Data missing on vertical scroll with Advanced Data Grid

Hi All,
I have a n issue as stated below.
AdvanceDataGrid with simple rows of text values.
On vertical scroll and move upwards, the some of the values at the top goes blank intermittently.
Have used itemRenderer to populate the values to that particluar column.
To fix this issue, I have tried the fixes as below but its not working:
1) super.data=value.
2) Used validate.now().
Can you please give me a solution to this?

Vertical scrolling with TrackPoint's middle button won't work on MS Word

Question:
I have a T42 ThinkPad and the vertical scrolling with TrackPoint's middle button won't work on MS Word and therefore not in my email either. Big pain in butt as I'm so used to using it. Are there any patches that fix that? Any ideas on why it won't work?

It's really weird. My suggestion would be that you install the most up-to-date driver by direct downloading or via System Update (if you haven't updated the driver).

Partitioning is possible with data(1 lakh records) or with out data

partitioning is possible with data(1 lakh records) or with out data...if with data, its compulsory to stop database..and its not possible to stop, but i want to partitioning my table for increase the performance...what can i do please help me.

"lahk" is not an internationally recognised term. Please use terminology that is recognised internationally.
You could create a table with partitioning, copy your data into it, then drop the original table and rename the new one to the old name (bear in mind any indexes on it), though this isn't ideal if you have primary/foreign keys etc.
Also, ensure you are licenced to use Partitioning. It is installed as part of the database as standard, but you have to have additional licence to actually use it in production.

Create prompt with date-filter and initialize it with current date

I need to create dashboard prompt with date-filter and initialize it with current date. How can I do that?
I tried to create repository initialization block and add variable. But I don't know what should I write to DataSource? I tried to use functions Now(), Current_Date, sysdate (for example, SELECT Now() FROM tbl_Calendar) but without results - when I pressed "Test..." button I got errors - something like "Now() is unknown function" or "Incorrect syntax near key word Current_Date".
After that I tied to use Presentation Variable in Prompt, but also without success ((
Please, help me.

I've created Repository Variable "CurrentDate", using SQL-query like this "select convert(varchar(10), getdate(), 104)" and now this variable is being initialized by value "07.04.2011". But I don't understand how to use this varible in DashboardPrompt! What item in list "Default selection" I should choose - "Variable Expression", "Server Variable" or something else? When I chose "Variable Expression" and write "CurrentDate" I got just string "CurrentDate" when preview Prompt. @{CurrentDate} gave me the same result.

Data missing in Crosstab report with calculated field via case when

I use the Oracle 10g discoverer. When I create a crosstab report with a calculate field via function case when and put it as datapoint, some of the data is not showing. I tried to not use the case when function for the calculate field, then all the data show.
I really do not the reason. Could anybody help me out with many thanks?

I have the original data below.
Work order, Team, Hours_worked, date
800001, S1, 5, 2012/01/01
800001, S1, 15, 2012/01/10
800001, S2, 4, 2012/01/04
800002, S1, 3, 2012/01/15
There are multipul records for the same work order, team on the same day or different.
Finally I want to set the start date and end date as the parameter to create a crosstab report format like
start date>=2012/01/01 and close date<=2012/01/05
Team
Total hours total hours within the range
Work order S1 S2 ... S1 S2 ...
800001 20 4 5 4
800002 3 0 0 0
in order to do it, I create two parameters independently start date and close date. Then I create a calculate field hours_worked_withinrange via
Case when date>=:start date and date<=:end date then Hours_worked else 0 end
This calculated field is correct in the tabular format report in discoverer desktop. But when I duplicate the list as crosstab. Some data is missing in crosstab data point.
I checked once I change the calculate field defination not use case when. (For example, C1=hours_worked*2). Then everything runs correct.

Missing (Functional) Vertical Scroll Bars In IE 11.0 After Upgrade

We are in the process of upgrading our SharePoint 2010 Farm to SharePoint 2013. We have begun our database-attach upgrade and have not yet converted the "look and feel". (The SharePoint 2013 farm has the latest patches and fixes)
The sites have no customizations or custom code. Under SharePoint 2010 farm the sites render correctly in Internet Explorer 11.0, Chrome, etc. The migrated sites do not show the vertical scroll bars in Internet Explorer 11.0, but show correctly
in Chrome (Version 39.0). Both the original farm and new farm are using the default unmodified v4.master page.
I have tried searching in the forums for an answer and on the internet and I see references to .css and .js settings. I don't know if that is the issue.
Oh and we have tried the compatibility settings but they did not make any difference.
Any thoughts?

Please reset IIS and check if there is any application pool is not start in IIS.
Would you please capture the screenshot about missing Vertical Scroll Bars and let me know the URL address.
Also, please collect ULS log for further research:
Collect the ULS log:
•Enable Verbose logging via Central Admin> Monitoring> Reporting>Configure diagnostic logging(You can simply set all the categories with Verbose level and I can filter myself).
•Reproduce the issue for three times.
•Record the time and get a capture of the error message(including the correlation ID if there is). Collect the log file which is by default located in the folder: <C:\Program files\common files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\15\LOGS>. Compress
them to a zip file and send it to me via workspace
•Stop verbose logging.

Validate the data in the internal table with the date in selection screen

I want to validate the data in the internal table and get only the records with the input date in the selection screen.
The date is in the select options and please let me know how to get the records only if it satisfies the input date in the selection screen.

