CSS - How to Load a script

hello,
I wonder if anybody can explain how to load a script to run with CSS 11050.
many thanks
Raquel

Hi Raquel,
Do you mean a custom script or one of the canned scripts that ship with the CSS ?
If you want to load a custom script file, simply ftp to the CSS.
Once connected to the CSS via FTP (you will be in the running code directory when you ftp into any CSS), CD to "script". Once in this directory, you can "put" the file into the directory. Do not use any file extensions here.
Now, from the CSS cli, you can do a "script play filename" where filename is the name of your script. If you want to see what scripts are there (to see if your file is there correctly), do a "script play ?"
If you need further direction, feel free to reply here. You can also have a look at the following link:

    How to load images from css file in JavaFX 8 - Stack Overflow

    There is nothing special to do - you execute the statement from your program just like any other SQL statement.  The only thing to be aware of are the privilege/permission issues:
    When loading from a file on a client computer:
    READ CLIENT FILE privilege is also required for the database user.
    Read privileges are required on the directory being read from.
    The allow_read_client_file database option must be enabled.
    The read_client_file secure feature must be enabled.
    Revoking these privileges is also the only way you can prevent a user from executing the statement.

  • How to load data with carriage return through DRM action script ?

    Hello,
    We are using DRM to manage Essbase metadata. These metadata contain a field for member formula.
    Currently it's a string data type property in DRM so we can't use carriage return and our formula are really hard to read.
    But DRM support other data type property : memo or formatted memo where we can use carriage return.
    Then in the export file, we have change the record delimiter to an other character than CRLF
    Our issue : we are regularly using action script to load new metadata => How to load data properties with carriage return using action script ? There is no option to change the record delimiter.

    here what I want to do through action script : loading a formula that use more on than one line:

  • How to write Java Scripts in Apex

    Hi All,
    Can any on tell me how to write Java Scripts in Apex.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Mukund

    If you want to link your custom JavaScripts to an Apex page, you have several options:
    1. Add an HTML Region on Page 0 (Script will be written to every page) called something like "JavaScript & CSS". In this region add your Script to the region source like this:
    <script language="JavaScript">
    function hell ()
    alert ("Hello World");
    </script>
    2. Add a similar region to the page you are working on (can only be accessed on this page)
    3. Create an external JavaScript file and either load it into the WORKSPACE or into the images (/i/) directory on the server. You can then link the JS into you page via modifying the Page Template.
    Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you want any further help with option 3.

  • How to load and unload more than one external swf files in different frames?

    I do not have much experience on Adobe Flash or Action Script 3, but I know the basics.
    I am Arabic language teacher, and I design an application to teach Arabic, I just would like to learn how to load and unload more than one external swf files in different frames.
    Thanks

    Look into using the Loader class to load the swf files.  If you want to have it happen in different frames then you can put the code into the different frames.

