Custom code activity - Could not find type in assembly

I've searched through but cannot find an adequate answer.
Im trying to create a code activity for a Sharepoint 2013 workflow.
I have created the code activity, the workflow and add the custom code activity to it.
As soon as i hit "Build" the code activity disappears from Toolbox and i get the "Could not find type ... in assembly ..."
Any idea how to solve this?

For sharepoint 2013 , try to install workflowmanager 1.0 and workflowclient to create workflow, they will work better

Hello,
I have a sequence file created on the TestStand 3.5 version (running on winXP which I don't have at the moment) and I'm trying to use this sequence on my TestStand 4.2 (running on Win7).
The error is (see attached picture) Could not find type 'XML_POPUP' ,unknown or missing type.
I have tried adding a type named XML_POPUP to the MyTypes.ini->Step Types.
Is there a way to load the sequence without a type, I only need to see the steps and extract data for the new sequence I'm building.
I can also view the code of the sequence in NOTEPAD++ , is there a way to extract the data using the this code?

Hi,
I have found an .ini file containing the XML_POPUP step type (as seen in the attached picture).
When I'm trying to load the sequence I receive the same error, that the 'XML_POPUP' type is not found.
After loading the .ini file as seen in the picture, do I need to configure something else for the sequence I'm trying to load to locate this type?

Error as like this-->object field at offset 75 that is incorrectly aligned or overlapped by a non-object field. But here size constant is 3 so I think after 72 offset will be 75..If I change the offset to 76 it will works fine. I think reason is that
size of int is 4. After changing that code will be like this.

MarshalAsAttribute.SizeConst Field
Indicates the number of elements in the fixed-length array or the number of characters (not bytes) in a string to import
Change your code like this should work:

Visual Basic projects have the concept of default namespaces. The default namespace is the name of your project, IIRC, so if your project's name is MyProject, the class name would be "MyProject.CyDec"
So you can other use the 2-part class name, or find the default namespace of your project and clear it. If you use the 2-part class name, you must use brackets to separate the pieces of the EXTERNAL NAME specification. Also, in your case you overrode the
name of the proc by using the Name property of the SqlProcedureAttribute class. So, if the name of your project is MyProject, the EXTERNAL NAME specification would be:
AS EXTERNAL NAME MyAssemblyName.[MyProject.CyDec].Sproc_CyDec

Ok, this may not be your problem, but I was getting this error as well.
I had multiple services running, and I was able to use SOAP test clients and connect to them and get responses, no problem.
I wrote some client code to connect to one, and it worked just fine.
Then I wrote some client code to connect to the other, and I got an error like
faultString: org.xml.sax.SAXException: Deserializing parameter 'initiateIn': could not find deserializer for type {urn:SOAPFulfillmentAPI}DoSomething
...I tore my hair out trying to figure out why a service that functions perfectly using other tests would fail in java. Then I realized I was pointing to the end point URL.
It looks like AJAX tries to deserialize the parameters before it does any of basic sanity check to see the method your looking for even exists (even in debug mode). So instead of getting a useful error like "Cant find method 'DoSomething' " you get some crap about not being able to understand the datatype for an arguement.

When i try to return a string from my get method, it gives me a proper response. i get this exception when im trying to return a JSON response.

Receiving error message 'Could not load file or assembly 'System.ServiceModel.Activation, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.'

I started getting this error message for the first time today. When I look in the event log I see it every time anyone tries to sync to a mobile device to the exchange server. I've also had this problem trying to connect using
Outlook. I believe it is an IIS issue but I'm not absolutely sure so I'm posting this in the Exchange forum as well.

I have tried most, if not all, of the different post's suggestions to no avail.
The steps I have taken are as follows...
1. Repaired .Net 4 (Both the client and extended)
2. Uninstalled and reinstalled .Net Framework 4.0.
3. Verified that the dll exists.
4. Checked the applicationHost.config file. It contains the follow statement...

7. Went to inetpub\history to use an applicationHost.config file from yesterday but it only has history from 9PM tonight. It probably had what I needed before I started changing it tonight.
I still receive the same error message.
Like I said everything was working yesterday. In fact I didn't hear or see any issue until after 1PM today.

Please confirm whether users can access their mailboxes from Outlook Web Access or not. We can do the following changes to have a try:
1. In IIS > Application Pools, change the .NET Framework Version to v2.0 and restart IIS service.
2. If it doesn’t work, explore the Default Web site.
3. Renamed the web.config file to web.config.old
4. Reset IIS using iisreset command to have a try.

11.1.1.4:Could not find the item selected to match the value of type Number

Hi,
I have a taskflow with an input parameter.
The input parameter value is to be assigned to a list item as the default selected value.
I have mapped the pageFlow scope parameter to set value to the list item using input page parameters defined in task flow.
but When i Run the task flow the value does not get assigned to the drop down list and jdevloper console screen shows up the following message
"Could not find the item selected to match the value 2 by type: oracle.jbo.domain.Number in LOV."
But If I click the Lov to check the values it shows that value is present in the list.
The same configurations works if the list of values is for a column with type as java.lang.String.
Is it somethng different that is to be done for a Number field to assign value from a taskflow parameter?

