Date Field to Load the full load data

I have a master data fields like plant, factory, Industry units and Machine Areas all in sequential hierarchy in my data source these all have "valid to" and "valid from date". Now i want to load this Data source with full load on a monthly basis.
1. Please tell me how can I add data field that captures all records for a month
2. Valid From field is there but if i say 07/01/2007 as valid from it will not pull the previous one.
3. Please let me know the step by step approach to make the full load on monthly basis. I do not have any other date field in datasource other than valid from and valid to which are date char 8 yyyymmdd field example factory valid fr = 01/2008
valid to 08/2008
like that. Please send me any documents or abap code that can solve this

Hi,
It seems yopu have already deleted the data for one month from the cube??
Should not have done that as DSO would have picked the delta correctly.
Just make sure that the delta was not too much high or it is better to run full repairs.
If you have deleted the data from the cube then do the full repair for the cube from the DSO for the same selections which you have deleted from the cube.
It will correct the data in the cube.
And no need to do reinit after that as it will pick the delta correctly for next time.

This incorrect name appears to be the "Full Name" setting of the email account, but when modifying the properties for the email account in Mail the field for modifying the "Full Name" setting is disabled, not allowing me to make any changes.

I believe it can be changed by going to https://appleid.apple.com/, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in with your iCloud ID, select "Name, ID and Email Addresses", then click "Edit" next to the name listed under "Your Name" and change it as desired.
Also, if you are trying to change the sender name for your iCloud email account, you'll want to go to icloud.com, sign into your account, open Mail, click the gear shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, go to the Accounts tab and enter the name you want to use in the Full Name field and click Done. Then quit Mail (Command-Q) on your Mac and re-open it. Your new From name should now appear in the drop-down list when you compose a new email.

Format of Date field is loading wrongly in the Infocube 0pp_c01. But it is loading properly into PSA.
I am loading data into PP infocubes from the following DataSources.(they all are 3.x datasources)
1. 2LIS_04_P_MATNR
2. 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL
3. 2LIS_04_P_COMP
The data is coming properly upto PSA. For example Actual Start date is loaded in cube like 733.884.
And, it is the same issue with all the cubes. So I checked the update rules. But, in it the mapping is done properly.

Hi,
HEre also value is loaded correctly. The reason u are seeing it in this format is because it is mapped into a key figure in the info cube.
It will store the value as number of days from a standard date like 1/1/1000 or 1/1/1900 - not sure which one of these, u should be able to search and find the correct date in the forums..but this is the logic behind it

Loading Historical data to the new field without deleting the data in cube

Dear BI Experts,
I have enhanced a new field to the Generic data source in BI 7.0 .
I need to load historical data to the newly appended field.
As we are having very huge data it is not possible to delete and do init again.
Is there any other possibility to load the historical data for the new appeneded field without deleting the old requests?

Does the Full load really remove previous requests and extract new data?

We wonder if the Full load does remove the previous requests or data and bring over new data?
For example, we extract data from a R3 table by using Full load. 1st day, we load data to R3 table, then extract the data to BW, then BW data contains only 1st day data. 2nd day, we delete R3 table data and load data for 2nd day only, then extract to BW still using the Full load, then what BW data should contain? both 1st day and 2nd day data? or 2nd day data only?
Any answer?

What data the cube should have should be decided by the business requirement.
Current data load will delete the existing data only if that option has been selected in the Infopackage, else it is going to get appended.

Set current system date in a field on load of a page

Hi APEX users,
I read about a similar thread on the subject but I am just as confused.
Simply I need assistance with the following:
I have a page that has many fields and one of those fields is DATE_RESOLVED. This is a DATE Picker field but I want this field to show the current system date every time the form loads/reloads BUT yet give the user the ability to change the date if they should choose to do so by way of the DATE Picker calendar.
How would I achieve this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. My form is functioning just fine but I just need to achieve this one last date function.

the follwing should cover your requirements.
a)
On you main page screen, if you click on your particuar date item, say P1_MY_DATE
set the follwing:
#1 under Source,
Source Used: only when current value in session state is null
Source Type: Plsql expression or function
Source value or expression: sysdate
#2 under default
default value: sysdate
default value type: plsql expression
b)
On your main page screen, create a new page computation by clicking on the '+' icon next to computation on the left hand side (page rendering)
location- item on this page (default) -> next ->
compute item: select your item (P1_MY-DATE) -> computation point: Before regions ->computation type: plsql expression -> next ->
computation: sysdate -> next
(leave blank, unless you want this to be conditional) -> create
done...

