Custom transfer in File Format

Hi,
I have this need to use the SFTP to get the txt files from a UNIX system and the Data Services is in the windows.
The SFTP exe is stored in the unix server
Any Suggestion of how to go through with this.

Many Thanks for reply actually what I have done
I first /create parameter for columns like;
Then used
=iif(instr(Join(Parameters!columns.Value,","),"01")>0,false,true)
for  every column visibility Experssion.
So Above is work fine for me.
then I have no need for
Then for the export you need to create a link using jump to url action and inside that pass value of parameter as a query string
see

  • How does Airplay transfer audio file format to an Airport Express?

    Hi, everyone
How does Airplay transfer audio file format to an Airport Express?
Many from the Internet claim that iTunes encodes an AIFF file format into an Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC) file format before sending signal to an Airport Express.
    Is that true?
If so, would it still make sense for me to have AIFF files on my music server
or should I have ALAC files instead?
    Please advise.
    Thank you.
    BR,
    George Lien

Many from the Internet claim that iTunes encodes an AIFF file format into an Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC) file format before sending signal to an Airport Express.
    Is that true?
Yes. The AirPort Express Base Station (AX) works only with iTunes v4.6+ and is limited to music files that iTunes can read; ie, 16-bit data only. These data, though, can be in any file format that iTunes recognizes, from lossy MP3s at the low-quality end of the spectrum to Apple Lossless and lossless AIFF or WAV files at the high end. It is also important to note that the AX functions only at a 44.1kHz sample rate. When you play 32kHz or 48kHz data, iTunes sample-rate-converts the data in real time before sending it to the AX.
iTunes uses a QuickTime CODEC to convert audio files to Apple Lossless, and then, uses AirPlay to send them to the AX. In turn, the AX uses built-in software that converts the Apple Lossless to an Encoded Digital Audio format. From there, digital audio is sent to a optical transceiver to convert the electrical signal to an optical one before sending it to the innermost part of the audio port. For analog, the AX has a built-in DAC to convert the Encoded Digital Audio to Analog which is sent to the same audio port.
If so, would it still make sense for me to have AIFF files on my music server
or should I have ALAC files instead?
If you have audio files in both formats, I would elect just to keep the ALAC (.m4a) files on the music server.

  • Custom batch rename files with Aperture 3 in the following format: IMG_0023.cr2 to Smith_YYMMDD_0023.cr2?  I cannot find a way to structure the date in Aperture as such, as well as extract only the camera file

Please advise how to custom batch rename files with Aperture 3 in the following format: IMG_0023.cr2 to Smith_120816_0023.cr2?  I cannot find a way to structure the date in Aperture as such (YYMMDD), as well as extract only the camera file (0023, for example).  Adobe Bridge CS5 can do this, but NONE of the Adobe software is retina optimized, and is terrible to look at.

In Aperture you are limited to renaming files by the entries in the File Naming preset window.
At what point are you looking to rename, import or export? It might be possible to do what you are looking to do external to Aperture either via a script or other software.

  • How to write an inputter for a custom input file format?

On a project I'm working on I've got a custom capture log of driver communications between user-mode to system drivers.
I've been trying to figure out how I can use Windows Message Analyzer to input my custom capture format and visualize the result (it is not a text logfile). I've had a look through the OPN extensions and I can't find the implementation of each file format
it can handle other than the logfile handlers. Am I crazy to be using Windows Message Analyzer to navigate non-network packets? I'm just looking for a good framework to navigate messages which have destinations, sources, and data:
    timestamp
    src_pid
    src_name
    dst_hdevice
    dst_name
    buffer
After inputting this data, I may explore writing parsers for particular drivers.
Any thoughts or pointers on where to start and if this is the right framework?

Yes, this is possible today.  You can write OPN to parse a text file. There are some examples in :\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\MessageAnalyzer\OpnAndConfiguration\TextLogConfiguration\DevicesAndLogs.  You can add your own, but be warned
they might not be backed up when you upgrade.  So I would save a backup.
The examples there should serve as a good start.  I also just wrote another response regarding how to handle timestamps that might vary from our strict format.
If you are still stuck, please ask more questions.

  • Home Movie Film Transfer File Format

What file format should I request for my home movie film transfers?  I want to both archive the films in high definition and edit with Premiere Elements 8.  Disc space is not a problem.

The commercial movie transfer companies are recommending HD AVI, AVI Black Magic, Motion JPEG (which they say are equivalent), and not MPEG-2.  I didn't know that AVI could be 1440x1080.  Can you give me some examples of 1440x1080 non-square pixel file names or could you refer me to an information source so I would know what I am talking about when I talk with them?

