Hi Jai
U can use this code
TABLES: T247.
DATA: V_DATE TYPE SYDATUM.
DATA: V_STRING(20).
V_DATE = SY-DATUM.
SELECT SINGLE * FROM T247
WHERE SPRAS = SY-LANGU
AND MNR = V_DATE+4(2).
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
CONCATENATE V_DATE+6(2) '-' T247-KTX '-' V_DATE(4)

  • KEPM Data Upload with BAPI

    Dear sirs:
I have to build a data upload program for transaction KEPM (Edit Planning Data), using the BAPI BAPI_COPAPLANNING_POSTDATA. Does anyone have a sample.
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards,
    Dairo

    <b>FYI</b>
    FU BAPI_COPAPLANNING_POSTDATA
    Text
    Write CO-PA Planning data
    Functionality
You use this method to return planning data from Profitability Analysis back into the system. This overwrites existing planning data in the system (or, more precisely, the delta value between the old and new values is determined and updated as a line item).
You typically call up this method after reading planning data with the GetData method and making changes to it. To import the changed data back into the system, you fill the parameters SELECTEDFIELDS and SELECTION with data in the same way as you called up GetData. When data is being written, these parameters determine how the delta value between the planning data to be imported and the old planning data in the system is determined: firstly, the old planning data in the system is read in accordance with the values for the parameters SELECTEDFIELDS and SELECTION, and then the delta for the data to be imported is created.
The data to be posted is imported using the table DATA. Since this table is also used to read data with the GetData method, it should also be populated accordingly when data is imported. See also the documentation for the GetData method and for the parameter DATA for this method.
Warning: Under certain circumstances, data that is not imported but is already present in the system as an old value are canceled in this process.
If, for example, products A1 and A2 from plan version 001 are selected in the selection criterion SELECTION but table DATA only contains planning data for product A1, the planning data for A2 that is in version 001 and already in the system is canceled.

  • A problem when using a data element in BAPI

    Hi there,
I build a function module, and want to use it as a BAPI. But when I add the function module as a method of a BAPI object, it gives me the following error: data type xxxxx cannot be used for methods.
I guess the problem happens because of the type of data element I used for the input parameter of the function module. Thus I tried many other data elements, but I keep getting the same error. I am really out of the game. Could anyone tell me which data element I should use for the input parameter of the function module? The function module has only one input parameter, which should be a string with length less than 100.
    Thank you so much!!
    Sincerely,
    Bing

The function module has only one input parameter, which should be a string with length less than 256. (I tried many predefined data element like RPLM_STRING, but when I tried to add the function module as a method of BAPI, the SAP always gave me the error: data type xxxxx cannot be used for methods)
It only has one output parameter: RETURN (associated type: BAPIRETURN)
I am really not familiar with ABAP program, let alone BAPIs. Any suggestions would be very helpful to me. I sincerely appreciate your help.

  • Runtime Error while uploading data using a BAPI

    Hi ALL,
I am trying to upload duties for PO items using BAPI from a excel sheet. In this BAPI I am saving the data into a z table(Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import). The data is getting saved into the table and it shows the data uploaded successfully message also, but when I scroll up I see RUN time error, althogh the data is getting saved.
I have seen in the st22 and it shows the following information.
    Internal error: Invalid page number.
    What happened?
The current ABAP program had to be terminated because the
ABAP processor detected an internal system error.
The current ABAP program "ZFI_UPD_BOE_UPLOAD" had to be terminated because the
    ABAP
processor discovered an invalid system state.
My functional consultants opinion is after data getting saved it comes into me23n's  condition tab.He has done it many times. But for one PO it is not showing.
I checked the upload program. In upload program a BAPI is written which simply takes the data from a excelsheet and saves into the z table.
My query is whether we can show the data of a z table into standard tocde?

    Thanks Lakshman!
I debug the program. There is no BDC used update. In this program after taking the data from excel sheet one internal table is prepared and this internal table is directly used to insert data into z table. This is the last code which executes.
      INSERT zmmpoamend FROM TABLE t_zmmpo_amend_tab.
      IF sy-subrc EQ '0'.
MESSAGE 'Data Upload Successfully completed' TYPE 'S'.
      ELSE.
        ROLLBACK WORK.
MESSAGE 'Data Upload failed ' TYPE 'E'.
      ENDIF.
      CLEAR t_zmmpo_amend_tab.
      REFRESH t_zmmpo_amend_tab.
Is it possible to configure z table using SPRO tcode, such that this z tables data will go to standard table and then we can see it in the standard tcode?
I am not sure but it's just a guess.