  • How to load doc-level JavaScript via FDF

    I apologize if this question is answered elsewhere on the forum -- I've spent a fair amount of time searching through the forum and other resources brought up in response to Google searches, all without a solid result; therefore I'm hoping that someone in the forum can help out.
    I've got several dozen PDF forms that all use the same core set of JavaScript functions to perform various validation and formatting processes. So far, I've loaded this library as a document-level script in each PDF and then loaded the PDFs to the server.
    When a user requests to view their specific document, the link that they click actually generates an FDF file that is sent to their browser. The FDF causes the target PDF to be loaded in the browser, into which the FDF data is loaded. A page load Script executes the do_DocLoad function, which sets up the document for initial user use (populates combo boxes, etc.) The user then can interact with the form in various ways and then, optionally, submit the data back to the server for processing. The library functions are referenced in various field formatting or validation calls, as well as by the Submit button that I've got on the form that performs a final field validation prior to submission. So far, this process works very well.
    The issue is that every time a change, even a minor one, is needed in any of the core set of library functions, we have to open each and every PDF to apply the change, then save it and upload the entire batch to the server. Because of the significant amount of time that this can take (which will increase as the PDF library grows), I'd like to instead load the JavaScript functions in the FDF.
    The ideal would be a method to allow the FDF to cause Acrobat to load the script from a file on the server, similar to how the PDF is called. Because I don't know if that would even work, I'm looking at having the ASPX page that processes the FDF, merging the user's data into the FDF format before serving it to the browser also merge in the script and serve it all up piping hot for the user's enjoyment (or so we hope). I've tinkered with the FDF, adding a /JavaScript section at the end of the FDF as follows:
        << /V (~data_client_name~)/T (client_name)>>
        << /V (~data_client_address~)/T (client_address)>>]
        /F (~data_FileName~)/ID [ <  blah blah ><  blah blah >]
        /JavaScript << /Doc 2 0 R >>
      >>
    >>
    endobj
    2 0 obj [ (DocScript1) 3 0 R ] endobj
    3 0 obj <<>>
    stream
    ** script goes here **
    endstream
    endobj
    trailer << /Root 1 0 R >>
    %%EOF
    In the section where ** script goes here ** I have attempted to paste the script library, without success. This library consists of several different JavaScript functions.
    In testing, the above didn't work, unfortunately. :-( I got all kinds of wierd data in the form fields that are processed by the functions that I was trying to load - the page open calls didn't return any errors, which was good, but the fields formatted by the initial setup method were all messed up. I'm looking for any pointers/tips on what I might be doing wrong. Are there special characters that I need to escape/avoid in sending JavaScript this way (I'm using regular expression pattern matching and other code within the script which contain some special characters such as /, \, ^, etc.). Is there a limit to the size of the data that I can stream in this way? Is it as simple as loading my script /Before instead of /Doc? Anything else that I might try?
    Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be given! Every time that I get to go back and spend a couple of hours updating the core library in all of these PDFs is time that I'd rather be spending doing other things. Thanks again!

    This sounds very intriguing and not at all along the lines of what I was thinking of. I'm glad to have the forums to be able to get different perspectives on
    things like this!
    I have a couple of additional questions on this. I like #3 but, not having done it before, I'm curious as to how to get it to work.
    I presume that I would create a new batch process in Acrobat (I am running Acrobat Pro 9) and then on each document processed, do the following:
    1. Import a PDF page (from a specified file that has the document-level scripts included.
    2. Delete the page just-added
    3. Save
    4. Repeat, all docs specified.
    Now questions:
    1. I don't understand how the document scripts will be "left behind" when doing this.
    2. Do I need to delete the existing document script(s) before doing this, or will they automagically be overwritten?
    3. Are there any steps between the insert and the delete that I need to do?
    Finally, just to add another twist, have you seen this work with PDFs that are secured (we apply a password to protect the documents from alteration, with the exception of filling out form fields)?
    So far, in testing, the best method appears to be to store the PDFs separate in an un-secured format (it simply won't work if they're secured -- at least, I haven't gotten it to work yet -- I could probably do it interactively, but who wants to type the goofy password 500 times). I have a separate dummy PDF (1 page with just some explanation text if someone opens it and document-level scripts included) also stored in the folder. Then, run the batch process to do the insert, delete, then apply security on all docs in the folder. So far, so good. The only part that doesn't seem to be working is that the document-level scripts on the dummy PDF don't get left behind after the insert/delete. I removed the doc-level scripts on the original PDFs so that I could more easily verify that the ones from the dummy PDF get "left behind". I'm sure that I'm missing something simple here -- If you can help close that final gap, I'd greatly appreciate it!

  • How to load color table in a indexed mode file??

