Cur Point "time" Format

Hey Guys ,
I'm trying to load some timing info from an external XML file...the xml stores it like this "00:00:02" (2 seconds in)
Trying to load that into the time property is resulting in the rest of the script failing
Any idea how to I get it in there?
Thanks,
Steve

    Hi...All,
    1) my scenario is file-rfc-file using BPM,
we are getting file in xml format from source along with timestamp and this data will be going to R/3 and the acknowledgement (success or failure) file will be sending back to source system.
in this sceneario we have to fulfill in the follwing client requirement
    File1.<same File1 date and time>.XML
Is it possible to make it as the following? if it is possible
could u please let me know how to fulfill the follwing requirement.
    ACK File1.<same File1 date and time>.XML
    Where <same File1 date and time> format = u2018YYYYMMDDhhmmssu2019 .
    2) Is the XML file name visible in the SAP-XI monitoring screen and will it help to trace the messages?
    thanks in advance,

    Hi,
I didnot under stand your first question coulf you be more specfic.
    2. Ans : In general , we will follow the below steps
--First we we check for the file is picked or no, if not see the Sender side CC parameters like mode and path details
--If file was picked then we need to check whether we are using the File content conversion parameters or not if yes we need to check the FCC parameters ,
Goto RWB-Channelmonitoring by the following link
    http://host:port/mdt/channelmonitorservlet
select the sender side CC name and check for errors
If no errors in above, goto SXMB_MONI for Integration Engine xml processing , check for successful or error occured black or red color
--if success in SXMB_MONI then we need to check in RWB as above channel monitor now select the receiver side CC
If no errors then check for output file is placed intarget or not
Please reward points if it helps

  • How can i format my macbook 10.5.8 to snow leopord i am doing first time  format how its process and do i need to formet or upgrade and i have a snow leopard DVD????

how can i format my macbook 10.5.8 to snow leopord i am doing first time  format how its process and do i need to formet or upgrade and i have a snow leopard DVD???

First, I'd advise you to make a backup. Time Machine is fine, but I recommend making a bootable backup with Carbon Copy Cloner if possible.
Then, insert the Snow Leopard DVD (it's a retail version, right? Not a grey disk meant for another machine?) and run the installer on the disk. Should be automatic from that point in. You don't need to reformat your drive.

    Hi,
When we assign a floating point number to a field of type T
then the floating point number is converted into Packed number (As no. of Seconds) and then the Packed number is converted to time format(HH:MM:SS).
      data:
      w_float  type f,
      w_time   like sy-uzeit.
    w_float = '2.00+e4' .
    w_time  = w_float.
    write w_time.

  • Time format for  BBPMAININT transaction?

    Hi,
I am using BBPMAININT  transaction for editing vendor data.
    1. When I edit address, telephone, email data it is entering data format as Central time in CDHDR table.
    2. But when I edit other than this data ... like BANK, TAX and BIDDER tab  data ... it is entering GMT time format in CDHDR table.
Can any one tell me why it’s behaving like this?
Is it possible we can make consistence in time format for this application.
    Thanks for ur time.

  • Difference between LV 6.1 and LV 7.0 - Date\Time Format

I found different behviour of numeric controls in Date/Time format, or
in "Seconds to Date\Time String" function in LV6.1 and LV7.0
    In LV 6.1:
Absolute time in seconds is formated in control with date/time format,
output depends on local time format on computer, where this VI runs.
So if I start LabView on machine with specific time zone, and for
example DST on, the output was changed by these settings. ANY number
of second is handled by this settings.
    In LV 7.0:
Output still depends on specific time zone, but the use of the DST
on/off depends on absolute time value. So if the number represents
absolute time which fits period when DST was off, the output is
wihtout DST, even if the DST is on when this vi runs.
The solution in LV 7.0 is much more better than in LV 6.1, but ...
If data are measured and stored (store of absoulte time DBL) in one
time zone, and if they are processed in different time zone (for
exapmle where DST change is in different time), the data
    representation is wrong.
In LV 6.1 it was not correct too, but anyway there was a way how to
    solve this problem:
I stored absolute time DBL and GMT delta for every time stamp. When I
process this stored data on different computer with different time
zone, I recalculate time stamps in this way:
absolute time + stored GMT delta - GMT delta of computer where data
    are presented.
So in final I have correct time does not matter on time zone or any
other settings which are on computer where are data presented.
But on LV 7.0, the GMT delta is not constant for every data and this
algorithm is useless. I can simply show correct time when data are
from same time zone without any calculation, but it is almost
    imposible to correct show data
    from different time zone.
    My question is:
Is there any "ini file item", which can tell LabView 7.0 to use time
representation style as in LV 6.1 ?
    Thank you and best regards
    Jiri Hula

