Data source availability from ecc6.0

Dear Experts
A requirement came to us for ORDER BOOK DATA WITH QUANTITES Report . for SD MODULE in BI.
BELOW ARE THE FIELDS GATHERED BY ME THAT SATISFIES THE REPORT. BUT MY ISSUE IS I COULD NOT FIND THE RIGHT DATA SOURCE THAT FULL FILL THE REQUIREMENT.
FRNDS WHO HAS EXPERIANCE ON SD REPORTS OF BI MODULE CAN GIVE SUGGESTIONS HOW CAN WE GO TO GET THE SOLUTION. BELOW ARE THE DETAILS OF FIELDS AND TABLES THAT I REQUIRED.

Thanks for all the guidance
here i has checked all the possibility with standard data sources but requirement is typical which out put will bw in four levels
1st level,2nd level ,third level and 4th level informations has to be provided.
when i check for the same level of information from the data sources this is stored in 5 data sources still one field like kbetr is not incuded.
These are the scenarios which i observed from the requirement.
any how i has asked abappers help in creating function module they are on process right now.

Hi Harish,
First go to RSA5 in ECC select your datasource 2LIS_11_VAHDR and activate it.
After activatin check in RSA6 whether the datasoure activated properly or not.
Then log on to BI sytem Select datasource and click on replicate.
Then Create Infocube infopackage ,Transformation, DTP ...entire flow. But dont schedule it because there is no data in SETUP Tables.For full load first we need to run statistical set up , so that data should come to SETUP Table.
Now go to ECC enter T.CODE OLI7BW to filled up the SETUP Table for datasource 2LIS_11_VAHDR.
It will ask you for Run Name etc give the run name and time limit and execute it.
If you get some error then first delete the SETUP Table by using Transaction Code LBWG.
In LBWG it will ask you for applicatiion number , give 11 i.e for sales datasourc and execute it.
Data will get deleted from SETUP Table. To check data is deleted or not in SET UP Tabe go to database table MC11VA0HDRSETUP. Always remember the name of SETUP Table will be Extract Structure followed by SETUP.
EX : If extract structure name is MC11VA0HDR then name of the SETUP Table will MC11VA0HDRSETUP.
If data gets deleted then again go to 0LI7BW and run the Statistical Setup then agan check in MC1VAOHDRSETUP table contains data or not.
Then trigger the Infopackage and DTP in BI. Above steps was for full load.
Now to Load deltas follow below steps.
First Create INIT at BI side which enable delta at ECC Side.
Then go to ECC and execute T.CODE LBWE.
LBWE is LO Cockpit Work Bench. There we have folowng functions 1.Maintan Datasource. 2.Maintain Extract Structure. 3. Job Control. 4.Delta Type 5.. Activate/deactivate.
If you want to add any new field to your datasource then to to Maintain Extract Strucutere remeber before adding or modififying datasource first we should deactivate datasource by using 5th function Activate/Deactivate.
Then select DELTA TYPE in delta type we have four types of delta. 1. Delta Queue (RSA7) 2. Queued Delta (LBWQ)
3. Unserialized (SM13) , 4. Seriaized (SM13)
If you select Delta queue then deltas drectly come to RSAT.
if you select Queued Delta deltas goes to LBWQ then you have perform V3 job by using Job Control function to move data from LBWQ to RSA7. Remeber to BI data always goes from RSA7 only.
If you select Unserealized then delta goes to SM13 again you have to perorm V3 Job to move deltas in RSA7.
Serialize update is not in used in Lo-cockpit.
There is a differerence between DELTA QUEUE , QUEUED DELTA, UNSERIALIZE UPDATE. Pls find the differences on net.
Then select your delta type and create deltas dtp in BI and start loading .

Use 0CO_OM_WBS_6 for Actual , bcoz it is having Delta Option for Plan you can go 0CO_OM_WBS_2 or 0CO_OM_WBS_3. See the SAP Help on that.

