Custom Title Tags for html LR Web Gallery

I love LR html web galleries. They are great for me. I have one thing I have been trying to do for a little bit now with no success.
I want to have page titles for LR html Web Galleries reflective of the titles I give individual pictures in LR not the same generic web page title for the whole gallery. I'm not afraid to get in the code a start tweaking it, I am just completely lost in how to accomplish this. If a gallery has 50 pictures it would be too time consuming to go into each page and change the page title by hand.
The purpose would be for search engines to pick up each page with it's own specific title for each photo. What specifically would enable LR to build my galleries with individual titles for each page in the html web galleries? Thanks for your help everyone. Lightroom Rocks!
Best regards,
Matt George

Matt,
I tried switching <title>$metadata.siteTitle.value</title> to <title>$metadata.image.title</title> in the head.html file, but that just gave me a big error in LR when previewing the gallery.
I tried switching metadata.siteTitle.value to image.metadata.title in galleryInfo.lrweb file, but that did not work either.
I figure there must be a basic way to implement <title>Unique Photo Metadata Title</title> for each large photo html page in the Lightroom galleries, but I have not been able to figure it out. I assume I'm close, but since I'm not a coder like you I thought I would ask you. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Matt George

  • Custom JSP Tags for Weblogic

    Hi,
              I have several questions regarding this topic:
              1) Does Weblogic 5.1 supports Custom Tags ? If so, are there any known
              problems ?
              2) Does Weblogic come with any tag libraries (for loops, if, etc) and where
              can I get them ?
              3) Are there any tag libraries out there (JRun, for example) that have been
              successfully run on Weblogic ?
              Any help would be much appreciated.
              Thanks,

    As there seems to be general interest, a link would probably be a great

  • Unique Meta Title Tags for each Photo HTML Gallery

    I am using Lightroom 3.2 I would like to hack the HTML Web Gallery Engine to create unique title meta tags for each photo when it is selected for better search engine performance. I have been trying to mess around with the code and have not figured out what code I need to change. Does any one know what file I would need to change and what I would need to change it to enable a unique title tag based on the title of the actual photo in the HTML Web Galleries? Thanks for any help. I'm not a hard core coder by any means. There has to be someone out there that knows their LR very well.

  • Adding title, dimensions, media, for art in web gallery

    i'm a painter/sculptor, and would like to burn a web gallery or slide show of my work to cd to present to galleries, clients, etc. this looks like a great tool, with easy and clean templates.
    while i can get a title of a piece to appear, i would also like dimensions and media to show, ie:
    Arc
    4" x 14" x 3"
    acrylic and paper on wood
    2007
    is this possible? i could do it in Iview media pro under annotations i think, but working with that program at the time was a pain.
    i would think photographers would like to enter info such as title, dimensions, what type of print, etc.
    any help is appreciated.
    thanks

    Back from a long day at work and got round to investigating this.
    Yes, I did have info in the Caption metadata for my images and it did show up in other galleries, just not the one I wanted. I started with the Flash gallery (default) and changed the background colour to white, added my own labels, etc. Ticking Title adds the photo title but ticking Caption does nothing.
    I exported it anyway using just three photos and looked at the style.xml file in the styles folder (in the resources folder). Strangely, the behaviour to display the captions has been set false, even though I have ticked the option(!) Editing this to say true instead of false, saving the file and reopening the gallery now displays the caption. Weird.
    There are actually two references to displaying the caption, the second one was already set to true. But if I specify I want the captions, why did LR set this attribute to false?
    In any case, I created a new template using the default one and this works fine, so I'm not too fussed, just thought this might be a bug that others had experienced.
    Kind regards,

  • Title frame in the .Mac Web Gallery

    Hi there... I have a movie which I've published to the Web Gallery in iMovie '08. The first couple of seconds of the video is a black screen as there's a music intro. My problem is that due to this black background the preview on the Web Gallery is blank - just a black frame (not very interesting). My question is; is there a way to select which frame is used as the title fame?

