Custom tax form 1099R overlayed by SAP new tax form with stack changes

We are implementing stack updates and with these were notes with 2008 Tax Reporter changes.  SAP created a new form under HR_F_1099R, new form HR_F_945-08 (sequence #0006).  We had a custom form zhr_F_1099R_cust that was sequence #0006.  Our custom 1099R form was overlayed.  What is the best way to customize a form, but protect it form being overlayed.  Is there a custom sequence number or something I'm missing that will protect the customized form.  We have had this happen with previous stack updates. 
What do I need to do when copying the delivered PDF HR_F_1099R_mult to create a new custom 1099R to ensure that the customized form will not be at a sequence number that will be used by SAP with future form additions and overlay my form?

In the U.S. Tax Reporting Guide - That identifies using a sequence number of 99, then 98....the higher up the lower the probablility that your entry will be overwritten by a subsequent new SAP form.

  • Multiple signature PDF form without saving as a new PDF form

    I know that when you sign a PDF form and hit save it opens up a window wanting to save a new PDF in a new location.  What I would like to do is have a PDF form in one location on a server where everyone can open the PDF form. sign the PDF and then just hit save to keep the PDF as one PDF and not create a new PDF every time someone signs the PDF.  IS this Possible?

    Yes, it is possible. you just need to hit save in the save as window. do not add anything to the file name and it would keep on replacing the old one.

  • Regarding the Cheque printing in SAP Script. Issue with Layout Change.

    I have to modify the layout of a predeveloped script.
    The issue with the existing one is that, the Labels (on the window, that is printed) and the data (corresponding to it) are not on the same line.
    To be more clear, I have like this on the cheque,
    Payee : _______________________
    Amount : ____________________
    The Data corresponding to the Pay & Amount is not in the respective line (as I shown above).
    How can I get that both on the same line.?
    Shall I need to modify the layout or what else to do ?
    Pls. guide me.

    My idea is :
    Can I use any formating options in the corresponding window's text elements..
    Pressing F9 on the windiw (in the Windows list) displays the Text Elements (Goto Edit-> Text Elemets on the Window chosen) in the Windows list.
    Here can we do any formating options, so as to change the layout alignment of window's Text Elements ??

  • How many new tax type and tax code  are created for change in TDS

    we are using SAP since more than  one year.
    now tDS rate is change , so i would like to know How many new tax type  and Tax Code is created in our system
    and also like to know At what percentage  i will crete that  new tax code.

  • Creation of new tax codes

    I  have a requirement for creation of new tax codes. I have created new tax codes in FTXP and assigned G/L accounts in OB40. This part is clear for me.
    Now my questions are as under.
    1.     Where do i restrict the validity date for old tax codes and validity date for new tax codes.
    2     What needs to be updated in terms of condition records
    3     Is there anything needs tobe  update in info records for MM.

    Unless you use jurisdiction codes, and no external tax system, for
    example with tax procedure TAXUSJ, there is no validity dates for the
    condition records.  You can see this differnce by comparing the tables
    A003 without jurisdiction codes and A053 with jurisdiction codes.  A053
    contains the extra fields DATBI (key field) and DATAB.  This is the
    standard functionality.
    Please have a look at the following part of note 418582:
    " Changing past percentage rates has to be inhibited in order to avoid
    database inconsistencies. For this reason, the functions which allow you
    to transport time-dependent tax codes with percentage rates from the
    past are not supported."

  • New condition type, new tax codes

    Hi,
    I have created new condition type for tax procedure TAXIN. I have defined the account key for it. The condition type is basically for exempted input tax transaction. Then I created new tax codes by using the new condition type. The percentage of the tax codes is 0 as it is exempted.
    When I am trying to post invoice by using above taxcodes, it gives me error that the tax code is not defined in taxprocedure TAXIN.
    What could be the reason?

    Did you create the tax code in the development or prouction system?
    If in development you need to export the tax code by going to FTXP and selecting Tax Code -> Transport -> Export. Then when you release the transport you should go to the Production system and select Tax Code -> Transport -> Import.

  • Use of new tax code in PO of Earlier Period

    We have an issue in Purchase order related to tax code. We created a new tax code with the validity period from 01.03.2015. Now the PO's which are of earlier date means document date of PO is earlier than 01.03.2015, validity period of Tax code causing the issue. I know this error coming because of validity period of Tax code. Now my concern is how we can use this tax code for earlier PO's.

    You have maintained the condition records validity as from 01.03.2015 to 31.12.9999, then you should not expect that condition record will be valid for earlier than 01.03.2015.
    If you want to use the calculation for earlier date than 01.03.2015, then of-course either you need to change the validity of the existing condition record or you need to create a new condition record which will be valid for the PO document date.

    we need to describe to our customer the scenario related to migration to new g/l with migration cockpit; new g/l will be implemented this year and the customer will use the old sap till may 2015; then we will need to migrate data from old accounting to new g/l.  I don' t know the tool 'migration cockpit', some of you can describe me which are the steps related to the  migration with 'migration cockpit'?

  • HT1807 I travelled to a different country & using a new sim; with the change in sim, I have been unable to use iMessage & FaceTime. Cant replace replace the earlier no with the current one and it reads error. how to correct this?