Extracting delta's with ODP-data source 0MATERIAL_ATTR from SAP ECC

We are using ODP-replication to extract data from SAP ECC to a MS SQL-database by SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
For extracting Material-data we use the standard data source 0MATERIAL_ATTR in SAP ECC.
This data source delivers a full load with all Materials in it.
In the properties of this data source (tab attributes) we saw that this data source is Delta_Extractor_Capable.
Therefore we set the extraction mode from 'Query' to CDC (= Change Data Capable) and did a new initial load to get all Materials again.
After changing a Material in ECC, we did a delta-load, but unfortunately we received ZERO records.
Is there anyone with experience on extracting delta's with data source 0MATERIAL_ATTR or another standard masterdata data source in ECC?

Delete the Queue in LBWQ/RSA7 and then freshly load Init and Check the Delta.
Once you load the Init then if there are no new records then it won't get any data. so 0 records
Check in SM37 in ECC why the job is terminated. See in ST22 also.

How to prevent data-sources.xml from being included in EAR

I cannot get rid of the data-sources.xml file in my EAR file in the meta-inf folder.
Deselecting the "Bundle Default data-sources.xml during deployment" in my preferences didn't have any effect. I also tried shutting down/restarting JDeveloper just in case it was cached.
I also tried adding an exclude filter for data-sources.xml in my deploy profile for both Web files and WEB-INF/classes.

The way I resolved this was to create the data-sources.xml, right click it, select Properties then uncheck Auto-update data sources.xml. That way it stays empty (hopefully).

How Get JDev to Omit data-sources.xml from every .war deployment

I want a global data-sources.xml file to be used for all deployments. I do not want a copy of my standard data-sources.xml file to be included in every single deployment. I want my global data-sources.xml file to reside in the standard J2EE location of:
oc4j_home/oc4j_instance_name/j2ee/config/data-sources.xml
JDeveloper, for whatever reason, includes a data-sources.xml into every .war file. How do we configure JDev to omit the data-sources.xml? How do we set up JDev to automatically configure the .xml files (orion-application.xml, application.xml, etc) to use the global data-sources.xml? I do not want to manually do this for every deployment.
I've been trying hard to find the answer in JDev online help and other OAS manuals. I read everywhere that I can have a "global" data-sources.xml, but I find no way to easily configure JDeveloper to do it this way.
I would be grateful for you insights/help.

I found the answer:
In JDeveloper, Go to Tools | Preferences
Select Deployment
Uncheck the option for "Bundle default data-sources.xml during deployment"
Upon the next generation of the .ear or .war file (including the next deployment), data-sources.xml will be omitted.

According to your description, you want to combine the data from two cube into one tablix. Right?
In this scenario, since your two cube share same dimensions, we can use lookup() function to retrieve the income from another dataset based on the data field for dimension rows.
For example, let's say you have DataSet1 retrieves data from cube A with data fields
Account and Income, DataSet2 retrieves data from cube B with data fields
Account and PreIncome. When rendering the data field from DataSet1 in a table, you can use the expression below in detail row.
=Lookup(Fields!Account.Value,Fields!Account.Value,Fields!PreIncome.Value,"DataSet2")

XML Data source - Referring from one section of data to Another section

In my application, XML raw data is used as an input to the Crystal Report 2008. From this XML data, different type of report outputs are generated. So XML data has formatting information too. This formatting information need to be used in generating report.
For Example, consider the below XML.

In the above example, REPORT_FORMAT record has formatting information. REPORT_DATA record has actual report data.
If report cooresponding to report_id 1 uses the above XML, then the output should be

If report corresponding to report_id 2 uses the above XML, then the output should be
BOW_EPI
TTV_EPI
In order to reduce the redundancy of the data, we decided to pass the formatting information with the data and use it in the report accordingly.
But I couldn't achieve the result. I am thinking about having a function which takes MEAS_CODE as an input and returns the correct DISPLAY_NAME. To perform this iteration of REPORT_FORMAT record is necessary. I don't know how to do it. Please give me some guidlines to achieve this.
If there is better way to do it, Please let me know. I have no other options, I need to use the report formatting information in my report.

BI Content Activation - no data sources available (CC 5.3)

The focus is on CC reporting for our management.
However, there are no datasources available after activation allthough i used data flow before and after, as well as automatic collection mode -> in my opinnion all necessary dependencies should have been selected.
Any ideas why it didn't work ?
Generally, are there Datasources for UD connections ? How does replication work here ?

