CS6 is crashing in the middle of editing
My new CS6 has never crashed on me before and now its crashing frequently. Ive noticed after I installed the noiseware professional plugin its been crashing on me. Please help!
When you disable noiseware, does it work fine? In which case, I'd suspect the plug-in and suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the plug-in for support.
If it crashes even with the plug-in disabled, do you see an error report, crash report, error code or something?
Have you upgraded to 13.0.1 yet? Go to Help > System Info to find out the version you're running. If you're still on 13.0, go to Help > Updates, download & install available updates. The current version is 13.0.1
If your problem still persists, go to Help > System Info, copy & paste that data here for us to review.

My photoshop CS4 keeps crashing while I am in the middle of editing a photo. I am running Mac OS X 10.9.4. I have tried to contact support and I was directed here.
You were redirected to this user forum because CS4 is no longer supported by Adobe at all.
We'll need a lot more info before we can help.
You'll have to manually determine whether Photoshop CS4 is updated to version 11.0.2 (the Adobe auto updater is most unreliable in CS4), and give us plenty of other information.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if Safari crashed, you would enter "Safari" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful. -
Mac Crashes in the middle of Time Capsule backup --HELP!
Been using time capsule for several months without any issues. In fact, it has been great until recently. A week or so ago, my MacBookPro began crashing in the middle of a time capsule back up. Just suddenly the MAC curtain comes down and tells me I must restart. When I restart I get an error message which I have copied into this message. I tried erasing a whole months worth of backups but still get the same problem........is it possible my MAC has gotten a virus?? Anyone who can help, your comments would be greatly appreciated!!!

Got this problem fixed. It seems the 10.5.3 update corrupted the update somehow. You can perform a disk image repair on the existing backup or just delete all your old back ups and start from scratch which is exactly what I did. Good luck! -
The video app on my iPad now only shows a black screen. Used to work fine then crashed in the middle of a short video. When I open the app the screen is just blank. As it is a default app I can't delete and reinstall. Anybody else experience this?
Try searching for the name of one of your videos on the iPad's spotlight search screen - swipe your first homescreen to the right, type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.
If that doesn't work then try closing the Videos app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option if the two above don't work is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
suddenly in the middle of editing a large project in Aperture the cropping and others tools stopped working. Did I accidently hit something to do that?
Maybe you hit the "p" key?
Then "Quick Preview" will be turned on and prevent editing. Hit "p" again or use the "View" ->"Quick Preview" menu entry. -
I am running Elements 10 on Yosemite 10.0.1 and it crashes in the middle of every project. Is there a work around?

My iMovie quit in the middle of editing a movie. I have been able to get the movie back, but without all the editing I had already done. I don't want to have to re-edit it all again (hours) and can't find it anywhere. I have 809 GB free of 999.35 GB on the hard disk. Please help!

Help...my iphone 3g suddenly crashed in the middle of texting......the whole screen shut down. I pushed the home button and on-off buttons - as directed, the white apple came up...then all I get are red and white lines on the screen.....nothing else ! please help !!!
Thank you for your reply....I actually managed to get it showing in itunes....but couldn't open the phone at all....so took a gamble and got itunes to restore my phone back to factory settings ! which it did...then it restored all the backed up info.....so far so good !!!! phone seems to be working !!! no red lines...! but am still going to take it to the apple store and get them to check it out.......Oh....I lost all the apps I'd bought.....although their on itunes....my phone won't ake them back ??? I can't sync them in ? thanks again though.

Do I need the Middle Eastern edition of InDesign CS6 for use with Hebrew?