  • How to create a data filter for BAPI used in a Distribution Model ?

I am trying to create IDOC's for a QM inspection plan via message type QPMK in ECC 6.0. When creating the new message type in the Distribution Model, it forced me to use a BAPI (MasterInspectionChar) rather that just the message as I have done in the past. In order to ensure that only IDOC's related to a specific plant and material type get sent out, I was trying to create a filter.
I am able to get into a 'Change Filter' dialog by double clicking 'No data filter set' under the node 'MasterInspectionChar.SaveReplica'. However, an attempt to highlight anything on this dialog and clicking button 'Create filter group' results in msg. 'Select node: Content-dependent parameter filtering'.
Online help led me in a different direction, one thread led me to believe I needed to create a table entry for the filter in table TBD16 via BD81 for later attachment to the BAPI in the Distribution Model. Before this, I created two Z* ALE Object Type records for plant and material type in table TBD11 via BD95 for what I thought would provide a lookup back in BD81 for creation of a new filter record, but these objects are not found. Per the help, I am also unclear as to whether I would need to set up Receiver determination or Parameter filtering, nor where to make this step in the configuration happen?
Can anyone point me back in the correct direction to get a data filter set up for this BAPI within the Distribution Model ?
    Thanks - Mike

Just to clarify, what I am having trouble with is finding where exactly to plug in the name of the plant to be filtered? If using a message type such as MATMAS in a distribution model, it is very straight forward to navigate down from the 'Data filter active', and assign a value to whatever field you wish to filter via the 'List of Values'.  But in this example, message type QPMK required use of the BAPI MasterInspectionChar, and therefore the different method in creating the filter.
I cannot find similar functionality when navigating the BAPI related row, for MasterInspectionChar. The 'Change Filter' dialog popup displays a row for 'Container' and then 3 more rows containing 'BAPI structure...'.   Clicking the 'Attribute' checkbox on any of these rows sets 'Data filter active' as a node under the BAPI.  Double clicking the 'Data filter active' brings me back into the same dialog, and selecting any row with an attempt at this point to create a filter results in the 'Select node: content-dependent parameter filtering' warning.  Is this warning occuring because of missing configuration?
    Thanks - Mike

COULD ANYBODY GUIDE ME, HOW TO RETRIEVE THE DATA FROM BAPI, FOR THE WRITTEN CODE.

I didn't seen any other answers but here's how it's been done previously in our organization for a custom BAPI. In this example, we give material and language to return the part description. It's not specific to your project but may give you ideas..

    Hi,
is step by step process .
Step-by-Step Guide for using BAPI in LSMW
Note! The screen prints in this article are from ECC 5.0. They may differ slightly in other versions.
    Introduction:
This document details the usage of BAPI in LSMW. We have used the example of migration of the purchase order data into SAP.
    Pre-requisites:
It is assumed that the reader of this article has the minimum knowledge required on the Business Object, BAPI, Message Types and IDoc Types.
    Step-by-Step Procedure:
Details of the BAPI used in this scenario:
    Business Object: BUS2012
    Method: CreateFromData
Details of Message Type and Basic IDoc Type:
    Message Type: PORDCR
    Basic IDoc Type: PORDCR02
Let’s have a look at the BAPI first, before proceeding to the LSMW:
    1. Go to Transaction BAPI
    2. Click on Search Button
    3. Enter the value “BUS2012” and select “Obj.type(Technical Object Name”
    4. Press ENTER
    5. Following screen appears:
    6. On the left side of the screen, Expand the “PurchaseOrder”.
    7. Select “PurchaseOrder” and double-click on the same for details.
    Building LSMW using BAPI:
    1. Go to Transaction LSMW.
    2. Enter the Project, Subproject and Object information and click on CREATE.
    3. Enter the descriptions for Project, Subproject and Object as prompted.
    4. Now select Settings à IDoc Inbound Processing
    5. “IDoc Inbound Processing” screen appears. Enter the required details as shown below:
    6. Click on “Activate IDoc Inbound Processing”.
    7. Click on “Yes” when prompted for “Activate IDoc Inbound?”
    8. Hit on “Back” to return to the main screen.
    9. Click on Continue (F8). Following Screen appears:
    10. Select the Step 1 “Maintain Object Attributes” and select “Execute”.
    11. Select the radio button “Business Object Method” and enter the following details:
    Business Object: BUS2012
    Method: CreateFromData
    Hit ENTER
    12. Save and click on BACK button. Following information message is displayed.
    13. Now select step 2 “Maintain Source Structures” and click “Execute”.
    14. In this step, we need to maintain the source structure. In our example, lets consider the example of a file with 2 structures Head and Item data as shown below:
Click on Create and name the source structure as HEADERDATA. Now select HEADERDATA and click on “Create” again to create the child structure. Following popup appears:
Select “Lower Level” and click on Continue. Enter the Item data structure name.
Click Save and hit BACK button to go to the main screen.
    15. Select step 3 “Maintain Source Fields” and hit execute.
    16. Enter the fields as shown below:
    17. Click SAVE and return to main screen.
    18. Select step 4 “Maintain Structure Relations” and click Execute.
Select E1PORDCR and click on CREATE RelationShip. Following screen appears:
    Select HEADERDATA and hit ENTER
Similarly do the same for the structure E1BPEKKOA, E1BPEKPOC and E1BPPEKET.
Click Save and return to main screen.
    19. Select the step “Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules” and click on execute. Maintain the Field Mapping as seen below:
    20. Select step 7 “Maintain Source Files” and provide the link for the test file created. (Create a test file with the same structure as defined earlier).
Save and return to main screen.
    21. Select the step “Assign Files” and click on Execute.
Assign the file provided to the source structure. Here the same file is provided for both the structures.
Save and return to the main screen.
    22. Select the step “Read Data” and click on Execute.
    Click on Execute.
    Return to the main screen.
    23. Select the step “Display read data” and click on execute.
Click on the structure name to get the field level values.
    24. Return to main screen and now select “Convert Data”.
    25. Return to the main screen and select “Display Converted data”.
    26. Return to main screen and select “Start IDoc generation”.
    27. Now select the step “Start IDoc Processing” on the main screen.
    28. Return to main screen and click on “Create IDoc overview”. Here the data record and status records of the IDoc could be viewed:

