Data Related Error in BW

when i load the Data in a ODS i am seeing there is some Cust. no's are coming as blank for a perticuler accounting doc. no's.
while the cust no's are present in R3 system for that accounting doc. no's.
how i can resolve this issue.

Hi Atual,
It is possible that you might be having many records for the same key. So depending on the keyfield value, it might be getting filtered out/ overwritten in DSO. Check the corresponding keyfield value & analyze.

Date related error

I am trying to take a field, that is a date, that represents the date of the last order from a particular customer and to that add a calculated number of days, a number, expected til receipt of the next order.
So the formula is {@Last Total Ord Date}+({@New Total Days}). This occasionally gives me an error that states "the number of days is out of range".
An instance in which it does NOT give the error is with a customer whose last order date was 10/31/11 and whose number of days til next order is 121. It correctly gives me the result of 02/29/12.
The error is resulting with the next customer, in an instance where that customer's last order date was 11/16/11 and whose number of days til next order is 60.
Awfully confused here......sorry if I appear to be the newbie that I am.
Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Here's how you can get rid of the array error. Use this formula:
WhilePrintingRecords;
numbervar array ma;
ma := [tonumber({#Last Ord date 500}),tonumber({#Last Ord date 1000}),tonumber({#Last Ord date 350})];
Maximum(ma);
And, for the 'Out of range error', have you tried the dateadd() function? So, here's how you would use it:
dateadd("d",{@New Total Days},{@Last Total Ord Date})
If this throws the same error, follow Jamie's suggestions to see what the formula has accumulated until the error. The top left area of the formula window would show the variables and their accumulated values.
I suspect that the {@New Total Days} is returning a much higher value on a few occasions. Drop that formula on the details section or wherever it's appropriate and see if it is indeed returning 60.

Date Format Error message in German

Hello All
I am using Portal NW2004s SP12 and have mapped the UME to ABAP ECC System.
Suppose if user enters the in invalid format, the the error message is getting displayed in German language as below.
Bitte geben Sie den Wert in der Form 25/11/1987 ein
All other texts, labels, messages are in English only.
The German language error message comes only if date related error message is to be displayed.
This problem is with all the applications like Portal User Advanced Search in User Administration Role , ESS/MSS apps , etc.
I have checked the Browser's language, User's language, his country etc.
Please suggest the solution so that this message comes in English language.

This is a resource bundle translation bug, which you can report to SAP by opening a OSS Message.
As you are on EP7 SP12, I would recommend to apply the latest patch before you report this bug to check if this is already fixed.

I created a basic DBAdapter in JDeveloper, got the xsd file, wsdl file, .jca file and the topLink mapping file imported them into OSB project.
Then I used the .jca file to generate a business service, and tested, then the error occurs as described above.

Then I decided to use eis/DB/SOADemo for testing.
For JDeveloper project, after I deployed to weblogic server, it works fine.

I am facing a data exracton problem while extracting data from SAP source system (Development Client 220). The scenario and related setting are as the flowings:
A. Setting:
We have created 2 source system one for the development and another for the quality in BW development client
1. BW server: SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI 7
PI_BASIS: 2005_1_700 Level: 12
SAP_BW: 700 Level:13
Source system (Development Client 220)
2. SAP ERP: SAP ERP Central Component 6.0
PI_BASIS: 2005_1_700 Level: 12
OS: SunOS
Source system (Quality Client 300)
2. SAP ERP: SAP ERP Central Component 6.0
PI_BASIS: 2005_1_700 Level: 12
OS: HP-UX
B. The scenario:
I was abele to load the Info provider from the Source system (Development Client 220), late we create another Source system (Quality Client 300) and abele to load the Info provider from that,
After creating the another Source system (Quality Client 300), initially I abele to load the info provider from both the Source system , but now I am unable to load the Info provider from the (Development Client 220),
Source system Creation:
For both 220 and 300, back ground user in source system is same with system type with same authorization (sap_all, sap_new, S_BI-WX_RFC) And user for source system to bw connection is dialog type (S_BI-WX_RFC, S_BI-WHM_RFC, SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW)

