Customization of CAT2 transaction - Very Urgent
Dear SDNers,
We have created variant version for standard CAT2 transaction using SHDS trans code. (Just to hide some of the options from the end user to enhance the usability). To extend the usability, we need to do the following activity.
In the Release View of CAT2, when user clicks Release, the save should happen internally. Could we achieve this using some configuration
? If not, to achieve this activity, how can I proceed to perform further customization
? Could we achieve this by modifying some HTML / Dynpro code etc
? If, what could be the approach
?

I have explored CATW but the client shown interest to use standard CAT2

your question is not really about ITS, but rather on how to customize the Application. I am not sure if there is a forum for CA-TS, but if there is, I am pretty certain you will get more (and better) answers there ...

About Enjoy Transactions ------ Very Urgent
Is it recommendable to use BDC for Enjoy Transactions ?
If no , Why ?hi,
Enjoy transactions use Enjoy SAP Controls like ALV Grid, ALV Tree. If you run BDC in background these Controls would not be able to communicate front-end since they need some files in front-end (client - PC), so BDC fails.
Therefore what can be done? There are two possibilities:
1- ) There might be a alternative, usually older version, transaction. You can use it. For example ME22N is a Enjoy transaction, but ME22 is the older one, does the same thing. So ME22 can be used.
2- ) If it is available, a BAPI can be used. Whatever you want to do, you can search BAPIs and use it instead of BDC technique.

Very urgent, no Transacctions Types possible to create Business Transaction
Hello, this question is very urgent, please I will be very pleased if anybody can helps me.
When I want to create a Business Transaction, at CRMD_ORDER, I dont have any Transaction Type to choose to create the Business Transaction, so I can't create anyone.
I have got many Transaction types, I am usign CRM 5.0 and I have got many Transaction Types with all Channel communication allowed.

Please check whether all your Transaction type are in Active mode or Not.
Also check the Allowed Channels status, if it is not filled please add the same from the drop down.

Hi all..very urgent..problem with the transaction VL10.
Hi gurus,i having trouble in executing the transaction VL10.

2.Select Sales orders Tab
Enter sales document number 16283319 to 16283320
Remaining all fields should be blank
3.Click on Execute Icon.

Go to transaction SM12, put user name PSREDDY.
Exceute it, and select all entry and delete.
After follow the same procedure, you followed early.

Very Urgent!!!Calling custom OAF vent reg page from JTT page gives error.
1. We have a need to customize Oracle Marketing Online Event registration page (Oracle standard JTT page: amsEventRegistrantsEntryMain.jsp - available via function AMS_EVENT_REG_ENTRY) .
2. We have created a new custom OAF page for the event registration and modified the function definition Web HTML property from "amsEventRegistrantsEntryMain.jsp" to "jtfcrmchrome.jsp?
page=/oracle/apps/xxamw/xxams/event/webui/XXAmsEventRegScheduleCrePG&akRegionApplicationId=540&jttoijappn=OKL" (tried also with OA.jsp call)
3. Now when we click on the Register link from the base (This Oracle standard Register link calls AMS_EVENT_REG_ENTRY and since AMS_EVENT_REG_ENTRY is modified we expect OAF page to render) page it throws "You have insufficient privileges for the current operation. Please contact your System Administrator." error. The function is not accessible.
4. Navigation: Oracle Marketing Super User -> Marketing Online -> Event -> Registration Stb menu -> Search for a "Event Schedule Name" -> Click Go -> Click on Register link (We expect our custom OAF page when register link is
clicked)
Please note this design was tested successfully in an instance but when we migrated this to a new instance it fails. We cannot compare two instances since the previous instance no longer exists. Seems some issue with JTT menu straucture since we are using Oracle standard JTT function. This is a very urgent issue and any quick help or pointer will be great.

Have u added your called function to the current user? That means by navigating to the responsibility you can access the same page directly, with out doing any transaction? If so then create your custom function with your required URL and attach to a menu ; then check if you are able to view that page from the menu navigation?If these thing is not working then I think you need to create a custom page that will extend the std region , that time hopefully it will work.

I Moving data from Cube to ODS . Let me explain abt the records in the cube .
There are 6 key figures in the cube as well as dimensions, UNIQKEY TRANSACTION is One Dimension and ARTICLE is another dimension which is having an Navigational attribute called CORE ELEMENT.
I am showing the data with those two dimension and the key figures which are to be used in the routine.

The Logic is ...
1.if Materail is of type 1(Means if the core element - 1)
I need to Populate the No of items in tnx = 1 .--ITEMS.
2.If Material is of type(Means if the core element)2or 3 I need to populate the billing quantity to the no of transcations.--ITEMS
3. If the Uniqkey tanscation contains two line items as suppose that you have 20 litres of fuel and 2 cans of coke, then No of Items in the transaction should be 3 and Billing Quantity in BUoM 22
billing quantity in BUoM = 20 litres for the first line item and 2 for the second line item...
then as the first line item is fuel, field No OF Items in the Transcation should be 1 (replacing the 20) + 2 = 3
so the final result in the ODS should be billing quantity in BUoM = 22 and The Items in the Transcation= 3
So the ODS Data should look like this.

Its strange but the user what to analyse with the UNIQKEY transaction. And these objects will be added as navigational attributes to the Characteristic. as it acts as another dimension.
He wants to laod these from ODS to Master data -Characteristic.
to say for each transcation hpw many items are getting sold.

Is there any specific note or any customization required for this ?
Due to this ARE1 is also giving "0" values & subsequent "0" value in Bond Register.

The function module is related to post the idoc type FIDCPP01
and posts the complete FI document. and as coming to second function module along with Tax you can post item wise with holding tax dataalso. So you choose the required function module based on the data you need to post. If you need not post with holding tax details dont fo for second function modules.

SMARTFORMS STEPS.
1. In Tcode se11 Create a structure(struct) same like the Internal table that you are going to use in your report.
2. Create Table type(t_struct) of stracture in se11.
3. In your program declare Internal table(Itab) type table of structure(struct).
4. Define work area(wa) like line of internal table.
5. Open Tcode Smartforms
6. In form Global setting , forminterface Import parameter define Internal table(Itab) like table type of stracture(t_struct).
7. In form Global setting , Global definitions , in Global data define Work area(wa) like type stracture(struct).
8. In form pages and window, create Page node by default Page1 is available.
9. In page node you can create numbers of secondary window. But in form there is only one Main window.
10. By right click on page you can create windows or Go to Edit, Node, Create.
11. After creating the window right click on window create table for displaying the data that you are passing through internal table.
12. In the table Data parameter, loop internal internal table (Itab) into work area(wa).
13. In table there are three areas Header, Main Area, Footer.
14. Right click on the Main area create table line by default line type1 is there select it.
15. Divide line into cells according to your need then for each cell create Text node.
16. In text node general attribute. Write down fields of your work area(wa) or write any thing you want to display.
17. Save form and activate it.
18. Then go to Environment, function module name, there you get the name of function module copy it.
19. In your program call the function module that you have copied from your form.
20. In your program in exporting parameter of function pass the internal table(itab).
SAP Smart Forms is introduced in SAP Basis Release 4.6C as the tool for creating and maintaining forms.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to execute simple modifications to the form and in the form logic by using simple graphical tools; in 90% of all cases, this won't include any programming effort. Thus, a power user without any programming knowledge can
configure forms with data from an SAP System for the relevant business processes.
To print a form, you need a program for data retrieval and a Smart Form that contains the entire from logic. As data retrieval and form logic are separated, you must only adapt the Smart Form if changes to the form logic are necessary. The application program passes the data via a function module interface to the Smart Form. When activating the Smart Form, the system automatically generates a function module. At runtime, the system processes this function module.
You can insert static and dynamic tables. This includes line feeds in individual table cells, triggering events for table headings and subtotals, and sorting data before output.
You can check individual nodes as well as the entire form and find any existing errors in the tree structure. The data flow analysis checks whether all fields (variables) have a defined value at the moment they are displayed.
SAP Smart Forms allow you to include graphics, which you can display either as part of the form or as background graphics. You use background graphics to copy the layout of an existing (scanned) form or to lend forms a company-specific look. During printout, you can suppress the background graphic, if desired.

Default GL Assignment to Tax Code - Very Urgent
Dear Friends,
When I am doing the T. Code MIRO, the Service tax receivables and Education cess receivables are automatically coming in the accounting entry.
The entry is as follows :
GR / IR A/c Dr 10500
Service Tax Receivables Dr 315
Education Cess Receivables Dr 6. 30
To Vendor Account 10821.30
Actually this is Service vendor transaction. So, I did the following transactions in MM.
1. Created Purchase order u2013 I gave Tax code as S6 in that.
2. Created Service sheet through T. Code u2013 ML81N u2013 in this I gave the cost center and GL A/c ( GL A/c is -- Lease Rentals )
3. Invoice Posting through T.Codeu2013MIRO u2013 in this also mentioned the Tax Code-S6
Note : As per MM Consultant we should not do the MIGO because this is service vendor and when we release the service sheet then automatically MIGO entry will post.
So, in the above 3 transactions ( MM ), Any where I did not mentioned the Service tax recv and Education cess recv GL accounts manually.
Our client is following the CIN u2013 TAX INN procedure.
Account keys u2013 ESA and ESE are updating in the above transaction.
I checked the following T. Codes for automatic assignment of GL accounts to the Tax Code.
1. OBYC
2. OB40
3. OBQ3
4. FTXP
5. FV 11 & 12 & 13
6. OKB9
7. Validations and Substitutions
8. User Exists
9. spro u2013 Logistics general u2013 Tax on goods movement u2013 India u2013
10. FBKP
11. OB28, OBBH , OBCN , GGB0, GBB1 , GBX2.3
So, In all the above T. Codes I did not find any assignment of GL Accounts to the above said Tax Code u2013 S6.
Now problem is My client is saying that the 2 GL accounts i.e. Service tax recv and Education cess recv GL accounts should not effect when they use Tax Code S6.
I am not able to find where these GL accounts are assigned to the Tax Code u2013 S6.
SO , KINDLY EXPLAIN ME WHERE THESE 2 GL ACCOUNTS ARE ASSIGNED TO THE TAX CODE .
Its very urgent, looking forward for an early and positive reply.

Copy Master Datas in FICo from 1 Company Code to Another --- Very Urgent

I want to copy all the FI & CO master Data like G/L a/cs , Vendor Master, Customer Master, Cost Centers, Cost Elements, Commitment Items, Funds Center & Assets from one company code to another company code. Both the company codes will have same Chart of accounts. Is there any t.Code by which i can just extend these masters to my company code. Plz help. its very Urgent.

In customization, Assign Chart of A/cs to company code there u will get the path for copying one company code to another company GL Masters.
And also the CCtrs u already assign to the first company code. Once u copy the data for one company to another automatically it will copy to another company code.

Its very urgent to know,for a particular load IDOCs used to run to process the data&dialogs,in 3.5 we used to get the IDOCs list in RSMO screen itself,but in 7.0 is not having that options,please tell me for a particular load where we can find list of IDOCs?

Transact RFC error
tRFC Error - status running Yellow for long time (Transact RFC will be enabled in Status tab in RSMO).
Step 1: Goto Details, Status get the IDoc number,and go to BD87 in R/3,place the cursor in the RED IDoc entroes in tRFC
queue thats under outbound processing and click on display the IDOC which is on the menu bar.
Step 2: In the next screen click on Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call)
place the cursor on the particular Transaction ID and go to EDIT in the menu bar --> press 'Execute LUW'
(Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call) ---> select the TrasnID ---> EDIT ---> Execute LUW)
Rather than going to SM58 and executing LUW directly it is safer to go through BD87 giving the IDOC name as it will take you
to the particular TRFC request for that Idoc.
OR
Go into the JOB Overview of the Load there you should be able to find the Data Package ID.
(For this in RSMO Screen> Environment> there is a option for Job overview.)
This Data Package TID is Transaction ID in SM58.
OR
SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute.It will show you all the pending TRFC with
Transaction ID.
In the Status Text column you can see two status
Transation Recorded and Transaction Executing
Don't disturb, if the status is second one Transaction Executing. If the status is first one (Transation Recorded) manually
execute the "Execute LUWs"
OR
Directly go to SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute. It will show TRFCs to be executed
for that user. Find the particular TRFC (SM37 > Req name > TID from data packet with sysfail).select the TrasnID (SM58) --->
EDIT ---> Execute LUW
Also
Check Note 561880 - Requests hang because IDocs are not processed.

Capex budget using Internal Oder - very urgent

My requirement is to use statistical internal order to control the capex budget. I have created stat order , activated commitment management, availability control. and assigned order number in asster master.
But the problem is when creating purchase requisition the system should be a warning or information as per the availability control . to do this what should i do ?

I want to do the aquisition of fixest asset using PR-PO-MIGO-MIRO . The system should react as per the available budget by giving warning / error at the time of PR itself. one more thing is i need not give order nuber in PR or PO as suggested by Murali . The system deriving IO number from the Asset master.
Now its working perfectly .
Now i found the reason for not working earlier .
I have done all the settings relating to Order type, Budget Profile , Availability Control every thing .
I have not done the following setting in the asset module :
In order for you to be able to makes this automatic statistical posting, all of the following must apply:
The acquisition transaction types in Asset Accounting have to be designated as relevant to the budget.
The APC asset balance sheet accounts have to be defined as statistical cost elements.
The APC asset balance sheet accounts have to have a field status definition that allows additional account assignment to orders or WBS elements.
I have rectified the above now . I hope this will help others who have the same requirement
