CWS logging in 4.5WS

Question

Hello all,
does anyone know if logging through CWSLogger is supported in Plumtree 4.5WS + EDK 5.0.2 using VB.NET?
When we use the ICrawlerLog.log(message) method nothing is written on the job log. We don't get any error either.
The same seems to happen using Java.
Any ideas?

We have tried to use the sample in Crawler_HelloWorld45-Java.zip unmodified.
It works, but nothing in logged even if logging is performed from the ContainerProvider:
public class ContainerProvider implements IContainerProvider
private ICrawlerLog m_logger;
     public void initialize(
          DataSourceInfo dataInfo,
          CrawlerInfo crawlerInfo,
          ICrawlerLog logger)
          throws ServiceException
          // do nothing with DataSourceInfo or Crawler info, as we made blank sci pages
          //save the logger to log methods
          this.m_logger = logger;
          m_logger.Log("ContainerProvider.initialiize- save the logger");
please let me know where the trick is.