    .. I'm publishing the movie direct to the Web Gallery though iMovie '08.
    ahh, I see.. no, I don't think so, that's possible from within iM08 .. I can not find a setting in its options.
    in QTpro, there's an easy single-click solution for that, 'View/Set Poster frame', which adds a manual selected poster frame...
    so, live with the preset, use iWeb or purchase QTpro seem to be your only options..

  • How to simply add custom property to a HTML Form Web Part?

    Hello.
    Is it possible to add a custom property (like a date-field) to a HTML Form Web Part with help of JavaScript? I do not want to use Visual Studio / Nappa etc. Is this possible in an easy way?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
    Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to count the date between today and the latest event date.
    You can create a calendar in a page firstly, then add a content editor web part rather than the html form web part, as html form web part can't place the Jquery element.
    Then you can firstly read the date field value of the calendar list using JavaScript Client Object Model and then calculate the difference between two date values using Jquery. You can add the code directly in the content editor web part.
    Here are some detailed code demos for your reference:
    Get SharePoint calendar list field value using JavaScript Client Object Model:
    <script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.9.1.js"></script>
    <script>
    $(document).ready(function(){
    SP.SOD.executeFunc("sp.js", "SP.ClientContext", retrieveListItemsCal);
    function retrieveListItemsCal() {
    var clientContextCal = new SP.ClientContext.get_current();
    var oListCal = clientContextCal.get_web().get_lists().getByTitle('Calendar');
    var camlQueryCal = new SP.CamlQuery.createAllItemsQuery();
    AllItemsCal = oListCal.getItems(camlQueryCal);
    clientContextCal.load(AllItemsCal);
    clientContextCal.executeQueryAsync(Function.createDelegate(this, this.onQuerySucceededCal), Function.createDelegate(this, this.onQueryFailedCal));
    function onQuerySucceededCal(sender, args) {
    var listItemInfo = '';
    var listItemEnumeratorCal = AllItemsCal.getEnumerator();
    var htmlCal = '';
    while(listItemEnumeratorCal.moveNext()) {
    var oListItemCal = listItemEnumeratorCal.get_current();
    htmlcal= oListItemCal.get_item("Start Time").format("MMMM d, yyyy"));
    break;
    function onQueryFailedCal(sender, args) {
    alert('Request failed. ' + args.get_message() + '\n' + args.get_stackTrace());
    </script>
    Calculate the difference between two dates:

  • Keep CS5 HTML "lightroom" web gallery template from renaming files...

    When creating an HTML Web Gallery (using  ‘Lightroom’ template), Bridge CS5 renames the thumbs and large images to  an arbitrary number.  The caption reads as the original file name, but  the actual image has a new name.  This is problematic, as my clients  will right-click selected images from my galleries to save and forward  for approval, but the file name is not the same as the original.
    As an example: VLNK0321.jpg  is renamed as _4856316150.jpg.  (In Preferences/Output, the "Convert  multi-byte file names to Full ASCII" is unchecked.)
    Is  there any way to fix this little (for me--BIG) problem?  Can the script be altered to keep the original file name, not the ten-digit arbitrary number that it currently generates?
    Thanks for any help offered!

    I believe I've discovered the file/script that does the renaming.  I've done some testing, and have been able to change the way Bridge does the changes, but not able to keep the original file name.
    The file is "galleryCreator.jsxinc", found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CS5 Extensions\Adobe Output Module\mediagallery\resources\scripts.
    I'm not a code-guy, so I'm hoping that someone with more smarts than I can help.  Below is the part of "galleryCreator.jsxinc" that does the re-naming.  Simply deleting this entire part of the script renders Bridge unusable.  So allowing the script to create the altername is important.  If the alteration could consist of only adding the "underscore" prefix to the original file name, all would be well...
    Here's the pertient portion of the script:
    AOM.AmgGalleryCreator.createUniqueFileName = function(filePath, jpgFile, createMode)
        var alteredName;
        while (true)
            alteredName = "_";
            for (var i=0; i<10; i++)
                alteredName += Math.floor(Math.random() * 10);
            alteredName += ".jpg";
            var f = new File(filePath + alteredName);
            if (!f.exists)
                break;
        return alteredName;
    I will send a check for $200 to the first person who can rewrite this to simply add the underscore first, then return the original file name instead of the random number generator, and make it work.  Anyone?

