Custom table not in LOV

Custom table not selectable (not in LOV) in interface information table selection Desktop Integrator. Created a custom table for assignment of upload in setting up custom desktop integrator and i can not select it as it does not appear under owner BNE. I select Web Applications Desktop Integrator while in the responsibility Desktop Integration Manager>>>Create Integrator and follow the steps until I get to the Interface Information page and try to select the table name. Table name does not exist under BNE% search. I must be missing a step in the set-up of the table.
Doers it need to somehow be pointed to the application?
Please someone help!
The following is what my DBA did to set me up with this new table and this is all he did. IS there more steps in order to get it to work?

Hi Tim,
3 things:
1) this is the query which should be executed at run time:
SELECT TAB.TABLE_NAME AS TABLE_NAME
, TAB.USER_TABLE_NAME AS USER_TABLE_NAME, TAB.DESCRIPTION AS DESCRIPTION,
APP.APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME AS APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME, APP.APPLICATION_ID AS APPLICATION_ID,
APP.APPLICATION_NAME AS APPLICATION_NAME
FROM FND_TABLES TAB, FND_APPLICATION_VL APP
WHERE TAB.APPLICATION_ID = APP.APPLICATION_ID WHERE (APPLICATION_ID = :1)
check if it it returns any rows
2) you should not create custom tables in BNE schema
3) ad_dd requires a commit. check if it changes after a commit statement.

  • Custom table Not deleting the line items on the order.

    Hi All
    I have an issue, In SAP  we have created a custom table which is related to ship to party, as and when we delete any line items in the order(VBAP)  it should update /delete the custom table but it is not deleting, while when we create any line items in the order (VBAP) it is updating  the entries in the custom table which is suppose to happen.
    Please let me know your inputs.
    Thanks,
    Ram

    UPDKZ is not a field name. it is the processing status of a line or order.
    If UPDKZ is I , its initial, like adding a new line
    If UPDKZ is U, its update. Like changing or modifying an existing line
    ....so on...

  • Customizing tables not asking for Customizing Request while saving data

    Hi,
    I have some customizing tables in my development server (Delivery Class = 'C').
    These always used to ask for a Customizing Request whenever data was saved in them.
    Suddenly, I have noticed they are no more asking for any Customizing Request. I cross-checked in the Transport Organizer and confirmed that there are no customizing requests of mine which may be already holding any data entries of these tables.
    I wonder why this may be happening (believe it to be some basis configuration issue. also asked my basis guy but he has no clue).
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks,
    Z

    Thanks Navneet and Gautham.
    My problem is now solved. Let me summarize the problem and the solution now.
    -> The customization tables suddenly stopped asking for a request while saving data.
        Somehow the settings had been reset, and as Gautham pointed out, it was corrected in the tcode SCC4
    -> Most of the tables now worked fine, but still few of them didnt ask for requests
        Here, I found out that the developers had chosen "no, or user, recording routine" instead of  "standard recording routine". For such tables, when i check in the tcode SE54, menu path Environment -> Maintenance Objects -> Change, I find the Transport category 'No Transport'. Regenerating the maintenance generator choosing "standard recording routine" fixes this and the tables now ask for a customizing request.
    Thanks, both, for the quick response.

  • Custom table - delivery class?

    I need to create a z-table to list the email-ids that I want to notify to, in case of program errors. Should I make the delivery class of this table 'C'? And is best practise to make the data transportable? Or should my users just enter data in each system.
    I am kind of confused...Could any of you please clear me on this concept of Deliver class please. Your help is very much appreciated.
    thanks!