I am assigning the default value in the task flow using input page parameters ...

It does not assign the value, if Bind variable(pTyp_Id1) NDtype and task flow input parameter(pInputTyp) class type, both are set to use type oracle.jbo.domain.Number.
If I change both to use java.lang.String and additionally also change the VO defination the accept the bind variable of type string, it assigns the value correctly.
Usecase:
I have a a task flow for which has its first page a search page.
The Search page is created using operation execute with params and dragging the query parameters on the page.
The Query parameters are to be filled using a select one choice option and the list is bound to the master values.
This task flow can be used inside a standalone page as a region to provide a search page
The same task flow can be called from within another taskflow which will provide the default values for the drop down lists ..
Since the search page is a jsff fragment i dont have a page on load handler to provide default values..
So assiging the values using input page parameters defined in task flow view tag.
For testing I am passing the taskflow input parameters by calling the task flow from a jspx page a region . When I configure this task flow a region in a page its asks for providing the values for the parameters
And the same gets configured in my testpage def as

Could not find the artifact type for property kind

Team Foundation Server 2013 Update4 on Win Server 2008 R2, this message has suddenly started appearing.
Team foundation error: Could not find the artifact type for property kind '77951f77-f29d-4a9b-8311-1b13e4b89c42'. The property kind was not properly defined.
Last update installed was Update 4 on 17 Dec 2014, and at the time of install, everything was working well. I've re-applied update 4 in the hope it would resolve it, but the same error appears when I open the TFS console. Please help!

URGENT: Could not find the custom class

I loaded the AppModule developed with 3.1 under which it is working ok. Now I get the following error from Appmodule tester:

I'm not sure if there's a missunderstanding here.
When yawmark told you to type the command exactly as I had posted it (period included), he did not mean that you should type ".class" after the name of your class, but a period after the "-cp" (separated by a space). So, again:
In your command window, go to the directory where your Javax class is located, and type:
java -cp . Javax(NOTICE THE PERIOD after -cp, that's the important thing). To make sure, you can copy-paste the line above, but make sure you're executing it from the directory where Javax is located.

Hello Merav,
The reason for such generation errors is that a replication object to distribute CNBCCPSAP00070 is existing but the related BDOC is not there. These types of replication objects and BDocs have to be maintained manually by customers.
Please refer to SAP Note 1114576 (Deletion of RO CNBCCPSAP00070) and make the corrections.
Afterwards kindly go to transaction GENSTATUS and mark the two lines and press generation button.
Your issue would be solved.

Infopackage Idocs in status 2 - could not find code page for receiver system

Hi,
We just migrated our production system from BW 7.01 non unicode to BW 7.4 on HANA.
We now encounter issues with idocs while loading data into bw from our ECC5 source. When we analyze idocs in the source system it appears with the message "could not find code page for receiver system"
One weird thing is that the idoc seems to have been created before we started the infopackage in bw.. We controlled system time and AS time and everything seems ok.
We did not encounter this issues on our previous migration test runs..

Thanks for responding. We finally found out what the problem was.
We have two applications servers on our ECC with 2 different OS. One of them could not reach the new BW HANA server.

IDoc Status 02 ( Could not find code page for receiving system )

I am getting Idoc status 02 when I am trying to send IDocs from ECC to PI system ( Production ).
Error description.
Could not find code page for receiving system
Message no. E0266
Diagnosis
For the logical destination PIP001, you want to determine the code page in which the data is sent with RFC. However, this is not currently possible, and the IDoc cannot yet be dispatched.
Procedure for System Administration
Possible causes are:
1. The entry no longer exists in the table of logical destinations.
2. The target system could not be accessed at runtime.
3. The logon language is not installed in the target system.
4. In the destination system, no logon language is maintained

Status 02 occurs when data is not passed to port suceessfully. Check the RFC desination is working fine and your able to connect to target system and also check correct port is assigned.

Have an existing ex2010 sp3 organization.
Could not run ex2013cu1 setup from my newly built 2012 server, getting the error in the subject line. I used the command line to run the AD preparation steps successfully from my 2012 DC/GC, then tried to run setup again from the new 2012 server and

I am facing the following error while processing Idocs.
ERROR: Could not find code page for receiving system
Diagnosis
For the logical destination BWFIN, you want to determine the code page in which the data is sent with RFC. However, this is not currently possible, and the IDoc cannot yet be dispatched.
Can somebody suggest a solution for this. I have verified that the RFC destinations have been created both on the sender and receiver, ports (WE21) have been defined, and partner profiles (WE20) also created. How would I troubleshoot this problem?

I did analyse on this issue.It is all because of the Langauge settings in the SM59.This can be done by the BASIS person.The Language field would be empty, but when ever we send the IDoc from the unicode to a non unicode system we have to mention the Langauage used.