    How to load color table in a indexed mode file??
    Actually, if i opened a indexed file and want to edit color table by loading another color table from desktop (or any other location), any way to do this through java scripting??

    continuing...
    I wrote a script to read a color table from a GIF file and save to an ACT color table file. I think it might be useful for someone.
    It goes a little more deeper than the code I posted before, as it now identifies the table size. It is important because it tells how much data to read.
    Some gif files, even if they are saved with a reduced palette (less than 256), they have all the bytes for the full color palette filled inside the file (sometimes with 0x000000). But, some gif files exported in PS via "save for web" for example, have the color table reduced to optimize file size.
    The script store all colors into an array, allowing some kind of sorting, or processing at will.
    It uses the xlib/Stream.js in xtools from Xbytor
    Here is the code:
    // reads the color table from a GIF image
    // saves to an ACT color table file format
    #include "xtools/xlib/Stream.js"
    // read the 0xA byte in hex format from the gif file
    // this byte has the color table size info at it's 3 last bits
    Stream.readByteHex = function(s) {
      function hexDigit(d) {
        if (d < 10) return d.toString();
        d -= 10;
        return String.fromCharCode('A'.charCodeAt(0) + d);
      var str = '';
      s = s.toString();
         var ch = s.charCodeAt(0xA);
        str += hexDigit(ch >> 4) + hexDigit(ch & 0xF);
      return str;
    // hex to bin conversion
    Math.base = function(n, to, from) {
         return parseInt(n, from || 10).toString(to);
    //load test image
    var img = Stream.readFromFile("~/file.gif");
    hex = Stream.readByteHex(img);      // hex string of the 0xA byte
    bin = Math.base(hex,2,16);          // binary string of the 0xA byte
    tableSize = bin.slice(5,8)          // Get the 3 bit info that defines size of the ct
    switch(tableSize)
    case '000': // 6 bytes table
      tablSize = 2
      break;
    case '001': // 12 bytes table
      tablSize = 4
      break;
    case '010': // 24 bytes table
      tablSize = 8

    case '011': // 48 bytes table

      break;
    case '101': // 192 bytes table
      tablSize = 64

    case '110': // 384 bytes table

  • How to load member for "sales same date last year"?

    I need to load a member in Measures named "PriorYrSales" with "Sales" for the same date last year as today's date. Thus, retrieving "PriorYrSales" for 2/10/2002 would return the sales amount for 2/10/2001. Since days roll-up to months, quarters, years, it would be easy to determine how we're doing compared to the same time last year.Data is loaded each day for a date range from the current date and the preceding x days. Substitution variables are available for the beginning and ending date and the same dates for last year.For example: Data is loaded from beginning date of 2/01/2002 through ending date of 2/10/2002.The prior year date variables contain 2/01/2001 and 2/10/2001.The time period dimension is as follows:FY01->Jan2001-->01012001 (Alias: 1/01/2001)-->01022001 (Alias: 1/02/2001)-->all the dates in Jan->Feb2001-->02012001 (Alias: 2/01/2001)-->02022001 (Alias: 2/02/2001)-->all the dates in Febetc.FY02->Jan2002-->01012002 (Alias: 1/01/2002)-->01022002 (Alias: 1/02/2002)-->all the dates in Jan->Feb2002-->02012002 (Alias: 2/01/2002) -->02022002 (Alias: 2/01/2002)-->all the dates in Febetc.Thanks your any and all suggestions.Phil

    Perhaps I wasn't clear in the first post. The intent is to easily compare sales for a current date/period to the same date/period last year. Neither Excel nor Analyzer provide a method that I'm aware of to retrieve data as follows:-------------------------------------Period Sales PriorYrSales Diff4/15/2002 1,000 900 100-------------------------------------(900 is sales for 4/15/2001)(100 is the calculated difference.)Nor can I do this:-------------------------------------Period Sales Period Sales Diff4/15/2002 1,000 4/15/2001 900 100-------------------------------------What Excel and Analyzer do allow is:-------------------------------------Period Sales 4/15/2002 1,0004/15/2001 900-------------------------------------I readily acknowledge that the data is redundant but I can't think of another option that will allow Excel and Analyzer to easily retrieve the values for comparison. If the PriorYrSales member can be loaded then the users can compare years, quarters, months and days quite easily.My challenge is knowing how use a calc script to derive prior year dates that correspond to current year dates. Something like:PriorYrSales->04152002 = Sales->04152001I've considered arrays but I've never used them and the documentation is not helpful enough for me.Thanks for your response.Phil

