Crystal Reports Language Pack

Hi,
I have developed an application that uses CR Basic for Visual Studio 2008. This application use the CRRedist2008_x64.msi / x86.msi.
On the Page https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap%28bD1kZSZjPTAwMQ==%29/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm i found different Language Pack but there is no language pack for Italian.
Can someone tell me where i can find the language pack for Italian?

I have some question regarding Crystal Report Service Pack for different version respectively :-
Crystal Report 9
1. I have SP5 and SP7. Can I just install SP7 without installing SP5 ?
Crystal Report XI R2
1. I have install a distribution of Crystal Report X1 R2 in a non-development server.
Can I install the latest SP6 into that non-development server ? Which SP6 I should install, preferably a link to that SP would be great.
NOTE: I am a VS.NET 2003 and 2005 developer.

- no. From CR XI on, SPs are only meant to be used on development computers. E.g.; a computer that has the CR designer installed. To update your runtime computer, you will have to uninstall the current runtime and install the SP6 runtime:

Crystal Reports Service Pack 2

Do I need to install Crystal Reports Service Pack 1 and all the hotfixes before I install SP2 or is it all inclusive?

Hi,
It is not mandatory to install service pack and hot fixes for SP 2.
If we have the set up with crystal reports XI R2 with SP2 then we can install them directly.
Try to run the set up which we have and check with the version number 11.5.3.417 is with SP1.
Then we can install SP2 directly on SP1.
If we have only crystal reports installed on our machine then we have 11.5.0.883 version.
If we have SP2 installed on our machine then version no is 11.5.8.826.

You can apply just FP 3.5, all previous Fix Packs are inclusive.

Crystal Reports Service Pack 1 installation

I am trying to install service pack one for crystal reports 2008. It downloads, and starts the install, but says it cannot find crystal_reports.msi, which is not in the dowload folder. I have to cancel, and it backs everything out. How do I get around this?

I first installed SP0, and now SP1 installs correctly

My question:
Why doesn't the "CR2008 FixPack 2.8 Fixed Issues" document list any issues fixed in FP2.8. The last I heard Jason was asking about this.........
Also where is the documentation for Fix Pack 2.9?

Crystal 2008 Fix Pack 1.2 Changes?

I have 2 questions.
1) What has changed in Crystal Reports Fix Pack 1.2 (Posted 01-13-2009)?
2) Is there a mailing list or RSS feed or something I can sign up to so that I am notified when a new HotFix / Service Pack is released for Crystal Reports 2008?

I did as you instructed but my problem is still unresolved...
I downloaded 'cr2008sp1_fp12.exe' from the [Business Objects Download Page|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm]
I ran the application and browsed to where the files were extracted in my case (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\package)
After investigating all the files I was unable to find a 'ReadMe' file.
Here is a summary of what I did find:
1) CrystalReports.msp
2) license_xx.xxx (License files in many different languages and in TXT, RTF and PDF)
3) What appears to be 'localized' versions of the same 'CrystalReports.msp' file
If anyone can give me a specific list of what is changed I would really appreciate it.

Crystal Report Integration Problem with VS 2012 Ultimate

I installed Crystal Report (Support Pack 13 v.13.0.13.1597) for VS 2012 Ultimate. When I create a crystal report, the Crystal Reports Gallery didn't pop up. Instead it just jump to *.rpt file and shows one hell of a hex codes
Did anyone faced the same issue, like mine?

I recommend you verify the ISO checksum for Visual studio 2012. You can download the File Checksum Integrity Verifier (fciv.exe) described at

Error: 'bobj' is undefined - crystal report for VS2013 - please help ASAP

Currently we are trying to migrate from VS2008 to VS2013 and we installed Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 on a windows 7 laptop. All our crystal report programs are migrated to VS2013. I downloaded Crystal report Support Pack 10 (v. 13.0.10.1385) executable version and installed it. Then opened our old project (from vs2008) in VS2013 and it went through the conversion process. Later I opened each .rpt file and saved in VS2013 so that the crystal report files will be saved in the new format.
I am getting the Error: 'bobj' is undefined when I try to run the report. Am I using the correct service pack 10, or should I use service pack 9. I have read through all the posts related to this error in earlier version of VS. Is there any correct fixes for VS2013?
This is urgent, I am stuck with this error. please help??? Thank you.

This code works in windows XP (32 bit), using/complied VS2005 with no problems.

Help converting a bigint to a DateTime in Crystal Reports 2008

The data in a table contains a bigint which needs to be displayed in DateTime in the Crystal Reports. Can someone please describe what I would need to do within the Formula to make this happen?

Problem with the crystal reports XI

Boa Tarde, tenho um problema com o cristal reports XI.
ele esta em producao fazendo a consulta em um servidor mas quando eu acesso passando parametro connectionInfo.ServerName = <endereco do servidor> para um servidor de teste pelo VStudio 2005, ele nao busca os dados deste e continua acessando o servidor de producao.
gostaria de saber como consertar isso

1) You are using CR XI (I am not sure if release 1 or release 2)
2) you are using .NET 2005
3) you are trying to change the server name, but the report keeps giving you data from the original server
Please answer the following:
1) Are you using CR XI release 1 or release 2?
2) Can you change to the new server, using the Crystal Reports Designer?
3) Can you duplicate the issue on your development computer?
4) What Crystal Reports service pack are you on?
5) Are you connecting to the database using OLE DB?

Printing Error Crystal Report 9

When printing from Crystal report 9 packing slips where the description is 100 characters
Will get a error message that says "failed to open a row set.file PrintPick List.rpt" which hangs up
printing all other packing slips. Is there a way to prevent this?

Looks like you are using a 3rd party application(?). If that is the case, you will have to get your answer from the creators of the application.

Crystal Reports XI R2 SP6 can be not installed?

I download SP6 via https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap%28bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==%29/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm.
But Crystal Reports XI R2 SP6 can be not installed.
It prompt message:
Crystal Reports Service Pack 6 is for Crystal Reports XI R2 only, and can not be installed on top of other Business Object XI R2 products.
I check my Crystal Report developer, and its version is Crystal Reports XI Release 2 sp3.
Who do anyone know?

Crystal report - Issue

#.1. Our application has a bar graph made out of crystal report.
#.2.the issue is - the graph size is reduced rather truncated , when we currently view it on its pane.
#.3.A part of the graph is not visible , it is all white mark. Only a part of the graph is visible now.
let me know if there are any available ways to uplaod the screen print.

1) What version of Crystal reports are you using?
2) What Crystal reports service packs have you applied?
3) Is this a web or win app?
4) I am assuming you are using .NET... what version of .NET?
7) What OS?
8) Does the report work as expected in the CR designer?
9) Are you seeing the issue on your development computer or after you deploy the app?
10) What SDK are you using? (CR, RAS, BOE?)
