CUP 5.3 (SP5): Error after creating mitigations and approving

After creating a request, and mitigating the risks in the request, I receive the error:
Mitigation control <MC ID> could not be saved for user <USER ID> - Exception from the service : Mitigation record doesn't exist
However, the roles get autoprovisioned without the mitigating control being updated.

I was getting an error in RAR that it couldn't send out the notification e-mail. The Java Mail Client had not been configured. Once I had done this, and restarted the server0, it worked.

Error after creating a struts portlet in weblogic 8.1 SP 5

Hi,
I am using weblogic 8.1 SP 5, to develop an struts-portlet.
I tested my struts application and it is working fine.
I have one action i.e firstAction and 2 jsp's in my struts application.
The action just forwards to the one jsp through struts-config.
However, when i try to start the server after creating the struts-portlet i get the following error:

Syntax Error after creating enhancements for subroutine

Problem:
Creating enhancement sections gives a syntax error when creating enhancement options and implementations for a subroutine and then ceating enhancement options and implementations for the call to that same subroutine.

Syntax Error:
"Different number of parameters in FORM and PERFORM (routine: SET_LAYOUT, number of formal parameters: 2, number of actual parameters: 1)


Here's the following scenario:


A subroutine is defined in a program.
The subroutine is called within the same program.


I then executed these steps:
 1. Defined an enhancement section around the subroutine definition
 2. Defined an enhancement section around the subroutine call.
 3. Implemented the enhancement section around the subroutine definition and add an additional parameter.


 Currently, this gives a syntax error as expected, since the call to the subroutine needs 1 more parameter.


 4. Implemented the enhancement section for the subroutine call. I change the call in the implementation so it passes the new parameter.


A syntax check to this gives an error. The syntax checker is not only checking the new implementation, but also the original subroutine that should have been overwritten.


The enhancement sections use the same enhancement spot, and the enhancement implementations use the same implementation.


I tried various combinations of using different enhancement spots and/or implementations, but all give the same syntax error. I tried separating the subroutine in a different include and retried my testing, but it still gave the same syntax error.


Here's the sample code I first created to try troubleshooting the problem:

Yes, Sandra. That is what did and it worked with no syntax errors!
I'm not sure if this is getting off topic or not, but the SAP documentation(taken from the SAP help after pressing F1 on the keyword static in ERP6) seems misleading:
"The STATIC addition is intended for the enhancement of data declarations, while the statement ENHANCEMENT-POINT without the STATIC addition is designed for the enhancement of executable coding."
I would think the enhancement section ZEP_Z_MICHAEL_02 would fall under the category of executable code, while the enhancement section ZEP_Z_MICHAEL_01 would fall under the category of declarative code.
Unfortunately, all the SAP enhancement sections I come accross are dynamic. The SAP help explains the reasoning for this:
"In contrast to the statement ENHANCEMENT-POINT, the addition STATIC of the statement ENHANCEMENT-SECTION can only be used with maximum caution for changes of data declarations, because a replacement and no completion is carried out. Especially application development within SAP should not use the addition STATIC at all with ENHANCEMENT-SECTION as the change will be active in the entire customer system. "
I do not know what the word "completion" means in the previous quote, so I can't determine why it would matter. Regardless, if a developer wanted to change a standard subroutine declaration, they would also have to mod an enhancement section to change it to static. This seems to defeat the purpose of using enhancements, but maybe this scenario is not what enhancements were intended for.

Getting error after creating project of DC ess~Org from ESS Track

Our basis team just now implemented the track for ESS and MSS.So we need to sync all application from DTR.
We are facing problem with one Dc essOrg.I have created project essOrg from ESS track in inactive DC of development configuration.Build of DC is successful,where as in the Task tab its showing below error message:

1.I have close the project.Then remove it from client.Then close the NWDs and reopen it.Still the same error we are getting after creatig project from the track.

after creating the project, dont build it, close the project and close you NWDS then open the NWDS ,open the project and build, it will work ithink,
i faced the same problem, try this may be it weill work.
dont remove from client, only close the project.,

Errors after creating a project in the DC

Hi,
I have created a DC for my track trk_cc with the vendor sap.com. After creating the application and component for the project i am getting many errors in each and every line of the code.

For the above code getting the following error.
com.sap cannot be resolved for the view view.controleerAPI.
Like this throwing the error in the View,doInit,ModifyView methods.
Could someone help me out to check whats the problem?

Try this...
right click the project>properties->java build path->identify the jar files entres location in ur sys and take a copy seperately
in the navigator view of ur project---delete the folder gen_wdp
right click the project>properties->java build path->delete all the jar files entries
now again add (add external jars) same that u have deleted from the copy u have created.