For Ex.
SELECT-OPTIONS: S_DATE FOR VBAK-VDATU
If you want to read one INTERNAL TABLE record
READ TABLE it_tab(internal table name) WHERE vdatu(date field name in the internal table) = s_date
If you want to move more then one
LOOP AT it_tab WHERE vdatu = s_date.
Take the field values in another table and append it. then end loop.
you will get the records which only have the date in select option..
If you want detail code give me internal table name and select option name i will write you the code.

where as it should have been

for the output part:
a date is a point in time
the output depends on the format you specify for output
using for example a SimpleDateFormat.
You only specified the format for parsing (which is independent for that of output) so java uses some default format ... see the DateFormat.format() method for details.
for the comparison stuff, I just posted a little code snippet in this forum a few minutes ago.
the hint is: Date.getTime() returns milliseconds after a fixed date

Creating right/left click scroll with a data list and being able to click indiv.item from data list?

I've created a data list that contains a photo with text. I'd like to be able to right click the horizontal list instead of a scrolling bar. Could you please direct me on this?
I'd also like to select each individual box from the scrolling data list and click to their website or to a menu... not sure on how to do that either??

Funny, I was in the middle of writing an article on how to do this. The simple answer is you create a standard scrollbar with all four parts: track, thumb, increment button, and decrement button. Attach it to your data list, then make the opacity of the track and thumb = 0.
To make each item in your data list do something different, use the interactions panel and add a On Click interaction. You should notice there is an option toward the bottom of that panel to change from "When any item is selected" to "When a specific item is selected". Remember, programmers like to start counting from 0, so your first item in your data list i 0.
Note: In the attached example on the first two items are selectable.

Spry Data Set will not Refresh with New Data?

I'm using the Dreamweaver CS4 "Spry Data Set" Wizard and created the following layout on one of my pages:
In the wizard, under "Specify a Data Source", I chose "HTML", and selected my cfm page that has a simple Table with the datasource below:

When I display the page in IE8, The Spry Master/Detail page will not filter my records based on the URL parameter?
(Note: All my other "Non-Spry" datasets filter fine by the URL)
Question: How do I make the Spry data "Refresh" or "Re-run the query" so the data filters properly?

The first one is correct, but once I move to a different Acct number the Spry data will not update to reflect the correct Tickets?
Once I move to say, Acct 4413, the Spry Tickets Tab does not change or update to reflect this Acct's tickets?

LineChart data tip won't display with single data point?

Hi,
I have a Flex 3 LineChart with LineSeries which use CircleItemRenderer. If there is only a single data point to display, the data tip is not displayed. If there are several data points, each data tip is displayed correctly.
How can I make the datatip appear correctly with even just one data point? Any workarounds for this problem?
Quick googling found that I'm not the only person with this problem. A suggested workaround is to use PlotChart instead, but I don't want to go there unless there is absolutely no good way to solve this problem directly.

No one wanted to help me but I figured out that I was not referencing the DSN on the test server, only the local DSN.
The information to connect to the MSSQL database given by my hosting company was not correct for Dreameweaver (or MS Access) either.

BDC Insert have 1000 data but SM35 is showing with one data

In SM35, i run the process... it has only 1 data....
What happen to 999 data? Its weird...

It seems you make only one BDC_INSERT / BDC_TRANSACTION when 1000 were needed.
You should have
- BDC_OPEN
LOOP AT ...
- For each and every call of the transaction
- - REFRESH BDCDATA
- - Fill BDCDATA with BDC_DYNPRO and BDC_FIELD
- - BDC_INSERT or BDC_TRANSACTION
ENDLOOP.
- BDC_CLOSE

Modify Events Dates or Copy/Paste events with different date

Hi everyone,
I have about a dozen calendars in iCal. I would like to copy the events of last year exactly a year and three months later. They really are a lot, so manually doing it would be a lot of trouble.
I have been nosing around Automator solutions and it seems to be quite close to it, but not really it. I think I would have to do it per each calendar anyways, but each event seems like a lot of trouble.
Any idea?

It would be relatively simple with Applescript to iterate through each calendar, each event and copy the details to a new event, changing the start and end dates. There might be complications if any of the events were recurring, or had alarms.
However, even ignoring the fact that 2008 was a leap year, you cannot add exactly one year and three months to a date, because 3 months is not an exact period. What date, for example, is 1 year and 3 months after March 31st 2008? If you want the dates offset a specific number of days, it is easy, but if you want every event that was in March to be copied to June the scripting is likely to be so complicated that it would be easier to do it manually.

Changing data type on a field with populated data

I have a table that has already been populated
i wish to change the data type of one of the fields from number to varchar2
this field has the same value you in it throughout
value = 2005 and i wish to change it to 2005/06
What is the best way to do this ?

As stated in the user guide, you can change the datatype of a column only when the value of this column is NULL in all existing rows. One workaround (in 10g) would be to add another column, update the new column, drop the old column and rename the new column to the old column's name. Here's an example:
CREATE TABLE test (col1 NUMBER(8));
INSERT INTO test VALUES (2005);
COMMIT;
ALTER TABLE test add (col2 VARCHAR2(8));
UPDATE test
SET col2 = TO_CHAR(col1) || '/06';
