Hii
I am trying to deploying the Java Dictionary table archive on WAS 7 SP09 but the shows the following error.
compareTo QUANTITY: Java SQL type FLOAT not equivalent to target type REAL

The dictionary project is already deployed and no modifications are done in the tables except for the change in the length of a field of type string from 40 to 100 etc.
Please suggest a solution for the same.
Thanks.

Hi,
I hope the Java Dictionary and the database were unable to
execute the required table changes using an SQL statement.
Just check out the snote 1096388.
Hope it will help to solve the problem.

  • Running the same application in different database table- giving error:

    Hi All,
    I m new to JSF, spring and Hibernate web application. I have done a web project using JSF, Hibernate and Spring. We have to maintain the Data records which is stored in mysql db. Now there are different table is there such as example Employee Details and Company Details. So we created two seperate application o tomacat, For both Application we use same functionality except the JSP FILE Name and table name (Which is changed according to Application).
    In the employee.hbm.xml
    I changed the table name according to application. Two table (Company Details & Employee Details)...
    Now while running the application on the tomcat server, only one application is running at a time. if we start running the Employee Application, then Company Application is giving the below error,
    Error in Log:
    The resourse is already in used/busy.
    Interesting thing is only one Application is running at a time and other is in stop status.
    Could you please help us, how to overcome the error,
    Is it not possible to run both the application on different browsers.
    In logs the below error is showing:
    java.lang.Exception: Socket bind failed: [730048] Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.
    Could you please give some idea to sort out the below issue.
    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, I've changed the DynamicJDBCBindingFilter Class in this way:
    method doFiletr
    String usrName = request.getParameter(USERNAME_PARAM);
    String pswd = request.getParameter(PASSWORD_PARAM);
    String URL = request.getParameter(URL_PARAM);
    session.setAttribute(Configuration.DB_USERNAME_PROPERTY, usrName);
    session.setAttribute(Configuration.DB_PASSWORD_PROPERTY, pswd);
    session.setAttribute(Configuration.DB_CONNECT_STRING_PROPERTY,URL);//
    This is for retrieve the JDBC URL from the login page
    Then i've modified the DynamicJDBCEnvInfoProvider to accept this new parameter
    if(mJDBCURL!=null)
    ((Hashtable) connEnvironment).put(Configuration.DB_CONNECT_STRING_PROPERTY,mJDBCURL);
    Finally i modifed the DynamicJDBCSessionCookieFactory
    tho put this new parameter in DynamicJDBCEnvInfoProvider class
    EnvInfoProvider provider = new DynamicJDBCEnvInfoProvider(
    (String)session.getAttribute(Configuration.DB_USERNAME_PROPERTY),
    (String)session.getAttribute(Configuration.DB_PASSWORD_PROPERTY),
    (String)session.getAttribute[b](Configuration.DB_CONNECT_STRING_PROPERTY));
    cookie.setEnvInfoProvider(provider);
    But when I test the application it doesn't works.
    With the correct parameter the login fails.
    I'm not using a DB on my local machine, but one on another machine which has not the Dept table.
    thanks for help

  • Database, Dataset, Table Adaptors Error "Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand when passed DataRow collection with deleted row"

    Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express.
    I am new to Visual Basic programing and i am trying to understand the relationships between Datasets, database, table Adaptors. I have to following code that is is giving me the following error" Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand
    when passed DataRow collection with deleted rows".
    I can track the error and its located in "OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)" code. What am i missing?
    It seems that i can delete the data on the DataGridView Table and it only displays the correct data. but my database is not updating, even though the data grid displays differently.I can determine this because, when i save the offset database, i have all
    the previous uploads and all the rows that i wanted to delete are still there.
    My final goal is to be able to import offset data from a CSV file, save this data on the pc, send a copy of this data to a NuermicUpDown so the customer can modify certain numbers. From here they download all the date to a controller.  IF the customer
    needs to modify the imported data, they can go to a tab with a data grid view and modify the table. They will also have to option to save the modified data into a csv file.
    Im not sure if i am making this overcomplicated or if there is a easier way to program this.
    CODE:
    Private Function LoadOffSetData()
            Dim LoadOffsetDialog As New OpenFileDialog 'create a new open file dialog and setup its parameters
            LoadOffsetDialog.DefaultExt = "csv"
            LoadOffsetDialog.Filter = "csv|*.csv"
            LoadOffsetDialog.Title = "Load Offset Data"
            LoadOffsetDialog.FileName = "RollCoaterOffset.csv"
            If LoadOffsetDialog.ShowDialog() = Windows.Forms.DialogResult.OK Then  'show the dialog and if the result is ok then

                            cellvalue = rowvalue.Split(","c) 'check what is ur separator
                            NRow = MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable.Rows.Add(cellvalue)
                            Me.OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(NRow)
                        End While
                        Me.OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)
                        MainOffset.Value = OffsetTableTableAdapter.MainOffsetValue          'saves all the table offsets
    to the offset numericUpDown registers in the main window
                        StationOffset01.Value = OffsetTableTableAdapter.Station01Value
                        StationOffset02.Value = OffsetTableTableAdapter.Station02Value
                       myStream.Close() 'close the stream
                        Return True
                    Else 'if we were not able to open the file then
                        MsgBox("Unable to load, check file name and location") 'let the operator know that the file wasn't able to open
                        Return False
                    End If
                Catch ex As Exception
                    MsgBox("Unable to load, " + ex.Message)
                    Return False
                End Try
            Else
                Return False
            End If
        End Function

