Page URL and Popup issue

Hi,
I have a page A with a button, clicking on which will forward (forwardImmediate) to Page B. Even in page B there is a button which will take you back (again forwardImmediate) to page A. When I click the button in Page A, it takes me to Page B without any issues but the page URI still points to that of Page A!! Similarly when I click the button in Page B it forwards to Page A, but the URL shown in the page is that of page B (note that I am not sharing the AM between pages, both are having different AMs). Can somebody let me know is this is the expected behaviour when pageContext.forwardImmediate is used? How this can be solved (to show the correct URL)?
Issue with the above is -
In Page A I have one more button which opens a Java Modal Popup window (using openWindow javascript) where user can create some records and clicking on Close in the popup should get closed and refresh the base page (not full page refresh, only a particular VO is refreshed to ensure that newly created record is reflected in base page). This is absolutely working fine when Page A is opened and popup button is clicked. But when I navigate to Page B (by clicking the button), then comeback to Page A from Page B(again using the button available in Page B), then open the popup and click on Close in the popup, it throws the error "Opener is Null or Not an object" OR "Object required" error (I am using JavaScript "window.opener.submitForm('DefaultFormName') and window.close" in the popup for close button event). Can anybody help me with this? Since this is happening only in the particular scenario (page navigation), I assume that the issue should be with URL or something. Please help.

Please use pageContext.sendRedirect() to show the appropriate URLs. Please go through the servlet/JSP topic understand the difference between sendRedirect and forwardURL. But, I doubt if the above would resolve the issue as it seems to be some JS specific error. Please check with the JS code.

I have a problem with the page URL and page name in our Enterprise Wiki. Parent and subsite locales are Turkish. My problem is, when I add a page in Enterprise Wiki and give it an English URL, the page Header is written in English and when I give a Turkish
URL, the page header is written in Turkish. What I want to have (and I think the right way) is to have the URL in English and the page header in Turkish.
To clarify my question, I will create a page with a Turkish name and URL. I will name it "Türkçe Tanıtım" (which stands for Turkish Demonstration), using Turkish characters. Then the URL becomes:
http://mysite.com/Pages/T%C3%BCrk%C3%A7e%20Tan%C4%B1t%C4%B1m.aspx
And the page header is "Türkçe Tanıtım", which is normal, as expected:
If I change the page URL to look correctly, using English characters only, it looks like "TurkceTanitim." The URL becomes "tidy" (http://mysite.com/Pages/TurkceTanitim.aspx) but the page header also becomes "TurkceTanitim",
which is not correct in Turkish:
What I would like to have, and what I think it should, is to have a URL completely in English (http://mysite.com/Pages/TurkceTanitim.aspx) but have the page header in Turkish (Türkçe Tanıtım). I am sure this could be done in SharePoint, I/we are missing
something but I don't know what.
Can you give me a hand on this?

Hi Tolga,
I understand you would like to change Wiki page title but not page name in url.
The title of the Wiki pages is always linked to the actual file name of that certain page. To get the use out of title property we have to manipulate the page template for the Wiki pages.
Please refer to the article below and edit "/_catalogs/masterpage/EnterpriseWiki.aspx" in SharePoint Designer:

Ibook page mark and highlight issues

I had iPad for about 5 months. I had no problem until recently with the page mark and highlight in ibook. I can't seem to mark the pages(no respond) Sometimes it marks the previous page and when I highlight the sentence, it highlights it and also
highlights couple of streaks all the way bottom of pages on different pages.
Can anyone help resolve this problems? Thank you.

If you've re-installed IBA, you've probably done all you can. If there is an Apple Store in your area, you could take the MacBook to their Genius Bar and see whether they can help.
So it seems like a screen size issue, but why wouldnt they fix that.
Possibly, you are just the first one to notice?

Acrobat 9 Form Issues - Font, URL, and Print Issues

Hello folks,
We are developing an Acrobat PDF (I have Pro updated to 9.4.5) with about 30 fields. Some of them contain a default label name, others are blank, and all fields have a unique name. The blank fields on the form are being filled via an automated web services API from Aspose. All info is entered and the PDF is then flattened by the web service.
The document fully populates with all expected data but we are running into three issues:
1) A field that gets populated with a URL by the script properly becomes clickable if the font is set to Helvetica, but when set to Verdana or Arial fails to be recognized by Acrobat.
2) When I create a new form field, and assign a font face/size/color and input a default value, if I go back and try and change the size the default content seems to hold it's original size unless I do a full cut/paste of the value back into the box.
3) We are getting the notorious "An Error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem"
The odd part is we were not getting that error at first - even with data populated. It was only once we started working on getting the fields horizontally and vertically aligned that the error presented itself.
Any thoughts? I have closed and opened Acrobat, tried opening from Acrobat instead of double clicking the PDF but nothing seems to help.

the font association problem is something recent though, since I used acrobat to print mails directly from my gmail account previously...
it's galling but I installed a free pdf printer which does the job, I needed copies of these mails urgently !
as to the update issue, I see no aum.exe, msiexec.exe or setup.exe running... but that's quite above my head... do I look for those exact processes or are they generic names for processes ?
does my question make sense ????

