Customizing Standard Javadoc Doclet

I am currently experiencing problems extending the Standard Doclet and
getting the desired output that I want. I have created a custom
implementation of RootDoc creating the correct program structure for my
SDK documentation filtering out classes and methods that I do not want
to see. However when I extend com.sun.tools.doclets.standard.Standard
and implement the run method the final output is showing classes and
methods that do not live in my RootDoc. How is this possible? Is the
Standard doc using introspection to ignore my filtered RootDoc and find
all methods and classes? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Most of the Consultants will do the following mistak.
They simply create transformations in BI 7 in between InfoSource/DataSource to InfoCube, and they didn't even think about the standard functionalities of the Routines in between InfoSource and InfoCube.
First create Update rules i.e. BW 3.5 flow, then check you can find lots of routines in Update rules, so check all routines in update rules then migrate it to BI 7 flow and use, this is my personal experience. Chekc each and every maping there are some wrong mappings in standard BC, so see teh following SAP Notes an dcorrect it.

Customer Standard page is behaving differently in two different instances Y

HI Guru's,
I am querying the data in one Customer standard page in support6 instance for eg: 27868 is a Acccount Number we are searching for this and we are getting the Data in this instance here the thing is the Account is Inactive and we can view even Inactive customers in this.
Now we are seraching for the Customer Number(Acct. Number) same : 27868 in Support 3 instance now here the magic thing i found is i am unable to get the Data in this intance here this one also in backend it is Inactive Customer and this is also a Standard page there is no customization for this.
Why these two instances are behaving like this if i search for a Same Account Number in Customer search page its a oracle standard page there is no customization.
Support 6 -- Is Multi node having 2 nodes
Support 3 -- Is Multi node having 3 nodes .
Previously we have perform one customization we have changed the query in both the instances same query then also it is behaving like previous one, So we plan to remove the complete customization to both of the instances and tried so we are facing this Issue.
Note : Support 6 having some Oracle Patches is different from Support 3 Patches means some patches is not applied in Support 3 instances.
So, is there any issue of those patches and these are not OAF Patches its some Apps Patches.
Please it's a High Priority issue for me so OAF Guru's update me your valuable answers to me so that i can check out why it is behaving like this.

Next i have run jdr_utils.printdocument also in all the instances so i got these output
Error: Could not find document /oracle/apps/ar/hz/components/search/server/customizations/site/0/HzPuiDQMSrchResultsVO
Error: Could not find document /oracle/apps/ar/hz/components/search/webui/customizations/site/0/HzPuiDQMSearchResults
in all the instances same , so now its a standard functionality right because i have reverted back my customizations.
i have these two scripts because 1. this is for Vo substitution removed and 2. this is for two new attributes that i added before that was removed.
Even i have checked the "About this page" link and then we tried to see the query and we got the standrad query only.
Yes DBA bounced all the 3 nodes for Support 3 and in Support 6 also he bounced 2 nodes.
The Database has only 1 common node and 1 $java_Top which is shared for all the 3 nodes for support 3 instance and for Support 6 instance that is diffrent $Java_Top .

Audit and Standard Javadoc applied to all Jdeveloper project java classes

Hi,
I want to apply standard Javadoc to all the java classes I have written. Is there a quick way of doing it in 11.1.1.3
I have already done the following but the code editor rules are not getting enforced.
1) Go to 'Tools' and then choose 'Preferences
2) Go to the 'Code Editor' and under it 'Java' and then 'Javadoc'
3) Select all the tags like @author @version @param etc and modify the Tag properties to be required and then click OK
4) Next I create a new Java class but the code editor rules are not enforced.
Questions:
a) How to enforce the code editor preferences?
b) How to automatically generate the missing javadocs in the existing classes in Jdeveloper?
c) How to audit and setup a coding standard, so that it's easier to monitor what everybody in the project does and adheres to the coding guidelines.
Bottomline - Are these possible in JDeveloper 11.1.1.3

Have a look at the JDeveloper code audit feature.
Under tools->preferences->audit->profiles
You can either modify or add a new profile and check the JavaDoc Comments rules.
You can switch the Missing Comment rule to have a more serious severity.
Then you can audit your file (or the complete project).
In the audit window you'll see an option to automatically fix error that the Audit flagged - this can include adding the missing Javadoc.

