Custom Stationary Disappearing / INOP

I upgrade a new iMac and MacBook Pro to Leopard and found a nice glitch in mail. Apparently, when I create stationary from an existing message and then attempt to use it later the following happens: You Scroll down to Custom in the Stationary menu and find your item which happens to be completely white. When you click on it nothing happens regardless of how long you wait. Quiting and reopening Mail does not help. Running Disk Utilities does nothing either. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem and maybe have a workaround solution???
By the way, the same problem is occurring on both computers.

Finally i can solve the custom stationary issue, i begin with my custom stationary in mail, then save as stationary, and later when i selected nothing happen, so what i did was find my custom stationary in /user/library/application support/mail....,until you find your custom stationary file, then right click show package content, and open the content.html, mine open in safari some fonts don't work, but i fixed it, then, mail the content of the page in safari, The page open in mail as a new message and there choose again save as stationary, when you do it the older custom stationary will work fine as the new one.
The problem again in yahoo and hotmail, the text appear but the images don't

How to add attachments to Custom Stationary, having problems.

I created some custom stationary by saving a page created in iWeb ,published, then choose the option -- save as stationary. All is well, I can select my custom staionary and enter text and send a message fine, but.... when I try to add an attachment none of my text stays and some of my stationary just disappears (images et al) my attachment is there and can be mailed ok.
I just cut and paste html and don't really understand coding but i think it may be the way my page is saved. Or... can attachments not be sent in stationary without messing up the file?

Please take a look at my reply there on Mar. 29, 2007. I am not sure but i assume that you are using Web Dynpro for Java. Attachment capability is available with NW04s SP10 (both runtime and NWDS). Although, SP09 contains the required web dynpro runtime changes but the API has only been made part of SP10. Follow the note numbers provided therein.

In Firefox v4.0.1, custom toolbars disappear from the toolbar menu when I open a "New Window".

1.
I created a new toolbar in Customize... / Add New Toolbar. It's on the list of toolbars and opens up '''most times''' I start Firefox, but not ''always''. I have tested it and it is completely random.
2.
Same type of problem as 1., but '''''everytime''''' I use the 'New Window' feature the custom toolbar disappears from the toolbar menu and if I need to use it, I have to '''save all tabs as bookmark''' then close and reopen FireFox so I get my original window [where the toolbar shows up]. AARRRGHH.
I've been using FF for 7 years now, so I know enough to rule out corrupted localstore.rdf, new or updated add-ons (I could be wrong though, as I often am...).
Has this come up with other users? Am I being cursed? [lol] any help would be appreciated.

Why do my Print Management Custom Filters Disappear on Logoff?

Hello all,
I have created custom filters in the Print Management mmc for Windows Server 2008 R2. My problem is that when I log off the server, my custom filters disappear. Steps I have taken to diagnose issue:
1. Run Print Management as Administrator
2. Log in with Domain Admin account.
3. Attempt to create filters with multiple accounts.
Can anyone tell me why my custom filters do not save?

It does for me but I do not lose any filters using the default printmanagement.msc file either.    The customizations should be auto saved per user when exiting the application not just log off. If you can create filters and then close
printmanagement.msc and they are there when you reopen printmanagement.msc without logging off, then I would think that you have something clearing out where the data is stored when you log off.   It's not a printmanagement issue at that point.
I like creating the shared msc file so I can copy to others or just launch from any machine and have the same view when I am determining what is happening on a specific print server.   You will need to manually Save any changes when exiting
the mmc snapin.
One drawback with having multiple machines running WITH email notications is that you can get notifications from all the machines running the snapin. Just to be forewarned the first time you get multiple emails.

Custom Icons Disappear in Cover Flow Above Certain Size

I've been trying to create custom icons for certain folders and I've been having no luck when viewing them in cover flow.
I've downloaded a PNG file, 512x512 pixels. Open it in Preview, copy to the clipboard, do a 'get info' on the folder I wish to change the icon of, click the little icon, hit paste, and it appears correctly in the preview and in the finder Icons view, as well as on my desktop or whatever. However, if I turn on cover flow and drag the size of cover flow to larger than a certain point, the custom image disappears and all I get is a blank spot. It's as if the 256 pixel icon is being created but the 512 pixel image is being left blank.
I do not know if this happened in 10.5.1, as I hadn't tried until after installing the 10.5.2 combo update.
In the following picture, you can see 1: bottom right, a preview of the png file itself as it appears, correctly, in cover flow, 2: top right, the icon working correctly on the desktop and in the get info window, and 3: left: the cover flow view of the computer showing a bit gaping void where the custom icon should reside.

This does NOT happen if I use an existing, working icon (say, put the Applications folder's icon onto my hard drive.) It seems to be an issue with custom icons only, not just changing the icon for something.