    I traveled to a different country and using a new sim/new carrier. With the change in the sim, I have been unable to use the iMessage--outside of WiFi coverage area, and FaceTime at all time. I believe it is due to the phone number registered as an address in the phone, which has not changed with the change of sim; so it countinues to showing as an error while varifying the data.
    Wonder if any of you are in a position to advise as to how to address the following.
    1. I need to input correct phone no, meaning the number I am using in the correct location.
    2. I need to activate FaceTime and be able to use it.
    3. I need to be able to use iMessage and/or ordinary sms while outside of WiFi coverage area.
    It may be mentioned in my current location I don't have GPRS on the cell phone which is the case in my regular station.

  • New tax displayed when plant created in new country (Customer / Material)

    Hi Gurus,
    We create a plant in a new country.
    Impacts are:
    - New tax classification MWST to fullfil in Material master data (Sales org.1 view)
    - New tax classification MWST to fullfil in Customer master data (Sales org. view)
    So, this new tax MWST displays because a new departure country is available in SAP Organizational structure.
    Tax data is a mandatory field on Material Master Data and Customer Master Data. Try to go in MM02 and you need to complete it to save Material or Customer.
    I would like to update in mass tax for Material and Customer.
    I try to use MASS or XD99 or MM17 but it is not working. Tables impacted (MLAN for Material and KNVI for Customer) don't include the new country. I suppose this is a SAP control when we use MM02 or XD02.
    In my mind, it will be very complex to use LSMW (plenty of Customers and Materials, need to manage right Sales area so retreatment before...). Are there tips to fix it? Have you already reach this problem?

       I faced same problem:
          Using MM17 to insert new records it's not what i wanted to do.
    so i follow these steps.
    1-   I used SHDB to save a new recording with MM01.
    2-  Download the recording and edited with Word.
    3-  merge data file with this word and save it as a text file.
    4- upload text file recording to SHDB.
    5- processed it.
    It worked fine and you get a log of operations to control that works fine.

    In tax we can configure taxprocedure two types i.e., taxinn and tainj. If you adopt taxinn procedure if  it is other than VAT condition first you have to create the condition type and then you have to go to FTXP and assign the tax required VAT percentage to the repective % to ded or non ded VAT condion type. In second step you have to assign this tax code to respective company code.
    If you adopt taxinj procedure you have to a create tax code with FTXP T-code by assigning the values to the respective and save conditions.

    I think this is a "sealed column", whatever that is, which is  shown in SPD 2013 as a column of content type "document, folder, MyCustomContentType".
    I know when I set the column order in my custom Content Type settings page, it is correct.
    But, when I load the NewDocSet.aspx page, the column order that I set in the settings page is NOT used for this "sealed column" which is bad.
    Can you help?

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to set the column order of a sealed column in a custom Content Type for the new item form NewDocSet.aspx.
    Per my knowledge, if you have Content Type management enabled for the list or library (if you see a list of content type with the option to add more), the display order of columns is set for each content type.
    Drill down into one of them and you'll see the option under the list of columns for that content type.
    To apply the column order in the NewDocSet.aspx page, you need to:
    Select Site Settings, under Site Collection Administration, click Content type publishing. In the Refresh All Published
    Content Types section, choose Refresh all published content types on next
    update.
    Run two timer jobs(Content Type Hub, Content Type Subscriber) in central admin(Central Administration--> Monitoring--> Review timer jobs).

  • Custom New/Edit Forms not mobile supported

    Hi All - I have created custom New/Edit Form in SPD. When I am trying to browse these in mobile view - It is giving error: The following error is not mobile supported: /lists/<listname>/<customnewform.aspx>
    In PC view it opens the same URL properly with no issues.
    Also,
    In mobile view - When click on New Item opens Default OOTB New/Edit Forms and not the custom forms.
    In PC View - Since I set CustomNew/EditForm as default. Click on New Item opens Custom forms.
    How can I set the default - my custom form for mobile view?
    Please suggest.

    Hi Khushi,
    SharePoint will detect the device you are using to access SharePoint site and determine the view it displays. By default, you are using mobile view in a mobile device.
    On mobile device, please go to site settings > switch to PC views, see if custom list view works.
    If it works, we could disable mobile view by executing command :
    disable-spfeature -identity MobilityRedirect -url

    Hi,Where will be a good place to start learning how to customize the List forms (view/edit/new) in SPD2013 when there is no design view but only code and i'm not familiar with the html/css/xsl syntax?

    Per my knowledge, the original list form is created as ListFormWebPart both in SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013, and there is no List Form Tools in both SharePoint Designer 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2013.
    If we need to apply such as conditional formatting to the list forms, we need to delete the original list form web part and then insert a new list form web part which is created as DataFormWebPart, then the Data View Tools tab will occur in the ribbon menu.
    And it is the case in both SharePoint Designer 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2013.
    For list views, in SharePoint Designer 2010, the List View Tools is available when we click into the code inside <WebPartPages:XsltListViewWebPart> tag in order to edit the view for lists.
    However, the List View Tools will not be available when we click into the code inside <WebPartPages:XsltListViewWebPart> tag in SharePoint Designer 2013.
    To access the List View Tools tab in SharePoint Designer 2013, we need to delete all the code inside <WebPartPages:XsltListViewWebPart> tag and then insert a new Date View web part.
    After that, the List View Tools tab will be available when we click into the code inside <WebPartPages:XsltListViewWebPart> tag in SharePoint Designer 2013.
    As Conditional Formatting is not available in SharePoint Designer 2013, you can use code and JS links to achieve what you want.
