There will be customer master data in Retail, nomally willl use one time account group customer and he is the Anonymous customer (walkin customer) assigned to POS outbound profile
Customizing:
Create number ranges for customer
Create account group and assign number range
Create customerusing XD01
Apart from this DC and Store also need to be consider as customer in Retail.
when DC supllies good to store, is the customer and DC plays role as vendor and customer both.
Creating DC and store as customer can proceed with WB01 and customer tab.
Customizing:
Create number ranges for customer
Create account group and assign number range
Create site rpofiles, Assgin account group in site profiles

    As per my view,,
    You can use one time customer functionality to full fill your requirement.
    When you create sales order with one time customer system take you to the customer data maintanence screen through that you can maintain the one time customer data.
    Same one time customer number you can use for every new order through maintaining different data.

  • Automatic creation of Company Code and Sales Area Data for Customer Master

    Hi,
    We have a organisation structure setup with multiple company codes and sales areas.
    A customer will be created using VD01 via the Sales Order VA01. Because the customers are created using VD01 we need to automatically extend the customer for the various company codes and sales areas. The data on these views will be populated using reference customers.
    Any recommendations on the best approach (technically) to auto extend the customer master would be appreciated.
    I'm reluctant to use BDC's because of performance. We are in a Retail environment.

    The sample code has been taken from the SAP notes - in which have the affected as outlined in the example.
    The codes does not do what my requirements are, which is to identify the next available number in isolation of the BP type.

    CUSTOMER HIERARCHY:
    Customer hierarchies are available in Sales and Distribution, so that you can create flexible hierarchies to reflect the structure of customer organizations. If your customer base includes multi-level buying groups, cooperatives, or chains of retail outlets, for example, you can create hierarchies to reflect the structure of these groups. Use customer hierarchies during sales order processing and billing for determining pricing and running statistics.
    A customer hierarchy consists of nodes.
    To create a customer hierarchy:
    1. Create master records for each node.
    2. Assign the nodes to each other.
    3. Assign the customer master records to the relevant nodes.
    Hierarchy nodes are only valid for a certain period of time. They may also be moved. If a node is moved, the system automatically reassigns all related nodes and customer master records.
    With customer hierarchies, you can assign price or rebate agreements to a higher level node. The agreements are then valid for customer’s at all subordinate levels to this node. You can create pricing condition records for each node indicated as relevant for pricing. If one or more nodes in the hierarchy path of a sales order contain pricing information, the system takes them into account automatically during pricing.
    'How to check'

    1) Define hierarchy type: just put and ID and a name to the new hierarchy.
    2) Set partner determination: if you want to user the hierarchy in price determination, then, in the orders, at the header level, you have to have a Partner Procedure with a partner function for each level. In the partner procedure, in each partner function you must indicate the source partner function. With this information, in the order, you obtain the business partner for each partner function.
    3) Assign account groups: you indicate which accounts groups are allowed for being part or your hierarchy.
    4) Assign sales areas: simple you indicate which sales areas are allowed in your hierarchy. (Here you can customize common sales areas, just for not having to build de hierarchy in all the different sales areas).
    5) Assigning hierarchy type for pricing: you indicate which classes of documents uses hierarchy in pricing determination.
    It is possible to maintain so called customer hierarchies. This might be useful when for example you create a condition discount for a customer that is part of such a hierarchy structure. All subnodes in the hierarchy below that customer, will thus receive the same discount.
    Customer hierarchy setup, firstly decide the hierarchy type to be used.
    The standard is type A.
    You can also assign a partner function to the customer so that the higher level customer in the hierarchy is copied into a sales order as a partner function - but you don't need that right?
    Next assign your customer account group to the hierarchy type. And enter the combinations that will be allowed for creating the hierarchy.
    You want to assign a ship-to to a payer. So enter the ship to account group and enter the payer account group as the higher level.
    You must also make an entry for permitted sales area assignments. So if you want to a hierarchy for customers in the same sales area then enter the sales area and enter the same one as the higher level sales area.
    All these settings can be found in the IMG. Under SD - master data - business partners - customers - customer hierarchy
    You use for example customer hierarchy when you have an company like Unilever and you agree both on a discount. Unilever does have different locations / businesses and you have to maintain the discount for all customers. If you use a customer hierarchy you can maintain the discount for the partner in the top of the hierarchy and in this way it will be valid for all customers in the hierarchy.

  • Usage of price group in customer master

    Hello ,
    I have a business requirement like this:
    The price group field is used for different discount rates for the customers   There are 2 types of customers wholesale and retail. I am not sure of the usage of price groups in customer master to use for the discount for the customers

    Price group is a field Where you can group certain customers under one umbrella
    Suppose if you have 3 price groups say price group1 price group2  and price group3
    Say there are 10 customers A to J
    You are assigning customers A to D in price group 1
    You are assigning customers E to G in price group 2
    You are assigning customers H to J in price group 3 in their respective CMRs
    Price group can be added as filed in pricing condition table and you can maintain condition records for them
    In VK11 the table with price group 1 is maintained discount of 5 %
    In VK11 the table with price group 2 is maintained discount of 6 %
    In VK11 the table with price group 3 is maintained discount of 7 %
    So in sales order the customers A to D will get 5 % discount and customers E to G will get 6 % discount  and customers H to J will get 7 % discount

    I noticed I needed to use the button addtional text as well in VD52, though this is limited to 72 characters and not unlimited. Now I'm facing the issue that the commercial invoice is not printing all characters defined in this field, so probably have the layout increase field length.

