Crystal Reports Management Console (Web) looping login

Searched around online for this.. and other places. When my client logs into crystal management studio (our product uses Crystal 10), he gets a looping login. It simply refreshes him to the page where it requires credentials.
I've checked IIS settings, our software's install, Crystal's install, and near as I can tell it looks good.
Where else should I look? They want to delete a report, but can't get in to the console to do it.

Error when Opening a Crystal Report in a Web Application

Hi All,
How are things?
We are trying to open a Crystal report in a Web Application based on a Web service on Appache Tomcat.
The report is in the Test Environment poiting to a SQL 2005 Database.
The report opens and runs fine in Crystal Reports and in Infoview.

Port management console web

Hiii everyone, I have a problem. I want to enter to the management console web, I have treated with localhost:50000 but it does not work. All is local.
The server, sdm and the dispatcher estan in green.
Please How Could I solve this. Or also How could I configure the port.

What is the message ur getting? I guess page not found error.
If yes check the port again.It might be different.Check the Central instance number.
For example if central instance number is 00 then the http port is 50000.but if its 01 then the port will be 50100.and if CI is 02 http port will be 50200 and sooooooooooooooooooo on.

Crystal reports deployment on web server

I include crystal report on my asp.net application(.NET 2008). Its running well at my development machin but when I'm trying to run from my web site its not showing report. I search for help in google but getting only one suggestion to install "CRRedist2008_x86.msi" file on the server. but I dont have previlige to install any application on my server. Cant I have any option without installing the file i can have crystall report on the web.

I already asked to my ISP provider but they told me that already they have crystal report installed. but in my local machine application is working fine, when I'm deploying my application on the web then its throwing error. Giving the stacktrace below as you can identify the problem easily.

Embedding WebI and Crystal reports on a web page

Hi,
I'm new to BO, so please bear with me. I've also posted this to the .NET-side, so sorry if you've seen this post before.
We have a project where we will need to embed WebI and Crystal reports on a web page, i.e. we want the people who access the web page to get the reports (mainly graphs) as embedded content on the web page without any controls and other clutter.
Is this possible and what's the correct way of doing this?

We still face the original problem, though. I.e. with openDocoument we get the report, controls, tab selections, scroll bars etc. What we actually would like is to get just the contents of a report.
Is there any way of doing it? We're not afraid of coding, we have good developers. Or do we need to schedule report creation to some format (e.g. PDF) and then load the PDF to the web page?
Basicaly it's more important to get this working for WebI reports as we can redo almost all reports from Crystal to WebI. Of course we are happy to find a resolution for both cases.

Crystal Report using a Web Service as a data source?

I am trying to figure out how to use a Web Service as a data source in Crystal Reports. When I use the report wizard, I do not see an option to select Web Service as a new connection. We are currently using Crystal Reports 2008 v12.1.0.892. Could it be that my version does not support this? Is there an update that contains this feature? Please help.

Secured Web Service including the certificate trusting, token authentication, header and/or body encryption. All web services running on https protocal.

To Link a Crystal Report (2008) from Webi report - Prompts not to Repeat

Hi ,
I have created a Webi report and Crystal report (2008) both have the same prompts.now i want to create a Hyperlink in Webi to link the Crystal report.
i am able to do this. however the crystal report is again asking to provide the prompts which i already given in Webi.which should not happen.
So how to achieve this scenario in Webi.

I'm using VS 2008. When I add a Crystal Report page to my application I get the following error.

I try to install the CRRedist2008_x64.msi in our web server. And its ok. But my problem now is the report i created in VS 2003. The error now is:

I use Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010. I have developed a web project/app in .NET 4.
What exactly should install on the server side (Windows 2008 R2 WEB) for the reports to work? Solaris Management Console (Web version)

Sorry for my ignorance, but I am trying to access the management console via the browser, but everytime i go to http://hostname:898/ it says "...console not available at this time." I know this is a stupid question but how do I enable the web console? Thanx in advance.

Solaris 10 management console... login problem!

Hi all!
I have started correctly the solaris management console server using /etc/init.d/init.wbem start.
I have launched the console correctly too (/usr/sbin/smc)
But when I try to access some aministrative tool (such as user management or disk management), it prompts a message asking me for the root password, which I wrote correctly too... but it always returns a "login failed" message...
Any idea??? Anyone else have the same problem???

Yes, I have the exact same problem. For me the problem is caused by the fact that solaris management console will not work with blowfish or md5 hashed passwords for root. Since I enabled and created a root password using md5, I cannot use the management console. This is what sun support wrote back to me about this:
PROBLEM SUMMARY :
as root. Root password is rejected. Even when run 'smc' as root user,
asks for root password again and rejects it
SOLUTION :
have found many instances stating blowfish and SMC do not work..I did
find one potential workaround, but it may or may not work.If you want
totry it here is what they suggested..
To use SMC, must disable non-default password algorithm,
Set the CRYPT_DEFAULT line in /etc/security/policy.conf to:
CRYPT_DEFAULT=__unix__
Then delete the SMC users password with passwd -d, then set a new password:
# passwd -d root
passwd: password information changed for root
# passwd root
New Password:
Re-enter new Password:
passwd: password successfully changed for root
Try it on as test box in case it messes up SMC
Other than that it looks like it is not compatible
Odd that the 'most advanced operating system' behaves in this manner.

Crystal Reports 2008 XML & Web Services

I am using Crystal reports Basic 2008 for SAP Business One Version 12.1.3.1028
I just wanted to use a web services in my report.
My data source connectivity does not list xml & web services.
Can anyone advise if I am able to get XML and web services connectivity setup.