  • How do I transfer video files shot from my camera (Canon 5DMk2) which is in .MOV format into iTunes ?

how do I transfer video files shot from my camera (Canon 5DMk2) which is in .MOV format into iTunes ?  My photos and video files are first imported into Aperture then synced with iTunes. However, itunes does not capture the Video files but uploads the phtos from Aperture during sync.
I tried dragging the video files into iTunes but it still would not be captured into iTunes ?
Appreciate any help on this. Thanks

Open them in Quicktime Player 10.1. Then, use Quicktime's Share menu > iTunes.  That will create an iTunes compatible version and automatically load it into your iTunes movie library.

  • Loading completely custom file formats

I have historic test data in about 5 different completely custom file formats.  Data is saved in raw int 16 and converted to engineering units at the time of loading.  Is this something that DIAdem is capable of doing?
I have not used the software before, but it is something I am considering implementing for our lab.  Answering this question is the first step in deciding if that is what we want to do.

    Hi Bowen,
Here's the example DataPlugin closest to what you're describing.

  • How to transfer my .bbb format file to iPhone5?

    Hello there,
Could you, please, show me how to transfer my BlackBerry backup file to an iPhone 5?
    I feel it's a little bit difficult.
    Thank you.

    Hi FoxDie85
    Welcome to the Community
You can't transfer. bbb file to Iphone nor android as it's for BlackBerry devices only. But, you can transfer Contacts, Calendar items, Pictures, Videos, Files and documents to Iphone using 'Device Switch'.
On your old device, tap Search and type Device Switch in the field. For more information, visit www.blackberry.com/deviceswitch
    Good luck.

  • File upload - issue with European .csv file format

    All,
when uploading the .csv file for "Due List for Planned Receipts" in the File Transfer Upload center I receive an error.  It appears that it is due to the european .csv file format that is delimited by semicolon rather than comma. The only way I could solve this issue is to change Regional and Language options to English. However, I don't think this is a great solution as I can't ask all our suppliers to change their settings.  Has anyone come across this issue and another way of solving it?
    Thank you!
    Have a good day,
    Johanna

Igor thank you for your suggestion.
    I found this SAP note:
+If you download a file, and the formatting of the CSV file is faulty, it is possible that your column separator does not match the standard settings of the SAP system. In the standard SAP system, the separator is ,.
To ensure that the formatting is correct, set your global default for column separation in your system, so that it matches that of the SAP system you are using.+
To do that Microsoft suggests to change the "List separator" in the Regional and Language Options Customize view. Though like you suggest that does not seem to do the trick. Am I missing something?
However, if I change the whole setting from say German to English (UK) the .csv files are comma delimited and can be easily uploaded.  Was hoping there would be another way of solving this without need for custom development.

  • Lockbox Process, Configuration, Lockbox File format

    Hi everybody,
I need a help on lockbox documents. Pls send.
    Regards,
    JC

    hi
Lockbox is a process provided by a bank where the customer remits his payment to a PO Box at your bank, the bank deposits the check in your account and enters the remittance data from the customer. Then the bank sends the data to you electronically for you to import and apply in SAP-AR.
The structure that the bank uses is usually one of two formats. BAI will provide you the customer information and the check amount but no invoice remittance data. Usually cheaper and works well for a business where customers are paying only one invoice at a time.
BAI-2 offers remittance data but the bank charges more for the service because they have to enter more info.
Look at structures FLB** to see the transfer data.
When the bank sends the customer payment data you use Treasury function FLB2 to import and then process the payments. This process attempts to determine where to apply the payment and will post directly against an invoice, an account to a customer or if it can't even determine the customer it posts into a clearing account (configured) to be resolved.
    Purpose
Lockbox is a service offered by American banks in which banks collect and process customer payments to reduce processing time. The system can handle both lockbox file formats offered by banks, namely, BAI and BAI2.
    Process Flow
A company can create accounts called ‘lockbox’ accounts at its bank (or banks) that act as payment collection accounts for customer payments.  The company then informs their customers that all open item payments for their accounts must be submitted to one of the established bank lockbox accounts.  The bank collects these payments along with the customers’ remittance information that indicates what open items the customer payments intend to clear.  Data entry clerks at the bank manually enter the information into an electronic file for transmission to the company to which the lockbox account belongs. These files are typically transferred nightly to the various lockbox owners (companies).  The files adhere to one of two standard banking industry transmission formats (BAI and BAI2), both of which are supported in the system.
BAI and BAI2 formats differ in their level of information detail.  BAI does not separate out the incoming check line items by invoice subtotal reference.  Conversely, BAI2 splits the check total into separate invoice references and associated payment amounts. As a result, your ‘hit rate’ percentage of payment-invoice matching from each transmission is likely to be higher when using BAI2 rather than BAI formats.

