Customer can't start software, need advice

Question

I have customer running Win2K that can't seem to launch our app.
batch file loads Main.class
Main.class checks for dongle and exp date once both are confirmed valid the following code launches our app

              while ( (line = br.readLine()) != null){

              System.out.println("</OUTPUT>");
              int exitVal = p.waitFor();
              System.out.println("Process exitValue: " + exitVal);
            catch( Throwable t ){
              System.out.println(t.getMessage());
            }In the batch file I inserted a bunch of pauses to try and catch the error, the user reported seeing the line
"<OUTPUT>
So I know we are getting to the software and it's trying launch the MainScreen.class but something is kicking it out.
Any ideas on how to catch the exact error?

Thanks for the reply,
I just sent the user a batch file that bypassed the dongle check to see if we could get it to launch
I used
java -XX:-CodeForP6 -cp c:\App\jar\Application.jar; MainScreen
So I'll let you know what the results are.
