Customizing the "US Gross To Net Summary" report
Hi,
I want to customize "US Gross To Net Summary" report. I could not find the design time file for the report. Where can I find it and how can I customize it if I want to? I want to change the group by clause of the main query.
Appreciate your suggestions and thank you in advance.

The report is spawned from PYUGEN. What you could do is create a new cuncurrent request a copy from the "US Gross To Net Summary" and experiment with the parameters passed to PYUGEN.

Hi Al,l we have a requirment to have a layout with some of the fields from
Third Party Balance Summary Report( Which is a Java type executable and
Data definition has Data Template attached(.xml)).
I tried in below way.
Coppied the Third Party Balance Summary Report program with same application and parameters
with. Then defined a Datadefinition with my concurrent prog short name
attached the same standard .xml file(Not sure what it is) and developed a custom template with
a custom rtf(excel output type), and submitted the program
the output is generated in excel but my custom .rtf layout is not getting applied
rather it is showing same layout as in standard.
Some thing I am missing here or else it is not the way of changing the
template.
If any one know how to do this please let me know.
My client want only some files from the standard report(no need of new fileds)
with output type xls.

The same content is posted in Custom Template for Third Party Balance Summary Report(Java type executable sorry for duplicating the thread, just for increase the visibility for my issue I did this.I gave up on using a different font or figuring out if I could use Times New Roman's built-in fractions visible in Font Book (as unicodes) and did a work-around based on Michael Wasley's tips in this discussion.

I adapted it however and think it looks a little better.
Font: Times New Roman 12 point
I used the fraction bar in 12-point (Shift-Option-1) for automatic kerning.
For the numerator, I changed the font style to superior (12-point).
For the denominator, I changed the font style to subscript (Shift-Command-hyphen) and reduced the font size to half, or 6-point using the short-cut Shift-Command-<.
When the fractions occured in my footnotes (9-point), I used 4-point in the denominator; 10- and 11-point, I used 5-point in the denominator. This seemed to produce the best result when printing.

1) where i can get the Planned Cost, Planned Revenue, Contribution Margin,Gross amrgin & Net Margin.

3) Where can i activate the "WRITE Planned Values" For the WBS, in order to know the changes donr in the cost planning.

2 depends on where you have assigned the customer code - if user fields then you use structural reports like CN41 etc
if you have created the partner function then you have to run seperate reports
3 write plan values is a business transaction and can be activated by using a user status to influence (allow) this business function to happen -

Hi ,
Did anybody have an experience of a customized invoice report that needs to show invoice summary amounts in all pages if the invoice has more than one page? My company requires that the summary amounts have to be at the bottom of each page.
I created three repeating frames (A, B1 and B2). A is the invoice line group. B1 and B2 are in the same group of invoice header. B1 is the invoice customer information and B2 is the invoice summary information. In this case, I can force B2 stay at the bottom.
The invoice report will be fine if only one invoice is printed (the summary amounts will show up at all pages if the invoice page is more than one). But the problem will appear if a user tries to print mutiple invoices at the same time, i.e., run report in range. The summary amounts in the first invoice will be carried to all other invoices, which means that the summary amounts do not reset at invoice level.

The invoice will print the summary amounts at all pages when a user prints one invoice at a time. The summary amounts will not display correctly if muitlple invoices are printed at the same time (I have parameters of invoice_number_low and invoice_number_high that allows users to print invoices in range). The summary amounts in the first invoice will be carried to other invoices, which are not correct.

Allright guys. I appreciate the quick responses. I've worked a lot in CR however i am not understanding the solution so I'd appreciate if you can dumb it down for me. If i understand it correctly you guys are suggesting to make a formula, that either return my group by string (which is a formula in my report) or the Quantity. I tried writing a formula like this

but it seems like CR does not allow you to return 2 different data types. Even if it had worked i would not know what to do from there. Can anyone please dumb it down for me. To make my situation more clear below is an example of how my data is..

when the data shows in the report, its grouped by state, so it comes out like

I want the users to decide whether they want it sorted by state (ascending)

Summary report to show all the software components and version installed
We are using 64bit Windows 2003 and Hyperion Planning and Essbase in 2 separate servers. I am not sure whether Windows can have a summary report to show all the software components and version installed and show it is 32bit or 64bit version installed?

How can I view free-response text answers in the Summary Report of FormsCentral?
Can we view full individual free-responses in the Summary Report of FormsCentral?
One of the only things that keeps me using Survey Monkey occasionally over FormsCentral is that I can't find a way for FormsCentral to show users' free-response answers in the Summary Report. Survey Monkey produces all the customizable charts and graphs and also provides a "Show Free Reponses" or "Show all responses" option so you can view/report those details under the question summary, as well as the numbers. I would prefer to use FormsCentral for everything, so I hope I'm not missing something obvious. But, if this functionality doesn't exist yet on FormsCentral, this would be a really helpful enhancement in the future.

Your observation is correct, the text responses are not shown as text in the Summary Report.

How do I get the Questions to show in the 'View Responses' TAB, and then show up in the Summary Report?
There are more than one Applications folders. At the root level of your system is an Applications folder for all users, where most installations go. Every user, including you, also has a separat Applications folder.
Check all of them. -
How do I restore a chart I deleted from the Summary Report?
I inadvertently deleted a question from the Summary Report by clicking the little trash can icon and I'd like to get it back. To clarify: the question is still there on the form; I'm just looking to restore the chart on the report.

I realise I could simply recreate the Smart Search folder, but as indicated - I'm having difficulty recreating the exact same results - it had several conditions to it, and I'm not having much luck with repeating the effect. My summary report did not transfer the caption titles from the survey
In the summary report tab none of the data is labeled with the survey question.

The Summary Report is pulling an incorrect question?
I used a previous survey to construct a new one and the Summary Report is pulling in a question from the old survey and that question was changed for the new survey. I deleted the incorrect question from the Summary Report but now the correct question is still not being pulled into the report. Does anyone have any insight on what to do?

You can do the following to add the missing Summary Report tile:
1. Open the Summary Report tab
2. Click on the "Insert" menu in the main menubar
3. Click on the "Individual report tiles" menuitem then select the new question from the menu

Hi is there a way to do a host summary report that gives me a list of all of the hosts and their current status.
I know I can run a detail report but this gives me pages and pages of information, and I can run a management report (host count) which is great.
But... What I would like is a one page report that provides me with the host name description and if the are active or not. Similar to the information contained on the system/host screen on CSA.

Probably the easiest way to get a report with just these 3 data fields would be to query the database directly. Otherwise you could use the API and parse the output for those fields:

If you are looking for this report just to find which hosts are not active the I would recommend using the host search with your criteria.

Creating custom summary reports
Using a 360 feedback performance review template, I received over 300 responses with feedback on about 70 employees. I would like to create a summary report for each employee that collates the information received from survey respondents.
So, for example, if one person has 3 reviews, I want to collate into a report - one for each person that consolidates all the information & comments received.Hi,

FormsCentral does not support customization of the summary report as you mentioned above.
You could export the responses to say, Excel, and then use Excel to edit/rearrange your data and generate the graph/report.
