tools on a new Windows 2003 SP 2 machine. The Server 2008 package installs OK (built-in MySQL server, built-in Tomcat 5.5 server). Reports run okay. But my customer wants to run reports that use Salesforce as a data source, so I tried to install Crystal Reports Server 2008 Client Tools (needed for Salesforce support, apparently). I receive this error:
'Business Objects product detected: cannot continue with install'. Installation of Client Tools immediately terminates.
Oddly enough, when I uninstalled Server 2008, the Client Tools installed successfully. Then I tried installing Server 2008, and I got the same error message as with Server 2008. What the heck?
Any ideas on how I can get Server 2008 and Server 2008 Client Tools to live in harmony on the same machine? We were able to do this with a (otherwise overloaded) Win2K3 server before.

Typically the client tools are installed with enterprise by default. If not then you would want to use add/remove in control panel and select them. The installer thinks you are trying to install enterprise on top of itself and thus the error.

Hi,
Put an image field in your report, then change the image’s Graphic Location:
right click the image, select Format Graphic, select Picture tab, click the conditional-formula button that look like a x2 and set the formula’s text to
the name of the formula or parameter field that will contain the image’s URL.
Save the formula and click the OK button. Save the report and test it.
Be carefull with the size of the image field. If this size is not equal to the image itself it could get resized.

Crystal report not working on a client pc

Hi Everyone,
I have developed windows application in vb 2012 which will bind data from ms access in crystal report. My windows application is running fine on local machine where i installed vs2012 but when i create a setup an installed it on the local machine it is giving
this error
'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine error
and when i install on a client machine it is giving me the following error,

Also for 3rd party software usually contacting the vendor for assistance is recommended. Especially since Crystal Reports are not supported by Microsoft. The search engine or appropriate forum at the below link should be able to assist you.

SAP 8.8 Crystal Report Layout problem in client workstation

Hi Experts,
We have import crystal report to SAP Business One as Form Layout or AP Invoice. We have already created the token DocKey@ so it would automatically be printed and will not ask for the document number. The layout works fine using the server workstation but in the client workstation we cannot proceed with the printing because when we click on the preview button, a login window appears with this details:
Database Login
Server Name : gray out or not active
Database: gray out or not active
Login ID: active
Password: active
We tried to enter the SQL login but fails.
Is there any components that we need to install in the workstation before it could function the same way as PLD?

You can try creating the ODBC connection, which is the same as on the server.
Assuming this is the scenario:
1. You write the invoice using crystal report on the server
2. On the server, Control Panel--> ODBC, you have created an ODBC link eg; SAPB1.
3. The report is connecting to ODBC link and pointing to database OECUS
On the client workstation, you need to create:
1. Control Panel--> ODBC, you need to create an ODBC link as on the server.

Crystal report not working on 64 bit machine

Hello friends,
Hope everyone is doing good. I have an issue and you all are requested to help me out.
I have build an Application using VS 2008, i used Oracle 10g as database and Crystal report 2008 for reports. The Application and reports are working fine when i deploy it on 32 bit machine, but when I deploy it on a 64 bit machine, my Application works fine but reports are not displayed, when ever i run report it ask Db credential with the following message
"The report you requested requires further information."
then Server, user ID and password filed, I off course supplied credential but no results.
For resolving the issue i installed VS 2008 on 64 bit machine with redist CR Viewer and tried to verify database for the report thinking this might be an issue, but in CR designer it gives me following error when i tried to verify database or create new connection using OLEDB provider for Oracle

Logon failed.
Details: ADO Error Code: 0x
Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle
Description: Oracle client and networking components were not found. These components are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3.3 or later client software installation.
Provider is unable to function until these components are installed.
OK
I tried the following fixes as well:
- Installed CR viewer for 64 bit machine
- Registering ORAOLEDB10.dll
- Reinstalling VS 2008
The Application works fine but Crystal reports are malfunctioning. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crystal Reports not working with PL/SQL

When I try and connect a Oracle stored procedure in ODBC using Oracle 8.1.7 client and Crystal 8 Reports I get the following error:
ODBC error: [MERANT][ODBC Oracle 8 driver][Oracle 8]ORA-06550: line 1, column 13: PLS-00302: component 'TEST_PROCEDURE' must be declared
ORA-06550: line 1, column 8: PL/SQL: Statement ignored
This code worked just fine in Crystal Reports 7. Does anyone know how to get this to work? Any successful code snippets to share? I called Crystal Decisions Support with no luck at all.

Yes, the dialog is different than in Crystal 7 but the box is already checked.

Crystal reports not working in windows 7 but working fine on XP

I have a VB .net 2005 windows app. It has been working on Windows XP (32-bit) environment for a while and now we are moving to Windows 7 (64-bit). The program runs fine except for the reports which was written using the crystal report built in with VB .net
2005. I get an error Database login and it asks for user ID and password. HELP PLEASE !!!!
I am using the following connection string:
