Customize Approval Form to add custom fields using SharePoint Designer

Hi,
i have a created a Custom approval workflow using SharePoint Designer 2010. This is two steps approval WF, All i did put the variable "CancelonRejection" Value "Yes" and one Approval action with 2 different users as Serial. Right now
Status, Requested by, Consolidated comments and comment fields are available on the approval form. Now i want to add some fields with radio buttons on Approval Form, so that 1st approver can select those radio/check box. Once 1st approver will approved this
then display all the values on 2nd approver approval from or send email to 2nd approver along with all the information from 1st approver.
Thanks in advanced!

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to customize Approval Form to add custom fields using SharePoint Designer.
In the SharePoint Designer, you can customize the task form.
Here is a great article for your reference:
Creating Custom Workflow Task Approval Forms with SharePoint Designer 2010
However, every task can only have one task form.
That is to say, the two approvors will have the same task form.
As a workaround, I recommend to customzie the task form using InfoPath.
You can create different view for the approvors.
You need to add form load rules to swich views based on the approvors.

  • How to send emails to Multiple Users from a Single People Picker lookup field using Sharepoint designer workflow

    Hi All,
    I am working with SharePoint 2013 designer workflow. we are using office 365.
    Our requirement to send email to multiple users, get the user groups from lookup list people and groups column.
    But SP designer sending emails to the first user alone.
    Please guide me to proceed.
    Advance Thanks.
    Regards
    Jenkins NS
    Thanks and Regards Jenkins

    finally I got a solution
     Identified a workaround to solve the issue using SharePoint designer.
    Step 1
    Create a lookup list Example department
    Columns
    Title (by default) – Single line of text
    Users – Person or Group
    Emails – Multiple lines of text
    hidden the Emails column (go to content type and set the column as hidden)
    Create a SharePoint designer Workflow
    Start Workflow automatically when an item is created
    Also Start Workflow automatically when an item is changed
    Workflow Stage 1
    Set Emails to current Item: Users
    The workflow will get all users email ids and add in the Emails column delimiter as semicolon.
    Step 2
    Create a custom list to get the email ids and send email
    Create a lookup column ex: analysis and refer department list, Allow multiple values
    Then Create a SharePoint designer workflow
    full details workflow steps please follow below

  • Create Custom list form and validate fields using sharepoint designer 2010

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement to create a custom job application form which will be filled and submitted by anonymous users. I have a an option to create custom user control web part but I wanted to
    create it using custom list form using SharePoint designer. My requirement is below
    Date of birth (user age should be above 22yrs )
    Email Validation
    Phone validation
    Resume attachment (should attach only word documents or PDF)
    Qualification (If other is selected then show textbox else hide)
    Can above validations be done using SharePoint designer (JavaScript or validation controls)? Or do I have to create custom control web part?
    MercuryMan

    Hello,
    I think jquery/javascript can be used to put validations on those fields. Fortunately some of validation can be done via sharepoint itself like: email, phone, age. For Attachment and Qualification fields use jquery/JS.
    See below link for column validations:
    http://thechriskent.com/2012/08/15/validate-phone-number-columns-in-sharepoint/

  • How to set Mandatory Choice field while Creating Custom Task using Sharepoint Designer 2007

    Hi,
    I am new to Sharepoint development.I dont know whether i am posting  the question in Correct place.Kindly redirect me to the correct place if i am posting it in wrong place.
    I  created a custom task in Sharepoint Designer 2007 using
    Collect Data from User
    Action.
    I created a field in the task form which is of choice type and
    unchecked allow blank values
    because i  wanted that field to be a mandatory field.When i handled that task ,i was able to complete that task
    without selecting that mandatory field.But, I was expecting not to allow me to complete the task without selecting that field. Kindly  tell me how to set the choice field as mandatory.

    Hi,
    You are using SharePoint Designer 2007, so I moved the thread to the appropriate forum for MOSS 2007.
    This is by design that
    Workflow-generated form (for action Collect data from User) does not perform validation properly on drop-down choices, the workaround is to use JavaScript to perform the field validation.
    This thread has the JavaScript code can help you:

  • Add customer fields using BBP_CUF_BADI

    Hi,
    I am trying to add my own subscreen to PO Item screen.
    In order to do that I created a Function Group and assigned my screen to it. the screen contains a push button.
    In order to display my screen at the PO item I used the
    PUT_DATA method of badi BBP_CUF_BADI to export to the standard program the name of my function group and the number of the screen via the EV_REPID and EV_DYNNR export parameters of the method.
    What I need to do next in order to display my screen;
    Do I need to create an HTML template or set some other parameters?
    The system is working on the Extended Classical Scenario.
    Thanks for your help,
    Eyal.

  • Add Custom Field not to all Incidents but in specific IR,SR template

    Hello, Dear Colleagues.
    With this manual:
    Adding a Custom Property to a Form – Support Group Property for Problem Form Example, I have added similarly custom field List Picker to Incident Form.
    But now this custom field is default field for all new incident. How can I add custom field just in specific incident request or service offering (for example, Printer Repair service offering for Self-Service portal).
    Thanks.
    Have a nice day.

    You're certainly on the right track, this comes down to TypeProjections -
    something you'll absolutely want to start getting familiar with. I was about to start typing a quick post when I found a related said post exists out on the interwebs (https://dynamicdatacenter.wordpress.com/2012/10/03/add-custom-service-request-forms-in-servicemanager2012/).
    So, you can do it manually or you can create a relationship and this XML gets built for you. It certainly makes it a bit easier in terms of XML hacking when you're getting started too (i.e. copying and pasting the relationships)
    That said, I built a version of your management pack including a relationship (Configuration Item -> Printers) so you can get back to building and spend less time troubleshooting some of these quirks. You can copy and paste the following to an XML file,
    seal it to make it an MP and then bundle to a MPB with the ServiceRequestForm dll.
    <ManagementPack ContentReadable="true" SchemaVersion="2.0" OriginalSchemaVersion="1.1" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">

  • Add two attachment field in custom list through sharepoint designer 2013

    Hi all,
    I want to add two attachment columns to the SharePoint 2013 custom list through SharePoint Designer 2013 (not using ribbon attachment option) only . I managed to attach single attachment column to the attachment field. But I am not able to create second
    field for attachment.
    for example, one column for attaching address proof and second column for identity proof.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Out of the box this simply isn't going to be possible the way you seem to want it. The attachment field does allow for multiple attachment, but I can see why you'd potentially want these separated out.
    Alternative:
    You could instead create a link field for each. Users load the documents into a document library and then copy the URL to paste into the form. If you potentially need multiple attachments for each, you can use an InfoPath form and a repeating table.

  • Add Custom fields in Report Incident Screen in EHSM

    Hello experts,
    I want to add custom fields like Notification No. and division in Report Incident screen in EHSM.
    I have added two fields.
    Business Object: EHHSS_INCIDENT
    Node: BASIC_INFO_ALL
    Structure: INCL_EEW_EHHSS_INC_BINFA_D (added two fields using append structure)
    Now how can i link with my screen and how to fetch notification data (standard F4 help)?
    and when i save data, where it will save?
    Can you guide me with proper steps for it as i am new in it.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jayvin,
    To add the above fields on the screen, open the component configuration of the required screen.
    Enhance the same and add the fields from the respective Node.
    You did not worry about saving the data, once the fields are placed on the screen it will get save on click of save/ on event of save.
    Regards,
    Sanket.

  • How to register User custom field using PHP?

    Hi!
    I am looking for a way to share user specific data between connected users. For example, all participants should know each other IDs(our own system IDs, not LCCS).
    User's custom fields looks the best solution for this, but I can't find a way to register one using PHP, while creating room.
    How to register User's  custom field using PHP? Or may be there are better solution to make such things?

    Got it, just need to add new node to UserManager collection.
    const USER_MANAGER_COLLECTION = 'UserManager';
    static private $USER_MANAGER_CUSTOM_FIELD_CONFIGURATION = array(
       'accessModel'=>self::ROLE_VIEWER,
       'publishModel'=>self::ROLE_VIEWER,
       'persistItems'=>true,
       'modifyAnyItem'=>false,
       'userDependentItems'=>true,
       'sessionDependentItems'=>false,
       'itemStorageScheme'=>self::STORAGE_SCHEME_MANUAL,
       'allowPrivateMessages'=>true,
       'lazySubscription'=>false,
       'p2pDataMessaging'=>false
    const USER_INVITE_ID_CUSTOM_FIELD = 'inviteId';
    static private function createUserManagerCustomFields($room){
       $account = self::init();
       $collection = self::USER_MANAGER_COLLECTION;
       $account->subscribeCollection($room, $collection);
       $account->createNode($room, $collection, self::USER_INVITE_ID_CUSTOM_FIELD, self::$USER_MANAGER_CUSTOM_FIELD_CONFIGURATION);

  • How we can add custom field in standard report 2kee.

    Hi,
    How we can add custom field in standard report 2kee.
    I need one extra field to add in 2kee report for the same is there any customization req.
    Regards
    Ravi

    Ravi,
    Which extra field do you want to add or see?  Without specifying the field, it is difficult for one to tell you precisely whether you need a custom field or just change the layout to get the standard one.
    There are so many fields which exists but are not displayed when you execute 2KEE. You need to change the layout selections to your preference.
    Nonetheless, if the field you want to add does not already exist, then yes you can do customization.  Is there a customization requirement? No. But remember, you are making changes to SAP Standard program which will no longer be supported by SAP should in the case an issue arise in the future related to this very program.
    Have your abaper add the said field in the program or why not just create a query to pull the report?

    Hi Susmita
    You can add the fields to the customer includes
      CI_FKKOP
      CI_FKKKO
    To create/update the customer fields in automated processes you can use the standard SAP BAPI:
      BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE
      BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CHANGE
    Check out the import table EXTENSIONIN with structure BAPIPAREX.
    To add the fields to the standard SAP transactions, have a look in IMG under
    Financial Accounting
      Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable
        Basic Functions
          Posting and Documents
            Document
              Screen Preparations