  • Using SAPGui for HTML and Web AS 6.40

    Hello, my question is around what it would take to access SAP R/3 from a web browser to view a report for instance. I'm looking to do this because ITS and  Enterprise Portals are not options that I can use. I know that Web AS 6.40 has ITS features and SAPGui for HTML incorporated in it but I'm not exactly sure how one would setup SAPGui for HTML so that reports are accessible via a web browser.
    Thank you.

  • Watermarking for Aperture's web gallery

    I really like Aperture's web gallery feature but would like to make use of the watermark feature for those images. That way, if images are 'borrowed' there is still a reference to my website.
    Any ideas on how this could be done? I'm guessing the only way is to edit in PS and add the watermark there but is it possible to do without leaving Aperture?

    Make a new Web Export preset with a watermark, just like you would a regular Image Export preset.

  • Custom adaptive tags for 6.5 / 10gR3

    I'm going through an upgrade, and it seems that while some of the custom adaptive tags developed for 6.1 work in 10gR3, there are some that do not. Before I go about doing the work, I felt that I should ask..has anyone done this yet? I didn't see any .NET dll's in the alui toolbox...
    In particular, the tag that I need right now is the pt:standard.openerlink with the ability to display extra parameter(s).

    This is actually easier than I expected. I don't know why i was scared of creating new tags all these years. A few things that I found...
    With friendly urls, when the link is created (using standard.openerlink), the portal needs to look up the object to ensure that its valid (makes sense, otherwise, how would it put the name in the friendly url). I would imagine that this would have performance implications, right?

  • Changing ALT and Title Tags for Book and Page  Icons

    Hi folks,
    Are you aware of any setting in Robo Help that would allow
    you to modify or even remove the ALT and titles introduced for the
    Book and and Page icons displayed on the navigation pane. I tried
    deleting it from the RoboHHRE.lng file, but still its not going
    away. Other than deleting it from the rendered files (whlstt0.htm)
    is there any other setting within RoboHelp that would do the trick.
    My idea is to remove all ALT and title attributes given to Book and
    Pages as its causing too much redundancy.

    Hi Prabhat -
    Apologies for the delayed response: while there is no
    Robohelp checkbox for removing this, you can step into the
    generated files and remove it. This thread should provide what

  • Custom Splash Screen for HTML Export?

    Nevertheless the splash screen doesn't show up.

    any idea why webstart doesn't use the custom "splashscreen.jpg"?
    a properly splashXXXXX.jpg has been created in .javaws/cache/splashes, as well as an entry in splash.xml.

  • Using Custom XSLT File for html output file

    Hi all
    I have probably rather a silly question but I have not found a solution yet.
    I would like to use a custom XSLT file, which I already have and is working, within a Biztalk Map. The custom XSLT is generating a html file out of an xml file. However I'm not able to succeed so far because I have probably some issues in defining the correct
    target schema.
    The output that I get at the moment is just a duplicate of the input, probably because I have used the schema for source and target.
    So my question is, how do I create a html file out of an xml with a custom XSLT file?
    Sorry if this is a nooby question but I couldn't find an answer.

    Hi Jerome,
    Sorry, your question is not very clear. "I would like to use a custom XSLT file, which I already have and is working, within a BizTalk Map. The custom XSLT is generating a html file out of an xml file" -  You have an XSLT which you use for map and how
    its generating a HTML file? Are you using something like this?
    Changing an XML Response to an HTML output using a Map
    If your requirement is to output the html file from the received XML file using XSLT, then use a custom pipeline at send port like XSLT Transform Component and provide the XST which would change the XML to HTML. Here is an example of an XST which I have
    used in the past, which converts the received OrderResponse XML to nicely formatted HTML.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