  • Asking for help about modification to article master data of retail system

    Deal All,
    Is there any one can tell me how to modify the article master data in retail system ?
    I have tried to deal with the requirement by BDC and calling the function BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT,
    but both of the two approaches can not update the customized fields in the table MAW1.
    For BDC, the changed data can only be update in debug mode.
    For the function, no customized fields of table MAW1 are taken into account as to its parameters.
    Can anyone tell how I should do ?

    Hi,
    Within the customer master's "Sales Area Data", under the "Sales" tab, there is this "Price List" under the "Pricing/Statistics" section.
    Questions.
    1. How is this price list used for this customer?
    2. How do we create a new price list so that it can be listed here?
    3. Where/what transaction codes can we use to see the existing price list being maintained?

    1. you can define price list types by customer groups (wholesale, retail, and so on) and by currency (price lists for each foreign country you deal with).
    2. You can define price list categories in IMG-BF-Pricing-Maintain price relevant master data fields-Define price list categories for customers.
    Once you define here, you can assign to a customer.
    3. You can display/change/create price lists in transaction VK31 and from prices group select price list.

  • Creation of partner functions for customer master with LSMW

    Hello,
    I try to create partner functions together with a customer via Batch Input in LSMW.
    Object: 0050, method: 0000, program name: RFBIDE00, program type: B.
    I use the structure BKNVP (Customer master partner functions) to create a new partner and set values for the fields KTONR and PARVW.
    When I start the batch input the fields are filled in correctly in a new dynpro. After the confirmation of these values the dynpro changes back to the partner functions sscreen, but the value for KTONR isn'n being transferred. So I get an error message.
    Is it only possible to update partner functions with that BI or what is going wrong ?

    I am creating customer master by class 'MAINTAIN_BAPI'.  So all fields are sucessfully created except the field 'Remarks / Comments' on customer..Please suggest for the same as far as posiible..

    sorry to reply after the message closure.
    Maybe you will read it.
    SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL is used in standard during the maintenance of a consumer using the standard customer master data transaction XD01 & XD02.
    It is not intended to be used out of the transaction and in no case it should be used out of its original context. Due to the specificity of the function module, out of the original context we may face limitations and data inconsistencies.
    For the maintenance of customers, there is NO BAPI and NO direct function module.
    There are some functions modules like the one above where the name is looking nice. But these should not be used.
    BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1 is part of them. This one uses SD_CUSTOMER_MAINTAIN_ALL, so the above remark is still valid. Moreover, this BAPI is to be used only from process  SAP Product Catalog. Out of it and due to its limitation, a lot of troubles are expected.
    Sorry.
    Below ECC 2005 (6.00), the only solution was batch input and DEBMAS idocs. See [note 384462|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/384462]
    Starting with ECC 2005 (6.00) and above: a synchronisation tool has been introduce. See class CMD_EI_API and VMD_EI_API

  • Problem in  creation of Customer Master

    Hi gurus,
    I am facing problem in creation of customer master.
    I have created a account group zz01 copying from 0001.which has internal no. assignement for the customer.
    Now i am trying to create a customer master, at partner functions level under sales area data...  the system is asking for the no. for each partner functions.. when i tried to manually enter, the system is not taking any number nor it is letting me save the data.
    Please help me out in acertaining,  what could be the issue.

    its due to the number ranges that is specified in the partner determination ... chech what is the number range assigned in the parner determination ,,, so once u check that u have to manually enter the number between that range only .. this should solve ur problem...
    path to check the number range is as below :
    spro-img-logistic generalbusiness partner-customers---define account groups and field selection ---    
    at this point click position button at the bottom and give ur account group .. select ur account group and click detail button .. now inside that u can see the specified number range .. dafault is 08 ( means u can specify between 400000 to 499999)..
    and some times  u may not have defined number range... check urs and create accordingly ... this should solve ur problem...

    SAP Notes give you instructions on how to remove known errors from SAP Systems. They include a description of the symptoms, the cause of the error, and the SAP Release and Support Package level in which the error occurs. SAP Notes that contain correction instructions can be implemented using Note Assistant.
    You need to log on to www.service.sap.com. This would ask for a S-User ID and Password. Check with your System Administrator for the same.
    Once logged on, go to the link Help & Support --> Search for SAP Notes. Provide the SAP Note number. Read the note carefully and do the needful.

    Few points to note related to SharePoint Master page:
    You don't need to create master page template. If you deploy your master page in site collection level you can reuse the same master page in subsites without copying again and again, rather just by referencing
    You have not mentioned how you are going to deploy your master page. If you have any Visual Studio (VS) solution already, try to add your  master page in the VS solution and deploy your master page (and other branding components) as SharePoint WSP
    solution.
    Deploying master page will not activate the master page, you need to use some kind of 'Web Level Feature' to activate your branding - the feature will basically set the master page property of SharePoint site to your custom master page.

    Hi,
    How did you look for screen exit? Have you also tried it in BADI? 'Coz normally, adding custom fields to a standard screen has to be implemented in exits.
    I haven't worked with VB* screens yet so I can not give you a some possible exits. But you can do some debugging. I think there's an available code in the net that searches for exits/screen exit (ask Mr.Google). You can also ask him how to search BADI in debugging mode. I remember it's TCode SE24 then look for cl_exithandler class, get_instance method. Then look for exit_name variable.