  • How to load only the jsp page even after applying template

    Hi,
    I have a webpage template with header,footer, Dynamic Menu etc. Now I assigned this .jtpl template to all my existing fases jsp files.
    The problem is when I submit a form in jsp, the entire page including template gets loaded again by which we can notice significant time for loading menus and other things.
    Is there any way to avoid this entire template loading and make only the jsp page to load? Please help
    May be this can be achieved by frames. But I dont have idea on how I can merge template with frames. If someone can provide that even would help me better.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    I found the solution .

  • Reloading CSS in SWFLoader loaded Flex app.

    Hello,
    I am having the following problem:
    I have a Main application with a SWFLoader that loads a child Flex application. When a button is pressed, SWFLoader loads a new child Flex application. Currently LoaderContext for SWFLoader is created as follows:
    var context:LoaderContext = new flash.system.LoaderContext(false, ApplicationDomain.currentDomain);
    Everything seems to work okay except that CSS style sheets definded in the first child application cannot be overwritten by the CSS style sheets in the second.
    After much research I see the following two options: 1. load style sheets externally using StyleManager.loadStyleDeclaration() method or 2. specify a different ApplicationDomain for the child Flex application.
    The problem with solution #1 is I would like to keep all style sheets embedded in either the main application or each child application. So, my question is, how do load/reset CSS styles while keeping the CSS (or CSS compiled to SWF) embedded when StyleManager.loadStyleDeclaration() only takes a URL as a parameter?
    The problem with solution #2 is as follows: when I change the ApplicationDomain property in the LoaderContext declaration to this:
    var context:LoaderContext = new flash.system.LoaderContext(false, new ApplicationDomain(ApplicationDomain.currentDomain));
    I get the following error when I load a second child application into the SWFLoader:
    TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert spark.components::VScrollBar@64d6851 to spark.components.VScrollBar.
    (See attached txt for full trace stack.)
    I'm using Flex 4.0 beta 2 and Flash Builder beta 2.
    Also, I found this article on per Module StyleManager which does not look like it has been implemented and is basically exactly what I'm trying to accomplish but with a SWFLoader instead ofModule.
    If someone could please explain or point me in the right direction on how to either 1. load Flex 4 beta 2 application as a sub application domain app without generating VScollBar error (and if that will even solve overwriting CSS styles issue). or 2. how to load StyleManager.loadStyleDeclaration() from an embedded css or swf, I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thank you in advance,
    Ilya Voloshin

    Alex, thank you for the quick reply -- I'll give it a shot. Where would I find the nightly builds? I found the source code repository, but if there's a nightly build I can check out, that would be much easier.
    Thanks,
    Ilya

  • How to load custom root Xserve LaunchAgents on reboot

    One of our new Xserve'rs is running Snow Leopard, and I have taken the plunge and started rewriting cron jobs into launchd jobs. I have the user-level jobs running just fine, and have the username/Library/LaunchAgents/.launchd.conf successfully loading launchd jobs when the system reboots.
    Now, I have to run some launchd jobs as root (to permit rsync backup scripts to read/write user and system files with restrictive permissions). When I load the *plist files manually as root, all is good. But I haven't found out how to load root-level *plist files on reboot. I have tried putting the *plist launchd jobs in /System/Library/LaunchAgents, and I have tried putting them in the root user /var/root/Library/LaunchAgents with the accompanying .launchd.conf file.
    How do I get my launchd jobs that need to run as root to load on reboot?

    Dave,
    I am by no means an expert, but on Leopard server I have used Lingon to configure the regular script calls I needed (I had used cron jobs so had to switch when upgrading to 10.5). It has an assistant to create the plist files and knows where to put them and I believe it did for me what you are looking for.
    Cheers,
    Michael.