  • Best file format for iMovie when transferring standard 8 to DVD for use under iMovie.

I have some old Standard 8 cine film which I want transfered to DVD or CD so I can edit under iMovie.
What file format should I ask for i.e. .avi etc,
Should I get them onto DVD or CD.
Does anyone know a reliable transfer companies ?
    I have Mac OS X 10.6.8 and iMovie 09 8.0.6 (821)
    Many thanks for any help.

If you have 8MM film, I have found a company called Mymovietransfer.com or Debenham media that will convert the 8MM to 1080P in the format you specify. I chose Motion JPEG, and it worked great in iMovie. If you have Final Cut Pro, you can choose ProRes or Uncompressed instead.
When you get your film converted to DVD, it will be standard definition and lose some quality. If you prefer to go standard definition you are better off finding someone who will convert it to DV codec rather than a DVD, which is highly compressed MPEG2.
So my suggestion would ne to find a company that can convert it in the highest quality possible. You can then edit it in iMovie and share to YouTube, DVD, etc.
Here is a sample video of mine in 1080P from 8MM converted by Mymovietransfer.

I have no affiliation with this company except as a satisfied customer.

  • Reg DMEE file format

    Dear experts,
My requirement is that i have to change the DMEE file format for format tree GB_BACS according to user requirement. I have copied to ZGB_BACS and trying to change it according to user requirement. But when the functional trying to attach ZGB_BACS to configuration, it is throwing an error stating it is not updated in table. Can anyone help me in achieving this.
    tks in advance

    Stephen,
I'm sure you're trying various alternatives with your mentioned transaction, but in the documentation, I find reference to DME, and here's what it says.
    DME
Data medium exchange in this case involves the creation of a file which corresponds to the rules of the credit institution in question for automatic payment transactions and which contains all the necessary payment information.
The information relevant for the payment medium (file format, creation data, payment amount in local currency, payment documents involved etc.) are stored in the system and can be called up via the DME manager.
Other functions of the DME manager are:
    - Downloading the file into your local (PC) file system
    - Displaying and printing the file contents
    - Generating a payment summary for the data medium
I would strongly suggest putting as many parameters as you know while trying to extract an output from this program.
If things still don't work, have a look at T.Code PC00_M99_FPAYM. The Easy Access path is HR --> Payroll --> Europe --> Great Britain --> Payroll --> Bank Transfer
Just in case you haven't looked here, there are a bunch of other programs here that might turn out to be useful to you.
If you have, and tried & discarded all of these, I guess a custom development is your only way out.

  • Unable to transfer large files from MB to External HDs

    Hi,
This may be an unusual one. My 1st edition Macbook won't let me transfer large files to my external hard-drives, either by USB, Ethernet or wirelessly through my home wi-fi network.
I've started video editing so I'm importing DVcam tapes through firewire from the camera. A full DV tape translates to about 8-12gb I think.
Using iMovie and saving the import to my Freecom 3.5inch network harddrive vis USB or ethernet, it fails saying 'Unexpected error, error code 1309'.
When I try quicktime pro instead to import the tape to the external HD, I get 'Operation could not be completed, An attempt to add a resource to the file failed'. This happens too with my WD 2.5inch external drive.
However, there is no such problem when I import to the MB's internal harddrive. When I then try and shift the large file off the laptop to an external drive, via USB, ethernet of wirelessly, for editing and save keeping, it fails half way through.
I have the same problem when I try back-up my 17gb virtual windows machine I use with VMware fusion off the laptop to an external drive.
I am currently burning an 18gb iMovie project from the MB's internal HD, over 5 DVDs using Toast's disc-spanning and will reimport them to the external, which is really time consuming.
Also to note, Final Cut Express doesn't have these problems as it seems to break up what would be an 18gb movie file into several smaller files, which my MB is quiet happy to let go onto an external drive. However, the problem re-emerges on Final Cut Ex when I try and import a HDV tape. Possibly FCE isn't breaking them up into small enough pieces for my MB to handle?
Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? Or does this mean a new laptop?

I'm a bit late to the party, but specifically there's a 4GB file size limit in the FAT32 format that is standard on many external hard drives. I've run across this problem before, and usually it copies over most of the file and then quits when it reaches the limit.