11i Customer - Standard Form : display the bill_to adresses first

I'm using Oracle eBS standard Customer -> Standard form
I would like a mean to display bill_to address first in this form because we have some big customers with many addresses ...
Procedure:
Choose AR - Admin responsibility
Menu : Customers -> Standard (Form Name : ARXCUDCI)
Query a customer by its number or any other criteria -> use the "Find" button
A list of places are displayed in the window named "Match Results (Organization) ..."
-> In this window I would like to have the bill_to address first (even the principal one if possible)
I'm able to set up Forms Perso code but not to modify the standard screen
Any help is welcome,

Do you have any idea how to disable a push button using forms personalization?
For some resp, I have to take out the privilege to create new customer.

Opening Customer Standard Form to the Address Level

Hello All,
I am trying to either use/create an oracle function in order to open the customer standard form to the address level from another form in 11.5.10. i know I can do something like this:
FND_FUNCTION.EXECUTE( 'AR_ARXCUDCI_STD'
, 'Y'
, 'Y'
, 'CUSTOMER_ID='||<VARIABLE THAT IS THE CUSTOMER ID>);
But this opens the form to the main section of the form. What I want is to open the customer form to the address level which is one level down.
I have tried messing with the function statement above by trying different parameters with no success.
I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what parameters to enter in order to achieve this or if they know of a form in 11.5.10 that does this then I can find how they did it from that.

Set up Oracle Customer Standard (R12) in JDeveloper

We need to add some extensions to the Customer Standard > Site Details OAF screen. I am trying to get it up and running on my local client PC in JDeveloper but i am missing the parameters needed to launch it directly. I can launch the Customer Standard > Search form, search for a user, and click on the results to get to the customer overview screen. When I click on a specific address details icon I get an error so I'm hoping to jump direct to the site details screen if possible.

Set up Oracle Customer Standard (R12) in JDeveloper. Rebuild and run the oracle.apps.ar.cusstd.srch.webui.ArPrtySrchPG.xml. Search for a user (person). Select the user to go to the overview screen. Scroll down and click a details link for an address. The following error is displayed.

I can't seem to move/change the order of songs within my customized standard playlist.

Somehow the order of songs in my customized Standard Playlist is locked. iTunes won't let me change the order. Is there some Preference or default that makes them locked into position? The playlists created by iTunes allows me to drag songs up or down but my Playlist won't.

If shuffle is selected on for the playlst, you won't be able to re-order the songs. Turn shuffle off and try again.

Customizing standard ESS Leave Request Application

We are using standard ESS Leave Request application in our project. I need to set a default value to " Type of Leave" to some value say "Vacation".
Anyone kindly let me know is it possible to set some default values in SAP standard applications and how can we do that.

Customer Standard Order was delivered with credit status not approved and blocked.

3 orders were delivered without credit limit and now the credit limit is exceed in more than 250%,
We have checked the settings in OVAK and the assignment is correctly set as D and 01. This is an issue with a high risk customer with static check in OVA8 transaction.
Please advice.

The Customer Standard Order was delivered with the credit status not approved and blocked.
If the sales order is blocked system can not allow you to create delivery with out approving it.
3 orders were delivered without credit limit and now the credit limit is exceed in more than 250%
There could be reason that in FD32 for the payer customer the risk category might not have been assigned during those 3 sales orders creation. Also one more reason in OVA8 against the Static credit check if open order field is not ticked.
Please let me understand what is your exact issue currently?

Getting a error while deleting a personalized column in customer standard page.

I have added a column through personalization in standard customer page.
The personalization was working fine in the standard pag and I can able to see the column in the account section.
But when I deleted the column which I had added through personalization, the page get error out.

