Csv files for OBIA procurement and spend analytics

hi,
which csv files we need to configure in order to install OBIA 7.9.6.3 procurement and spend analytic for EBS R12 1 3 as source?
In documentation, oracle given set of files for 11i & R12? do we need to configure csv files for both version ???
As per documentation,counter files for , CSV files req for source as 11i are not there in R12???
please guide???

To be safe, configure all of the domain value files documented in the section http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E20490_01/bia.7963/e19039/configsupplychain.htm#CACIEBBH
Do this regardless of whether they state 11i or R12 in the filename. Some of the files have not changed from 11i adapters, so the filenames have not been updated e.g. domainValues_Employee_Expense_Type_ora11i.csv

There doesnt seem to be much diferences in terms of functionality or features. If you check the release notes..there are a few differences in the 7963 release related to bugs or packaging:

CLM Feature Pack is deployed as an add-on to Oracle EBS 12.1.3 for delivering an integrated acquisition management solution for federal government procurement.
CLM functionality has introduced changes to the Oracle EBS data model that affects data extraction and loading for Oracle Procurement and Spend Analytics. Customers with Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and the CLM feature pack must apply additional filters to exclude CLM records and to ensure that it does not interfere with V7.9.6.3 Procurement and Spend Analytics functionality.
Workaround
No work-around is available for this issue.

Workaround
This issue is addressed by Oracle E-Business Suite patch 10038359.

How does DRM impact configuring the CSV files for Informatica on the OBIEE apps?
Do we still need to configure the buckets in the CSV for chart of accounts, custom calendar etc?

Issue with OOTB Procurement and Spend report on top of W_AP_INV_DIST_F

We are implementing OBIEE 11g on top of EBS R12. Observed today that AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBURIONS_ALL has a lot of records with PO_DISTRIBUTION_ID as NULL (This is expected as this table holds not only PO but also Expense tyoe invoices). The mapping used to populate W_AP_INV_DIST_F (SDE_ORA_APInvoiceDistributionFact) uses the PO_Distribution_ID to derive Product_ID. Thus, in W_AP_INV_DIST_F a lot of lines exist with PRODUCT_WID of NULL (which is also understable).
My question is - In Procurement and Spend OOTB reports (for ex - Spend by Top Categories) , it is showing all records from W_AP_INV_DIST (and not filtering to Spend_Type of "PO Matched"). Thus, most of the records is going into the "Unspecified" bucket.
Any thoughts on why the OOTB report would work like that (This is affecting any OOTB report that is built on top of W_AP_INV_DIST_F and involves products or product categories)?

Out of curiosity, why do you only maintain 13 months of history in PeopleSoft? I have never heard of this. Dont the business users want to track PeopleSoft before 13 months? With regard to your question, given you are only able to load 13 months on a full load and this is impacting the links to the correct suppliers, you can consider keeping a refresh date on the tasks that load the W_SUPPLIER_D tables. This can prevent reload for the supplier dimension. However, I am not sure how you intend to handle the other dimensions as I assume you will have the same issue. If you only have 13 months of history, BI Apps will only load 13 months of history on a full load. Also for the SCD dimensions, there should be a CURRENT_FLAG that is set to Y only for the current record and there should still be a link to the previous records where CURRENT_FLG = N. As long as your SCD is working fine, and you can prevent the reload of supplier dimension via the refresh date changes, it may work. I would advise your PeopleSoft team to maintain history..esp if they want to take advantage of Analytics and trend analysis.

How to search a .csv file for data using its timestamp, then import to labview

Hi, I'm currently obtaining density, viscosity and temperature data from an instrument, adding a timestamp and writing it to a .csv file which I can view in Excel. This works fine (see attached code) but what I need to do now is to search that csv file for data which was obtained at a certain time, import the temperature, density & viscosity values at this time back into Labview to do some calculations with them, while the data acquisition process is still ongoing.
I've found various examples on how to import an entire csv file into labview, but none on how to extract data at a specific time. Also, whenever I try to do anything with the .csv file while my data acquistion VI is running, I receive error messages (presumably because I'm trying to write to and import data from the .csv file simultaneously). Is there some way around this, maybe using case structures?
If you need to know my skill level, I've been using Labview for a few weeks and prior to that have basically no experience of writing code, so any help would be great. Thanks!

It sounds as if you are going about this a little backwards writing to a data file and then extracting from the file but its the weekend so I can't think of an improved way to do it at the moment.
Searching for a specific time with those specific values is quite easy, or if you wanted to select any time then you could interpolate the values to find any value that you want (This is where the contiguous measurement comes in, as you have readings at discrete times you will have to interpolate the values if you want to get the 'measured value' at a time point that is not exactly one of your measured points).
If you can extract the TDMS time column and the T, D & V then simply thresholding and interpolating each of your array/data sets should allow readings at your desired times.

If you want to see the out of box dashboards and reports for Procurement and Spend, then you can look at Product Guide, it lists all the dashboards and sample reports. However product guide is not available via Metalink3 or oracle site, you can try requesting it via your account representative for Oracle.

Error in LSMW while specifying file for Material Cassification and Info Rec

I'm getting an error in LSMW while specifying file for Material Cassification and Info Record using batch input method.
The error message i'm getting is:
"Length of physical file name 'R2R_33_PURCH_INFR_1_PIR_CREATE.lsmw.conv' cannot be longer than 30 characters
Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060049"
I tried changing the file name but that is not working out. Please help.

Just try this,
Go to LSMW, Specify file option, use display/change (Ctrl+F1)
Select the converted data and double click, change the file name there,
You will be getting it as "'R2R_33_PURCH_INFR_1_PIR_CREATE"
Just trim this to "'R2R_33_PUR_INF_1_PIR_CRE" and try...

Hello Experts. Documentation say that there is sample CSV files for modules that come with delivered BI content. I am planning to work with the demo content which i have already installed. I then need to populate the objects with the relevant demo data that is said to be in the CSV files that come with the demo content. Please let me know from where i can get these CSV files. UWL config file for Customer, Vendors and Materials

We are trying to integrated uwl to connect to a MDM system for objects Vendors, Customer and Materials. I have looked at the MDM UWL config file, it is configured only for Business partners and products.. does anybody have the config file for Customer, Vendor and Material using business content..

Hey Som,
If you are talking about Portal UWL, then you have to go for System Admin, there you should see UWL related iviews. There you have the ability to download the uwl xml. in that you have to do some modifications.
All that matters for your problem is the MDM System you have created. when you chanage the respository informatin at this system. then your problem should be solved.