Date parse error while importing users from OIM to OIA (SRM 5.0.3)

Hi All,
Env Details:
OIA (SRM 5.0.3), Weblogic and Oracle 10g DB
We have integrated OIM to OIA with extended attributes mapping by modifying iam-context.xml file to load users. Its done successfully. But when we map "Date" related attribute, its giving "Date Parsing error" and its not loading the users.
We have tried loading users using flatFile mechanism, its also giving same result.
Please suggest me. Thanks in Advance !!!

Hi,
Its a problem with OOB's OIMIAMSolution.class file, which is called while importing users from OIM. It used DateParse () conversion method only for all attributes which OIA attributes' name is ends with "Date". It defined, the conversion of date from (yyyy-MM-dd). So its expecting the input value should be in defined format(yyyy-MM-dd), if not, it gives a parse error.
We found work around for this as follows,
We have used other related OIA attribute which name ends other than "Date" string.

Getting no data found error while CSV download

Hi,
I have a report generated from the PL/SQL returning the query and I enabled the CSV Download option. But, when I try downloading the report contents using CSV download option, the excel sheet contains message "no data found". I enabled sorting and sum on few columns. Is it anywhere related to CSV download? Any solution would be really helpful..

Thanks for the help!! yep, it is indeed the wrong session state value. In the report, I was modifying the value to display the report, hence when CSV download is given, it was taking wrong session state value. So, giving "no data found" error. Probably, this may help some people.

Certificate Related Error Message/Please Help

Today I received an "Unable to verify SSL server pop.gmail.com" message on my Mail server. I transfer mail from gmail to Mail.
"Mail was unable to verify the identity of this server, which has a certificate issued to "pop.gmail.com". The error was:
The certificate for this server has expired.
You might be connecting to a computer that is pretending to be "pop.gmail.com", and putting your confidential information at risk. Would you like to continue anyway?"
In the lower box, it lists the Version, Serial Number, Issuer Name (which is from Zaire, Western Cape, and lists the organization as Thawte Consulting cc and other info, Subject name is Google Inc, common name is pop.gmail.com, then gives a Signature Algorithm, Parameters, etc.
It won't let me Copy and Paste so I have not hit the Continue button for concern of losing that info for reference.
I went to Help which instructed me to do the following:

Instead of asking for the "580 Anchors" , it asked simply "Do you want to add the certificates from pop.gmail.com.cer to a keychain?"
I clicked "Add"
The pop.gmail.com certificate AND Thawte Freemail Member AND Thawte Personal Freemail certificates is now entered in my Keychain.
There are no dates listed under "Created" or "Modified" for those certs under Keychain.
IS THIS OK OR DO I HAVE A PROBLEM SINCE THESE THAWTE CERTS ARE LOCATED IN ZAIRE???
IF IT IS A PROBLEM, HOW DO I FIX/CHANGE/OK/DELETE/MODIFY, ETC. IT? PLEASE BE CLEAR.
CAN I/SHOULD I JUST DELETE ALL THREE/SOME OF THE CERTS NOW IN KEYCHAIN?
WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO GET MAIL AS BEFORE THIS MESSAGE IF DELETE THE CERTS?

I had similar gmail/cert problem yesterday - not for the first time!
I deleted the prefs (user/library/preferences), deleted the gmail account (mail prefernces), ran applejack ( http://applejack.sourceforge.net/ ) & added the account from scratch.
Annoying I know, and my inbox was 200+ emails but nobody seems to know what or why this happens (my previous post) http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=243186&tstart=0
Perhaps this is related to certain emails (an email scam), i run 3 macs & the mail account on the affected machine receives my business email & this is the only machine the gmail/cert problem occurs.