Need help with customizing standard reports in Fusion Applications

   I have requirement to customize 'Asset Transfer Report' in Oracle Fusion.
   This report is a BI Publisher report and Data Model lies in folder '/Share Folders/Financials/Fixed Assets/Tracking/Data Model' and report lies in folder '/Share Folders/Financials/Fixed Assets/Tracking'.
    Steps which i have completed
   I am trying to customize this report, i followed the below steps
Step 1:-
   Copied Data Model into '/Shared Folder/Custom/Financials/Fixed Assets/Tracking/Data Model' and report into '/Shared Folder/Custom/Financials/Fixed Assets/Tracking/'

    This is the first time i am working with the BI Publisher reports and fusion applications.
    My requirement is to add few columns to the standard report with out loosing the functionality.
    I was not aware that there is two ways of doing this, i was always copying data model and report to a new folder and trying to create a new job for the report.
    As mentioned in the document 7.2.1.4 Using the Customize Feature    , i clicked on the more button on my report but i do not see the customize option. Do i need to have any specific role for this to appear in the menu? Please kindly let me know.
    Also i see below limitations while customizing report
Limitations
Following are limitations of the Customize report option:
The Customize option is only available through direct access to the BI Publisher server using the /xmlpserver URL (for example:http://hostname.com:7001/xmlpserver). The Customize option is not available through the /analytics URL used to access Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.
The Customize option is available only for reports. The Customize option is not available for data models, style templates, or sub templates.To customize data models, style templates or sub templates and insulate them from potential changes from patching: Make a copy of the data model, style template, or sub-template and either rename it or place it in a custom folder. Ensure that you update any reports to point to the customized data model, style template, or sub template.
    My requirement is to add few additional columns which needs Data Model to be modified, Can i copy the data model to the custom folder and do my modifications and point this data model in the report(as mentioned in the point 2 in the limitations)? In that case, will the original report submission works?

Check for the other versions of the ANSXI12 856 messages which may fulfill your requirement..
if the newer version also does not support your requirement then you need to change the XSD of the message versions which you wanted to..
After the XSD has been changed then need to generate the mappings in BIS mapping tool ...which generates the mapping
which needs to be deployed in to the PI server..

Error in WF Customizing, Standard task TS00008267 does not exist

Hi Experts,
I need your help with the Workflow Customizing (SWU3). After doing the automatic customizing, I am getting an error "Workflow: No workflow definition found" when I try to start the Verification Workflow. So I decided to execute each component in SWU3 and I found out that when I execute "Classify Decision Task as General", (though it is checked/green), it says that "Object TS 00008267 does not exist".
I checked in tcode PFTC that the task is really missing in our Development server, though they exist in QA and production.
What should I do to get this fixed? I really don't have any idea. Should I apply a patch, install something, or create TS00008267? I can't find anything on the net that solves this problem.

If you find that all tasks are missing and not just TS00008267 then it is most likely an authorisation issue. Run transaction
SU53 to see what authorisation objects your user is missing. It is related to Org Management authorisations.
If you have to transport it try transaction SE01 (Transport Organiser) it is possible to transport from system to system. Just click on Create button and then select 'Transport of copies'. Then just enter you target system and save. You can then add the
objects you wish to transport to your Target system.
Example:=============================
R3TR PDTS 00008267
In SE01, click Create => Transport of copies
=> Name the request and save
=> Click 'Include Objects' button and choose 'Freely selected
objects'.
=>Enter the Development class SWD and click 'Selected
Objects'. F4 at the bottom of the list (Under the DTEL
entry) and select the entry "R3TR PDTS" and click OK.
Now enter the task ID 00008267 in the dialog box
opposite it and click the checkbox (See attached screen
shot) and then click the Execute button.
=> Expland the list and goto the task
=> Select 00008267 and click the "Save In Request"
button.
You can do this with any standard tasks you want to transport to your system.

Customizing Standard Transaction MSC2N

Hello folks,
                We need to add a new field in the Basic Data tab of the transaction MSC2N.
                As we couldn't find any suitable screen exit to do so, we are decided to create a copy of standard transaction and customize it.
                My question is what is the best way to copy MSC2N to ZMSC2N and what are the things need to take care while doing so, as it should not
                affect any standard behavior of SAP.

Hi,
go to customizing:
Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Reporting -> Scope of List -> Define Scope of List and create your own scope of list.
In ME2N fill in the new scope in list in the 3rd field from the top.