    Hello SaulMTZ,
    >>I can track the error and its located in "OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)" code. What am i missing?
    This error usually shows that you do not initialize the
    DeleteCommand object, you could check this
    article to see if you get a workaround.
    >> Im not sure if i am making this overcomplicated or if there is a easier way to program this.
    If you are working CSV file, you could use OleDB to read it which would treat the CSV file as a Table:
    http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/27802/Using-OleDb-to-Import-Text-Files-tab-CSV-custom
    which seems to be easier (in my opinion).

        modify yitab from itab_update.

    Hi
    1. You  have to Declare the Itab with the same structure as DB table.
    2. Use the statement
        Modify <DBtable> from TABLE <itab>.
    or
       Update <DBtable> from TABLE <itab>.
    Hope this will solve.

    Hi,
    When u creating the field for standard table u must use the APPEND STRUCTURE using that option we can create fields for that table.
    STEP1:GOTA DB TABLE
    STEP2:FIND THE APPENDSTURCTURE OPTION ON APPLICATION TOOLBAR.
    STEP3:CREATE ONE STRUCTURE START WITH 'ZSTR'.
    STEP4:ADD YOUR FIELDS INTO THAT STRUCTURE.
    STEP5:ACTIVATE THAT STRUCTURE.

    What I usually do in situations like this is that I connect to the database using a sql client and the same connection information as I specified to OIM and see if the attribute is present.
    Perhaps you got the wrong db name? Or schema name?
    Everything looks good so most probably there simply is some little typo somewhere.
    Hope this helps

  • ERROR  IN  FILE--XI--RFC SCENARIO.  BAPI  did not UPDATE the DATABASE TABLE

    Hi
    I have created a scenario  FILE -XI- RFC
    File is picked by file adapter  - Its working fine
    I have used BPM
    In RFC side  i used BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE
    Its working fine and return an Invoice Number and Fisical year .
    When i Check this in the R/3 System , in Invoice no Does not Exist .
    Message mapping is ok
    SXMB_MONI all are ok
    Receiver file i got the invoice no and fisical year .
    The Problem is " DATABASE TABLE DID NOT UPDATED "
    So  should i do BAPI_COMMIT seperately ........
    Any solution ................
    VERY VERY URGENT .....
    thanks in advance
    B.Jude

    hi jude,
    Commit Control for Single BAPI Calls
    If you want to use this communication channel to call BAPIs as remote-enabled function modules that change data in the database, set the indicator.
    If executed successfully, the transaction is written to the database by calling the function module BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT explicitly. If an error occurs, the transaction is rolled back by BAPI_TRANSACTION_ROLLBACK.
    The result is determined by the value of the field TYPE in parameter RETURN. If successful, the tables are empty and the values “”, “S”, “I”, and “W” are displayed. All other values are regarded as errors.
    To change this setting, set the indicator BAPI Advanced Mode.
    <b>In the Successful RETURN-TYPE Values table, enter the values that should lead to a successful execution.</b>

    Mandeep Virk

    Hi Maris,
    I see that you have create-default-dbms-tables set to true so WLS should be creating
    the database table for your EJB. If you can give me some more information, I'll be
    able to help you further. What version of WLS + service pack are you using? Also,
    is this a 1.1 bean or 2.0? Lastly, what are the types of the CMP fields in your
    bean?
    As a work-around, you can try creating the database table yourself before deploying
    the bean. This should resolve the deployment problem.

  • Deployment error:Table, view or sequence reference to ABC is not allowed

    Hi all,
    I have created a mapping in OWB where a table ABC gets loaded from its stage table S_ABC. The mapping validates fine, code generation is fine but when I try to deploy the mapping it gives me a deployment error saying PLS:00357 Table, View or sequence reference ABC is not allowed.
    I used the same logic to one of my other mappings and it gets executed without any problem. If you guys could tell me what is going wrong in this mapping, that would be very helpful.
    Thanks.
    Priya

    if you are using a view or sequence in the mapping or referencing any other object then the owb user needs to have grants to access those objects otherwise the deployment will fail. Please check the object grants.

    You code looks pretty good, at a quick glance.  Maybe you can simplify things a bit.
    For Insert, please see these samples.

    For Update, please see these samples.

    Knowledge is the only thing that I can give you, and still retain, and we are both better off for it.
    Best to keep samples here to VB.NET

But when I try to bind table component with my remote postgresql database table, yes...the table component disappear and only a "Table" string is displayed....this error is because I use remote database?? Or because it's PostgreSQL??
    Thanks.

    while trying to save i am getting errors.
    I am attaching the picture, please suggest me why those errors are coming.
    Thanks & regards,

    Hi,
    In SE11,  open your table in change mode and got menu Extras-> Enahncement Category...
    click  and reset  as  below.
    if your table is one level then set the enhancement category set as using option " can be enhanced(character type or numeric type)" and if your table using deep structure or table then use option " can be enhanced (deep)" option.
    Please try.
