Cursor won't refresh when reusing cachedrowset

I want to create a page where user will be able to repeatly enter a key and browse through the data found. I found the cachedrowset package and it worked well when inquiring the first key. However, when I entered a second key, the cursor seemed to start at where the last one finished off. Here is the pseudo code:

You should be able to enter the BIOS using either F2 or Esc during early boot. See Toshiba Document 98081013.
The latest BIOS upgrade is here. If necessary to use it, burn the boot CD (see instructions attached).

I always thought a refresh also re-loads the applet?
Start() and stop() only matter if a browser window
goes out of focus.Out of focus? I don't think so.
To the javadoc we go:
The stop() method:
Called by the browser or applet viewer to inform this applet that it should stop its execution. It is called when the Web page that contains this applet has been replaced by another page, and also just before the applet is to be destroyed.
So it seems navigation to another page makes stop() get called, and likewise navigation back to the page containing the applet would call start(). I don't know if destroy() and init() are also called in that scenario -- the verbiage seems to indicate that there is another scenario which also makes stop and destroy get called.
Hey, again -- not an Applet person. I would test it if I felt so inclined, but that's why my first suggestion was to the OP to do that. His current code showed no start/stop methods, and I suggested he try them out to see what happens.

Podcasts won't refresh when subscribed but will when unsubscribed?!?

Win 7 Pro 64 bit / iTunes 11.3.1 (the latest) / all other hardware well ahead of spec
In the past, I'd had an odd phenomenon when refreshing podcasts - old episodes would appear long after they'd been downloaded, played in their entirety, etc. Only 1-2 of them, easily deleted. A pain, but a minor one.
Now we have a showstopper - podcasts that are subscribed won't update. The update icon appears etc.
Then I unsubscribe. Suddenly the podcast in question (e.g. the episode for the most recent day) appears with the cloud download icon as usual. I can download it with no problem.
Now the insult-to-injury part: re-subscribing to the podcast makes the file disappear from my library!
It's the understatement of the year to say this is contradictory, Bizarro-world behavior. Devising a desperate, random workaround is all very well but hardly a desirable, permanent fix.
I have uninstalled. I have manually cleaned. I have reinstalled. I have burned incense but so far have stopped short of worshiping graven images.
This is the part where I take a bitter swipe at Apple but even the most phlegmatic user must wonder aloud how such chaos is possible especially given the enormous user base.

Finder content won't refresh when it's open

So in Lion, when I open up a Finder window, say my home folder, and a terminal which is at the same path, if I type in, say 'touch hello', a new file named hello will be created and displayed immediately in the finder window.
However, in mountain lion, the file won't be displayed immediately, actually I have to close the window then open up a new one, then I can see the newly created file. This situation also applies to 'mv', 'mkdir' and any operation related file changes.
So is there any ways I can make Finder refresh automatically like it did in Lion?

I updated to 6.1.2 today and immediately got the same problem. No problem beforehand but cant send imessages or use facetime on my ipad mini now. Equally frustrated after trying and searching for solutions and not being able to rectify things.
Have no issue with web browsing or anything else needs a wifi connection just these two apple apps.

The cursor won't focus when I open a new tab

I've read through multiple threads on this in attempt to not waste people's time with a silly question. After trying the myriad of ideas, the problem persists. When I open a new tab whether with about:newtab or about:blank, the cursor does not focus anywhere. It doesn't matter if I use cntrl t or the "+". I'd like to get it to focus in the address bar by the end of things.
Here is what I've tried:
I've changed the the about:newtab to about:blank. This didn't work.
I disabled all extensions - which is to say the Classic Theme Add-On which is the only one I have. That didn't work.
I started in Safe Mode, that didn't work.
I've reset Firefox. That didn't work.
I've reinstalled Firefox, that didn't work.
I'm concerned that I'll have to get lucky like https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/972359 and wake up to the problem resolving itself. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

On the first window, it works fine. On a new tab, it stops?

I think figured out what is going on here... If you have set your Windows OS time manually, Apple iTunes will not honor the time you set in Windows XP...
In my case, I had not applied the Windows update that changes the Daylight savings rules. No big deal I thought... I can easily correct the time manually. Well... iTunes will not like it if you do that. You have to have your daylight savings rules set correctly on the PC. Microsoft has a free program called TZEdit that will let you adjust the DST boundaries.
Once I set the rules correctly and then set my time keeping back to "Automatic" it fixed it. Hope this helps...

Cursor in arrange window won't move when track is playing

Hi,
Can anyone help with this problem I'm having with Logic? I've been away from making tracks for a few weeks and now that I'm trying to use logic again I'm finding that cursor is not moving when I play a track, both in a new session and in old sessions. I am able to move the cursor by double clicking on the bottom part of the ruler but it doesn't scroll as it should during play. Is this a bug and do I need to reinstall logic or did I inadvertently set something to the wrong setting?

