Time format for  BBPMAININT transaction?

Hi,
I am using BBPMAININT  transaction for editing vendor data.
1. When I edit address, telephone, email data it is entering data format as Central time in CDHDR table.
2. But when I edit other than this data ... like BANK, TAX and BIDDER tab  data ... it is entering GMT time format in CDHDR table.
Can any one tell me why it’s behaving like this?
Is it possible we can make consistence in time format for this application.
Thanks for ur time.
Murali.

Hi
Which SRM version are you using ?
What is the purpose behind all this ? What's the requirement ?
<b> Anyways, Try checking the (In Transaction SU01 ) User attributes from which you are modifying the BBPMAINT transaction. What timezone, date format is mentioned there ?
Change it accordingly and then try out again. Does it results in any changes ?</b>
Hope this will help.
Please reward suitable points, incase it suits your requirements.

  • Business Partner Field Grouping Config for BBPMAININT transaction

    Hi,
Vendor from ECC (6.0) are replicated to SRM (5.0) via the standard vendor replication program BBP_VENDOR_SYNC.  In SRM, I want to hide/suppress some fields (ie: tax numbers) on the business partner transactions BBPMAININT and BP.  I tried to acheive this via Business Partner Field Grouping config, and it works for BP transaction but it does not work for BBPMAININT transaction.
Does anyone know how to hide/suppress fields for BBPMAININT transaction?

  • Image date/time format for import naming

When naming images with the image date & time during import, it uses the format of YYYY-MM-DD HHMMSSAP
Is it possible to reconfigure this so
    1) the space in between the date and time is gone
    2) the hyphens in the date are gone
    3) it uses 24 hour time not am/pm?
I didn't see anything in the preferences, nor did I see anything appropriate in the plist.
Unfortunately using that format and then exporting an image from it for the web leaves it with an ugly file name that needs manual editing - I hate seeing URLs with a %20 in them because of spaces in file names.
    Chris

Although I agree that I would like more ability to customize the date and time format (Have you seen the renaming feature in Graphic Converter? It's great!), there is a quick workaround for at least eliminating the space in the name:
    1. Open the name format editing window by selecting Edit from the name format pull-down.
    2. Select Image Date/Time.
    3. Look in the Format field. See how the two ellipses with Date and Time are separated by a little space? That's actually a space character and can be edited.
    4. Put the cursor in that field and replace the space with whatever character you want (like _ for instance).
    5. Now filenames will look like: 2006-04-03_121212PM which is a bit better.
    6. And Aperture very cooly remembers this edit, so on the net import you only have to select Image Date/Time from the pull-down and you still have you edit.
Now, what I want to do is get rid of the -'s in the date and have the time be 24hour format. Sequential and unique names that are as short as possible!

  • Date format for call transaction

    Hi,
What is the best solution for passing a date field to a call transaction in the date format that the user has in his settings?.
    Rgds

The best solution is to define a character field of length 10.  Then WRITE the date to the BDC_DATE and then use this variable when passing to BDC.
    data: bdc_date(10) type c.
    write sy-datum to bdc_Date.

  • How can I see the commit time stamp for a transaction?

I’m looking to see if there is any way to tell, through a select, when a transaction was committed?
I know you can get the transaction id by selecting the
sys.dm_tran_current_transaction within a trigger and saving it to the table your writing to. But once you have that can you later use that transaction ID to see when the transaction as a whole was committed. This
would be similar to the way change tracking uses the sys.dm_tran_commit_table, and the $sys_change_xdes_id field on the table being tracked, but you could do it through a select without being logged into a DAC connection. My question pertains to SQL Server
versions 2005 and greater, but if this can only be done in a specific version please let me know.
This would pertain to a read committed isolation level if that makes a diffrence.

  • Difficulty with Format Value for Time Format

I have a vi where the current time is split out of an Analog waveform (using Get Waveform Components), and subtracted from a starting time, to result in  a relative time since the test began.  This may not be the most elegant way of doing it, but it works great.  The problem is that when I try to convert the elapsed time in seconds back to a time format for saving to a spreadsheet, I get the results shown by the probes.  In case the screen capture is not clear enough, the format string is     %<%H:%M:%S>t.  A colleague has tried this format and it works great. He's running 8.2, and I'm running 7.1.  Other than that, our applications appear identical.  Any ideas?