Error After creating 2 new wagetypes.0015 40 00E7 does not exist in T512Z

Hi Experts,
I have created 2 new wagetypes.They are properly transported to Quality server.
And the amount is calculting correctly in Qual server for infotype 0015.Basis guys has transported that request to production server.
Now i am unable to find the wagetypes which i have created.When i go to pa30 and select 0015 Infotype and subtype 00E7 ,it is saying that specified subtype is invalid.When i try to create it is giving message that 0015 40 00E7 does not exist in T512Z-Check your entry.Really there is no particular wagetypes in that table.But in Quality they were there.
What could be the problem.What can i do to appear those wagetypes in Production Sysytem.
Please advice me to resolve the issue.

Dear Vicky,
If you have this entry in Q system it should be request transfer issue. I have such a cases sometimes.
I recommend go to D system, delete the record from V_T512Z and save the table. System will ask you to create a new request. Create it and put your changes into. Go out of table and come back and create the same record into it save your changes.
Release your request and transfer it again to Q and P. Hope to see the record in P system.
Otherwise do the method Okan recommended thru SM30. It works also but sometimes recreating the records are the only solution as I know

i exported the application from apex.oracle.com and imported it to our environment
import went fine, but when I ran the IR page I got
ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00904: : invalid identifier
evidently the problem is a lack of public execute on DBMS_LOB, which is used in the generated IR source.
while waiting for the DBA to grant privs on DBMS_LOB, changing the dbms_lob.getlength call to length() fixes the IR.

As you are getting run-time error after entering the sold to party and material and the error is in SAPLV61Z ,
close the session for sometime and open again and then create sales order and then enter sold to party and material and then check wheather you are getting or not. If you are still facing the problem then take the help of the ABAP & BASIS consultant's.

OC4J not running after creating workspace and projects.

Created one workspace and added six projects. Added PostGes jar to library manager. Before doing this, the OC4J would run a test application successfully. After creating the workspace and project, I created another simple workspace with two JSP, on linked to the other. When trying to run this project get the following:

Remove the posgres jar from the library manager and still not able to run simple two page applications.
All the projects in the other workspace compile fine. The prolblem is that now I am not able to use the internal OC4J. I remove the workspace with the five projects, and the JARs and the two page app will not run.
The OC4J is running when launched from the IDE, ti just can find the pages.
New install of JDEV and the two page app will run fine. Add two user two user libraries and the app will not run.

Do you have a database connection to postgress defined in JDeveloper?
JDev might be picking this up and trying to add a datasource for it to the embedded OC4J - so try removing it, or alternatively add the postgress JDBC driver jar files to the libraries node under tools->embedded OC4J preferences.

Cannot find object after creating dimension and cube.

I need to develop a project using olap api to get olap data.
My db release is 10.1.0.2, owb is 10.1.0.4.
After i create dimension and cube in owb, I cannot find any object i have created in owb. Except that in OEM, after i click the button dimension, there comes an message as that the dimension does not have complete metadata or was created by old release and OEM will create a metadata for it. After that, I can find the dimension in AWM and get the imformation using olap api.
However, there is no measure button in OEM, I cannot find the measures in measure folder. So that i cannot get the information of the MdmMeasureDimension using olap api.
Can somebody help me with this issue? Thanks!

With OWB 10.1 and prior releases to get OLAP metadata for a dimension or cube you must have used the OWB transfer wizard to deploy the OLAP metadata. This bridge basically creates and executes a script with all of the CWM calls to create the OLAP dimension and cube metadata.
When you deployed the dimension from OWB in 10.1 it only created the 'create dimension DDL' for the object.

BHOLD:Error on Creating Campaigns and Changing Notification Emails

Hi,
While creating Campaigns and Changing the notification emails i am getting a popup box with message"error on saving settings".
I have tried every possibility but still getting the same error box.This error is not also being generated in Event Viewer.
Has anyone faced such error.If Yes Please let me know the reasons .Its urgent .

I am unable reproduce the error you are reporting with EA 1.0 on my Mac.
To clear your Edge preferences, delete this folder: /Users/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Edge Animate/1.0.0
Let us know if clearing the prefs fixes it. If not, please provide more info if there are any other steps to reproduce the error, as well as which version of MacOS X and your EA version (in the about box).
Also, I'm not sure if your plug-in is causing the problem (especially if it happens with a new project and you haven't referenced the plug-in in the HTML file) - but can you provide more information about the plug-in you're using?

Error after install SP3 and FixPack 2.5 in BO XI 3.1

Hello all,
We have a problem in BO after install SP3 and FP 2.5 in BO XI 3.1.
Some pages like Infoview and CMC are with wrong words, for example :
In CMC when access one Report and try reschedule it, the page where we configure the properties shows some wrong words and the button "Shedule" is in this format : "???schdule.button.schedule???" and all words "Schedule" in others place too.
Some one knows How can I solve this problem?
