Custom Column Name in Webpart file and Itemstyle for Content Query WebPart

I was trying to incorporate a custom column in the content Query WebPart.
The name of the column displayed in the list is "Risk Score"; a calculated column.
I right clicked on the field in the list settings and copy hte short cut which is pasted below:

Could you please let me know what can i type in the WebPart file exported and then to be imported in the section:

Also, please let me know what should i enter in the itemstyle.xsl in the section

I read that you can create mobile adapters for the control. But I didnt get how to do it for Content Query Webpart.

Is deactivate "Mobile view" a option for you? if then then CQWP will work in same page. You can deactivate that feature from site feature.

Hello Gana,
Actually while exporting the data using Info Spoke, we have the possibility to modify the data that we send. This is possible using transformations.
In your Info Spoke, you have a tab called Transformations.
Here you need to create an implementation and then use BADi to populate data.
Check if you can write a start routine sort of thing here and insert a new record into the internal table by hardcoding with your field headings.
Let me know if you dont know how to create transformations.

Adding column names to data file

Hi,
I have a question regarding writing to file. Currently in my program, when I start running it, a dialog box pops up and the user gets to pick/ create a file. My data is written on to a file as columns. I want to add column names to the file. Any suggestions on how to do it? Since the file is created by the user at run time and since the column names have to be added just once at the beginning, I'm not sure how to go about doing this. Any suggestions or pointers?

but when am doing this. each time i always have to create a new file each time.

Assign the name of a file and its extension when using DESTYPE=MAIL

Hello,
I've developed a report running Oracle Reports 10g that is being emailed to a user. I would like to specify the name of the file and it's extension that is attached. Are there variables or parameters in Oracle Reports that I can use to accomplish this?
It looks like by default that the file name is using the Name value found in the Property Inspector for the report. I have not been able to find a way to re-assign this value with a value from either the input or select values in the data model.
Will Oracle Reports 10g allow me to define the name of the file and the extension?
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the quick reply and information. I almost thought you had solved my problem until I found out that distribution and bursting do not support delimited and spreadsheet output. One of the two files I need to email has a desformat of SPREADSHEET.
Is there any other way to manipulate the file name and extension when using destype of MAIL?

I created a content query webpart. I added one custom item style in ItemStyle.xsl. This template having some date operations. Some date comparisons. The issue is, template containing some variables but after selecting my template it is not showing the variable

Read from .txt file and output the content as two arrays

I am using the contoured move to control the x-y stage. The trajectory datas for x and y axis are generated using my interpolation program and it is stored in a .txt file as two columns. What I want to do is read .txt file and output the content of this file as two arrays. Is there anyone has any ideas? Thanks, the .txt file is attached.

Hi Awen,
This is quite easy to do, you can merely use the "read from spreadsheet file" function to get a 2D array (2 columns and n rows) and then use the index array function to get whatever row/colums you want..

Custom Display template for Content Search webpart

Hi,
I am trying to customize the out of the box "slideshow" display template for content search webpart which renders Images.
By default, the slideshow display template has a fixed the image size which is very small. Is it possible to increase the dimensions of the container or control template to show a much larger image size?
Can anyone please help on how to do this?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to increase the dimensions of the container or control template to show a much larger image size in the Content Search web part.
I recommend to create a custom Display Template (control and Item display templates) and use JQuery Slider plugin to achieve this goal.

Accessing a file and reading its contents.

Hi all,
I created a Portal Application to access a file and display its contents in an iView .
But it showing the exception like "File Not Found".
In simple java application i could able to get the result. In portal application i couldn't .
I have given the full path of the file location.
I need a help regarding this?

IS the file on the portal server? It must be visible to the service user that runs the Java engine...

I managed to change my text into uppercase, but how do I store the uppercase content into another file.