I'm also on 8.2 and it works fine for me. Maybe format value couldn't handle time format codes in 7.1. I'm not really sure and I don't have it installed to check. Why don't you use "Format into String" instead? It will work the same way, and should work fine with 7.1.

  • ConsoleOne lacking Date/Time-Format-Tab for Client-Setting

I remember from GW6 the Client-Setting-Tab in ConsoleOne for Date-/Time-Format (for local german format)
There is a tab with these settings in the GW8-Client, but I cannot find this specific setting in ConsoleOne.
    Any ideas?

The availability in ConsoleOne with GW6.0 is confirmed. Now, since it seems to be gone with GW8.0, how would someone deal with the need of a central adjustment of this setting? At time I am running through the firm with setting this at the users workplace in the GW8.0-Client under Tools/Options/Calendar/Date-Time with hitting the button "Set to System" (or something like that - I have it in German).

We are able to generate DME file in MT 100 format for a Single Transaction.

    Hi,
I am just trying to give some additional information on this one. Here is a snippet from the PDF handbook.
    Option:
SpoolBatches Enter Yes to tell the PDF Print Driver to print an entire batch of transaction to a single PDF file. The default is No.
    Please do keep in mind...
    • To create a linearized PDF file (for page-at-a-time downloading), you must set this option to No.
    • If you are using single step processing, you must set this option to No.
In addition to this, you must also turn off the MultiFilePrint callback function. To do this, remove or comment out the CallbackFunc option. Here is an example of commenting out the CallbackFunc option:
    < Print >
    ; CallbackFunc = MultiFilePrint
You cannot generate linearized PDF files if you set the SpoolBatches option to Yes because when linearizing, the PDF Print Driver must have the entire contents of the PDF
file in memory. Since batches can be very large, it is not practical to keep an entire batch in memory.
    Important point for your reference:
I just went through the FAQ in the below link and understood that there are some problems when you try to create a single PDF for a batch as a whole - Acrobat Reader only display the first transaction in a PDF file which contains multiple transactions.

  • BO 3.1 WEBI Time format variable not showing correctly

    Hi,
I apologise in advance. I know this topic has been covered many times in previous forums but I have been through each and I am still encountering an issue.
My requirement is to convert x number of seconds into a HH:MM:SS time format for both positive and negative numbers in WEBI.
I found a formula on a forum here that suggest using the following code:
    =FormatNumber(Floor([Column_Name]/3600) ;"0") + ":" + FormatNumber(Floor(Mod([Column_Name];3600)/60);"00") + ":" + FormatNumber(Mod(Mod([Column_Name] ;3600) ;60) ;"00")
I have used this code and when I give the code an input of -720 seconds it outputs in the format -1:-12:00.
It is quite frustrating I cannot get this to the correct format, can anyone suggest what is wrong with this formula?
I am using WEBI for creating the formula on BO 3.1.
    Kind Regards,,
    John

    Hi,
    Let me try.
    This is your formula.
    =FormatNumber(Floor([Column_Name]/3600) ;"0") + ":" + FormatNumber(Floor(Mod([Column_Name];3600)/60);"00") + ":" + FormatNumber(Mod(Mod([Column_Name] ;3600) ;60) ;"00")
Issue with this formula is only when you have used negative seconds.I have break the formula =FormatNumber(Floor([Column_Name]/3600) ;"0")  and found this is giving the wrong result. If you divide -720/3600 you will get 0.2 and nearest integer is 0 but in this case 1 is coming.
Same time it is working properly with 720 and  the result  will be 0.
In this case i have  created one variable  which  convert the negative values to positive. If you enter -720 then it will convert 720 and you will get the 0 from first part.
    =If([Column_Name]<0) Then ([Column_Name]*-1) Else [Column_Name]
Second part is if you entered the negative values then output should be in the negative.but with above condition you will get the positive values.
Again i have created the formula If([Column_Name]<>[Column]) Then "- which compare the object values and see if I have changed anything.
Like i have entered -720 so first variable will convert to 720 then in next formula it will check -720 is not equal to 720 (Which is not) then add - (minus sign) and same calculation else part if is equal then use the same formula which you have put.
Hope this is clear to you.
    Regards,
    Amit

