Daily Allowance - Cloud for Travel

Hi all, sorry if I keep asking questions and hope it also helps to other customers who are deploying the solution.
Do you know if is it possible to calculate the allowance per trip instead of on a daily basis? Let me explain myself, if I have a trip of 2 days to Houston and my daily allowance is USD 100, theoretically I should expend 100 or less each day. But, what if I expend 50 the first day and 150 the second day, the average is 100 and it should be fine.
Is it possible? Is there any available configuration to do it in that way?
Many thanks and best regards,

Thanks Angela for the suggestion.
Just minutes ago however, I solved the problem. I went into the Apple store and there was an app updated.  So I ran the update and now all is well.  I'm accessing the expense reports as before.

  • Regional Language settings - Cloud for Travel

In the employee replication, preferences for example, logon languages =EN, is automatically set as English.
However, when user is created as a business user, in the regional settings of the same user, the language is automatically set as Japanese. Same for the rest of the regional settings.
Q: Where do we set this default regional settings (language, date format, decimal format etc) for all employees as per replication request, otherthan individual user personalization in the system?

    Hey Harsh,
can you please review the thread : http://scn.sap.com/thread/3631942
Please see the comments from myself as well as Michel Roth to better understand the logic behind regional setting derivation.
Hope that helps. (Discussion was for the Bydesign system but I feel the same should apply to Cloud for travel as well.)

    Hi,
    24hour interval ?
Depends on company requirement , 24 hours interval means system shall calculate per diem on travel start time to 24 hours instead of calendar days which means start of trip time and calculate with working days..
    No day scaling ?
Day scaling according to method 1 ?
Day scaling according to method 2 ?
    following is help
Day Scaling for Reimbursement by Number of Trip Hours
Meals per diems can be scaled according to the number of trip days.
    Example:
From the eighth trip day on, a higher meals per diem is to be paid to the traveling employee.
Day scaling of meals per diems is, however, only possible for amounts calculated from view V_T706V. (Valuation of trip duration according to number of hours, see 'Valuation of trip duration')
Day scaling is enabled by setting the 'Number of trip days' field (ANZTA) for reading view V_T706V.
    You have the following options:
    1. Without day scaling
The 'Number of days' field is set with the total duration of the trip in days.
    2. Day scaling according to method 1
To scale reading within the trip, the 'Number of days' field is
set as follows to read view V_T706V:
    1           one-day trip
    1           several-day trip, first day
    2           several-day trip, second day
Trip days-1 several-day trip, next to last day
Trip days   several-day trip, last day
    3. Day scaling according to method 2
To scale reading within the trip, the 'Number of days' field is set
as follows to read view V_ T706V:
    1           one-day trip
    2           several-day trip, first day
    2           several-day trip, second day
Trip days-1 several-day trip, next to last day
Trip days   several-day trip, last day
    Note:
If no entry is found in view V_T706V to set the number of days, the next higher is searched for.
And could you explain with an eg for While scaling hours in "Scale Per Diems for Meals by Hours", Selection interval start date must be less than to start date of "Define Per Diems for Meals Per Day" (24 Hours)"
For example You have define Define Per Diems for Meals Per Day in which you have given Validity dates..
    Amount = USD $100
    Valid from 01-01-2010 to 31-12-9999
then you have to set calculation guideline as discussed earlier...
then during scaling , there are two selection interval dates
selection interval dates 01-01-2000 to 31-12-9999
Selection interval dates shall be greater (or equal to ) then Validity dates...
    Hope would help you..

  • Creative cloud applications won't open on additional machine - iMac 10.9.4 - Creative cloud for teams - a work colleague has the same issue on his home machine. Applications work fine at work.

These problems are happening on my iMac at home. I can log into Creative Cloud no problem, however as soon as I try and open an application, whether it's an old version or CC 2014, Adobe Application Manager opens and tells me that membership has expired and prompts me to 'try again'. Clicking this button results in a new pop up that thanks me and tells me that my subscription is now active. However as soon as I click 'continue' the process begins again, the application closes, a pop tells me that membership has expired etc.
I can login and view my Creative cloud for teams account online and everything seems to be in order and the applications open without incident at work, another colleague at my work has the same problem with his CC applications at home.
I've tried uninstalling and the installing all of the applications and CC several times, run all updates etc.
Is this an issue the the Terms and Conditions for CC2014, are we no longer allowed to run applications on 2 machines?
Is there a bug with the latex version of CC? This problems has only recently occurred.
I should add that I've read some of the other posts about login loops and I've tried deleting the opm.db file, it didn't work.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
    Regards
    Pete

There doesn't seem to be an uninstaller for CS3, and I've tried the CC Cleaner tool several times. It doesn't work and it is not correctly documented anywhere. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" as one of the Adobe pages states. For example, there is no log file at "/Users/[user name]/Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log" so I can't find any success or error states of the tool.
There is a log file at "/Users/[me]/Library/Logs/ACC.log." Would there be anything in there that could shine light on install issues vs. uninstall issues?
Regardless, running Cleaner and then attempting to install ACC repeatedly leads to the error "Creative Cloud quit unexpectedly" upon launching it or rebooting (which launches it automatically). I've been trying various things for weeks to no avail yet.