A from clause query does what is says: it can only query data. For DML operations use Table/Procedure.

Error while transporting Data sources from DEV to Qual

System : SCM 5.0 (SP 8), BI 7.0 (SP 12)
1) We are trying to transport Data source objects from Development server to Quality server.
2) Data sources of Type R/3 and Web Service.
3) We are able to transport the objects from Dev.
4) Once we import the objects to Quality server, the objects are becoming into INACTIVE stage.

How to load 3.x hierarchy data source from a certain level ?

Hi all,
I have an old 3.x hierarchy data souce which has a structure like below :
　　　Level 0 : root node
              Level 1: Product Category
                  Level 2: Product Line
                      Level 3: Product
                          Level 4 : Product Version
each level has independent infoobject for it.
The hierarchy was initially constructed for the infoobject on the level 4 'Product Version'.
Now here comes anther requriement, we also want to have a hierarchy for 'Product' and try to reuse the datasource.
So the question is , is it possible to extract from the same data source, while just update the hierarchy for 'Product ' starting from the level 3 (up to level 0)?
PS: i can't migrate the data souce to 7.X, because the source system doesn't support.
I hope I made my question clearly.

Finally I solved this problem myself.
there are many mays if you want to realize the requirement, only if you change your way of thinking, don't be stuck your mind with the thought we have to use the original data source coming from the source system.
I'd like to introduce 2 ways I am thinking of:
1. use the SAP standard program 'Z_SAP_HIERARCHY_DOWNLOAD' to save the hierarchy as a .csv file, then you can refer to http://scn.sap.com/community/data-warehousing/bw/blog/2012/01/08/bw-730-hierarchy-loading-becomes-easier-with-the-help-of-new-framework
however this didn't work for me, because the program might be outdated in my working environment BW7.4, though I did some bugfix for this program , the output file seems with some errors.
2. since the hierarchy for the 4th level infoobject has been successfully updated in my case, we can use it as the data provider directly . Here is the general dataflow : 4th level infoobject hierarchy -> DSO -> target infoobject hierarchy (3rd level infoobject) .
for this DSO strucure, you should also refer to the link above, the structure is just like the EXCEL file provided. but you should be aware of adding external characteristics in the data fields of your DSO if there is external characteristics in your hierarchy.
in the transformation of 'source infoobject hierarchy' , you should select 'hierarchy (one segment)' as the subtype of hierarchy.
in the transoformation of 'DSO -> target infoobject' , you should map the source and target carefully , especially for the segment 'Structure' , you should make sure the field 0H_HIERNODE and the external chars. have proper value filled.

But I was not able to get the group. But in "UserAdministrator", I can find this groupName.
Which kind of API can I use?

Since your are using process order, I would like to know whether you are using process management function or not.
(Especially your are following GMP scenario ? This guide line is basically used pharmaceutical industry.
If you work with GMP scenario, before your are archiving your process order, you need to create electronic batch creation and archiving.
Then you can archive your process order and delete it completely from your system.
You can check whether your are using GMP scenario or not in your process order type.
(T-CD COR4).
If you are not. All you need to do is set deletion flag and deletion indicator to your process order and then archive your process order (you can use program PRARCHP1) by using archiving object PR_ORDER (you can call this object from t-cd sara or COAC).

Cannot setup data source that connect to the SQL Azure DB from Power BI

I have setup the powerbi site and i manage to install data mgmt gateway on my local machine
then i am able to setup data source on powerbi
however, when i browses the data source table from the powerbi site
i receive the error from get DataSource Schema.
And from the event log
Unable to enumerate tables. Error message: One or more error occurred when accessing the Host Service. Error message: An error occurred while sending the request.
An error occurred while sending the request.
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.
This operation cannot be performed on a completed asynchronous result object..

thanks for your advice. But i have installed .Net 4.5.1 and then reboot my machine and restart the gateway
However , I still cannot see table and view schema when i click the following
on the powerbi -> choose the data source -> edit -> data settings
And i receive the alter