  • Date and Time stamp for the archives

    Hi,
I'm trying to set up a date/time stamp field for a Documaker archive.
I've added a TIME_STAMP field in my APPIDX.DFD and I populate the field using a DAL script, invoked by a PreTransDAL line in my AFGJOB file. That works fine but, the DAL script being invoked for every transaction, it adds to the processing time.
I do not need an exact date/time stamp for each transaction in the batch, I could use the same one for all the transactions. That would require the TIME_STAMP global variable to be populated once, at the job level, at the beginning of each batch.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

    Hi Gaetan,
Try using a BatchBannerBeginScript to populate a GVM with the date/time, and then reference this GVM in your APPIDX.DFD. In this manner the value will be updated at the start of processing for each batch rather than each transaction. Or, consider the possibility of adding the transaction date/time into the extract data and then sourcing from that point. Either should work. In my experience most customers prefer that the archive date/time come from the system of record rather than the time the transaction was archived -- unless of course the customer actually wants to record the time the transaction was archived, in which case the method I've described above should work.
    Enjoy!

  • How to set minimum and maximum X scale in the XY graph if i have a X scale time format ?

    Hi,
i choose in the picture enclosed, a time format for the X scale of the XY Graph.
The problem is that i am not able to set the minimum and maximum of the X scale: In fact the property nodes of the minimum and maxinum X scales ask for  double as input.
But i need to set my minimum and maximum X scale to be a time (because I already set the X scale format to a time)
Could u help me please ?

    please i have another problem:
i put the XY Graph in a while loop with maximum and minimum Xscale as property nodes inputs.
The problem is that when i make a zoom  i can just see the zoom for a little while and then (because of the while loop) the Xscale is updated.
is there a method so that the Xscale be updated just when i change its value ?
or Could u tell me how could i zoom properly ?

  • Erasing Time Machine hard drive after formatting for both PPC and Intel

Ok, I made a mistake. First I formatted a Western Digital 500 gig hard drive for both my wife's PPC G4 laptop and my own Intel MBP laptop, so we could both use Leopard's Time Machine for backing up to the same drive. That wasn't my mistake though, it's been working fine. I formatted my partition using the GUID option and hers using the Apple Partition Map option (I think that's what they are called, I'm going from memory).
Here's my mistake: I needed some extra space to store some files and read that I could Re-Partition the drive without erasing anything using Disk Utility. Sounded great. I first tried to partition my wife's partition, since she had more extra space, but then I realized that was a bad idea since I had formatted her partition with using the Apple Partition Map, so I stopped and then tried to Re-Partition my side. It worked for about an hour: my Time Machine backup drive appeared, my new partition appeared, but then... her partition disappeared! Usually whenever one of us plugs in the hard drive using the firewire cable, both partitions appear, Time Machine Goes to work, and that's that. When we need to disconnect from the drive we have to eject both drives, but no big deal. Now her drive isn't appearing.
So... I tried to repair it, no good. Tried to erase both her partition and mine (to just start over): no good. I can't do anything to either of these partitions now, from either computer. Tried everything I could think of in Disk Utility, from both computers. Won't erase, won't re-partition. Not a hardware issue: it all started when I did this stupid Re-Partition. Help!!!!
I want to erase the drive and start over. Can anyone advise??

    Jasonmo,
First, let's talk about the various partition schemes. A partition scheme applies to the entire drive. Specifically, these are different maps written to the drive, within which volumes are created. As such, this is an either/or thing; your drive is partitioned using either the GUID Scheme, or the Apple Scheme, not both.
"Live" partitioning or re-sizing of existing volumes is supported only under the GUID Partition Scheme. If the drive wasn't using this scheme, you would not be able to re-size as you were attempting to do. Even re-sizing under the GUID scheme requires that the drive's maps and directory structures be in very good shape, if it is to work without hitch.
Are you absolutely certain that there isn't some physical problem with the drive, or with its interface (cables and such)? If it is operating normally, you should be able to re-partition it without problems. In DIsk Utility, select the drive (not a named volume that will appear indented underneath), then click the "Partition" tab. If you wish to be able to re-size volumes later, you must choose the GUID scheme from the "Options..." dialogue sheet. Set appropriate sizes for the volumes, then click "Apply." Doing so will destroy all current volumes and data on the drive.