Images don't display in custom stationary

I'm trying to create a custom stationary template in Mail, but the images do not appear, only a missing picture icon.

Customer fields disappear in SC Item details

Hi All,
I am facing a weird issue. I have added Custom fields on SC basic data. In web page I see that when I go into details of SC item and expand jus Basic data I can see the custom fields whereas if I expand anyother tabs such as account assignment my custom fields disappears.
I checked the implemented CUF_BADI_2 and it is working fine. I tried to see the same screen in SAP GUI and my customer fields appear overthere also.
I observed one thing in web page source code.... In source code where custom fields appear I see that template SAPLBBP_PDH_CUF 100 is called whereas incase where fields disappear SAPLBBP_PDH_CUF 9999 is called... I am not getting why is this happenning....
Could you please help me out in tracing the issue.

This is standard behaviour.
As far as I understood, you have added Custom fields in the Item structure of Shopping cart... It will not appear in any other structure, such as Account assignment, Ship-2-address section, Sources of supply tab, etc.. This seems to be correct.
Which SRM version are you using ?
Please refer SAP OSSNotes 672960 and 458591 for Customer fields related more details.

My custom snippets disappear after updates

This has been an issue with several versions of DW. When I enter my own snippets, they will be there again when I open DW a few times, and then later, they just randomly disappear. This always happens when I upgrade to a new version of DW. Maybe I installed an update and that wiped them out this last time, but I am not entirely certain that updates are always the cause of the missing snippets. Is there any way to back up these snippets or can Adobe prevent this behavior in the future?

Each DW version installs as a stand-alone application. Your custom snippets are saved under your user name in a folder called snippets within the Configuration folder (on Windows 7 this is here for me - C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5\en_US\Configuration). You can copy and save that folder, and then after installing the new version place it in that same location except with the new version of DW (i.e., Dreamweaver CS6).
On a Mac, this location is <user>::Library::Application Support::Adobe::Dreamweaver CS5::en_US::Configuration
If you have not uninstalled the older version, you can recover your snippets from that location.

Can't Delete Custom Stationary in Mail

I have created several custom mail stationaries and can add and delete them except for one. I have one that will not delete if you try to delete it it actual deletes the staionary to the right of it.

Not a horrible prol=blem but bery annoying!

In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library.
Then go Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Application Support/Mail/Stationary and see if it is there.

Mail: custom folders disappeared

Hello,
I have around 7 custom folders in Mail. I'm self-employed and sort all my business mail into these folders such as 'to be answered' 'gigs' 'important info' etc.
Today I opened Mail and all my custom folders had disappeared. All the emails in them have disappeared.
What on earth could have inspired this, and how do I fix it??????
I would appreciate help with this issue so much. Needless to say I'm in a total tizzy about it.

Hi Úna,
Hmmm maybe another approach.
If you have a rough idea of how you structured your folders then what you can do it use Finder to have a look deeper inside folder ~/Library/Mail
Your messages are stored within subfolder /Mailboxes and if you have set it up in some sort of hierarchical arrangement then you will see that reflected in the folder structure in Finder. Within each .mbox you will have a file named info.plist and a subfolder named Messages. Within the Messages folder will be each message which are .emlx files and have a numeric prefix. If you double click on an .emlx file it will open up as a Mail message.
Example from my Mac:

If you can find the ones that you are missing in this manner then that's a good start and it is possible to get those messages back into the Mail viewer by rebuilding just that Mailbox within the Mail app. Select the Mailbox under "ON MY MAC" in your Mail sidebar and click menu option Mailbox > Rebuild.

Mac Mail is not letting me select custom stationary.

I created a stationary in Mail & saved it as such. The stationary is saved under the custom area and consist of mostly text and then some basic graphics at the end of the message (my fance e-mail signature w/a picture). When I select a new message and then expand the stationary section, I go to custom and select my saved stationary (in the preview it looks like what I saved) by double clicking but nothing happens - I have also tried clicking and dragging - copy and paste, etc. The text & graphics do not appear in my new e-mail. I have tried deleting and re-creating the stationary as well as restarting Mail & my computer on multiple occasions but nothing seems to work. All of the other pre-installed stationarys seem to work just fine.
What I am trying to do is set up premade letters that I e-mail to people all the time, I am tired of typing the same e-mail over and over again. I have a dozen or so that I want to type up and save and then just select the appropriate one for my client, type in their name and other minor changes to make it 'customized' to them and click send.....
Any suggestions?
I am using a MBP, Intel Core 2 Duo w/MAC OSx 10.7.3 - Mail is V 5.2 (1257)

It is not the png or the jpeg. I am using Mavericks and I did all the steps that LHinson did above and still could not use the stationary I created. And, my message was only text--no images. Does anyone have a solution to this yet? Thanks!