Yesterday I upgraded from InDesign CS5.5 to CS6 thinking that I would get full Hebrew support. I've not even installed it yet, but as I dug around on the forums and other internet sights, it seems that the regular CS6 version (USA) has "hobbled" Hebrew support, but if you want the real thing, you need to get a Middle Eastern edition. Is that right? For example, http://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/arabic-hebrew.html says this under the heading "Default Fonts":
When you install a Middle Eastern or North African version, the default typing font is set to the installation-specific language, by default. For example, if you have installed the English/Arabic-enabled version, the default typing font is set to Adobe Arabic. Similarly, if you have installed the English/Hebrew-enabled version, the default typing font is set to Adobe Hebrew (or Myriad Hebrew in Photoshop).
That makes me think that there is a ME edition of ID CS6. I think I need full Hebrew support. I'll be laying out a book with Hebrew and English and another language (European) interspersed. I don't want to have to work with a version that doesn't have what it needs for Hebrew + European languages.
And while we're at it, under what circumstances does one need the In Tools plug-in for Hebrew if CS6 is what is being used? Or is there even a CS6 version of plug-in for ID CS6?

@Everyone: It may well be that Adobe is not offering the MENA version of CS6 anymore. I got this note from Cavalier Technical Services after I specifically requested a quote for ID CS6 Middle East version (link in earlier post): "There is no longer any CS6. They only access to Indesign – including languages – is through the creative cloud. However, you do not need to purchase (actually subscribe for the year) the entire package. We can offer you only Indesign for Cloud for $269.00 per year currently."
I plan to give up on InDesign CS6 ME (or "MENA"), and just try to use www.in-tools.com's plug-in and see how it goes. I guess no one reading this has much experience with In Tool's "World Tools" plug-in, right? You're probably mostly already on Creative Cloud and it's irrelevant for you. David Blatner commented on it here (Jan. 2013): http://indesignsecrets.com/typesetting-hebrew-and-other-languages-in-english-indesign.php/ comment-page-1. Premiere Pro CC keeps crashing in the middle of work, how do I prevent this?
Whenever I am in middle of editing, my premeire pro always crashes. I have installed the latest updates. Even when I open premeire pro and leave it without using it, after a few minutes it crashes. I checked my event viewer and this is what it showed:

Does the Middle Eastern edition exist anymore?
I just upgraded to CS6 (in the box, not the cloud). My last version was CS 5.5 ME (MIddle East edition). Normally, it used to say "Middle Eastern" edition on the box. This time, it doesn't. It says on the back "DVS/A, DSST, 6.0, WIN, GEN, MUL, CA/PL/RU/TR/H." I'm assuming I've got Russian and Polish, but will I be able to work in Hebrew and Arabic?
Before I open the box, can anyone confirm that there no longer an ME edition and that right-to-left support for languages is built-in?

Illustrator randomly crashes in the middle of a project and sometimes doesn't open files properly?
Hi,
So I'm using Adobe Illustrator 5.5 on a relatively new Dell PC with an uprated graphics card.
Illustrator randomly crashes on me when I'm in the middle of projects saying (Adobe Illustrator is not responding) etc and closes. I lose my work and all the effort I've just put in.
Also, sometimes it will not open a file, says it's unsupported? But then when I close Illustrator and re-open it, the same file will open perfectly fine.
Is this an illustrator bug or is there something wrong with my hardware?

Macbook Pro repeatedly crashes in the middle of work.
It seems as though every 15-20 minuets (or just when I start to make progress on a project) my mid 2009 Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion crashes. I upgraded to mountain lion about 6 months ago and it never did this before. It used to do it maybe once a day but its gotten progressively worse to the point that it happens almost every time I sit at my desk. ****. Sometimes ill hear it just reboot in the middle of the night without even touching it, which kind of leads me to believe its a mother board issue. I've read a bunch of help tickets on the same or familiar issues and have tried a few tasks to no avail. Ill paste the latest crash report below. ANY help would be great. I'm really praying its not an expensive issue. Thanks a bunch!

You have different memory installed...
The Apple Hardware Test , extended tests, and Rember can test it, but from Apple & OWC you can see that the memory specification is for speed of 1066 MHz, whereas you have 1333, so that may well be a problem. A new 8 GB kit is ~$80, or the current could have a lifetime warranty if it was sold to you for that mac.
If the crashes are frequent enough, testing in Safe Mode may eliminate the other 3rd party extensions as a cause.