    Vishnu,
    Did you try? I tried these things long back and documented the behavior
    May be you tried it very long back, indeed. Atleast for releases > ECC6.0 EhP3 client-independent customizing tables prompt for WB requests.
    ... C, G, and E will only trigger customizing requests ....
    Unfortunately you're wrong! Did you check the transaction FILE? All the tables involved are of Delv. Class 'G'; but still when you try to save a logical file it asks for a WB request, ever wondered why?
    Still not convinced, check [this|https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/kBwoENEIkUTsGuJUTn9Q5tMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink]!
    Suhas Saha wrote. "Customizing TRs are raised for client-dependent tables & workbench for client-independent ones!"
    This was w.r.t customizing tables & not application tables, as you were talking about customizing tables in your previous response.
    I can create a table with MANDT assign delivery class A or S and can trigger workbench requests on it.
    I know it does. IMHO type 'A' tables are for storing master and/or transational data & it does not make sense to transport these data.  For e.g., BKPF is type 'A' & not transportable, but T001 is type 'C' & transportable.
    If i want to transport the data across my landscape i would make it 'C' & not 'A'.

  • Query for getting all Custom tables

    Hi,
    Is there any sql query present to fetch the name of all the custom tables(Not the tabless inbuilt tables which is given by oracle) present in any module like iExp,iRec or anything.
    Thanks

    Please use appropriate forum for posting your issues. You will get a better response in the forum http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=40
    As per my knowledge, its all matter of how you have managed the custom coding, if there is a fix pattern or naming convention, it will be easy to find the same.

    Is there any sql query present to fetch the name of all the custom tables(Not the tabless inbuilt tables which is given by oracle) present in any module like iExp,iRec or anything.

    It is difficult to differentiate custom tables from the seeded ones if there is no naming conventions followed during their creation. The custom schema or owner name can be used to differentiate them.

    Subhra,
    Your observation is correct. generally if you are working on a custom table or a table without the WHO columns, then you need to use your EO class as abstract.

  • Custom Table Editor: values are not populated to the model

    H,
    I wrote a custom table renderer which uses JComboBox + editor, which seem to work (after editing, the displayed cell reflects the change) but after editing the table manually, the model is not altered when i call table.getModel();
    The editor part is as simple as
      class MPComboBoxEditor extends DefaultCellEditor {
            private final JComboBox box;
            public MPComboBoxEditor(JComboBox b) {
                super(b);
                this.box = b;
        }The renderer:
    public class CellRendererWithMPComboBox extends JLabel implements TableCellRenderer {
        private final Context c;
        private final JTable table;
        private DefaultTableCellRenderer rend = new DefaultTableCellRenderer();
        private JLabel label = new JLabel();
        public CellRendererWithMPComboBox(Context c, JTable table) {
            super();
            this.c = c;
            this.table = table;
         * Set this renderer to the given column
         * @param column
        public void setRendererTo(int column) {
            TableColumn col = table.getColumnModel().getColumn(column);
            col.setCellEditor(new JComboBoxEditor(JComboBox(<some values>)));
            col.setCellRenderer(this);
        @Override
        public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table, Object value,
                boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row, int column) {
            if (hasFocus && isSelected) {
                if (isSelected) {
                    setForeground(table.getSelectionForeground());
                    super.setBackground(table.getSelectionBackground());
                } else {
                    setForeground(table.getForeground());
                    setBackground(table.getBackground());
                 label.setText((value == null) ? "" : value.toString());
                return label;
            } else {
                label.setText((value == null) ? "" : value.toString());
                return label;
        }the model simply extends DeafultTableModel to get formatted numbers.

            } else {
                return o;
        }Do i need to override some setValueAt method in the editor/renderer or something?
    Thanks one more time!
    Regards,
    Andreas

    I don't see any getModel() in your code extract. If the renderer renders it right after edition, then the value is probably correct in the model.
    Also, remember [this thread|http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5396048], where it appeared you were not clear about which model you were looking at.
    Do i need to override some setValueAt method in the editor/renderer or something?No. But have you overridden the model's setValueAt?