    Hi
You can achieve it in another way..
Before Passing Data to BAPI , Check whether the material is existing or not..
If material is existing (Present in Material Master Tables e.g. MARA ) using
    data: l_matnr like mara-matnr.
Select single matnr from mara into l_matnr.
    IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
" Material is existing ==> Do Not Pass to BAPI
    else.
" Material is NOT existing ==> Pass to BAPI for creation.
    endif.
Repeat above logic for every material in batch..
Hope it will solve your problem..
    Thanks & Regards

  • Mobile number is not uploading for BP master data creation using BAPI ?

    Hi,
I am creating Business Partner Master data in ISU/CCS using the BAPI "BAPI_ISUPARTNER_CREATEFROMDATA". Uploading data from Excel.
Successfully uploading and creating new Business Partners apart from Mobile number, nick name, middle name, and name of birth fields.
There are 2 issues i am facing:
    1. There is no field name is called Mobile number (data element AD_MBNMBR1) in structures of that BAPI.
    2. Nick, middle and birth names fields are there, but they are under the Expand(+ symbol) in FPP2 (FPP1) Tcode. That's why these fields are not uploading.
    How to upload them?
    Please help me out.
    Thanks
    Sarayu Parvathaneni.

    Hello Roopesh,
Ususally, to make the BAPI update the database, you have to run BAPI
    BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2 is executed.
    In se37-> You may insert
    BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2
    BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
in the Menu-->function module >test>test sequences.
Also as Mani said, if the update is successful the return parameter will be '0'.
    Regards,
    Ademola

  • How to Fill custom table data using standrad BAPI

    Hello Team,
I have some clarification on usage of Standard BAPI :  BAPI_Material_savereplica.
I have some custom fields in MARA and MARC tables so i have used BAPIExtensionin and able to pass custom field of MARA and MARC.
My issue is in material master the MARC custom fields of a material are going to update in a Z table along with MARC table.
So can we achieve this functionalioty using BAPI : BAPI_Material_savereplica menas can we upadate custom table by using standarda bapi
Please let me know the available options ..

    Hi Some,
You are saying most of the data is resides out of sap, then you try with mapping of those data in sap standard tables if match or if not then develop a custom interface which will read data from outside & will put in your pay roll processor interface,
and normally your SAP data you can interface through PU12.
If you want single interface then you need to develop unique interface program.
    All the best.

  • Pulling Table data with a BAPI

    Hi:
Looking for BAPI to pull data from Tables in the back end.

    Hi Jo,
As I see, both the model node and the Value node has the same structure. In that case try using the copy service API for copying sll the values from ur model node to value node. The statement is
    WDCopyService.copyElements(wdContext.node<ModelNodename>,wdContext.node<ValueNodename>);
    This should work