Thanks for the well written question.
Unfortunately, there is no ini token or any way of specifying LabVIEW use the LV 6.1 style.
I am attaching a LabVIEW 7.0 VI that calculates the UTC Offset for a given time value (I don't think the same code would work correctly in LabVIEW 6.1). The VI comments are:
The attached VI will take Daylight Saving and Time zone into account to compute the offset in seconds from UTC Time to the Local time (as specified by the computer). Note: This VI can aid in converting from Local Time to UTC time, but not in converting from one Timezone to another.
I hope it helps. Basically, your data is in UTC (absolute time) as it has always been, but LabVIEW 7.0 changed the way it displays the UTC data (trying to be more correct). If you wish to display it the way it was in LabVIEW 6.1, things are going to get a little tricky. LabVIEW 6.1 displayed the same DBL absolute time differently depending on if the current computer time was in DST or not. To get this behavior in LabVIEW 7.0, the equation:
absolute time + stored GMT delta - GMT delta of computer where data are presented
is still correct, but for LabVIEW 7.0 the GMT deltas now vary depending on whether the absolute time is in DST or not. It may be possible to convert the GMT offset you have saved from LabVIEW 6.1 into a set or pair of UTC Offsets. This would require a knowledge of what the DST state was for each of the data points in question.
The DST state or GMT/UTC offset that the computer currently is using may be obtained from the attached VI.
The absolute time is stored in GMT/UTC so that in different time zones it will still equate to the same time, even though it will be displayed differently. Another data format (such as storing the Hour, Minute, Second, Day, Month, Year; or storing the date as a string) might be more appropriate if the time should be displayed as the same local time regardless of the time zone.
I hope this helps. Please respond if you have any comments or questions.

  • During export from Discover to Excel, Time Format changes to Number Format

    Hi
I have a seconds column which is of number datatype. But in my report, I am converting the number in *0HH:MI:SS* format. For example, I have *4952534 seconds*. So my report is showing *1375:42:14* which is a Time Format. It looks good when I view the data in Discoverer Viewer or Plus. But when I try to export the data to Excel, the time format gets converted to *4952534 seconds*, which is creating problems. So can you suggest on how can I preserve the formatting during export to excel from discoverer.
    Thanks
    Sachin

    Hi,
Excel will not implement the 0HH:MI:SS data format, it just gets the field as a number. You will have to format the field into text using the calculation from my previous post.

  • Display value in hh:mm time format in SSRS Report

    Hi Everybody,
I have an SSRS report where one of the column is sum of time values. When I do the summation, the values are coming in this format. In the last column the minute value is getting displayed more than 60. How can I format it to proper time format as hh:mm
so that it displays as "08:15" . The expression which I am using is "  Sum(CDec(FormatNumber(Fields!Overtime_Hours.Value,2)),"Month"). Your help would be highly appreciated.

    Regards RCP

    Hi RPC24,
According to your description, you can calculate the correct value of time summation. Now you want to make the result into proper time format (hh:mm). Right?
In this scenario, we can convert the time into string type, split the string based on delimiter ":" and convert each part into integer. Then do the calculation for each part and set the hour increase 1 every 60 minutes (we can adjust in expression).
We have tested this case in our local environment. Here are screenshots for you reference:
    1. The report design looks like below:
    A: =Format(TimeValue(Fields!StartTime.Value.ToString),"hh:mm")
    B:=CStr(SUM(CInt(split(CStr(Format(TimeValue(Fields!StartTime.Value.ToString),"hh:mm")),":")(0)))+SUM(CInt(split(CStr(Format(TimeValue(Fields!StartTime.Value.ToString),"hh:mm")),":")(1)))\60)+":"+CStr(SUM(CInt(split(CStr(Format(TimeValue(Fields!StartTime.Value.ToString),"hh:mm")),":")(1)))
    Mod 60)
Ps: In this sample, we used Time data type. You may need to do some modification in your expression based on the data type of the time data field.
    2. The result looks like below:

Summing the Value of HH: MM: SS In SSRS

  • Time Format using text variable with replacement path

    Hi Friends,
I've used "Text variable with replacement path" to make the column heading dynamic by replacing the values referring from "0calday"...
everything is working fine, but here it is displaying the time format like
YYYYMMDD (20030101), i want it to be displayed DDMMYYYY (01012003) in the column heading... how to make it possible?
pls waiting for ur inputs, it's an urgent...
    Regards,
    Pattnaik

    Hi Satyakam,
In the text variable properties make sure that in the replacment path you have chosen "Text" to appear date as per user setting . Other wise as in your case it must be set to "Key" which always shows in the format YYYYMMDD.
    Hope that helps.

  • Data services with SQL Server 2008 and Invalid time format variable

    Hi all
Recently we have switched from DI on SQL Server 2005, to DS(Date Services) on SQL Server 2008. However I have faced an odd error on the query that I was running successfully in DI.
I validate my query output using a validation object to fill either Target table (if it passes), or the Target_Fail table (if it fails). Before sending data to the Target_Fail table, I map the columns using a query to the Target_Fail table. As I have a column called 'ETL_Load_Date' in that table, which I should fill it with a global variable called 'Load_Date'. I have set this global variable in the script at the very first beginning of the job. It is a data variable type:
    $Load_Date = to_char(sysdate(),'YYYY.MM.DD');
When I assign this global variable to a datetime data type cloumn in my table and run the job using Data Services, I get this error:
error message for operation <SQLExecute>: <[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Invalid time format>.
However I didn't have this problem when I was running my job on the SQL Server 2005 using Data Integrator. The strange thing is that, when I debug this job, it runs completely successfully!!
Could you please help me to fix this problem?
Thanks for your help in advance.

    Thanks for your reply.
The ETL_Date is a datetime column and the global variable is date data type. I have to use the to_char() function to be able to get just the date part of the current system datetime. Earlier I had tried date_part function but it returns int, which didn't work for me.
I found what the issue was. I don't know why there were some little squares next to the name of the global variable which I had mapped to the ETL_Date in the query object!!! The format and everything was OK, as I had the same mapping in other tables that had worked successfully.
When I deleted the column in the query object and added it again, my problem solved.