  • Not Updating Customized Table when System having Performance Issue

    Hi,
    This is actually the same topic as "Not Updating Customized Table when System having Performance Issue" which is posted last December by Leonard Tan regarding the user exit EXIT_SAPLMBMB_001.
    Recently we changed the program function module z_mm_save_hide_qty to update task. However this causes more data not updated. Hence we put back the old version (without the update task).  But now it is not working as it used to be (e.g. version 1 - 10 records not updated, version 2 with update task - 20 records not updated, back to version 1 - 20 records not updated).
    I tried debugging the program, however whenever I debugged, there is nothing wrong and the data is updated correctly.
    Please advise if anyone has any idea why is this happening. Many thanks.
    Regards,
    Janet

    Hi Janet,
    you are right. This is a basic rule not to do any COMMIT or RFC calls in a user exit.
    Have a look at SAP note 92550. Here they say that exit EXIT_SAPLMBMB_001 is called in the update routine MB_POST_DOCUMENT. And this routine is already called in UPDATE TASK from  FUNCTION 'MB_UPDATE_TASKS' IN UPDATE TASK.
    SAP also tells us not to do any updates on SAP system tables like MBEW, MARD, MSEG.
    Before the exit is called, now they call 'MB_DOCUMENT_BADI' with methods MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE and MB_DOCUMENT_UPDATE. Possibly you have more success implementing the BADI.
    I don't know your situation and goal so this is all I can tell you now.
    Good luck!
    Regards,
    Clemens

  • Custom Table Entry not in Sync between Different Environment

    Hi All,
    we have different environment like Dev System, Quality system, performance testing system etc... these are all environment customs table entry not in syn .. Table entry should be syn. How to make it syn all the entry between all environment without do any manual work. Kindly help on this.
    Thanks

    Hello Mohammed,
    It depends on what type of tables you are referring to. If you have a table of type 'Customizing', you have to transport your table entries across different environments and they will be in Sync.
    If you are referring to tables of type 'Master Data', they have to be maintained in all environments.
    Table of type 'Transaction Data' by default have different records based on your day to day transactions.
    You cannot have all custom tables with same data in all environments. Hope this helps.

    Vijay.

  • Customized table could not maintain in PRD

    Hi all,
    I have created a table ZTABCUST with table maintenance as below.
    Delivery Class : C (Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import)
    Data Browser/Table View Maint. :  X Display/Maintenance Allowed
    Table Maintenance Dialog
    Authorization Group : &NC&  (w/o auth. group)
    Authorization object : S_TABU_DIS
    Function Group : ZGAA004
    Package : ZSD
    Maintenance type : one step
    Maint.Sceen No :  Overview screen : 1
    Dialog Data transport Details
    Recording routine : Standard recording routine
    Compare Flag : Automatically Adjustable
    I have transported this into Production.
    But when i try to update my customized table in PRD using SM30/SM31, the system show message
    "Client 300 has status 'not modifiable' ".
    and I couldnt update my customized table.
    How and what should I do in order to make my customized table to be modifiable in Production?
    I need this to be solved urgently.Points rewarded.

    Please do the following.
    goto"Delivery and maintaince" tab. Then make the Data browser/Table view maint.  as
    X Display/ Maintenance allowed. then activate it . then create the table maintenance generator again..

  • Custom table can be displayed and not maintainable using SE16n.

    Hi Gurus,
    I have created a custom table with DATA BROWSER/TABLE VIEW MAINT. equal to 'N' (Display/Maintainance not allowed) in SAP ECC 6. The the requirment is, this custom table can be displayed using the transaction SE16n.
    This requirement is existing in ECC 5. with same setting DATA BROWSER/TABLE VIEW MAINT. equal to 'N' (Display/Maintainance not allowed) and this table can be viewed using transaction SE16n.
    would there be possible that this requirement be implemented in SAP ECC6? would this be due to the version?
    Please help.
    Thank you..
    Regards,
    SAI

    Hi Kiran,
    Thanks for your answer but unfortunately this is not what I'm looking for. Iam also familiar with &SAP_EDIT.
    Well, my problem is, the custom table setting Data browser/Table view Maint. is set to "N Display / Maintainance not Allowed" ( under Delivery and Maintainance Tab). Also there is no table maintainance generator setup.
    So basically with this setting, in transaction SE11 'Contents' is disabled. And with transaction SE16n, when you execute and tried to view the table, error "You cannot display zcustom_table with standard tool". (checkboxs are hidden)
    What the requirement is looking, the custom table can be viewed (this is with the same setting above but can be viewed using SE16n and the checkbox maintain entries is automatically tick but when executed "auth failed" so, basically to view the entries, untick the checkbox then entries can now be viewed.)