Change the Full load to Delta load

Hi All,
I am loading the data form R/3 to BW with full load by using the generic data sources.
Now I need to change the full load to delta. But I get the data 2 views and one FM.
Some what I have got the solution, that is going RSO2 there generic delta will be available
If I click I will get the one wind there 3 deltas form there I took time stamp. Then I need
Select the field name.
1) Now only my problem started in that field name there is no creation
Date and last changed data, based on this we need to get the data from R/3 to BW.
2) In that 3 datasorce I used the one DS function module in this also that field name is not
available .
3) In safety interval what I need to give.
After doing all the changes in R/3 side wht are the change i need to in BW
Please help on above 3 issues.

1.) based on these fields you will get delta records from r/3 to BW.
3.) safety interval :more clearly--- lower limit corresponds to last extraction
time and upper limit specifies to the current extraction time. This is regarding the date .

Error in Source System while running the Full Load

HI Experts,
We are using 0CRM_UT_SRV_CONT_I datasource from CRM to extract data.
It is giving error while running the full load as 'Error Occured in Source system' with messaage Number : RSM340.
I want to mention certain points here:
1) In RSA3 its running fine.
2) Connection between BW and CRM system is OK.
3) We have replicated datasource and send active veriosn from Dev system.
4) When I run Init without data, Init set sucessful with entry in RSA7 in CRM.
5) Delta run fine with green status.
6) As source system is static client, hence do data for delta.
The Main issue happens when we run either the Full load or Init With Data transfer.
Kindly suggest.

How to get data from COSP table, field HRKFT as the key to data from PM?

Dear ladies and gentlemen!
I need to get data from COSP table, field HRKFT as the key to data from PM tables (AFKO and AUFK).
The problem is that it is a key field to the COSP, and all non-key fields as an alternative to HRKFT are not suitable for this task.
All this is necessary for the extractor, which loads the data from the R \ 3 systems in the BW-system. I need to perform SELECT from a table COSP and maybe also JOIN, most likely between tables COSP and AUFK.
What should I do in this case?

From information on help.sap.com I've made a conclusion that one of possible solutions in theory is to modify standard extractor PM_OM_OPA_1 in order to make HRKFT field available for work, because by default it is hidden by SAP and not available for use as a key field.
Of course, it's not a very good solution, but for now I know no other way to solve this problem.
Maybe someone knows better ways? In this case I will be very grateful for any help!

The Setup table is used mainly for storing the Historical data whereas the new and changed records will be maintained in the Update table.
By storing the Historical data in the setup table you don't need to disturb the Application table anymore.

How to have an Incremental Load after the Full Load ?

Hello,
It may be naive, but that question ocurred to me... I am still dealing with the Full load and have it finish OK.
But I am wondering... once I can get the full load to work OK... Do I need to do something so that the next run is incremental ? or is this automatic ?

1. Setup the source and target table for the task in DAC
2. Once you execute the task (in DAC) than in the Setup -> Phyisical Sources -> Last refresh date timestamp of the tables (for the database) will be updated (Sorry but I do not remeber exactly the location)
3. Once it is updated the incremental (Informatica) workflow will kicked off (if the task not setup for full load all times)
4. If it is null the full load will updated.
5. You can use a variable (may be $$LAST_EXTRACT_DATE?!) to setup the incremental load for the Informatica workflow

But im in confusion in thinking on Logic to find the Full and final settelment processed date.
First of all..Report has to check WPBP table weather Employment status is Zero.
Later..It has to read the HRPY_RGDIR table.
Here what the system to check.What conditions to be validated to fetch the Full and final settelment processed date.Will it be FPPER and INPER as 00000000 or shall we do it from offcycle reason.

When you book an invoice, that Payment Term will automatically defaulted to Invoice.
You can define Payment Term in AP.