  • Creative Cloud for Teams - second computer will only install as trial version

    Hi there
My company purchased Creative Cloud for Teams. I use a Mac at work and have installed it without any problems there. However at home i use a PC (Windows 7) and i have tried several times to sign into my Creative Cloud account and download programs so i can work at home but each time it will only load the programs as trial versions.
I have tried several troubleshooting options with no luck:
Clicked sign in on the trial window - but it just asks me for a serial number which i obviously dont have.
I asked my work IT dept to delete and resend my seat invitation which they did but it didnt fix the issue.
I asked my work IT dept to check with the reseller we bought Creative Cloud for Teams from whether there were any restrictions or settings which wont allow to install on a second computer but they said it should be fine.
My team mates at work have installed it on their home Macs without a problem, it seems to be only a PC issue.
I have had CS6 on my computer previously but uninstalled it all in case this was causing the conflict - but it didnt fix the CC issue.
I have uninstalled and used the Adobe Cleaner tool, then reinstalled but this didnt work - the trial days still kept counting down.
I uninstalled again, used a Registery cleaning tool (cleaned registery, temp files, browser temp files etc), used the Adobe Cleaner tool (just to make it extra clean), and removed all traces of Adobe from my machine. I reinstalled Creative Cloud Application manager, installed Acrobat to try it out. This time the trial days have gone back to 30 (rather than zero). I clicked on the "sign in" button, it signs me in but still asks for a serial number.
I tried contacting Adobe via the chat channel but was told after some time that i would need to speak to Tech Support. My dealings with Adobe Tech Support in the past haven't been the most fruitful, so i thought i would ask the forum as my last desperate attempt to solve this problem.
    Any and all suggestions welcome.
    Thanks!

  • We have two users that have been using Creative Cloud for almost a year. Recently, sometime in the last 4ish weeks, the users can no longer run Creative Cloud apps. (Yes, our subscription is paid.) Error simply says administrator access is required

We have two users that have been using Creative Cloud for almost a year. Recently, sometime in the last 4ish weeks, the users can no longer run Creative Cloud apps. (Yes, our subscription is paid.) Error simply says administrator access is required to install. The apps have already been installed. The users cannot run them unless they are in the local admin group.Using "Run as admin" does not work. It gives the same error.
I have opened a case with adobe support and was basically told to suck it up and put the users in the admin group. Actually, what was said was that it is "mandated that the users have administrative rights".
There are a couple of things wrong with this. It was working for both users until recently - a recent required creative cloud update. The users have never been local admins yet the apps were working (poorly, but working).
We are in an enterprise environment and users simply do not have administrative rights on the computers.
I have changed permissions on all adobe folders, granting users or authenticated users modify or full control rights, did the same in whatever Adobe registry HKLM keys I could find. Nothing has allowed the users to run the apps - unless they are put in the local admin group.
Someone has to have a fix for this. Adobe apps have proved to have far too many vunerabilities to even entertain the idea of elevating user rights. I can't imagine that enterprise environments are allowing this.
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Jeff,
Thank you for your response. The users in question are "standard" domain users. We do not reduce users permissions below the standard level.
The apps do not load with their current standard user permissions.
The thing that makes this odd, is that up until recently they did this issue with cloud apps. The only way I can make it work for them now is to put them in the local administrator group on their pc's - which is not going to happen.
This is what they now see. As I said before, this was not a problem up until recently they would see all their available apps. If I put them in the local admin group the apps are listed without having to install. Everything is there, just not accessible to the user.

Can I use the same email address for multiple seats in Creative Cloud for Teams?

    No. http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html
Can I buy more than one membership to an individual offering of Creative Cloud?
No, Adobe has moved to identity-based licensing with a technology that will not support multiple same-product licenses, so you can buy only one membership per Adobe ID. If you need two Creative Cloud memberships, you will need to purchase each with a unique Adobe ID. You can also purchase a Creative Cloud for teams membership, which allows you to purchase and manage multiple seats under one account.

  • Creative Cloud for Teams - Trial only Software on Second Machine

I recently purchased Creative Cloud for Teams for my office.  Currently there is only one license, I am the licensed user as well as the Team Administrator.  I may be wrong, but I thought that my license allows for me to install apps on two machines, but any app I try to add to my second machine is always in Trial mode and prompts me to either buy a new Cloud membership or enter a serial number.
I tried deleting myself as the user, re-sending the invitation to join the CC for teams, clicked the link in my email to accept and set up Creative Cloud Desktop on my second machine, made sure I was signed in to the account and tried to download Photoshop, Lightroom, and Muse, but can't get them out of trial mode.  I tried updating the apps, and I also uninstalled them completely, signed out of Creative Cloud, cleaned my browser cache, signed bask in and reinstalled the software, no luck.  I'm still prompted for serial numbers on my second machine.
    Am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks!

Okay, so now I'm back to being able to use CC for Teams on my work machine, but not my home one, even after the billing issue was fixed.  My subscription is active and is paid up to date, but nothing will get rid of the trial mode in all the apps on the second machine.  I'm the administrator for the Team account, we have one license currently and it is assigned to me using the same Adobe ID and password.  I tried removing myself from the license and inviting myself to join CC for Teams again, opened the email on my second machine and accepted the invite, and downloaded the CC desktop app on the second machine... all apps still download as tirals.  Uninstalled CC and all apps, reinstalled, ntohing.  Went back to my work machien, signed out of CC completely, signed in on the second machien.... same thing, all trial software, always prompted for serial numbers even after I sign in.

  • How to Manage Creative Cloud for Teams | Learn Creative Cloud | Adobe TV

This is a short video about how to manage and administer Creative Cloud for teams using a new, intuitive web-based tool called the VIP Admin Console. The Admin Console allows IT administrators to add Creative Cloud seats, assign or re-assign these seats to team members, monitor storage allocation and more. This short video shows you how this is done.

Can I assign more than one seat to a user?
In our studio we have 7 workstations - so far we just had 7 CSs in Volume Licensing. We have licenses assigned to machines rather than people - any of the artists can sit on an available machine and just start working.
What is the equivalent for CC?
Do I create a single Adobe ID for our studio and assign 7 seats to this user and then use it on all machines for installations, or do I have to create 7 Adobe IDs (one per workstation) and assign a single seat to each of them?