Custom cursor disappears in context menu

I am attempting to use a custom cursor from a PNG file. I set the cursor to an embedded PNG file using CursorManager.setCursor(). However, when a right-click occurs and the context menu appears, the cursor disappears. I found this example on the web that demonstrates the issue:

Click on the show cursor button and then right click to show the context menu. This seems to be an issue with PNG files but not SWF files. Both examples in this Flex Quickstart article do not have this problem:

Unfortunately you won't find a solution to this I suspect. In the DevNet example you are seeing the browser menu. In the Flex app you are seeing the Flash Player cursor. I don't think there is a way around this.

Changes made in a Custom Program disappears after save.

Have you compiled and activate the program.
Maybe you're working with a different version. Look at version management.

Custom Text disappears on exit when using Dynamic Forms

If you have a dropdown list and you tick the box to "Allow Custom Text Entry" in a Dynamic form format, it will not hold the custom value when you leave that field.
If you save the Dynamic form as a Static Form the custom entries work fine.
I need help ASAP with this as it is very annoying.

Obviously I'm doing something wrong. How do you make it recognize the addEnteredValue function? -- When I added "gDropDownTemp;" to the File-->Form Properties-->Variables tab it said that it MUST have a value so I put 0, it wouldn't allow me to not enter a value even though instructions say otherwise. I'm new to this and I know what I want but getting to that point is another story it seems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Soft Proofing: View Proof Setup Custom: Profile Disappears when Re-opened

Photoshop CS6 on Mac
Edit an image file and get it to where I like on the monitor
Duplicate the file and set the new file to the profile for the printer which will be used, by using View > Proof Setup > Custom and setting an imported printer profile for the printing company that I use.
As soon as you do that, the file looks like crap, so...
Edit the soft proof file to get it to where it looks good again.
Save off the file for the printer and also save the new PSD file.
Close the PSD file.
Reopen the new (soft proofed) PSD file.
Still looks good, but.... when you check View > Proof Setup it's now generally set to Custom: U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 instead of to the imported printer profile which was set previously. WHY???? Where did the printer profile go? Is it supposed to do this?
If I then reset View > Proof Setup to the correct printer profile, the image goes to crap again.
Is this me doing something wrong, or is the PSD file not properly remembering the printer profile, or... what's going on here?

None of what you write makes any sense whatsoever to me, sorry.
Let's start by using correct terminology. For the last time, you are not "importing" any freaking profile. Wrap your head around that once and for all, please.
Let me try once again, totally disregarding the scenarios you were unsuccessfully attempting to describe above. Forget all that mumbo jumbo for now, please.
You have not mentioned what your working space is, so let's assume it's Adobe RGB.
You have finished editing an image, so now you have an AdobeRGB-tagged image. Fine.
Now you want to soft proof it to see what it will look like in that FujiWonderPrinterInAlaskaUsingMatteThaiElephantPoopPaper printer in Anchorage. (Made up names of course.)
So you make a duplicate COPY of your finished image file named BabyPictForPrint.psd. You're still in Adobe RGB, of course. You put the original away in a safe and forget about it—forever. That's like your negative in film days.
Now you soft proof the BabyPictForPrint.psd COPY by using the infamous FujiWonderPrinterInAlaskaUsingMatteThaiElephantPoopPaper.icc profile the outfit in Alaska sent you.
When you soft proof it with that Alaska profile, you have not imported anything. Photoshop is simply using the profile you pointed it to to show you in your monitor what it would look like. Your pixels so far are untouched, yet yo see your image "die" before your very eyes. Ouch! Now you need to compensate for the effect of printing under those proposed conditions, so you set about the task of editing the copy accordingly. Remember, you're still in Adobe RGB.
Once you have the copy just the way you like it, YOU SAVE ALL YOUR CHANGES in that copy. Now you have a fully edited image file in the Adobe RGB space but tweaked to look fine when printed in the FujiWonderPrinterInAlaskaUsingMatteThaiElephantPoopPaper printer.
At that point you are done! Finished!
Now you are faced with two choices:
A) Sending the finished, saved ADOBE RGB COPY to your printer if you consider him capable of knowing what he's doing. (If you think he does not know his business, look for another printer). Or…
B) Assume you're dealing with a moron on the other end who wants the image CONVERTED to his custom FujiWonderPrinterInAlaskaUsingMatteThaiElephantPoopPaper.icc. If that is the case, then open your COPY in Photoshop, go to the Edit menu > CONVERT to Profile… and convert the copy to the infamous FujiWonderPrinterInAlaskaUsingMatteThaiElephantPoopPaper.icc profile. It's critical to use CONVERT TO Profile, not "Assign Profile"!
At that point, under scenario B), you do not EVER want to return to Proof View / Soft Proof mode, ever, EVER again, because then you would be applying the profile doubly and you'd see your image die before your eyes once again, and if you edited it you'd have real elephant poop!