Export Next Page Zoom and Search Issues - blank/white page freezes report

I'm using a vendor product that uses Crystal Reports Viewer for .NET v13.0 on a 64-bit windows 2008 server.
Everthing works fine in the vendor's environment but when I installed it on my servers when I try and Export, click next page, zoom or search I get a plain white overlay over the normal UI and it freezes the report.
Specifically if I click the export icon for a split second I can see the export dialog show up but it's immediately covered up by a white page that is the same size as the export dialog. The rest of the report is shaded gray as normal but it freezes that way. If I click on the gray area then hit ESC it goes back to normal, but I can't export anything.
Same basic behavior when I click Next or try and search for text. A small progress window shows but is white only then, I can't hit ESC and have to close the report out.
With zoom if I click on the zoom drop-down I see the zoom choices for a split-second but it's again covered over by whiteness.
I've searched through this forum quite a bit and can't find any similar issues. I can see all other graphics just fine and this same server was working fine with the 2008 version in the past. Are there any temp directories or special permissions required?

Hi Tony,
If it is an install issue there should be a log folder that may indicate if there was a problem.
They really need to dig into the problem, if they have questions pass them along or if they have support with us they can create a case to help debug the issue.
You may want to search hear also, there have been a few post on this question but not sure what the results are.

I have a list of page URLs and I want to generate their respective page names. Is this possible? I have access to SiteCatalyst 15 and Discover 3.1.
I want to end up with this table:

You want to do this within CQ ? If yes then you can use pagemanager API to get page http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/javadoc/com/day/cq/wcm/api/Page.html#getName() name and JCR API to get path http://www.day.com/maven/javax.jcr/javadocs/jcr-2.0/javax/jcr/Item.html#getPath()
To get absolute URL you can also use externilizer service http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/javadoc/com/day/cq/commons/Externalizer.html#absolut eLink(org.apache.sling.api.SlingHttpServletRequest, java.lang.String, java.lang.String)

HTML-DB 1.6 (Apex) calling an URL and go back to the calling page

Is there somebody who can help us ?
We have a button in your page which call an URL link. This link creates operate a job that will make an XML document. We try to use target....blank to open a new window and after the job is finished to close this new window; but it doesn't work, no new window have been created.
But, we want to go back to the calling page after doing the XML document creating job. We can't go back to our calling page, the application is gone.
How, we can do this?

Firstly, create a new region on your calling page and add in the following as the region's Region Source:

Replace n with the page number for your xml export. Notice that I've added an A tag here - you can style this to look like a button if you like.
I have also set a branch back to the calling page, but this should not be used by the A tag as it doesn't submit the page - I've just included it on my page for completeness.
Secondly, on your page containing the xml export, make the following settings:
In the Page Attributes, set the Page Template to "Popup"
In the Region's Region Definition, set the Template to "No Template"
In the Region's Report Attributes, set the Report Template to "export: XML"
And, here's my working example:

Issues with my Macbook pro, the current page disappears and it goes back to the desktop. I can't figure out what's wrong.

I have been having problems with my Macbook ever since I had it in for service to replace the battery. The issue is when I am surfing the page disappears and goes back to the desk top, and I have to reload it again. This happens quite often while I am online, and is a definite glitch.

How to produce a list of URLs and page numbers from large website pdf file.

Adobe Acrobat Pro version 10.1.4.
I created a pdf file from an entire website which has 1062 pages.
I was asked to produce a list of pages which should be updated or deleted.
There is a URL on every page.
What is the best way to mark the pages for update/deletion?
Is there a way to automatically produce/export a list of a all URLs of these pages including page numbers and "feature" update/delete? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply. I refer to the page numbers visible under the pages when you click on in the icon "Page Thumbnails" on the top left side. The page numbers do not appear on the pages themselves.
When saving the entire website bookmarks were created automatically as as well as the URL put on the left botton side of the respective page. They have always the same syntax like this: http://egr.istat.it/?q=node/285[06/062013 17:54:35]

Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.
You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

Question about "Get Web Drawing URL and Page Name From" for Visio Web Access

I am trying to get both the web drawing URL and the page name from a list through Share Point Designer 2013, but it doesn´t work.
It looks fine when a do the web part connection wizard. I select from which columns to get the URL and the page name. But on the final web part page nothing happens. It just shows the URL that is selected in the Visio Web Access Web part. I had hoped that
that value should be overrided by the SPD-settings.
I have googled for hours..

I have now saved the Visio-file in .vdw-format, but it says Visio 2010 Web Drawing (*.vdw). Is there a .vdw-format for 2013? Isn´t that the .vsdx-format?
Still doesn´t work with the .vdw-format, but maybe I am doing something wrong.

Well I followed your book! Chapter 6 of the "Oracle Fusion Developer Guide - Working with Bounded Task Flows in ADF Regions". I think this comes back to book writer error. I found almost no mention of BackingBeanScope in this chapter. Don't you think this would be an important note?

I don't really understand why the scope of the bean has anything to do with af:showPopupBehavior or AdfPage.PAGE.findComponent.

When i try and open a tab that is the same as the page im currently on i closes it self. not when i type the full address, but when i use the arrow keys to select the url and press enter

The site sets a no-cache header when sending the main page of the site so we need to re-fetch the page from the server. We don't store scroll position in this case because the page is likely to have changed.

I want to launch a Bo report whith a URL and render it back to the web pages in HTML format? And the report have parameters as well.
Exampel: If a have report in InfoView that i want to se in my web page i just click a link button with my URL. And i get my report.
My version of BO is 5.1.6 at the moment but we are going to upgrade to BO XI soon.
Here is another exampel that works for Reporting Services:

The openDocument API is available in Business Objects XI onwards. I don't think you would be able to do it from 5.1.6.