I have a lot of grief with this version of Windows Media Player.
It is very buggy and frustrating to use.
I have my Music library on a QNAP NAS, which is as reliable as they come.
System notifications make it not save changes. It also does not do a good job of interpreting albums and artists from folders. Changes to track names are not saved, nor are tracks moved to other albums, renamed albums, changes to genre, artist
or date. It separates and merges albums/tracks without sense or reason. Some changes I've made up to 4 times, then closed WMP and re-started my machine to check if it has/hasn't saved the changes. Often it has not.
This is the first time I've used WMP in this capacity, and I do not recommend it.
New service pack please.

Oracle R Enterprise 1.1. requires Oracle Database 11.2.0.3, 11.2.0.4. On Linux and Windows. Oracle R Enterprise can also work with an 11.2.0.1 or 11.2.0.2 database if it is properly patched.
Embedded R execution will not work without a patched database. Follow this procedure to patch the database:
1. Go to My Oracle Support:http://support.oracle.com
2. Log in and supply your Customer Support ID (CSI).
3. Choose the Patches & Updates tab.
4. In the Patch Search box, type 11678127
and click Search
5. Select the patch for your version of Oracle Database, 11.2.0.1.
6. Click Download to download the patch.
7. Install the patch using OPatch. Ensure that you are using the latest version of OPatch.

Difficult import related error, urgent please help

I have 5(file1, file2...file5) export dump file taken from source database (ABC). Export was taken from user level(say user1, user2...user5)(schema level).
file1 = user1 (contain all the information related to user1 )
exp system/manager file=user1 owner=user1 compress=y
And now I have a new database. In this database I have Create new user corresponding to my source instance.
user1,user2..user5.
The problem is when I try to import(the data is getting imported) in user1, it says some grant related error.
I think this error is related to user2, user3..user5. I think when the import is trying to grant(some priviledge) to user1(during import data to user1) whose object is in user2, it is not able to find those object as those object does not exist in user2.
imp system/password file=file1(belonging to user1) fromuser=user1 touser=user1 log=file.log
Please let me know in this situation what can be done. please tell me the solution.

Hi!
First of all you should create all users (user1 through user5) before starting import of user1. This ensures that grants granted from i.e user1 to user5 are executed without errors during import of user1.
However, when importing user1, the import does not include grants given from other users, i.e user2, to user1. Grants are owned by the grantor, and therefore grants given is included in exportfile for the grantor.

Time Machine slow backup with Date Validation error?

Console is spitting out this garbage and I don't know what it means

It creeps along and eventually finishes but if I have a lot of data to backup it takes hours for a few hundred MB. Any ideas?

Check the format of your charecteristics and key figures .
Check you put data separators in you flat files approriately
In the particular charecteristics ZUNIQUEID ,ensure data is consistent...check the related tables

OK, so this is definitely bulk copy related and most likely file/path access as that is the case 9/10 times.
Off the top of my head, you could check security one of two ways:
From SQL Box
- RDP (Remote Desktop) or physically log onto the SQL box using the credentials of the account specified when you setup the app
- Attempt to open the folder specified in the error log
- ** If you get an error it should give you an idea as to why it is failing**
From Machine that is sharing the folder
- Open Windows Explorer and locate the folder
- Right click, select properties, then security
- Confirm that the user specified in the FDM config has directory access
Other suggestions
- Put Filemon / procmon on the SQL Box and monitor while you push the file through FDM. At some point filemon/procmon will show an attempt ot access the files specified in the bulk insert. This will give you a very good idea as to what is happening.
- Check the Eventlog on the box with the file share. Go to the Security section of logs. You should see a failed security attempt from the SQL box / username.

Data load error regarding timestamp

Hi All,
I am getting data load error related to time.
I am using 2lis_02_SCN for CNFTM(time stamp) filed
with value "08:00:" need to convert to 08:00:00...for some records and rest of the records are coming with normal 6 digit time.
please send your suggestion as early as possible.