The function you probably want is called Catch. Check out:
Logic Pro > Preferences > Global
There's a tab there (called Catch) that allows you to turn Catch off and on - check out the manual for detailed comments on the three options available.
Also, on the Arrange Window there's a button in the top left corner - looks like a person walking. If that's grey, the Catch function is turned off. If blue, the Catch function will operate.

IOS 7 Calendar stuck on September. View won't refresh.

Calendar on iOS 7 is stuck on september. On monthly view, it won't refresh the view past September. I can scroll down, but it will get stuck on Ocotber, with an empty view. If I click year view, it freezes. I've tried restarting the app, the phone and nothing. I will try restoring the iPhone to see if that helps.
But if any of you had a similar experience, and solved it, let me know.

When you restarted the app did you quit it first?
I would first quit the app then reset the phone.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Video/Movie won't play when exported as a PDF.

I am creating an interactive PDF using CS5 to display video work. Unfortunately, the video won't play when exported as an interactive PDF, I am just left with blank space. I find this very odd as it plays in preview and also when exported as a SWF but that file type is unsuitable for the project.
Initially when I exported it I got this message: "One or more of the interactive elements are clipped in ways the pdf files can't reproduce...." Obviously, I have ensured the file is resized correctly and also tried .mov, .mp4 and also .flv file types with no success. I have also checked the simple things like ensuring all the right boxes are ticked when I export.
This is not the first time I have embedded video but it is the first time without success despite following the same pattern. Any ideas as to why this would be and how to fix it?

Use Flv or f4v format, after you have placed video into your layout, make sure that you don´t scale or crop video frame at all.
(Whren you File > Place a video, you will have a loaded cursor with video icon. Click the empty spot on page with loaded cursor, don´t draw a rectangle or click on the top of some exisiting frame)
It´s important that you have your video in 100% encoded size in your layout. If you need to scale or crop it, load that video into Adobe Media Encoder and do it there, and re-encode the video to the correct size and shape aftrwards.
Adobe Media Encoder ships with InDesign.

The cursor won't work in Firefox quite often without my restarting the program

When I am on Firefox quite often the cursor won't highlight anything or allow me to enter any text. I have to quit the program and restart it. Any suggestions?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

CS5 - Image won't refresh

In the past, I haven't had this problem, but recently, when I'm working on an image, the screen won't refresh unless I move an element. It seems to work for a while if I close CS5 and wait for a while, which is a little odd.
I'm running CS5 12.0 for 32-bit systems. I have a GTX 660 with 2GB Ram. I've tried disabling OpenGL and updating my video card drivers.

Working now. Not sure if it's just because I haven't used it for a while, or if updating to 12.0.4 fixed it.
As a Best Buy employee, I feel really silly that I didn't actually do all the updates. I am the worst at technology.

Two of my podcasts won't refresh.

They had been working fine for months, but now for some reason two of mine won't refresh even when I pull down the refresh screen. Its very frustrating. Any tips?

I have found refresh works after I log off of iTunes (Goto iTunes Store, Click your id at the top (maybe right click) and select logoff). Inconvenient, but better than not having it refresh at all.

From your description, the group with none categories won’t fresh when changing flag in Category view. If I misunderstood, please point it out.
As you can in the View tab as below, there is Category as well as Flag: Start date or Due Date. It means that grouping per color categories is more or less different from that
grouping by flag.

8820 Media list won't refresh

I tend to update my media list everyday. I keep audio books on it and a few tunes to get me through the rough patches at work. Last night, when I removed the current audio book chapters and loaded the next 3, something odd happened. The old files were recognized and would not play (as to be expected, they aren't there anymore), but the new files weren't there. I have well over a gig left on the card, I rebooted, I removed the card and rebooted, I turned media card support off, rebooted, and turned it on, checked my settings, and even tried to delete the phantom files via the Media folder on my 8820. The blasted thing just won't refresh its list. I even removed EVERYTHING off of my phone that I had put on it, and it was still seeing old files, but unable to open them. What should I do?

I finally caught up with you from the other forum
When you say you have rebooted was that powereing off or
Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min.
If you havn't tried the battery pull, I would start there.

Tableview getting refreshed when changing data in the rows

Hi Gurus,
Iu2019m doing a BSP with MVC. The requirement is as below.
In the main page there is a button u2018Create Orderu2019, to create a sales order, once I click this button, another screen (pop up) comes up and within that I have a Tableview display with the below fields with the data of 20 records.
Material no
Quantity
Delivery Date
Here user is allowed to choose the quantity and delivery date by selecting each row.(with MULTISELECT option in BSP)
The issue is after I select first row and change the quantity and date, and if I click on second row, the Tableview gets refreshed to enable the second row to be editable and the changes what I did on the first row are also refreshed.
So i want the Tableview not to be refreshed when selecting the multiple rows. So that I can keep the changes I make to the quantity and date fields Can you please suggest any method.

You need to capture the value entered by user in Quantity and date field and update the internal table with these values for the current selected row.
For ex.
The tableView code is like:

Now the internal table lt_fields contains all the editable cell values , just update the internal table of your tableview with these values.
